Use this rotator. It has a lot of faucets on it, keeps up with their cooldowns for you, and lets you skip from one to the next without having to keep going to new URLs.
7022  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Free Faucets with Payment proof on: May 16, 2014, 06:51:28 AM
You can also use the rotator. All faucets on there pay (most through microwallet or another service).
7023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it smart to make a Bitcoin Faucet on: May 16, 2014, 06:49:30 AM
I have made a dogecoin and a tacocoin faucet, and I'm thinking of making a bitcoin one.

What I am worried about is:

1) Tx Fees making it too expensive,

2) Bitcoin is much bigger, which means I am a much larger target to hackers, and it will cost more to keep funded.

Whats you view?

If you want to run a Bitcoin faucet, don't expect to get rich off it. And if you don't want to be targeted by hackers, hold a small amount of coin.

If you're worried about transaction fees, use a service like microwallet (I don't know exactly how it works but a lot of faucets use them).
7024  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin faucets on: May 16, 2014, 06:47:36 AM
The best way to hit up faucets is with the faucet rotator. It handles BTC, KARM, DOGE and MINT at the moment and cycles through them for you and keeps up with their timers so you don't have to. All you need is that single link, Smiley.
7025  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Earning Bitcoins on: May 16, 2014, 06:46:34 AM
Get a job, and buy bitcoin. I haven't seen a more cost effective way to be honest. If you were to start mining you'd make a loss

Why do you think so?

If you are referring to the second part, I am afraid he is right that it is not profitable to buy equipment or cloud mining hashrate now.

If you are referring to the first part, IMO, the most cost effective way to earn bitcoin is to get a job that you will be paid in bitcoin lol. Smiley
Forget about all those faucets, it won't worth your time.

The mining part is false. Mining Bitcoin directly wouldn't be profitable (although the S2 appears to break even after less than 3 months, even with increases in difficulty), but you can mine altcoins and convert them.
7026  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Low risk steady returns investment fund idea on: May 16, 2014, 06:45:35 AM
First you need to create other accounts and then loan yourself larger and larger sums of money to gain trust.

This post caught me completely off guard. Touche!

And @OP, you will have to provide a lot of transparency and show proof of your past (recent past as well). Not just short-term but long-term. Anyone can make a lot in a day or a week. Keeping that consistency for months or years is more difficult.
7027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MINT]Mintcoin V1.9.1, Energy Saving Coin *27 Exchanges *57 Merchants on: May 16, 2014, 06:41:13 AM
.
As someone that's been using faucets to obtain Mintcoin but hasn't actually gotten involved yet... someone sell me on it. Why should one make the move? Why this coin? Smiley.
why this coin? of the top of my head

1. pos rate is awesome 20% a year right now cant complain bout that( you could live of you're pos rate if price was high or if you have a lot of coins)
2. 50+ merchants + a lot of exchanges
3. we have hit our floor, price should jump soon
4. mintcoin has a positive and a very helpful active community
5. the mintcoin community donates coins to various charity's
6. mintcoin is young, its still a baby it has so much time to grow and improve (android wallet soon Grin)
7. the devs are great they are working on new things for the coin as we speak
8. very fast transactions. this is massive, if a coin can be transferred fast and securely then there is no limit as to how far the coin can go.
9. NO MINING!!! NO HIGH POWER BILL!!!

+ alot more make the right choice, mint your future!

Thanks for your input!

Anyone happen to have any writing/editing/proofreading/etc. jobs that pay out in MINT? :p

My goodness... Such a high hashrate for that price?
Ugggh... It's like FPGA's getting crushed by ASIC's again lol
My 1mh/s is going to be around 1000x less profitable by the time these things are in customer hands
Goodness gracious

It is but luckily there are other algorithms you can use at that point (or even now) that don't have ASICs yet. So really it's a win for everyone.
7029  Economy / Services / Re: WE PAY FOR SIGNATURE MORE. UP TO 0.0014 BTCs PER POST. WEEKLY PAYOUTS. on: May 16, 2014, 06:20:56 AM
Oh well if we are talking about rates and money of this campaign I will calculate it for every member level:

Right now 1 BTC is worth 445 US Dollars, that means:

Hero members will receive: 0.0014BTC  = 0.62 USD
Senior:    0.0012BTC  = 0.53 USD
Full:        0.0008BTC  = 0.35 USD
Members: 0.0006BTC =   0.26 USD

And now with that I have no idea why you quoted me when you were talking about the amounts earlier. Just to show that I was right, or? You tried to contradict me by basically saying exactly what I did.
7030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: May 16, 2014, 05:37:53 AM
Martingale is the fastest way to lost all your money

Technically it can be a slow way to lose it (I've had the martingale work for 36+ hours before finally crashing), so that's not entirely true, :p.

If you are betting in roulete lets say, only red, i have 1 btc and my bets are 0.05... if there are lets say, 10 blacks in a row.. i would had only lost .5, but if i were martingaling.. 0.05 - 0.1 - 0.2 - 0.4 - 0.8 ..  Grin at the five black im completely knocked out.. you can understand this example..

Oh, I got that part. I just meant that in theory it would take hours to end up at a loss (assuming you accounted for, say 16 losses in a row worth of funds).
7031  Economy / Services / Re: WE PAY FOR SIGNATURE MORE. UP TO 0.0014 BTCs PER POST. WEEKLY PAYOUTS. on: May 16, 2014, 05:36:20 AM
This seems to pay insanely well.  Almost a dollar per post?  Crazy to think of the possibilities bitcoin is bringing with easy payment methods for services.  Great for businesses and great for the people needing extra money wanting to help start-ups.

Hope everyone is benefiting.  I'm going to read the fine print in the OP and make sure this is for me.  Talk to you soon about this opportunity, thanks again.

Where did you come up with almost a dollar per post? It pays less than half that (or around half that, if you're a Hero member already).

Now 1 BTC is worth about 445 Dollars. If you would be given 0.0014 for post it is exactly 0.62 USD to be exact. So not less than half for sure.

Oh, I apologize. I thought that as a Sr. Member, he wasn't a Hero Member. Clearly I need to re-learn the member types. TIL Sr. Member = Hero Member.

I have tried a few times to put images on this site IT WONT LET me!   Sorry if you want to see me you can see me on minerdirect.org
right here  http://minerdirect.org/index.php?topic=276.msg1425#msg1425

This is what happens when I post my pictures here

Maybe cause I am so new also it only lets me post or message once every 6 minutes!

No I don't google hangout sorry I skype.

If you can't figure out how to post images here you are pretty random girl to me. And you are trying to appeal to bitcoin crowd? It is common knowledge, kids in elementary school can host image and the link it. You are 24 and you could not do it? Really?

Just type in google 'host image' pick any hosting site you like, upload your photo there, copy that picture url and voila. Please don't be ridiculous.
Well you and every little kid out there may just go around putting pictures of yourself that you don't want your friends and family to see on the first site google feeds you. But I put them on that site because I don't want to have the whole world seeing them forever. If I wanted my family to know I was doing this I would have put my facebook in the first post of this topic.

Regardless I could care less if you see me or not, Happy trolling!

As for the rest of the guys out there if any of you have seen me, Anyone going to stand up for me?

You obviously don't know how internet works. Everything you put online stays there forever. It does not matter if it is facebook or some random  picture hosting site. Your pictures are already compromised anyway.

This. And people are using phone apps now for temporary pictures that are "deleted" after a few seconds of being open on the other phone, and people already found ways to copy those images before they get wiped as well. If it's posted online, in any way, someone's already snagged it.

I'd like to vouch for the quality of Ranlo's articles. This guy writes top notch material and it is always completely grammar/spelling error free. Probably one of the best, if not the best, educated writer on these forums.

Thanks for taking the time for the recommendation!

I'm a bit confused about ship dates here. When is the 90M scrypt miner supposed to be shipped out if we order today?
7037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: May 16, 2014, 03:54:51 AM
martingale works 100% if you have infinite money

Martingale doesn't work at all.  It doesn't matter how much you start with or how small your base bet is.  The odds are with the house no matter how much you bet.  And it's even worse because you're doubling your bet when you lose.  Doubling your bet in a game where the house has an edge can never be a winning strategy.

Not to mention even with infinite funds, at some point it would hit billions of failures in a row. So the idea that it works "100%," regardless of the number, is false.

Can I take Gweedo's job and help verify? Tongue

Get in line LMAO Tongue But honestly we need people like you to keep questioning if she is real, maybe she will fly to NY and I can verify her in real life it gets lonely and cold in the basement Wink LMAOOOOOOO

I'll join you in the basement and keep you warm. But you have to choose one of two packages:

The Spoiled Richness: You have to pay ridiculously well. I'll only be the girl if you make it worth doing.

or:

The #nohomo: You must allow me to record both of us saying #nohomo, prior, to ensure we're both straight afterwards.

I am good with my own package LOL This went to a creepy area LMAO
