7001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Excuses on: January 23, 2017, 02:37:55 AM
well I think it was just insane to use others money to gamble and hope it will be used to pay for debts, It was really depressing if you already lost your own money but if you lose someone else money It will be too depressing that you might even think to commit suicide better spent it on something more profitable than gambling
That's really quite stressful. Using someone's money just to pleasure yourself in gambling won't do any good. This will make your life miserable especially if you lose this money might hang yourself in the ceiling. Just kidding.

If you have health, you can win up everything again, I lost a lot of money, but when I worked again and again, I always looked positive.
Common way to get back is to gamble again but most of us failed and again we accumulated bigger loses now. If we lose, we have to move on and we have to evaluate how we perform and if we are not really good in gambling we have to let go of it. While you are still alive, you have  a chance to win back your loses but never do it in gambling, you can do in different ventures that you think you have a better chance to succeed.
7002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What type of sports you love in sports betting and why? on: January 23, 2017, 02:22:11 AM
I most likely gamble on football because there's many games can be played and there's different things you can bet on but sometimes i like to have my bets on Bastketball specialy the NBA also some hookey game in the NHL it's nice to mix up some games in one parlay.
Well, that's good, you have a lot of sports you like to play, you will really have fun doing it for sure. I like different sports as well, but now I realize that I have to focus on one sports to be an effective sports handicapper. Playing different sports is good if you are having fun only but if you are after of the profit, doing limited sports betting is advisable.
7003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: January 22, 2017, 03:10:22 PM
Then it will not be a problem to gamble if money will not be a problem. You can see a number of rich gamblers in casinos they have their income sources as their business but they still gamble with some of their money and they gamble for their fun.

Or maybe to kill boredom Cheesy
What I can say is they have a very expensive way of killing boredom, that's how rich does, they work to make themselves rich so they have the right to waste it and we might be seeing them as they are wasting but we do not know how valuable the entertainment factor they were able to get from gambling.
7004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling get you into Bitcoin or did Bitcoin get you into gambling? on: January 22, 2017, 02:51:01 PM
None of the above. I join Bitcoin because I found that Bitcoin provides many advantages and benefits to its users. Before knowing about Bitcoin, I do not know the existence of online casinos. It took me about 2 months before I started make my first gamble with Bitcoin
I also took around two months to study about what is Bitcoin and how it works. I just heard this bitcoin word from someone, and the price of the bitcoin made me enter this online gambling world. I never played online gambling through fiat currency. But when I got my first bitcoins in my wallet I started to play online gambling. For me, the bitcoin get me into gambling.
Hopefully you have explored more in the present, it's not good to just focus in gambling since there's plenty of things we can do with out bitcoin. One of them is investing it which I believe what we should do by now, since we are in the early stage and we have to take advantage on that opportunity.

I know bitcoin because I want to gamble and I am looking for an easy way.

Fortunately, while I was looking at the internet, it should be the way, and here I am now, enjoying it but not only in gambling.
7005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Goal to 100 BTC before the end of 2017 - Public LOG. on: January 22, 2017, 02:25:18 PM
Lol FUCK MY LIFE I got a fucking TRJOAN ON MY PC OR SOME SHIT I just got on and saw 1.7 BTC MOVED OUT

FUCK
WTF Huh What happened? Did you download some junk programs or what? Can not believe in my eye? Have you turned off you PC yet? Oh my gods @@ That is a huge amount of Bitcoin. I am really sorry to hear that...
Probaly your PC is less cheaper than what you lost, if you can only turn back time then you should exercise cautious all the time. Shit happens, just accept it and move on. It's only 1.7 BTC, you could make more  if you will continue, just think that you lose it in gambling.

Hope my advice helps. Angry
7006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: January 22, 2017, 02:13:33 PM
This can be a very tricky question to answer.
Yes and no with gambling you have some idea what your up against.
In trading well it can be emotionally driven or be powered by speculative investment in things.
Which if they get scared well you could lose a lot of money ive seen it happen many times.

Well it can be said easily with, it depends on the person who is trading.  If the person is trading blindly, meaning that person does not have any knowledge about trading at all then it is considered as gamble.  He is betting on his luck in buying random stocks and wish it increase in price.

You got that right dude. Successful trading would require time and effort from the person trading in order to make the right decision. This comes normally now for experienced traders and I think for these types of traders, trading is far from gambling. Through experience and proper research, the similarity of trading to gambling becomes minimized as the longer you trade, the more you understand how it works and the more you can formulate better strategies for a more secure earning
It's required to make money and not only in trading, thus, the term easy money does not happen in trading but more like in gambling. With luck alone, you cannot stand a chance to be successful here, it's all about being smart and how you manage your time to perform trading effectively.
7007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your gambling strategy on: January 22, 2017, 01:47:03 PM

Recently I came up with this strategy in dice: play 9x and double your bet after every 3 losses in a row.

Even if you do so, I dont think that you are going to win either. You might win in the short run and getting some money however in the end if you continue to use this strategy then there is no doubt that you are going to lose . The best strategy would still be betting 2x at standard 49.5 % chance to win and hope everything turns out good
Flat betting is the most popular way of betting, it will not make you busted easy but you need to be lucky to win. Martingale will only make you greedy and will probably destroy your game plan, the cold streak is very disappointing, I stopped using it in dice due to bad experience.
7008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: January 22, 2017, 01:37:38 PM
For me, banks will not disappear. Bitcoin is good and somehow it is very helpful. But the thing that bitcoin is bad is that there are some who earn only by gambling. They are only wasting their Bitcoin. And banks will not disappear because we all know that banks are very trusful and safe.
Probably if others have the same thinking as yours, they will not consider bitcoin as a serious development for humanity, you have a very limited knowledge about bitcoin, I suggest you do more research as little knowledge is very dangerous. If you have been gambling, for sure you will know that you can do it even without bitcoin, having said that, bitcoin is not entirely made for gambling purposes.
7009  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: January 22, 2017, 12:39:34 PM
I think no I preferred using fiat money ir paper money for may daily lives because if you will replace paper money with bitcoins how will vendors work? How will beggar can obtaine money from begging? So it is beyond impossible to replace paper money with bitcoins although I preferred bitcoin in online transaction but in over all I will go fir paper money because it something you can keep.
It's not impossible if time will come that bitcoin will replace paper money, but that time then, the beggars are more advance. lol..

But seriously, are you really that concern about the beggars that it's one of the factors you considered as hindrance why paper money should not be replace? Actually, my prediction is it will not happen that bitcoin will replace paper money, however, we do not foreseen nor hold the future, anything can happen and that include the possibilities on the aforementioned.
7010  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: January 22, 2017, 12:23:49 PM
Bitcoin  would still popular even though it has stable price if its stability will just take for about 2-3 weeks. Its price would not stable for a year since it is always depends on the situation and users, meaning on the demand and supply that would dictate its price.
It's not the stable price that is what people is looking, they want to see the continues progress of bitcoin and with that, they are confident of using bitcoin. The price might or may not be stable, it depends on who people would accept bitcoin in the future. Anyway, I have to say that the current price movement is best for me.
7011  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: January 22, 2017, 11:28:58 AM
Does anyone here think of investing with altcoin? IMO, maybe a short-term investment
with altcoin during the ICO it is the best investment at this time. We know, after the ICO ended,
usually the coin price would go up 2 x. It was very profitable to us.

It would go 2x in price but not right after the ICO ended. After the ICO ended, the campaign participants usually just dump all their coins because they don't really care about these trading. They just want to get their bounties in bitcoins form so they can cash it out.

Usually it takes a month or two before even an ICO can go back to its ICO price. One example of a recent ICO that hasn't come back to it's ICO price yet is VSL or vDice. They have so much participants in the bounties so their coins was dumped really hard and up to now, they're just halfway to their ICO price. It's not a promising market and this is usually the scenario when the devs don't do much improvement, tbh. But we don't know what'll happen in the coming months.
The first week after being listed in an exchange site is very important, if people are dumping, it's not good to see and not all investors know that it is all coming from bounties. Thus, there's no approach being made by legitimate project now, some of them paid in tokens at the start and later paid all bounties in BTC. It's a good approach and I think more effective.
7012  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How is trading *not* gambling? on: January 22, 2017, 11:16:04 AM
Well, the definition of trading is not gambling, therefore you need to do what is required to have a successful trading. You are gambling if you are not making necessary things that are required in trading, educating yourself is very important, you have to know first what asset are you trading and you study well to have a better analysis.
7013  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [helping thread]Tanong mo sagot ko on: January 21, 2017, 01:02:08 PM

That's why you focus on trading. And by the way, why are you commenting based on gambling when you quoted a statement from Coin_trader about trading with Trump coin? FYI, It's an altcoins and I see that first in yobit but I do not like it back then, it's full of hype.

7015  Economy / Economics / Re: What will be our new world currency? on: January 21, 2017, 07:24:26 AM
I wish that bitcoin will be the new world currency, but so much people in this world still didnt know about coin.
Not all item can be paid with bitcoin nowadays, but USD can be used for all payment. People already trust USD and its hard habit to change.
Maybe USD still and will be the world currency for another 3 decades.
The new world will exist when the current world will be destroyed, no matter what we do as long as there is a government that control the world, fiat is the main money that we will be using. When bitcoin was not discovered, we are already using it and there's no problem with it for any transaction, may it be online or actual physical exchange. That's how strong fiat system is, it cannot be easy replace.
7016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: January 21, 2017, 07:10:23 AM
If I were to have that opinion, I must conclude that banks would not be disappeared because you cannot cash out or handle your converted btc to fiat without the banks. Many people entrusted their fiat savings to the bank and there is no reason for people to withdraw their savings just for bitcoin, and most importantly bank is the gateway for bitcoin to prosper in the future because you can save your converted bitcoin into fiat savings.
Banks is what we need to make bitcoin prosper, we all started without bitcoin, some work for it but most of us buy it in exchange for our fiat. The moment we have our bitcoins, we either spend it or invest it, afterwards when we have an income and then cash out, we still need bank to withdraw our fiat. You see, it's a cycle, we need bank but bank does not need bitcoin.
7017  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: January 21, 2017, 06:44:07 AM
It is possible money laundering can be easily done even a normal peroson can do it. Laundering bitcoin now a days is ordinary, but im not saying that all of them was ilegal. Some of them are altcoins which you can convert to bitcoins. Some people uses it as the trading system.

This is happening because of no regulations in the online business industry and what's worse is that people do think that what are they doing is not illegal. Scamming is rampant in this field and i guess until now only those big scams was been on court
From the words itself, "money laundering", it's already considered as illegal activities. If you could make a research, it would be more helpful for you guys to understand. The thing is, ignorance of the law excuses no one, so if ever you are doing it now and you are not caught, expect in the future you will pay.
7018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: has any casino ever been hacked losing a lot of money? on: January 21, 2017, 05:47:01 AM
There was some news in the past that certain investors losses their money in gambling sites because it was hack, so it is true that gambling sites can be hack. If big exchanges can be hack and they have more advance security, how much more an online gambling sites?
7019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: January 21, 2017, 05:38:37 AM
Maybe because people are tired to see another MVP award to Westbrook, with this line up, he will be limited with minutes and I don't think he can do what he did in the past all star. Maybe this time, if the East will win, we will see James Harden as MVP. I'm sure this guy is hungry for that award and will do his best to get it and win the team.

What are you talking about? Harden is not in the East. you can't see a player getting MVP award without winning the match. People are dumb enough to put Curry over Westbrook and Harden. Curry should be dropped out of starting five, but it's a popularity contest and Warriors bandwagons are raised in last 2 years. Anyway, Westbrook will show his anger, passion and ambition in the game.

Ever since Durant came to GSW he overtook the lead role and Curry became more of a support cast, but he's still superstar material anyway.

I wonder if he'll shine in the playoffs still.

Honestly he basically gave Warriors key to Durant, both lost a lot of respect for many fans and players around the league in my opinion. I don't see Curry taking over in the playoffs because he never did, not even when they won the championship against a decimated Cavs team. That time it was Iguodala who stepped up.

I honestly doubt the Warriors reach the Finals this year, I think San Antonio, LA Clippers, Memphis and Houston could beat them in a 7 game series, surpassing what OKC almost did last year.
That's easy to say mate, you can see how they dismantled the Rockets now and the Cavaliers in the past game. Only Memphis has beat them twice in this season but they will adjust, the last game against Memphis was a miracle comeback from the road team. I know it's a different ball game once it reach in the playoffs, but you cannot underestimate what the warriors have done lately.
7020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Attraction on: January 21, 2017, 03:46:39 AM
I have no boss or overlord looking down on me and breathing on my neck when I'm turning my money into bitcoins and basically there is no one telling me what I can and can not do, I'm limitless with BTCitcoin.
Basically that's the main reason why I prefer investment that being a worker all my life. It's the complete freedom that we can get with bitcoin, there's no need to please other people as our actions will reflect on ourselves. If we do good, we will rip the benefits alone and we do not need to share it with other people.
