7001  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Increased Number of Scammers on: October 03, 2018, 11:53:57 AM
Due to the increased popularity of cryptocurrencies, there has been an increased number of scammers both in terms of ICOs and in social media. You would find "official" representatives that would "propose lucrative deals" in the name of the legit company. There is only one result as a consequence - you losing your assets.
Thus, always keep in mind that real official channels of communications work. Also, if you see those posts in social media promising returns without a legit background (a.k.a. a full-blown platform) is a sure way to lose money. Creating bots on Facebook, Twitter, and Telegram is quite easy these days. Make sure not to repeat mistakes that others made before you https://www.cryptocointrade.com/
Not to mention mining pools and app scams going on right now. Some of the Facebook groups that were excellent in terms of trading discussions now turned into scam marketing sites.

You can prevent being a victim by checking this good discussions about scam sites and links try to check this valuable threads that might help people out

7002  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which strategy do you have for taking profits? on: October 03, 2018, 11:44:20 AM

Well ico investments so far wasn’t in my strategy so far as most of them are scammers

But what i am doing is holding the 50% of my folios daytrading my 20% ,and reserved the 30% for possible buying again if bitcoin dumps at below $6,000 again
7003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop comparing ETH with BTC!!!!!!!! on: October 03, 2018, 11:34:52 AM
Since I joined the cryptocurrency world and even this forum I have seen something that people always do that I think its not the right way. People always compaire ETH with BTC telling us that ETH is the best cryptocurrency. I really doubt that because looking at these two coins, although they are all blockchain based currencies but to me BTC is doing far better than ETH. BTC was created before ETH but look at the performances and judge it yourself. I really do not want to talk much about this issue. Guys what do think about what I am arguing about?

Lol this is a million years issue and as i believe theres no topic created nowadays regarding comparison of these two coins, and how can you expect about the battle when ripple now is entering the competition?

So you’re arguing about nothing today.better check the market first before crying about something who does not exist anymore
7004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 10 years anniversary, what good news are you expecting come 2019?. on: October 03, 2018, 11:22:45 AM
LOl if this is my parents anniversary maybe i would expect more good things for celebrating but since this is crypto and will always rely on our part as an investors, better we create what maybe the celebration might bring.

But expecting growth since this is 10 years older? No i dont because for sure we can feel the changes again in 2020 and not this 2018-2019
7005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Change Your Mind About Bitcoin on: October 03, 2018, 11:14:49 AM
Bitcoin has alot of advantages and benefits but it doesn’t mean that it has no bad parts. Yes, people use it for financing the illegal things, some people use it for financing the crime. We can’t deny. I think we should see the whole picture. And we should accept it with all good and bad parts. I think its benefits more than the bad parts of it.

Thats the right term to use, accepting the whole process in which the majority would be the goodness

Everything thing that matters financially has two faces and thats the good aspect and the bad but the important is what this can bring to the world and the contribution for humanity, this technology is advance and created for the people to enjoy not to suffer
7006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be stronger this time on: October 03, 2018, 10:54:23 AM
I never lost my sympathy and trust in bitcoin instead i become more motivated as the price goes down so i can purchase more And simply waits for the time to sell them all together, and i am confident about my holdings .trust is very important in cryptocurrency and if you dont have this then better quit here because you may have a heart attack because of volatility
7007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Ways to Avoid Bitcoin Scams on: October 03, 2018, 09:51:27 AM
This post is really good and will benefit the crypto currency investors. Moreover there is no chance to do scam in bitcoin so such technics should be applied when investing in a new project or altcoins. Bitcoin is reliable and reputed.

Its not the bitcoin that will scam noob, but the people who is longing for bitcoin from the people who holds bitcoin.

But this is such a great post to help each and everyone to prevent ourselves from becoming a victim of scammers as we know that they are everywhere in this community that only waiting for a right chances
7008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To hell with regulations and government interference on: October 03, 2018, 09:40:46 AM
I completely agreed on this i am always a haters of KyC and that ETF Since cryptocurrency community can stand without this and this are only form of hindrances to manipulate the market and ofcourse the community..we can prove the world that we can make the universe change if they will only give us a chance to prove this
7009  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrity Bitcoin owners? on: October 02, 2018, 02:13:26 PM
I will be happy to know whos are celebrity’s that holds bitcoins or even support this top one coin but sadly they prefer maybe to stay hiding since cryptocurrency is not yet adapted worldwide so they want not to reveal their personality.but i am sure that many of celebrities are owning this great coin
7010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can the world really go digital with crypto? on: October 02, 2018, 01:42:01 PM
Imagine, looking at gge current dip we are facing, can we say the world is already getting tired of blockchain innovation? I hope not. I know we have got a long way to go.

World is almost digital now, look at all the appliances in your house and offices or in any establishments isn’t it all are digitally operational?Only fews remains manual so what do you think hindering cryptocurrency from taking over the community..even payments and all transactions now can be done using digital currency so what i am seeing here is a totally digitalization of the whole world soon
7011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to find the best Bounty Campaigns on: October 02, 2018, 01:31:49 PM
For a while I would participate in bounties from BitcoinTalk.org, but then I started using BountyPlatform.io.  I have yet to get paid one bounty from them, so I started looking back on the site here, but I'm not seeing many.  Did they move them to another category? TIA for any help.

7012  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why did you have faith in btc? on: October 02, 2018, 01:24:29 PM
Seeing btc going down for quite some time now, I thought people will be withdrawing their investment to shares and others business. But it amaze that btc is gaining more popularity and people are still rushing btc. What is the secret behind btc?

How noob questions fo you have in mind dude?Being a pioneering cryptocurrency is enough reason for us to trust and have faith in this number one currency and for almost 9 years of existence bitcoin has proven its worth and value, and how helpful he was for all bitcoiners.not to mention the benefits this may give in future as the process prolonged for all who supports crypto community
7013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Or Trading? on: October 02, 2018, 01:04:03 PM
Both are a different section. Bounty is for a starter or newcomer in the crypto. Most of the people choose bounty first when they enter in the crypto world! After getting several bounty payments, people become traders, holders or ICO investors! Personally, I think trading is better than bounty, but everyone can't do trade but everyone can participate in the bounty campaigns. It is the fact!
It depend on what can you offer in bounty, because a project advertisement offers not only signature campaign in which i am pretty sure is your skill in bounty hunting

But theres alot of skills or services that developers wanted from the participants, just like blog creations, social media jobs ,video editing and many more that can pay you bigger compared to signature campaigns
7014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum back at number two on: October 02, 2018, 12:50:57 PM
according to my monitoring this time, I always see that ethereum is always number 2 in the order, and now it is still number 2, I don't understand where the sequence was obtained.
as I saw on the following website: https://www.coinranker.net/cryptocurrency/ethereum

Thats a different thing as most of crypto news are relying on coinmarketcap

https://coinmarketcap.com/

From there ethereum has been surpassed by ripple twice in September, and still remains close in rankings,i dont know whats happening but it looks like theres a rivalry that is going against this teo coins
7015  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you stomach the dips? on: October 01, 2018, 04:07:49 PM
How do you deal with 20% plus drops. Do you try to sell at the top and buy back in? are you a hold on for dear lifer?

AS of this time, its not only 20% instead more than a hundred percent or even higher depending to what coins we are referring.but i can still manage to keep patience and I don’t need to stomached the dip, instead i am bearing with thiss and lucky i can make some profits even with this kind of market
7016  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe to trade on bitmex??? on: October 01, 2018, 03:50:35 PM
Is it safe to trade on bitmex?

1) I have experienced most of the times that the liquidation occurs very often and this rises a question if bitmex is real or fake. The second reason is whenever the market is down or hitting low prices the drop in bitmex is very huge compared to other exchange. This points really rises a doubt in my mind regarding the reliability on bitmex. Roll Eyes

2) I am not sure if trading bots on bitmex are real or not. Huh

Lots of issues rises on your part so why still longing for this exchange when theres alot of choices you might have?leave bitmex and go to more successful, safer and popular exchangers .

Try to find local exchangers and bring your funds there, actually you dont need advices because it seems like you are a good trader and a knowledgeable person
7017  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My luck is very bad for crypto trading 😞 on: October 01, 2018, 03:42:18 PM
I also have bad experience yesterday,  i bought XRP afew week ago with the price 0.33 USDT and after that the price dump to 0.26 USDT and i have to wait about 3 week to recover that loss by sold XRP by price 0.33, but after sold it, the price going up more others 60% , so i miss big profit.  Lesson learned, should be i use stop limit order so i will not miss that big profit.

Eow you and OP has been both missed the good chance by not having a proper set up for trading, when OP don’t remember putting selling limits so when the price reached the price it automatically sold the coins, while you have forgotten to put the stop loss limit for safety trading.better you both have exchanged ideas to become botj good traders
7018  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your greatest trading regret? on: October 01, 2018, 02:42:07 PM
Well so far my biggest regrets in trading is when my three tokens got pumped and i keep waiting to grow, the first two tokens grows upto 200% and yet i close my eyes and wait to grow higher but not until i open my eyes and found out it was dumped to more than half of its original price, then my third token pumped this few months ago,but my cousin told me that it will be going to a big exchange so we hold our tokens just to find out that it will become almost dead
7019  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk or Altcointalks? on: October 01, 2018, 02:29:18 PM
Then go leave and stay on altcointalks. there's no need to compare them if your concerned is just account recovery, lol. I thought you are more on the discussions about crypto but I'm sure that since are stating about account recovery then you're not interested on the technology whether bitcoin or alt coin because it seems you are a bounty whore anyways.

Perfect dude, thats the right term to use a BOUNTY WHORE ,this stupid butthead is a paid worker to encourage bitcoiners to go and transfer in their site things that actually not a problem since Bitcoin and altcoins are two different thing, and i see no issues why needed them to be compared so maybe better go back tp your altcointalks and tell you sad story here in bitcointalks and maybe from them sympathize will be yours as for sure you wont gt it from us here
7020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the Unsold Tokens? on: October 01, 2018, 11:39:50 AM
Hi,

I've been reading about the strategy ICOs use for unsold tokens in case they do not reach their hard cap.

As far as I understand, there are a few options to be used for this scenario.

1) Unsold tokens are burned - the most common option used by ICOs. If tokens are burnt, token holders share will increase, therefore its price.

2) Unsold tokens are not burned - founders keep them. It's not a good option at the eyes of the token holders. It can be used as a personal interest.

3) Unsold tokens are airdropped - A few ICOs (eg. FundFantasy) used this strategy. As far as they see it, the token price will be decreased but will be readjusted because people will use it.

I'm not aware of any more alternatives to those three. What are your thoughts? Would you use option 1 or go for the other two options? Would you come up with another possibility?

Thank you very much.

All of those are the best options to how the tokens treated after the ico,and that would benefits both investors and bounty hunters, and ofcourse the developers

Maybe the only thing to consider is how the company decide about these excess tokens because even how we wanted what to do,but if the owner don’t agree still they will the one to decide
