7061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: You say you cant mine bitcoin with your pc meaningfully... i disagree, help me! on: June 19, 2019, 01:30:54 PM
Ok, I want to pick your brains, everyone says, including the posting rules here, that you cant meaningfully mine bitcoin for profit on a pc, BUt, i can get about $1,20 per gpu 1080ti per day. Now if bitcoin reaches 100,000 in the near future, which is very possible no-one can tell me it is impossible. Then that $1.20 per gpu could be a serious profit just like when it began. When they started mining bitcoin it was worthless and people told them they were wasting their time. A Few years later many of them are holding valuable wallets. Profitability calculators are missing an important category... future value.

I think its a bit harsh for everyone to push the theory that mining is useless. Also, most mining softwares pay you out in bitcoin so even if your mining monero, you are actually mining bitcoin when all is said and done.

Ill appreciate your big brains and input.
Just here to learn and you guys are the teachers.

Thank you

I'll still prefer buying Bitcoin than mining it, of course, Bitcoin could reach to that price, but why not making it hard for you to accumulate Bitcoin when you can get that buying, participating in bounty campaign or trading altcoins, mining is for hobbyist only if you are a hobbyist and an speculator then continue what you are doing.
7062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB Finally On KuCoin!! on: June 19, 2019, 01:11:33 PM
The wait has finally come to an end!!

Big announcement coming from the two rivals on cryptoexchanges!

KuCoin supporting projects that are running on its very own rival, Binance Chain. And the big revelation is that they are listing BNB!

Yes! That's right! KuCoin has finally listed BNB as one of their tradable coin!!

I know some of you are now confused Why kucoin is listing BNB?
I think it is because of Kucoin's aspiration to become one of the exchanges with more volume and users, so it is important to have a list of the projects that have the highest capitalization in the market like BNB.

Please take note of the following schedule

1. Deposits: 16:00 June 19, 2019 (UTC+8)
2. Trading: 18:00 June 19, 2019 (UTC+8)
3. Withdrawal: 18:00 June 21, 2019 (UTC+8)

Announcement: https://www.kucoin.com/news/en-kucoin-announces-support-for-binance-chain-and-listing-of-bnb

I consider this a great move coming from Kucoin management, Kucoin is known to only list the best coin in the market that is the reason that all the coins listed in their platform are on top of the market, can Binance now return the favor by also listing their token in their platform, they should support each other.
7063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties is not a reliable source of income on: June 18, 2019, 02:10:09 AM
You're going to starve if you keep on promoting shitcoins in their bounty campaign, better shift to coins that are already in the market and doing a promotion, there are still some few bounty campaigns where the coin is already listed in the market.
7064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters risk on ERC20 tokens in ICO on: June 18, 2019, 01:56:45 AM
I don't know if everybody knows this, but there is now a risk in getting involved in ERC20 based ICO, and that is they are locking bounty hunters rewards after they've sent it to their bounty hunters,

So even if the coins are already sent to your wallet you really don't own it, because they can lock it anytime at their whims that's what happens to Dexage and Liker, they sent the tokens to their bounty hunters then lock it, so they will not dump, and will only unlock it maybe after they dump all their shares and run away.

what's your take on this bounty hunters?
locking the token bounty is usually planned from the start, and we as bounty participants should already know that and that is a natural thing in my opinion not need to be worried because many projects like that now

I don't think the two coins mentioned that locked bounty rewards coins are not planned at all, they locked it after the bounty was finished and already distributed if there were plans to lock it after the bounty, no bounty hunters will participate on that campaign, they are not being truthful.
7065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why my day job is making me depressed on: June 18, 2019, 01:53:04 AM
I have a full-time day job which makes me so depressed every day.  I just cannot handle 1 more day in my job.  The way that my day job makes me feel has forced me to look for alternative investment streams.  I really love investing in crypto.  I am an introverted person working in a highly extroverted roll, each day I am at work I am dying under the weight of extroverted people.  The noise and chaos that extroverted people spew out into the world makes introverted people highly stressed.

Trading cryptocurrency is a highly introverted job and that is what I love about it, you can do it from home, without the noise of extroverted people filling your mind with their toxic rubbish.

I am holding a significant amount of the altcoin called - HST decision token.  They are about to announce a significant client partnership on Monday 06.17.19

If HST goes to the moon and explodes in value, then I am resigning from my day job.

I pray that on Monday 17.06.19 that I can tell my boss where to shove her job.

This is my escape plan from my depressing day job buy purchasing HST tokens here: https://horizonstate.com/hst/

We have the same thing in common and I'm glad that you choose to become part of us, it's rewarding and at the same time fulfilling but there are a lot of curves ahead, I hope that the coin you choose to invest will make you resign your job and create a job here in crypto world.

7066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty campain with ETH or BTC payment ? on: June 16, 2019, 04:16:35 AM
hello guys, i am a bounty hunter and i am here want to ask with you all.
are you tired waiting distribution, get locked token, blame when price dump and other bounty hunters problem.
so why bounty campain not have a payment with ETH or BTC for rewards if they afraid if bounty hunter will dump their token ?

how about you guys ?

I'm on voting for Bitcoin and Eth as payment but I am ok with other tradeable coins in the market, any tradeable coins that have volume are ok with me, after my stint with Stake.com and back to new coins campaign I prefer to promote coins that are already in the market, I cannot gamble with tokens that can only promise potential in the market.
7067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for private investors for our project, we don't want to run an ICO! on: June 15, 2019, 02:46:38 AM
We have built a  fully functional platform which took us 6 Months to build and test (BeTA). We have options to run ICO but we  would prefer only private investors.

Till date we have spent approximately $100,000 to successfully build and test our platform.

We intend to source for more funds with the order of preference

- Private Investors
- Bank Borrow
- ICO

Platform link is hidden and i will show interested Investors only! please send me a PM!

Not good in not showing the link for everyone here, if your project is that good and has a good potential in the market, you will not keep it in the eyes of the public, some developers, in fact, show their project or their roadmap to the public to get their attention and feedback and if it is good they will bookmark it.
7068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The Bitter Truth about Bounties on: June 15, 2019, 02:18:35 AM
How many of you bounty hunters are actually making up to 500$ per project after months of promoting the bounty project this year? I heard that those who make thousands of $$$$ in 2017/ early 2018 are fortunate because of the bullrun ,so thus that means if no bullrun all bounties won't bring huge profits???

Let's talk about bounties that are not looking for funds like ICO and IEO ,they are always better and you don't need to wait forever to get your tokens,I like promoting already listed coins or tokens ,it's gives better rest of mind

I'm doing just that, I'm wearing a signature that is already in the market, I hope this trend continues instead of waiting for a coin to have value in the market that took 6 to a year of waiting ICO is in the sorry state now, but startups need funding because they cannot go for IEO without funds on their hands.
7069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: What kind of promotions We should use ? on: June 14, 2019, 10:36:08 PM
Hello.
I'm team member of CCUniverse and I want ask more experienced members about promotions and marketing actions which gives the biggest impact at sale or catch audience.

Do You have some favourite model of promo? Actually We used a bounty at bitcointalk,

If You mean press realeses what exactly media we should choose?

Maybe some of You used some method and have a data of views after start campaign ?

Best Regards.

Bounty is good enough but the platform and the people running the project is the biggest attraction, I notice you are not doing an IEO which is the popular crowdfunding now, investors are looking at a project that does an IEO than ICO you know they only want protection because IEO offers a much safer environment that ICO.
7070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: facebook bullshit stable coin, spread this as hard as you can... on: June 14, 2019, 10:17:49 PM
Facebook stable coin may be good for us all.

1 - It will increase cryptocurrency adoption, as Facebook has more than 2 billion clients already.
2 - Facebook will have to comply with regulations, laws, etc, just like banks. It will require KYC, and obey to anti money laundry and anti terrorism laws, etc... just like any bank.
3 - However, facebook is better than a bank. Facebook is more open than a bank, more borderless than a common bank. It has its advantages over a common bank. It cryptocurrency will have many problems, but even so it will be better than a common bank transaction.
4 - Facebook coin may force banks to modernize themselves. Facebook coin will be probably faster and cheaper and less bureaucratic than a simple bank transaction.

So, it is not a bullshit coin. It is the first real big company joining crypto ecosystem. It was expected that one day it would happen.

I agree we should be positive on this, as far as I know, this is the biggest company to have joined the crypto bandwagon and everybody are looking at how it would be, it's too early to speculate, we'll have to wait for the whitepaper to come out and see how far will this Facebook coin go.
7071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do coins take over active coins with missing devs? on: June 14, 2019, 10:00:57 PM
It happens all the time.  Exchanges allow coins to be listed when the dev is missing and there is still a team?
What do you need for this besides a working explorer?

It's not going to work on ERC20 token because the developer owns the  contract of the token, and who knows he still has the bulk of the supply, he can do a swap of the coin that the team will create, but with a bitcoin clone coin it's possible I have seen that on some coins, one of this is xtrabyte.
7072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounties and airdrops still worth it? on: June 14, 2019, 09:49:37 PM
https://cryptotradernews.com/investing-trading/are-bounties-and-airdrops-still-worth-the-effort/ <<< they are killing them. They think their days are over.

Thoughts?
Airdrops are worthless.. and bounties will follow same line in a few years.. bounties are now more of luck than skill.. so you can see what that means for hunters

That's totally true it has become a game of luck for us now, 8 out of 10 bounty campaign are scam or will not make you a profit, that's a sorry state of bounty hunting, in my experience who would have thought that a project like IOVO who create a lot of hype and noise will fail, if this kind of project fail what more on others.
7073  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fake money? Think again! on: June 12, 2019, 06:09:19 PM
It's already proven and it's unquestionable that Bitcoin is real money, if it's not it will cease to exist because people are investing on it trading on it and talk about it as an investment, the only uneducated fool will talk about Bitcoin not money when it is a fact.
7074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We should Unit against Scam Project As a Crypto Community?? on: June 12, 2019, 05:23:45 PM
After lots of frustration , lots of loss , almost loosing hope now market is recovering . As a crypto community well wisher I am requesting Bitcointalk community as well as other crypto community to fight against Scam projects . So that people should not loose belief on Crypto .

Why i am saying this because ?? . We have seen lots of Scam projects ICO's in past in that lots of investors hard earned money gone . It was became exactly like .COM bubble lots of investors lost their money . These scammers took away this money from crypto space .

1) Now as a community we should not encourage ICO'S for time being . As if now there is enough projects funded in crypto space for next 100 years
2) We need investors who believe in new era of currency . Also needs to attract NEW investors . For that we have to keep Crypto Space Clean .
3) Crypto projects are necessary but we are having enough project for a time being . Community  has to understand this . Find a good project already in a place . Support that kind of projects . Which is giving real value to crypto space . Instead of investing in Scam project and getting into trap .

Finally we should keep away our Greedy mentality for sometime we should work together for long term vision of crypto currency .

Note : I know already some of community members really working hard to fight against Scam projects . I have huge respect for them . Now we should also give contribution .

I agree on point number one people should stop investing in ICO we have seen so many lost money
on point number two, we already had a lot of investors willing to take a risk in the right project but afraid that they cannot find the right one
and on point number three, nobody wants to invest in a scam project if they know that it is a scam project, and yes we have the scam busters to thank, they really made a great contribution.
7075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin evangelist John McAfee fears getting arrested or disappeared on: June 12, 2019, 05:11:10 PM
Bitcoin evangelist John McAfee has threatened to “bury” the US government if they keep harassing him over unpaid taxes, promising to leak a huge trove of files proving corruption throughout Washington and its allies.

“I’ve collected files on corruption in governments. For the first time, I’m naming names and specifics,” McAfee warned in a string of tweets stretching back to Sunday. Vowing to release over 31 terabytes of “incriminating data” to the press if arrested or otherwise “disappeared,” he posted the names of a “corrupt CIA agent and two Bahamian officials” along with claims they’d taken bribes and been involved with drug trafficking, apparently to show he was not bluffing.

https://www.rt.com/news

He really is that good if he really has those files, but knowing Mcafee he is good in making stories like the Satoshi theory that he has, and of course, he will soon eat his dick and his own coin that he will soon launch, makes us wonder if this latest one is really true, we might as well call him the guy that cried wolf with these so many fakes stories.
7076  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining in the cloud vs simply buying bitcoin on: June 12, 2019, 04:13:54 PM
from the first page to this, everyone says cloud mining completely scam, unprofitable and a ponzi scheme. and I agree with all of them. there no proof that cloud mining really exists and maintains the GPU mining rig. they only lure with big earnings on their home page. better stay away if want to invest just buy it in exchange.

Even if they really have those mining rigs there's no guarantee that they will not run away, I've invested in one cloud mining that shows investors that they really do have these mining rigs in their Youtube channel, but they still run away and use the money they scam to pay for electricity, cloud mining is a thing of the past, better do trading.
7077  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happen to bitcoin in india on: June 12, 2019, 03:57:05 PM
Nothing special will happen. Recently there are some controversial information about possible ban and similar but nothing is yet confirmed and final outcome is still unknown. I think that no matter what will happen at the end and what government might decide people will continue to use Bitcoin and that will not change. Personally I don't believe that Indian government will introducr such restrictive and harsh law.

This is a very hot topic here if I remember there are 4 or 5 thread about this topic condemning the government of India for this very harsh law, those who posted these fake news here should edit it or clarify and lock the thread, we don't want that kind of fake news to exist here.
7078  Economy / Economics / Re: welcome bulls , Bye bears on: June 12, 2019, 03:19:46 PM
i think the biggest profit for this year at this time is short trading.
example you buy coin now when market red then sold it 3-7 day later when market green.
because the pattern will always be the same every week, in the last 3 month.

You can actually make money on short and long term profit, you can buy huge when the market hit the floor and sell 10% every time you have twice the profit but the bulk of your shares should be before the end of the year or the first quarter of next year when Bitcoin is expected to hit high or surpass it's previous all-time high.
7079  Economy / Securities / Re: Looking for investors for a poker website on: June 12, 2019, 03:00:46 PM
I am looking for somebody who can provide a signed message for an address with enough money in it for hosting, licensing, bankroll, domain, and additional development costs.

Have you have any idea , how much it will roughly cost?

I heard to be successful casino, you need bankroll of 100 BTC.

Wow that was such a huge amount over $750k is it really worth it with the huge competition around us, and how about the marketing, you also will need to launch a bounty campaign a signature campaign to be exact to get the attention of gamblers and gamers here, I hope this project materialize.
