Thank you for your input guys, it's nice to hear the opinions of well seasoned members in the space. It was the first time that I had seen a .holdings domain extension, when I discovered it. I know that .com and .org extensions are the premium domain extensions today but I can't help but feel that this extension is especially apt for potentially the largest global currency owned by a PLC. I was quite happy with the link which was posted, $500+ dollars off just the wording alone isn't bad. I'm going to wait for the hype, the announcement and some worldwide adoption and then test the water. I feel that this will sing to either an avid collector, a Crypto trust fund which would like to use the term globalcoin, as it can relate to all coins which will be a part of the new economy and also will be heavily searched on Google. Or it might be of interest to Facebook themselves. We will see  it is well worth a mid to long term hold. Thanks again, I wish you all wealth and prosperity in the years ahead. God bless. You did not mention how much you purchased that domain, but you have nothing to lose if you hold on to it and see where it's going to go, big companies want to have a monopoly on their name on the internet, they sometimes buy in bulk to shut off the competition with their name online, so why not wait for a year after Facebook launch their Globalcoin. |

If you consider in last 5 years it has given the best returns than even gold or Usd for that matter . People have become millionaire or billionaire if they had bought early stage bitcoin and sold in 2017 high . So btc is definitely the best when it comes to returns.

There's no way of verifying a transaction without an internet. No centralized valuation would work. People would revert back to goods to goods exchange. There would be no capital and the one who produces are the rich ones. There would be no jobs as now and everyone would revert back to farming, herding or being iron smith.
That's what eventually will happen without the internet, I spend my adult life without the internet and because I cannot trade anymore I will have to find jobs or get into jobs that are not related to cryptocurrency it's like back in the 90's without the internet. |

The idea that Bitcoin when the price of Bitcoin goes down, there are no new people making fortune from it is a misconception. The fact is, bear market and bull market can equally be utilized to make profit only if the participant knows the strategies to do so. Trading is one of the ways to earn during bear and bull markets because traders do not need huge spikes in prices in order to make a choice (buy or sell).
I'd love to see those people went down and thinking negative when the market goes down and in the later part they're turning back again. They are just stupid and nothing to prove that they are worthy for this investment. Anyway, there is no need to hold them and force them to believe bitcoin. As to know that, only risk takers will survive in crypto investment and they are not among of them(us). For me every time Bitcoin goes down and experiences a bear trend there will soon be new millionaires coming, this is an opportunity for people who came in late believe in the potential of Bitcoin an dwait for the right time to enter the market, and this is a huge opportunity for them and history proves it right. |

All the top coins in the market are good, as long as you are investing what you can afford to lose, I'm not saying that can lose your investment if you invest on the top coins, but the recent long bear trend has got our money stuck in our wallet, unless you sell it at a lost.
