7001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: June 11, 2020, 10:45:52 AM
Is that the plan, for them to dump their XRP? If that were the case why would they have invested heavily in MoneyGram? Something does not add up.

Things are not looking great for XRP right now but it is still 4th largest by market capital according to CMC. I wonder the team are planning to do next to try to get XRP implemented in more ways.

It would be a tragedy if XRP did not start picking up soon because the potential to take a solid position and foothold within the fintech industry was there from years ago.

No plans for the team. They are yet not done dumping all their coins?

Probably the plan is to put a sell wall on 0.20$ to dump billions of their coins. When all their coins are collected by whoever their investors are, the government will partner up with the ripple team asking for a tool as coinbase did and price dips to -$0.05, they again buy up the billions of coins to recently sold probably at $0.04.
7002  Economy / Reputation / Re: BETKING SCAM: Top Casinos Give Betking Scammer Affiliate Links on: June 10, 2020, 09:53:36 PM

I still advise users to add you to their IGNORE list and to not give you the time of day but as a one-off here goes:

I had to unIGNORE you just read your post. What is your real plan here? What is your end game?

Jolly old boy, you seem outraged, why?  I am offering a free consultation to scam victims.  For someone who uses a pseudonym  (made up name), you seem very particular.  Also you need to read better, I passed the bar in 1992 and can use Dr. because I hold a PhD from the University of Cincinnati. Do you think only "real lawyers" sit in some stuffy office 60 hours a week while the economy has gone virtual the last 20 years?
7003  Economy / Reputation / Re: Another Milestone: My 10,000th Post on: June 10, 2020, 09:49:22 PM
10,000 posts is a huge number. Bitcointalk.org probably is a huge part of your life. The best part of your 10,000 posts is that some of them (or maybe a big part) are made during investigation and fighting scam Smiley That is something worth meriting or a medal.

Also I would like to point out, that these 10,000 probably are valuable to the community, and thanks God these 10,000 posts are not bounty reports Cheesy
Thank you, yes the forum from time to time plays an important part in my life. I am taking a step back from scams for a little and posting in other boards but will return and focus on scams soon.

That's a great milestone what I am most commending you is, on your being active in the scam section and your contribution, you will definitely reach a legend status in just a short period of time, you can easily get merits with all your expose, hope you can keep up exposing these scam proejcts.
Thank you for your feedback.

It has been a real privilege posting in the forum about scams while trying to help protect newbies and gullible people from getting scammed. I know I need to get more active in the scam accusation threads but I have deliberately taken a step back while I re-focus my attention before I starting to post there again.

Congratulations Jollygood has reached 10,000 post now. This is an extraordinary achievement. not easy to achieve it. 10,000 posts is just a number that can be achieved by anyone, but not with the quality and some of the contributions you make to this forum.

I'm also trying to reach 5000 posts, hopefully it can be quickly achieved.
Thank you, I hope you reach your milestones soon. The forum is an excellent place to express views and share ideas, I hope you and all other members keep up the good work by posting in a positive manner here.

10000 posts without wearing paid signature  Wink
Congratulations Jollygood for your milestone, you are quite active and it is clear what you are doing here, definitely not a waste of time.
you have often positively surprised me with your perseverance, in your fighting against fraudsters, it is to be expected that you will acquire "opponent", so you don’t need to be worried about that.
Thank you examplens, you were one of the first senior members here that left me positive trust and gave me confidence to participate in trying to expose scams and scammers. I appreciate that Smiley

I think the only signature campaign I ever applied for was for the ChipMixer and that was in 2020 but I was not selected but as you pointed out I made my 10,000+ posts without a signature or avatar campaign (paid or otherwise). I am looking to rent the avatar if the right deal came along though  Grin

Congratulations on achieving 10,000 extraordinary posts. in just 3 years you can reach 10,000 posts. You make many contributions to this forum and are always active in responding to various things and problems in this forum.

My first achievement was 1000 posts and then my second achievement was 2000 posts which will soon be reached.
Thank you for the feedback.

You will get there too and you will go on to other milestones I have no doubt. Wishing you success in your time spent throughout this forum.

Congrats on 10000 posts. I haven't gotten there myself, but I don't find many topics that interesting really. Keep up the posting, especially busting scammers.
Thank you, I appreciate the comments.

You are not far behind because you are on 7600+ posts yourself and like you said if you do not find certain threads interesting then you would have no reason to post. Until several months ago the bulk of my posting was in the scam accusation threads but I needed to move away and diversify to maximise the experience of the forum. I occasionally do post about scams but intend to make it a priority within the next month or so and will start exposing as many as possible.

21 votes in the poll so far

18 vote for Joshua
3 votes for Pulev

It looks like this fight might not even go ahead now. A two fight deal between Fury-Joshua has been brokered according to their promoter:

Thank you for the update. Whether it is related to "logins" or "trading" surely they have to send an email to you before they seize your balance. Did they not even send one to you yet?

~snip~

I'm guessing that "inactive" here is a reference to logins and not trading?
7007  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: June 10, 2020, 02:24:06 PM
The reason why foul mouthed user Vispilio has added people to his trust and distrust list is purely on the basis of political manoeuvring and nothing else.

For user Vispilio to state that equal low-life user hacker1001101001 deserves credit for posting nonsense about you or any other member, it clearly shows he should not be DT any time in the future.

There are several members that really should be nowhere near DT but they have played the system to have their way. It is something that should looked at higher up the chain to be honest.

~snip~

peloso - DT manipulator and abuser
mhanbostanci - abuser and account seller
wolwoo - scam supporter
Aqualun89 - ban evader
Tecshare - troll and shill

I wonder why account Vispilio trust these users judgement? This account has to be completely removed from DT!

7009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: June 10, 2020, 06:13:48 AM
Looking back what is clear is that they should have gone all out to try to roll out their XPOS two years ago when they just started courting positive publicity and were an attractive investment opportunity.

They lost the opportunity to get a massive foothold in the lucrative retail market back then and have been paying the price ever since. Do you think if today XPOS devices were rolled out across shops and malls would it be enough to save the project or would it be a matter of being too little too late?

Though I am not as enthusiastic on the outlook as you might be I respect your views. Having said that how do you think the project would have developed had they not diversified so much in to other aspects including the blockchain and phone and had instead just pushed rolling out their XPOS on a mass scale trying to strike up deals anywhere and everywhere just to roll out the XPOS devices?

I think had that happened it would have been a brilliant step towards being a top 20 crypto by market capital but the team let the project down badly.

No, it's not but it's something, right? We can never underestimate in crypto. Now I know going back up to old price is next to impossible but at least they are making an effort for pushing XPOS.

I think they would have been more successful if would have stayed with the old plan but what I liked about the FXchain and BoB is that it would allow us to act as a node. but right now their first priority should be to roll out as much XPOS as they can and burn some of those tokens to increase the demand.
7010  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [ POLL ] Who Will Be Democratic Party Presidential Nominee: Sanders or Biden ? on: June 10, 2020, 06:04:14 AM
Biden is the stand alone candidate for the Democratic Party.

If the elections go ahead in November 2020 then will Trump be known as a one term President? Will Biden manage to win?

Interesting battle between the incumbent Trump who is the oldest ever President of the USA (will be 74 years old after a week) and one of the oldest challengers for the post in Biden who will be 78 years old a couple of weeks after the 3rd November 2020 election.

Thank you, after reading your post I gave a pat on the back to my keyboard   Grin

I think I certainly have aged in the years I have been posting here, somewhere along the line I cannot believe it that I made 10,000+ posts but it has been a great experience getting to know many people and having a good time. It has been a wonderful learning process and long may it continue.

I hope to congratulate you on your 10,000th post one day too Smiley

I hope to contribute more constructively in future.
Congratulations for reaching this milestone. Undoubtedly it was a long journey for you and completing 10000 posts isn't so easy at all. Its a sign of patience, contribution and efforts from your side. You should give thanks to your "keyboard" too

For you 10000 post is a new achievement but for me it showing that you are getting old "Jolly" Smiley. Wish to see you more active in the upcoming days.

7012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: June 09, 2020, 08:30:46 PM
Point taken, after all when electricity costs alone would be a major concern to factor in when calculating any return of investment. For the experience sake though for those that want get a foot hold just to understand how mining rigs work it is an option however unlikely because as you said it makes more sense to buy instead of mining in most cases.

One thing that many people with rigs have to concede is the fact you have to be on alert almost all day long just in case something goes wrong and a reboot or something else is required. People probably do prefer to do something else with their time.

Yeah, I did that for a few years. It was worth it for the education alone though I was able to stack a reasonable stash from it. However, it was a time sink and running the numbers it made more sense to cash out and reinvest directly in coin. There's fiat cost as well as opportunity cost to consider. If it's something you enjoy as a hobby then sure go for it, but personally I've got other things I'd rather do with my time at this point. If the ROI for mining was significantly better than just buying directly that would be a different story.

That might be true but for an enthusiast to own a rig and change mining options switching from one crypto to another as and when feels appropriate to maximise income - it is not a bad idea too.

If you've got enough money to be able to invest in a mining rig you'll be better off just buying directly BTC and/or ETH.
7013  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Post Your Favorite Trump Memes Here on: June 09, 2020, 02:33:45 PM
Well the anti-racism demonstrations near the Whitehouse are simply getting bigger and bigger. It was sort of funny to hear how Trump has been evacuated from the Whitehouse in to a bunker just in case protesters came too close for comfort.

Trump has been saying some silly things about race relations and other things recently including shooting looters and it would not be the first time Trump has stoked controversy with his words. He will never learn and he just might have inadvertently ensured his misstep in this matter could lead to him being a one-term President.

Oh well....

7014  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: June 09, 2020, 02:13:26 PM
Yes what you say is true but users are reporting various issues with it because of screen size and ratio on their devices.

I am not sure whether using responsive websites over dedicated apps is always the best way forward. Maybe having dedicated Bustabit and Bustadice apps would be something devans would consider hiring a professional to create.

I'm occasional phone gambler since its quite not fun playing in smaller screen and the same as you I'm dismay when miss clicking especially when my hands is sweating, But there are games are suitable for me by using phone and that is sports betting but in this kind of game especially with bustabit I'm make sure that I'm in focus to not miss something since I don't want to lose something big for simple negligence.

Responsive can be enough if done properly.  Smiley
7015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: June 09, 2020, 02:06:48 PM
I concur, I stated many times the team digressed on to their other plans and took their focus off the one thing that was a win-win for them and their investors - XPOS devices.

The project will never be able to recover from what happened when they did not maximise their potential with the XPOS devices and any deals they could have made with retail outlets across the world. They spent phenomenal amounts of money on development of their chain and phone and whatever else when that money spent brought them next to nothing in return or reputation.

The same team that made this project once have a market capital of $373 million in July 2018 have overseen a disaster that now sees it teetering on the edge of collapse at 1 or 2 sats and at just $22 million in March 2020 and at $35 million today.

I do not trust the team at all because their mismanagement has destroyed this once great project.

After the token split. I held lots of pundix tokens. They were close to 4 Million NPXS trust me the airdrop was so generous and predictable. Given the price of the token at that time, it was so tempting to trade off some or all NPXS for profit and then wait towards end of the month probably 28th or 29th and then buy more NPXS just for the airdrop snapshot only to sell of on the 1st of the new month for profits and cycle continued

This would have been avoided by a random monthly snapshot right from the beginning. The team looked so naive and the people they hired to be their advisors definitely did not do their work.

Pundix team also messed up with the development and distribution of the Xpos devices and instead started focusing their attention on function x and other crap stuff.

7017  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥BITSLER > $10,000 DAILY Wagering contest < REFUND plan for Betking's players on: June 09, 2020, 01:02:07 PM
One of the reasons those ex-betking victims would leave after signing up at Bitsler is simply because up to 250 of them would receive up $200 each.

There is no public record about who was or was not a game player at betking before it was closed down after serial scammer Dean Nolan stole the bankroll funds then blamed it on an imaginary hack. Bitsler is effectively giving $200 to any new user signing up via a specific affiliate link that is provided by serial scammer Dean Nolan. There is no way to ascertain how many of those up to 250 new sign ups via betking affiliate links are real victims of the betking scam and how many are fake accounts created by serial scammer Dean Nolan to pocket the cash for himself.

If the one who is responsible for stealing bankroll funds resulting in the closing down his own website and blaming it on an imaginary hack, how can the same thief be trusted to point out who should receive $200 each up to 250 people. Something is not right with that scenario.

Of course some of them have stayed loyal using the Bitsler.com but it is obviously not a perfect stat at 100%. If they are gamblers, they will keep gambling and I don't see why they should leave Bitsler which gave them $200 after the exit of Betking. If there are casinos for them to gamble, after the terrible losses on Betking, Bitsler should be one of their first priorities.

For the precisely statistics on this, only Bitsler team or only Baryom has it. In my opinion, it is kinda private statistic and I am not sure that Baryom is readily to share it publicly for all.

After you gave up and walked away did you ever recover your funds at a later date?

If you refused to comply to their add-on ToS what would happen to those 0.012 BTC funds? Would they distribute it to a charitable cause which can be traced/proven or would they simply let it sit in limbo?

I had a similar experience with a smaller amount (0.012 BTC), they refused to let me withdraw that unless I provided the necessary documents. I ended up giving up on the account and switching to Kucoin/Binance.

If they requested a second identification document, try to provide it. Don't you have IDs in your country? Try to make one and send it to them. If you fail to provide what they're requesting, your account will remain locked.
