7081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps a gambler to keep motivated in gambling? on: June 02, 2019, 12:01:04 PM
I know that there are many gamblers around the world and still counting the numbers of gamblers. It even became a family tradition to othera where a father passes or teach their children to gamble like in those animal bets like cock fighting. What is really good in gambling? I just want to know the several possible reasons on why a gambler keeps motivated to gamble wether local or online?

Please give me an idea will discuss it here.

Gambling addictions have something to do with the obsessive compulsive disorder(OCD).
People with such disorders simply can't control their behaviour in certain aspects of their lives.
Other than being addicted there only 2 motives-"to make money" and just for fun.

Yes, OCD is involved, but it is more than money. It is a sense of pride and control that takes over when you win a bet. If you gamble, haven't you felt the happiness and the urge to beat the system once more. It is not money every time it.
7082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps a gambler to keep motivated in gambling? on: June 02, 2019, 11:58:08 AM
Gambling is considered an addiction and like all other addiction it is crazy fun. it is a 50:50 game either you loose or you win. When you gamble you are engaged with anxiety, eagerness and excitement all of these result in adrenaline rush, which is what every addict looks for. When you loose the anger, frustration and betrayal takes over, which every addict realizes after the addiction is over.

At least, that is what I felt.
7083  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Localbitcoins is not accessible. Are there total bans on Bitcoin w/o KYC on: June 02, 2019, 11:43:10 AM
It would be nice if you do your research before posting any question here. If you are using your credit card to make a purchase in Ireland it will get declined straight away. This applicable for both English bank and Irish bank. I think the same is applicable for debit card. if you have not tried it then give it a try.

About your request "I live in Dublin and wonder if anyone can help me get hold of $20-$50 worth of BTC?" I suggest you post a new topic on the service board and see if any one can help you. Here is the link - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0

7084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Uncomfortable Truth on: June 02, 2019, 11:31:11 AM
No body wants to treat Bitcoin as a currency for day to day payment, it more treated like a commodity, like a digital gold. People are comparing it with actual Gold and are treating it in the same way. You do not use Gold for everyday purchases or for everyday transaction. Rich and influential people from unstable financial countries like South Sudan, Libya, San Marino, Yemen, Greece, Venezuela, Ukraine, Central African Republic and Puerto Rico are investing more in Bitcoin. Why? I am sure you know the answer.

Leave mass adoption aside, If mass adoption happen also people will tend to use Bitcoin as an assest. No one wants to sell Bitcoin if it has the potential to reach more than $19k.

Will you? ask that question and you will get the answer.
7085  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is behind BITCOIN Cash SV Pumping on: May 29, 2019, 07:43:19 PM
Most coin are having a good run now. BitcoinSV till May 26 was $88.00 and suddenly it has gone up to $178.71 that is about 48% in price hike. There is nothing new this has happened before. BSV falls under the category of pump and dump coin. The recent spike in the price is because of its founder Craig Wright’s Copyright Application. 7087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rakuten Partners with Ciphertrace for AML on New Tokyo Crypto Exchange on: May 29, 2019, 05:44:17 PM
Great News from Japan.

Rakuten and Amazon are big e-commerce competitors in Japan. This might sound speculative but I think Amazon might do something similar with other big exchange in Japan. Good to hear such security measure are being implemented to protect users in Japan.
7088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bakkt delayed the launch date!Coincidence or arrangement? on: May 29, 2019, 05:38:22 PM
I think it does not matter any more to the market. BAKKT has been getting delayed for a long time, the present market dynamics would have been way better if BAKKT had launched.

It might have been arranged as both BAKKT and Bitcoin ETF got postponed at the same time. Nothing happens in the financial market without any reason. That is why you can remove Coincidence.
7089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $190 - BSV is the real Bitcoin on: May 29, 2019, 05:29:59 PM
I pity you,

You are comparing Bitcoin with BSV on the basis of price and to add more dumbness you are think BSV is the real Bitcoin only because the US government thinks the owner of this coin is Satoshi.

Should I laugh at your thinking or should be sorry about your mental health. Whatever!! you carry on with your trolling. Cause, that's all you can do.  Grin Grin Grin
7090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CoinDeal Is Getting Ready to Enter U.S. Market Following Successful Sponsorship on: May 29, 2019, 05:22:06 PM

7091  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I start scalping with a 500$? on: May 29, 2019, 02:06:49 PM
This is my personal suggestion, you should DYOR before investing in Cryptocurrency.

I would suggest you to divide $500 into four parts, it should be $100 into 3 and $200 into a single crypto . The top four Cryptocurrency that I would recommend to you is

1. Cardano - $100
2. BNB - $100
3. Litecoin - $100
4. Bitcoin - $200

You can change the amount as per your likes. I am not going to explain to you why I choose these cryptos, if you can check google, you will get your answer. I estimate within 2 to 3 months you should be easily able to make 2x of your investment. Remember as soon as you reach 2x individually or the total balance of $500 (which ever you reach first) cash out.

to be honest I'm not a fan of multi coins trading . I pick another coin with BTC and trade it. now I'm trading in BNB.
whats your opinion in XLM ?

I am not a big Fan of Monero and since your requirement stated that you need to 2x the amount within a period of 2 months, I recommended this option. if you have already invested in BNB most of your requirement will be taken care of.

Still I would recommend you to buy Cardano, read this article to know why?

https://www.investinblockchain.com/cardano-ada-explodes-after-recent-promising-announcements/

This my personal opinion. DYOR before investing in Cryptocurrency
7092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook shitty coin. Facebook selling information of their customers on: May 29, 2019, 05:58:55 AM
Facebook coin will used for peer to peer payment on its Whatsapp platform initially. They are planning to launch it in 2020.

Nothing is free in the world the service that Facebook has been providing comes at cost. The cost is breach of privacy of individual users. Their coin will help them to acquire financial data of end users and they will surely use it for their own benefits.

P.S - Banks and other financial institution have been doing this for a long time. Imagine what amount of user data Google and Apple have?

I do not know what is Orphan Blog.

I do know what is Orphan Block and if you are trying to know what it is ? then here is the answer in the simplest terminology.

All Blocks are connected to a main chain or a main network. An Orphan Blog is a valid Block which are not part of the the Main chain. The do occur naturally when miners mine produce Block at the same time.
7095  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin ever experienced a 51% attack? on: May 29, 2019, 12:15:34 AM
Unlike BCH and Ethereum Classic (these two are the most famous) Bitcoin has never experienced a 51% attack. Back in 2013 or 2014 there were some concerns raised by the community on social media about a mining pool gaining a large portion of Bitcoin hash, but it was controlled later on. It is not worth trying to do the same now as the cost of mining has risen up drastically.
7096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which industries will get disrupted by Decentralized Blockchain Technology? on: May 28, 2019, 05:23:37 PM
Which industries do you think will get disrupted by Decentralized Blockchain Technology the most? In terms of real world use case applications of Decentralized Blockchain Technology, which ones would you say will have the greatest positive impact in the world.

Banking
Government

Banks are for those who cannot be their own bank (bitcoin already solved this)
Government is for those who cannot govern themselves, laws are for the obedience of fools.

The next few things will be

Courts, Internet, Inventory, Supplies, Patents, Filesharing, Anticheats, AI, Databases... Etc trying to make a list for them here.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5141142.0

Banking and other Financial Institution will be the biggest followed by Government. That is the reason every day mainstream Financial media is trying to create FUD in Crypto Universe and circulating Fake News. The amount of money these guys have invested to create a chaos is huge. Government on the other hand are trying their level best to BAN cryptocurrency or are trying to control them by issuing regulatory measures.
7097  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anybody explain to me difference between confirmation & block time? on: May 28, 2019, 05:04:14 PM
Block time is the expected time interval between two blocks. Whereas Confirmation means the number of blocks that have been mined after the block that contains your transaction. I hope this is simple enough for you to understand.
7098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Pre-match Opinion from a fan of SEER on: May 28, 2019, 04:35:49 PM
This is a KO fight that is for sure, Anthony. Joshua has got a good height and good reach as compared to Andy Ruis Jr. Since they both are 29 year old the fight will not last long, I think the fight should end between round 7-9. I will put my money on Anthony Joshua. This is my personal opinion and anything can happen in Betting.

7100  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to explain blockchain/Bitcoin to millennials on: May 28, 2019, 01:04:04 PM
Millennials like things to be explained in the simplest way possible. So if you are planning to explain them the concept of Blockchain and Bitcoin, you need to eliminate the technical term. This how I explain it to my daughter

Blockchain is just a record-keeping tool.

Bitcoin is a Internet based currency that run on Blockchain.

If this could help you.
