7061  Economy / Economics / Re: Die today, Die tommorrow, the same dying! still get vaccinated! on: July 07, 2021, 10:30:50 AM
I'm still surprised that there are still people who feel that the covid vaccine is dangerous for the body. let's use the time well, do good, and don't hide your assets from family.

You are one of those who blindly believe in media propaganda that vaccines are safe, but these are vaccines that have not been sufficiently tested, and for which it is not known at all what effect they have in the long run. More than 10 000 deaths are currently under investigation in the EU, all linked to covid vaccines, and those with mild or severe side effects are measured in the hundreds of thousands. Since they started vaccinating children under the age of 18, a very large number of deaths have been recorded - all of them were healthy children and without any need to be vaccinated.

In April 2011 Satoshi emailed Gavin (and in part criticizing him for failing to credit other contributors work on Bitcoin). Gavin replied that he would be visiting the CIA. Satoshi never emailed anyone else again. (unless you want to believe the messages from years later after the accounts were known to be compromised were satoshi)

This is true because GA publicly announced its intention here in the forum in late April 2011.

I want to get this out in the open because it is the kind of thing that will generate conspiracy theories:  I'm going to give a presentation about Bitcoin at CIA headquarters in June at an emerging technologies conference for the US intelligence community.

From everything I’ve been able to read so far, GA had some of his own ideas and theories that he was constantly trying to impose, but given that Satoshi always had the last word, GA and some others started to be very critical and literally rebelled against Satoshi. I think the CIA was the thing that showed Satoshi what kind of people he was actually dealing with.

And I don’t think anything has changed to this day, Faketoshi has obviously turned to those who have been very critical of Satoshi in the past, and they are giving him support to accomplish his crazy intentions.

7064  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is cryptocurrency bullish in the long-term on: July 06, 2021, 02:55:06 PM
Why are they so optimistic about the crypto market and how do they analyze and profit from it?

They are optimistic because they have read some facts from the past, and throughout its past Bitcoin has brought people a profit. If I heard from some that it used to be possible to buy 100 BTC for less than $100, then I bought 1 BTC for $200 and turned them into $20 000, then sold that BTC and bought 6 BTC for the same money. Today, my $200 investment is worth more than $200 000 - and these are stories that attract people to invest, although the past is never a guarantee that the same will happen in the future.

The key is to never invest what you can't afford to lose, and then you can sleep and live with a clear conscience no matter what happens. Being optimistic and being reasonable are two different things, and most people do pretty stupid things that they most regret later.

I think people are bullish towards crypto because for some it has become the only hope that they will change something in their lives - and it is better to live in hope than in despair.

Satoshi was always on his guard
Particularly with Gavin-- no surprise if you knew what Gavin's first message to Satoshi was... Smiley

And "could have been leaked"-- is that how he rationalized handing it over to Wright?

For the first time, I hear that Faketoshi got hold of private messages between Satoshi and GA, but it's not surprising how he got them given GA's attitude from the very beginning of communication with Satoshi - so I wonder how Satoshi failed to figure out who was actually GA?

As for that first question to Satoshi, some say it looked exactly like this :

“I'm very curious to hear more about you – how old are you? Is Satoshi your real name? Do you have a day job? What projects have you been involved with before?” Andresen wrote

The man obviously couldn't even imagine what it was all about - or it was all just part of his job as an external collaborator of some three-letter agency he went to visit along the way to give them a lecture on Bitcoin. As he himself later admits, this may have been the main trigger for Satoshi's disappearance.

Indeed, it would be Andresen himself who would first air the idea he believed Satoshi’s exit was connected with the CIA event, an opinion he’d give on a YouTube show in its aftermath.
7066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will happen to Bitcoin in 100 years? on: July 06, 2021, 01:32:54 PM
In 100 years the world will change to such an extent that it is very difficult to imagine today, and I think that some things that are important today will not play a big role then. At that time, people's perceptions of money and value may change, although it's hard for me to imagine a world that works on some other principles - so the fate of Bitcoin in 100 years is completely uncertain.

What will undoubtedly advance is technology, so while it may seem like science fiction, people have always looked for a way to become immortal - and storing human consciousness in computers and loading into a new body as needed may be possible in the future.

At the same time, 100 years later, I believe that Bitcointalk will always exist with Bitcoin. 100 years later, there will still be Bitcoin supporters coming here, posting and communicating.

As I wrote above, technology will become so advanced that forums will become completely unnecessary - it would be the same as communicating with the telegraph today. Since you are interested in the future, I recommend you take a look at the Altered Carbon and Black Mirror series Wink
7067  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2021-07-02 CNBC - Bitcoin mining consumed 56% green energy in June quarter on: July 06, 2021, 01:14:41 PM
Now there are no excuses anymore and any critics on that fades away since bitcoin mining is getting greener everyday.

Now that dirty energy from China is something that should become history, I thought that coal-powered Bitcoin stories would finally stop - but then I read on several sources that Chinese miners are migrating to Kazakhstan - and then I find information that claims 70% of the energy produced in that country comes from coal.

Somehow it seems to me that Kazakhstan will become a new black spot on the world map when it comes to Bitcoin mining - just wait until EM finds out about this information.

Do people honestly still believe Musk said what he did because he is concerned about the environment? This is the man who literally launches cars in to space on rockets just because he can. He doesn't care about the environment and he doesn't care what anybody thinks about him. He said what he said to manipulate the price, and he is laughing at the idiots who listen to him while scooping up their panic-sold bitcoin at a discount.

I don't know why there is so much fascination with this man, but every time I click on a link that leads to his Twitter account, I notice that there are several million more followers - I have to admit that I can't understand what's in these people's minds. What I totally agree with is that a man is a manipulator and a liar who tramples everything in front of him to achieve his goals, and everything he does pollutes the environment immeasurably more than anything that has ever had anything to do with Bitcoin.

7069  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Popularnost bitcoina vjerojatno će pasti...kaze izmedju ostaloga sef HANFA. on: July 05, 2021, 03:28:55 PM

Hello BTT Users,

As You all Know That Elon Musk Has a Great Role in Current Btc Manipulation, and as tesla bot acept bitcoin btc more due to bitcoin energy issue.
Now A Big Meeting is going On 22 July 2021, Between Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey, So what can happen in this meeting? As Jack always try to do good for bitcoin sp he will Convence elon and
Tesla will again Accept Bitcoin? Btc will got o 20k$ or 70k$?
As I am Perosnally Thinking that we can't Ignore this meeting,
what you people can think? Share Your views

I don’t want to call that psychopath and manipulator even uglier names so that his fans wouldn’t report the post, but I will say that all those who consider EM a person of some importance when it comes to BTC should seriously consider where EM has been all these years when Bitcoin has advanced without his help?

So expecting something spectacular from a meeting of two men who will talk about how smart one of them is and the other may be stupid when it comes to crypto is the same idiocy as when EM participated in some famous American show, and for days it was speculated that will say or do something there - in the end, there was one big nothing - and I think it will be the same now.

What you're actually asking is whether you should sell or buy crypto before that meeting - at least all those waiting for $20k have new hope if EM says some new nonsense - maybe BTC is to blame for the pandemic, it would surely bring down the price Roll Eyes
7071  Economy / Economics / Re: Die today, Die tommorrow, the same dying! still get vaccinated! on: July 05, 2021, 02:07:14 PM
Life is wonderful and precious so take care of it and avoid things that can destroy life. This covid19 and pandemic could be avoided by practicing minimum health standard protocol and taking the vaccines. Vaccines can possibly end this pandemic and we can live to a normal life again. Let us help fight the pandemic by getting vaccine.
Are you willing to be vaccinated?

I believe that everyone has the right to choose when it comes to any type of medicine, especially if it is an experimental vaccine that has not been tested enough and that has killed a lot of people - although much less than the number of those who have died from the virus. I believe that the claims that the vaccine is 100% safe very controversial in the sense that people are provided with incomplete information on the basis of which they make their decision - and that what is happening now in some EU countries can be freely called terror against those who refused to be vaccinated.

You actually relativize the whole problem and don't realize that there are certain categories of people who are killed by the vaccine, but instead of protecting them, the authorities consider them justified collateral victims. My authorities say that if I don't get vaccinated I won't be able to go to the cinema, theater, concerts and even my employer won't get financial support if he has a worker who hasn't been vaccinated - and my health minister rides around in a bus and practically knocks on people's doors with a syringe in his hand...

At the end of the story, one should know that vaccinated people can be infected, that they can die and infect others - the vaccine is nothing but masking the real problem, let them find a cure if they claim they can do whatever they want.

You're welcome, I'm glad if I helped you or encouraged you to be closer to that goal - and I personally would like to visit El Salvador and some other countries in that part of the world one day. Who knows, maybe see you at some local bar or on the beach while we pay with BTC Wink

Thanks for the video, although I have already seen something similar, this video is much better quality and gives a better insight into how things work in that community. This is just proof that Bitcoin can help people a lot, and that everyone, regardless of age, can use it. The example of a man paying his electricity bill from his house is really impressive, because before he had to spend as much as 3 hours to do it, now it takes him less than 1 minute Cool
7074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mircea Popescu died leaving 1 Million BTC behind? on: July 05, 2021, 10:23:22 AM
In McAfee's case, it is clear that he committed suicide.

This was shown by the official investigation, which even states that he left suicide notes in the pocket of his pants - but also his wife claims that he talked to her that day and promised to hear from her in the evening. A second independent autopsy has been requested, but has not yet been approved, so there will remain doubt as to what actually happened - because JM may have known some things he needed to take with him to the grave.

However, the case of Mircea Popescu looks very suspicious. What are the chances that someone like him would venture alone in to a section of the beach which is known to be dangerous?

Given his character and way of life, I wouldn't be surprised if he ignored all warnings and security measures, because when you have a lot of money in your life and you can afford everything, you start looking for excitement in some dangerous things - the biggest stake such people put on the gamble is their life.
7075  Economy / Economics / Re: The slave does not dream of freedom, but of being the slave-master on: July 05, 2021, 10:06:23 AM
I am not sure if the same thing could be said in the crypto world, we are basically free people here compared to the fiat world (and compared to your example). I am not saying that there aren't coin creators who want to be master of a coin and just see their project go super high and they want to be rich, look at all the centralized currencies and you will see that owners want to be kings of it.

I wouldn’t agree that we can talk about some absolute freedom when it comes to finances and Bitcoin compared to fiat - because even though there are thousands of places where many things and services can be paid for with BTC, kings still sit in central banks and run our lives. Bitcoin has provided people with hope and an alternative, but from 2009 to date, by all estimates, less than 5% of all people in the world have touched that alternative at all.

A system that has been built and consolidated for centuries has made people slaves, it will not change as quickly as some hope - decades will pass until some more serious difference is seen.

You're right about this whole altcoins industry, their owners just want to make a profit and give people false hope with their projects - unfortunately, many accept the game in hopes of buying something cheap and selling it expensive even though most of those projects make no sense.

To conclude, there are few slave owners, and very many who have become their slaves - just look at all those bounty campaigns that take advantage of human misery and the desire for quick profits to end up giving them nothing or maybe just plain crumbs.
7076  Economy / Economics / Re: The slave does not dream of freedom, but of being the slave-master on: July 04, 2021, 02:00:23 PM
Are we creating our own cryptocurrency just to be our own masters or are we actually seeking to become the new masters of the new slaves?

No matter what anyone thought of the creator of Bitcoin, I firmly believe that he had no idea that someone would be the new master of some new slaves in any sense. Besides, why would a cryptocurrency that is decentralized in nature be the basis for any kind of slavery? - if we compare it to the current financial system, which in a way makes people slaves to the system.

I despise every form of slavery and I would severely punish people who still practice it today - and maybe cryptocurrencies will be a way out for someone not to fall into the jaws of slavery - because desperate people are an ideal target for those who capture and exploit them.

Slaves only dream of freedom - if you don't believe that, I suggest you take a look at the following link -> 'Such brutality': tricked into slavery in the Thai fishing industry
7077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mircea Popescu died leaving 1 Million BTC behind? on: July 04, 2021, 01:00:07 PM
Anyone surprised that individual large BTC HODLers, who did not adhere to authorities, like John McAfee & Mircea Popescu are mysteriously dying, while large exchanges like Binance are facing regulatory blockage world wide? Billionaires like Elon Musk are suddenly discovering issues with Bitcoin, while Chinese miners are forced to shut down. All these are happening after G7 summit.

Some will say that nothing in this world happens by accident, but if we reject conspiracy theories - I don't see how all these events are connected unless EM works for the Chinese, and at the same time they have a special team of assassins who eliminate those who have some evidence against them.

It all sounds to me like another in a series of films from the Mission Impossible series - especially since you mention the G7 at the end - which is actually just a cover for those who actually decide everything. At the end, who can prove that JM and Popescu were killed when they both died in a very appropriate way - one in a prison cell and the other in the depths of the ocean, the truth is as they presented it, believe it or not, nothing will change.

This is exactly why I need to rank up. The sarcasm, newbies are looked down upon even though everyone says its not true. Your statement proves the fact. You believe every newbie is here for bounty and signature campaign ( making money is the only aim of newbie). Newbies are unconsciously stereotyped and put in a box by the forum.

You don’t need to generalize with things like that, because not all people are the same and they don’t come to this forum with the same intentions. It is true that some get the information that a forum is a place where they can make money and that they register just for that, but there are also people who just want to learn something, or want to offer some service of their own.

As for ranking, you could already be Jr.Member - I don't understand why it's a problem to write at least one post a day and achieve the necessary activity? There are a lot of members who registered a few months ago and have already reached Member ranks without any major problems - all thanks to the members who support them in that.

You don't believe that's the case? Maybe take a look at this topic -> [TOP-200] Members who support newbies - Thanks!

Thanks for this  Smiley Yep I’ve read that topic and I’ve been following them all on Twitter, but I was just wondering if anyone has actually been to Bitcoin Beach. I went to El Salvador many years ago ( pretty sure not that beach) and there was definitely an air of danger in the country, thankfully I never experienced any problems. Hopefully it’s a lot better/safer now  Smiley

You're welcome Wink

I think the reason you're going to have a hard time finding someone who's been there is that El Zonte beach is actually for surfers, and that's why people go there. Maybe after all this media attention, El Salvador will become a popular place for all those who are looking for exotic travel and want to pay with Bitcoin - and it's great that you already have experience with visiting that country, I believe the second visit will be an even better experience.

It is dangerous and not a good place for mining farms. If what you said is true. There will be no big mining farm moves to El Salvador in order to have greener energy resources. Anywhere has unstable society, politics is not good place for long term mining installations.
The news from El Salvador is good for the market but it will not change the mining industry too much.

You completely missed the thread, this is not about crypto mining, but about Bitcoin Village/beach - and if I understood correctly, you are responding to this post.

Let's give it to them, they still believe in some anonymity and it's users need this to some degree,it's all in the spirit of being a cryptonian.

They may also believe in the existence of tooth fairy, but then they have to face the fact that such beliefs will do them serious harm in the long run. As for me, let them completely kick out KYC and announce that their HQ is on the Moon or Mars, and that they won't follow any regulations that apply to planet Earth - but no other crypto exchange that plays by the rules will like that - and I believe this pressure is coming partly from them - because if the competition doesn't play by the rules, use it against them.
