7021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Belacoin - Supercharging entrepreneurship with the power of the blockchain on: June 22, 2017, 11:24:15 PM
Is the belacam beta version open to the public now?

I did not find any apps for it

Mobile apps will be ready at full release of belacam. Now we have mobile friendly website at https://www.belacam.com/

Yes the site works OK on a mobile
but I expect the new version when
released will have all the extra features
including direct posting from a mobile device!

7026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More good news for litecoin on: June 21, 2017, 08:27:47 AM
LTC is long term investment, it is not for day traders who expects daily changes and pumps..Ltc just rising natural and very slow with sporadic corrections of price, forget idea that you will buy LTC for 10$ ever again..

A few years back, I had purchased LTC for BTC0.03 per coin. The prices went up for a while, touching BTC0.05 per coin after a few months. But after that, it has been a steady fall. I remember selling the coins for BTC0.008 apiece. And after that, it went down even further, touching BTC0.004 per coin. Those who invested in LTC for long-term might have lost a lot of their initial investment.

Well I had a good few LTC which I bought in January '17
for under $4 and liquidated them in early May when the
price hit the high $20's . . .

More patience needed  Roll Eyes
7027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Belacoin - Supercharging entrepreneurship with the power of the blockchain on: June 20, 2017, 10:17:49 PM
yes I know that, I was more interested in what advantages
one wallet has over the other for storing "Belacoin"

7028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Belacoin - Supercharging entrepreneurship with the power of the blockchain on: June 20, 2017, 09:52:15 PM
This is interesting,

I have downloaded the Belacoin wallet 1.1.0.0 and is installed
and syncing perfectly, I also have the Coinomi desktop wallet
downloaded and installed but I am not currently using it.

Is there an advantage with one over the other?
7029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex problem on: June 20, 2017, 09:44:24 PM
I noticed today on Bittrex that my ethereum wallet was in MAINTENANCE
mode, would that possibly have anything to do with the congestion?
7030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is too damn funny ;D on: June 20, 2017, 11:43:14 AM
yea sometimes the Altcoins Announcement threads can be a
bit like the old Poloniex Trollbox with the one liner pump it posts,
no explanations or reasons as to their "advice"  Roll Eyes
7031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More good news for litecoin on: June 20, 2017, 09:30:55 AM

maybe the price wont be fluctuating wildly either way for the short term possibly?
so this would be perfect for everyday buy and sell micro transactions!
7032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More good news for litecoin on: June 20, 2017, 08:38:15 AM
An article summarizing some of the recent good news for LTC. Touches on some of the forward thinking of individuals and groups involved.

https://btcmanager.com/litecoin-supplanting-bitcoin-as-the-cypherpunk-cryptocurrency/

Good article, thanks for posting!

I like this line > Trading volumes precede price action, suggesting litecoin will continue to experience appreciation.
Higher volumes also tell us that more investors are becoming interested in litecoin, more so than any other cryptocurrency.

This is key I think, the fact that more investors are getting into litecoin and possibly more
as we get closer to August 1st. Litecoin could probably be seen as a good fall back coin
should anything negative happen on "independence day" or could end up seeing people hedging
their funds in LTC ?
7033  Economy / Services / Re: Interest in pumps? on: June 19, 2017, 04:57:42 PM
Hello there,
Wanted to ask if anyone would be interested (in the future) in marketing for a pump and dump group. As a reward for the marketing they would be paid btc and given information on the  first coin we pump.
I understand the risks of pumping groups, which is why I'm asking first if people would be interested in doing these things.

We would be paying around 0.01 btc for each person.

We thank you in advance for any feedback.

It is sounds like that your doing the same procedure system in the signature campaign project. Paying 0.01BTC per head, what is that weekly also or what? Aside from that, you are building a group of pumpers, isn't right? correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks Smiley

Yes, the main focus is to build a group. I understand people concerns, but this is a very small campaign (maybe 3-4 at most).
Also the coin is not some nonsense coin like putincoin, it has features that we would like to promote as it is not well known.
It would be around 0.01 btc, but ofc it will be a combination of small tasks(not as many posts as sig campaign).

I don't like the way people think we spreading false information. Will just be features of the coin. Won't be price predictions or anything like that.

No rumours. No "to the moon predictions." Just discussion about EXISTING features of coin.

Well we have countless threads here on the two SPECULATION and ANNOUNCEMENT boards
about any amount of currencies already including Putincoin, so you are free to talk about them anyway.

Personally I dont like the idea of pump and dump groups, it might not be
false information but its pure manipulation concentrated around a particular
currency at a particular time by an organised group.
7034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More good news for litecoin on: June 19, 2017, 02:55:45 PM
After the activation of Segwit on Litecoin I kinda lost interest TBH
But I like this new news about Charlie Lee joining the development.
and the dollar value is still healthy  Wink

I checked out the roadmap which is interesting just a pity they dont
give estimated dates other than 2017 > https://litecoincore.org/

anyway my interest has been piqued again with LTC
7035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: noob influx good news or bad news? on: June 19, 2017, 11:25:01 AM
Hi there

Those who have been around for more than a year must have noticed.  The altcoin world has seen a gigantic influx of new traders bringing along new money.  The explanation for this is from a sociologic/economic perspective not a braincracker: they feel they missed the BTC-boat, are looking for the next best thing and buy some altcoin worth 1 sat in the hope it will get to the moon (quite a crowd on its way there btw).  We saw this happen in 2013 (with LTC, NMC, PPC etc) later on the whole Doge thing and numerous other altcoins.  As a result, marketcaps are soaring, it's the beginning of summer and everybody is a happy camper.  Ofcourse this won't last and people will get wrecked to hell.  I see it happen already on some exchanges with classic pump & dump, trolling the trollbox and noobs asking how to deposit BTC and next asking for advice on a trollbox in what to invest...

Now the question is: is this good news?  Not from an ethical perspective but from an economic perspective.

my view:

+++ GOOD NEWS because:

- More adoption
- higher market caps
- more investment money (ICO's) to make adoption and usability even higher
- We haven't seen nothing yet because the financial/economic world hasn't barely touched cryptoland for now and once it happens, we'll all be rich.

--- BAD NEWS because:

- The status of cryptocurrencies as a whole will be even more a 'pyramid game' where you can lose all your money in a blink of an eye
- The whole thing is getting insane which will inevitably end up in major corrections & crashes, thus dissapointing the new enthousiasts who will tell all the other people point 1.
- It will attract scammers.  I see them all over the place & they're getting money out of peoples pockets and almost get a 'thanks!' for it.

What are your thoughts on this?

well just 6 months ago I was a noob too as has everyone at some point.
and everyone is in it to . . . make gains! as you state yourself and to point
out in the opening paragraph that the noob's are only interested lunar trips.

everyone is in it for gains!

its all good news though, more people for sure means more adoption
and this also attracts the scammers as in all walks of life.
We just have to be careful in our dealings generally.
7036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will people start moving their savings to Bitcoin in case of a financial crash? on: June 19, 2017, 10:52:49 AM
I had heard so many time of market crash but the impact of the last time market crash is not too big, and it is not a really good idea to move your saving into bitcoin because bitcoin itself is not too stable, for your long time saving I suggest gold, bitcoin is very profitable but we still don't know what will happened with bitcoin in the future

The impact of the last big crash 2007/2008 is still being felt
in many countries in Europe, Greece, Spain, Italy and Ireland.

Here in Ireland after the last crash we as a nation had to
bail out the banking system and pay off their debts to the tune of €26billion

Back in 2015 Greece put a hold on funds as there was a run on their banking
system. It got to the stage where customers could not withdraw their own funds.

These are just snapshots to show that there was big implications for everyday
average people after the last crash.

have people learned from that ?
Hopefully
7037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin system collapses in the near future on: June 19, 2017, 08:31:26 AM
after reading the OP I thought, hmm that makes sense, BUT
After reading all of the following posts, I understand more
clearly how the scenario will work itself out. Transaction fees
will sustain mining. This makes sense.

would it be a fair comment to make that if super computers exist
in the future and are possibly able to hack the bitcoin system,
the system will be in a position to increase the level of encryption
therefore leveling the playing field?

[its probably a hypothetical question]
7038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any lite and safe desktop wallet for litecoin? on: June 18, 2017, 09:30:16 PM
Well I use exodus because I control the private keys
And all the backups which I create go to a location
Controlled and accessed with my e-mail.

Personally I think its the best option.
7039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Complete Garbage!!! on: June 18, 2017, 09:10:50 PM
OK I read the article and 1 thing stands out for me, its published right when bitcoins price falls back.

My initial reaction was anger but after reading comments on the preceding pages
I think there are a few points he made that are true about
Bitcoins useage and limitations but when bitcoin stabilises or when
more adoption by sellers and spending happens there will be more useage.

7040  Economy / Services / Re: SunContract Signature & Avatar Campaign(CFNP) on: June 17, 2017, 07:16:02 PM
Rates are changing as of now in this campaign. Check OP for new rates. This campaign will extend for another month but new rates had to happen with current btc price and the company to extend the campaign.

I have 10 jr member slots open, I will only fill those ranks. Odds are noone will rank up over the next month

If any of you are familiar with the Bitsler campaign I manage you know that we do a lottery roll every week on that campaign. Everyone is assigned numbers according to where you are in the spreadsheet and i do a roll on a dice site.

I will be implementing the lottery in this campaign as well. Each week i will make 1 rolls and there will be 1 winners of .0125btc, good luck to everyone and ill post numbers in the spreadsheet tomorrow.

I think the price reduction was going to happen and
Its ok with me personally if it keeps the campaign active
for another month.

The lottery on this campaign is a great addition and
Compensates for the adjusted payment rates.
Thanks Yahoo and suncontract
