I hate people saying Dont worry, youre just a smal fish, i have nothing to cover.. This thinking will lead us to a big brother gov. I like to support people who really need anonymity but if we all do nothing for anonymity/privacy then you rise a red flag to the NSA if you need to privatize your chat. If everybody would use encryption, the NSA or other agencys could nothing do and are unable to filter out spezial persons.
But if you spend your data for every gov, agencys etc. Then were all like glass. And who nows what ppl they call as terrorists next? Maybe bitcoin users? Or ppl who think different? Gays? Poor ppl?. And they have all your data so they do a simple research to know what you like, who you are , what sexual orientation you have...
So pls people dont be a cow, encrypt your data, tell other ppl to care about privacy and stop beeing a stupid user with "cleartext Internet"

Got my first 256.00 PHS on testnet .. but its just for testing right? no value
For my 1. minting question is the config example right? Because my cmd say couldnt connect to server ..
And how do i know if the progress is in work?

Hey Community, i sit here the hole day doing step by step this tutorial: http://silverlinux.blogspot.co.at/2013/10/minimal-headless-opencl-cgminer-on.htmlAfter i was finished, i could started cgminer but it hangs on started cgminer the hole night. Today i realized that i have a 32bit ubuntu and reinstalled, installed the 32bit amd driver (not beta) and the 32bit sdk. Same problem, hungs on started cgminer. Then i switched to tty7 with the xdm login screen and voila, cgminer magicaly starts. BUUUUT: the GPU is OFF . So go to settings, enabled gpu .. no problem, connected to the pool .. BUUUT: zero khs. WHY DO I MINE WITH 0 khs ? I dont understand... pls help Error -55: Enqueueing kernel onto command queue. I just wanted to ask, which mobo do you recomend for mining scrypt coins.
I would begin with 1 Radeon r9 290 and add later up to 5 other cards.
I heard from the Asrock h61/h81 pro but im not sure if this is the real one ^^

Why do you think i will never create more than 6.6 BTC? If i run the machine i will get very little amounts maybe , but it create amounts. And so after i reached 6.6 why do you think i will not create more? after one day of running i will have 6.60001 BTC maybe thats ok it increase (maybe i have a naive thinking, i just wanna understand) And After the difficulty is extremly rising i could change to an altcoin, right? I could mine peercoins and exchange it to bitcoin so its also increasing. Your not going to create any significant amount more than 6.6 BTC from those calcs, you might created 0.000001 in the next block and so forth in decreasing amounts to the point where you get nothing (i.e your earnings approach zero per block). Wrong, you can't change to an altcoin because those are based on scrypt which is a different to the SHA-256 used by Bitcoin making your miner incompatible. To mine altcoins at the moment you need to use GPUs as there are no ASICs in existence for altcoins.
