701  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: New 6990 Setup Questions on: June 02, 2011, 05:10:49 PM
Cards should be arriving later today.

Installing this as well later tonight:

Windows can be wierd about crossfire.  I have a 6990 and 2 5870 but no crossfire enabled, then I have another box with 2 5970 that requires the crossfire cable to be installed in order for opencl to recognize all 4 cores.  It used to be (stream 2.1) that crossfire degraded performance, but I've seen that with sdk 2.4 that problem has been fixed.

Yep.  Now off to make my mining proxy work.

Why does it say: "0.00 MH/s
Average speed in last 10 minutes"

When I've been hashing at 560M/hashes with no downtime in the last 4 hours?

Miners are working fine, just deepbit.net is not reporting my hash rate.  I hope I'm getting credit for these shares...

Actually, I think the mining is down now too...

Site is still down. Do something!

Naww... Let everyone squirm in delight as the difficulty falls!

707  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Huge ~40% Drop in Network Hashing Power (5/27/2011) on: May 28, 2011, 03:18:55 AM
The total network hashing power started 5/27/2011 UTC at ~5THash/s and swung to close the day at just over ~3THash/s. With a low around ~2.9THash/s.

That is a nearly 40% drop, day over day, in the first full day after the latest 78% difficulty increase.

YAY!!!!!!!

I should update on the pending sale.

Currently I have 2 5850 and 2 PSU's on hold for a person for weekend local pickup. 6950 + PSU pending Payment to another person shipped international.  The 2 remaining 6950's also pending to another local buyer for weekend pickup. FYI the shipping included is US only, but international shipping per case can be looked into. In most cases it seems I can ship out the each piece internationally using USPS Priority for another $20-25 per card after checking shipping to Russia and Indonesia. This might help out with some international miners.

Both 5970's and 8 5850's are still for sale at this point. Thanks for looking

What city are you near? Pickup? Im interested

He's in LA.

Just bought 2 cards from him, seems like a reasonable guy.

Will see how it goes once I receive the actual cards.

Did you get a tracking number?

Please post questions in this thread.

Would you take $190 BTC shipped to 95010?  WHere are you located?

Do you have any references?  Can we use clearcoin?

Quote
I'd consider $190 plus the shipping charge, so at least $205, assuming I don't get any better offers soon.

I don't have any trading references yet, other than having bought items from Cablesaurus.  I've been involved in the Bitcoin community for about a month, and I hang out on IRC a lot in #bitcoin and #bitcoin-mining.  gmaxwell and grbgout should be able to verify that I've at least been around.  I'm also using my real name, and I've signed posts here with my PGP key (now that I think of it, I'll go sign the 5870 post).

I'd be willing to use Clearcoin if you can provide me with trading references.

Also, I'm located in Rochester, New York.

You're a bit far from me... So I would need to get express/priority shipping to have it here by Wednesday...  If you include this in the $200 USD (BTC) Price, you got a deal with me.

Looks like it was a scam :p

Was it really? He said he would do clearcoin?

I think PGP trust is a must.

Heatware: IceRedwing (184-1-0)

Ok. So I have a few stuff for sale. I've recently hit the electrical ceiling trying to add more miners in my Apt. I also had 10 more reference 5850's and a few more PSUs on the way at the time this happened and these arrived today. 5970s and 6950s were from my original two mining rigs that were upgraded and are about 7 and 3 months old respectively. The rest are new and sealed besides one 5850 that I only opened to show they are all reference model.

Parts I have for sale:
