7102  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A strategy for "surviving" in times of crisis on: February 12, 2018, 02:41:03 PM
This doesn't have any logic:
1. I invested 100 dollars.
2. OK price is x2 and I pulled out my initial investment of 100 dollars.
3. Extra profit in time when price is rising, but what if price is going down? But let's say price go 3 time higher.
4. Prices for tropical country for whole family is minimum 2000 dollars.
5. To activate my 500 dollars crisis fund, I'm best case that much?!
6. Where we can go with 500 dollars.
7. Come back from holiday and you are in big dept.
8. To repeat what when I returned all the money?

Your strategy will work if you invest thousands of dollars, and who can afford to lose that much? Your strategy doesn't work much if you invested in wrong time! Read about people who bought at 19000 dollars, where are they now, and where is their profit?
Your strategy will work just if circumstances are perfect.
Don't fool yourself that this will work, I don't know what other people comment.
7103  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think that bitcoin can reduce corruption? on: February 12, 2018, 11:27:24 AM
I think bitcoin will not reduce corruption. As long as there are people who can be corrupted, it does not matter what the currency will be.

Bitcoin as a tool can be used for corruption suppression, because bitcoin can be transparent. It's very simple, if some government sector have a wallet and funds that needs to be used for something good, everyone can control them, they will not be able to use that funds for what they wish and how they wish. That will be a huge change, in my country its hard to get some documents about government spending, but with help of bitcoin and blockchain we will be able to check them from home in any given moment.
Now, and before, government officials are spending tax money for their own interest, when will that stop? In my country all politicians in power are getting rich while they are there, when their mandate ends they have a lot of money and then they are starting with other businesses, of course with stolen money from tax payer's.
FOR HOW LONG, I'm asking you? For how long they will be able to do it? As long as we let them...
7104  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is anyone interested in playing Yahtzee or Backgammon for BTC? on: February 12, 2018, 09:47:02 AM
Hi. I was a user of Gambit back in the day when you were able to wager BTC on these games. Even though you can't wager BTC there anymore I'm still interested in playing. So if you are interested, let me know and we can proceed by finding an escrow who would be fine with monitoring the games, holding the funds, and giving the winnings to the players after a session has completed. Or if you trust me, and I trust you, we can just straight up play.  The stakes I'm interested in are .01 BTC a point and higher.

Let me know. Thanks.

I played there, too! Its has been over a year when I was there last time. My favorite games were yahtzee and world war. Others games are also good, dominoes, monopoly.. If you wish to play for lower stakes I'm interested, something like 1 mBTC, or even less for beginning. I don't think its a game where I wish to risk 80$ in one game, but couple dollars per game would be alright.

Yahtzee! and Backgammon are solved. Meaning, you can just send input into an engine and it will give you the correct move to make. If you're making the escrow make sure that there is no foul play (machine usage) then that's extra work for the escrow. Not to mention, you can simply decide to emulate decent moves and good/best moves sporadically... and the fact that playing the best move 98% of the time also doesn't mean you're cheating, per se.
It would be good to see this kind of thing happen—I'm personally a fan of both games—but I feel that it's just impossible.

If I remember good, there were similar tries in the past, but nothing ever happened because of someone can cheat on all games there. I believe that only solution is to makegwme faster so there will be no time for people to use any calculations.

We can play for 1 mBTC in 3 wins?! That would be nice, or maybe more like we can play who first come to 10 wins is the winner? I would like that to be more fun, I don't wish to risk to much on this.
7105  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What is the most critical moments in Cryptocurrency and Bitcoin history on: February 11, 2018, 03:21:39 PM
Beginning's are hard, the time before popularity. I think for bitcoin and other cryptos is the same, the hardest moments are the ones before they get out from the dark after that everything is much easier.

Hi All Members,

Most critical moments in Cryptocurrency history of yourself;
01. Most Painful Cry Cry
02. Happiest Grin Grin

What we do in that moments!

Appreciate your reply to newcomers for cryptocurrency industry
The most painful for me is when I bought bitcoin when the price was high, and watching the price going down. I didn't know much about bitcoin back then. I was panicking, I thought I'd lose everything but fortunately I refrained myself from selling them. I read some info's about bitcoin's price and I've learned that it could change time by time.
It would be my happiest time if the bitcoin price goes high again.

Your individual critical moment's are not the same as crypto critical moment's. You gave yourself too much credit for this. You are not the only one who bought on top and price dipped after that. If you count every bitcoin price drop as critical moment for bitcoin, then bitcoin and cryptos had way to many critical moments in history and many more are coming.
7106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why almost everybody suggest to hold? on: February 11, 2018, 10:21:47 AM
it's important to hold altcoins, tokens or bitcoins. When the bitcoin price goes down you really need to hold one of them because you need to wait to increase their price.

No, its because the safest way to make profit is holding. Basically you don't need to do anything except buying and storing, profit will come in time.
When you day trading your risks are big, you need to follow so many news, every price movement can be  bad for you if you didn't predicted it right. With bitcoin market you know it will grow over the time and just with holding you can make a lot of profit. Can you think about people who bought on 1$, how many ups and downs they had, but over the time they are in great profit now, aren't they? Now think about price on 5 years, 100000 dollars? Until that price we will have many ups and downs, who trade can lose money, who just keep bitcoins will have more then x 10 from now.
7107  Economy / Gambling / Re: http://btcheat.com scam or not? on: February 11, 2018, 06:23:51 AM
I knew its a scam! So its stopped on 92% before payout, I knew that will happen, so I quited after a week. They are making money from commercials, using your mining power and they will just disappear in one moment. Maybe not even that, probably they will stay open for new and fresh blood.
OP you need to change a headline of this topic, its definitely a scam, and people should stop going there and use their site, you are helping scammers to get rich very fast.
There is no free money, if you like to play some games for free go to faucetgames, they are legit but rewards there are much smaller.
7108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Traders 'pump And Dump' Cryptocurrencies on: February 10, 2018, 05:42:35 PM
there are SO MANY of these scamming pump and dump groups out there now its ridiculous how gullible and desperate people are.

These telegram channels have 2000-100000+ members in them all eager to buy whatever they are told. These groups always know the coin way ahead of time and
will buy it much earlier. On top of that they want your BTC (a lot) for 'VIP' or 'Premium' membership BS where you are now going to get the signal ahead of the rest
of the group and they also encourage you to spam the shit out of the group so you can 'Level up' as an affiliate to get an upper hand.

Obviously the ONLY one benefiting is the admins here, a few might get lucky and be able to buy and sell when the announce but it is far more likely
you will not buy in the low in time and will be stuck with a worthless coin at a loss. I don't know how these people fall for it or fork out .5 BTC to some random ass on telegram or why this world is filled with so many
asshole scammers that just seem to love what they do.

Anyways rant over. There are 'Some' groups that give decent short/mid term signals that can be profitable.

There was a video on how best to execute pump and dump trades on cryptopia:
https://vimeo.com/250201759

I think you really need a bot / trading program to have a chance at this with sliding scale profits and auto buy/sell orders ready.

Sure that admins make the highest profit here, they buy on dip and they sell on top, everyone else buy and sell in the middle. The ones who are close to admins are the next in line, and how you say more far from admin less profit it is, and until the end of the line people are short. No one lose everything here, people invest 100 dollars and get out with 70, they think they were late and they watch carefully for next signal.
There are too many pump and dump groups, with so many followers. You don't need a trading bot, you need to be close to your lap top and ready for action. I tried to follow some pump and dump group couple times with some little investment but I didn't have good results, but I believe that some people earn good money on this, some, while others lose, but its like that in everything else.
7109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin, fruitful soil for theory conspiracies.. on: February 10, 2018, 03:58:22 PM
So many fud about everything connected with bitcoins. I don't wish to spread it, I saw something that I wish to share with you people, and I'm interested in your opinion.
News from today https://themoscowtimes.com/news/russia-busts-crypto-miners-at-secret-nuclear-weapons-lab-60460 Russia Busts Crypto Miners at Secret Nuclear Weapons Lab

Like they found out that some scientists are mining bitcoin with some super computers.
And take a look on news from October and thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2285872.0
Are they talking about same secret nuclear power plant?
Funny how spinning news works, how people use things to create fever or panic for anything, not just bitcoins. They are using methods proven from before, nothing new here.
So what you think people about this, what is real and what is fake about this?

Edit: Stompix you are right, I saw nuclear plants and I started to make connections in my head.  One news I saw on mobile and other on computer. Sorry, I'm locking the topic to not spread spam.
7110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best Poker site ? on: February 09, 2018, 08:53:13 AM
Hello, i am looking some good poker site with btc.
I need site without verification and with many players.
Can anyone give me good site(can be with ref).

Here are some of the good websites that allow playing with BTC in no particular order:

1) Nitrogen Poker

2) Bits Poker

3) Betcoin poker

Among these, Betcoin poker is my favorite as they have lot of games. Minimum BTC deposit there is 0.01 BTC.

Nitrogen is the best if you like to play cash games, there isn't better place for that. Just click on my signature and you are there in a second, you can play anonymously if you wish, and for now nitrogen accepts just bitcoin deposits.
Coinpoker have ICO now, I believe their ICO is not over yet. Nice poker, they have a lot of tournaments for ethereum, you can check that.
Betcoin turned off their poker, now they are activating it again. There are some problems with that site so be careful, they have new owners and I think the biggest problem was BBJ that is around 42 BTC and that is not a little. I didn't understand will they open poker until bbj happen. They are shady about it, like I said be carful when you play there.
7111  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people says gold is better? on: February 09, 2018, 07:47:42 AM
because gold is a precious metal and very valuable. you can sell gold in every country and gold can also be made into jewelry, gold has also existed for a long time and is considered as valuable by everyone and shows that gold is suitable for long-term savings and the value of the price is not much decrease and the increase is also very stable. while the new bitcoin appears in recent years. and only approved by people to respond. while gold has a longer process than bitcoin, and bitcoin has not been widely available at this time, perhaps only with time to prove it all.

Are you trying to explain us here why gold is better? You ate a joke, as your comment. First gold can be better if you plan to make a gold teeth, you can't put bitcoin in your mouth but golden teeth's are popular among some people, I don't wish to go deeper into that area.
But if you wish to send that valuable possession from one part of the world to another, what you think its better in that case?
As an investment bitcoin is better, gold have stable price over the time with small increase, if you wish to earn form your investment use bitcoin, if you wish to save your money buy gold and keep your money safe in your basement. I don't like precious metals, I never did, so for me gold is nothing special and I don't know why people are crazy for gold.
7112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's effect Facebook banned will have on ICOs today on: February 09, 2018, 06:08:29 AM
Icos just lost a place where they can advertise, but that is not a problem, they have many other social networks for that. Its questionable how popular Facebook is for bitcoin users, I saw that bounty campaigns are paying more for posting on twitter, medium, and telegram is very popular too.
Facebook is very big, they can't stay immune on crypto, they will need to find a way to get into all this, by accepting crypto or making their own ico. What ever they do it will be big, because they are big, and they have a lot of people there, they have money to finance what ever they wish and ways to promote it. Probably their only problem for now is legality, they can't make anything now and risk to be banned in many countries. When we see more regulations in crypto world, we can expect Facebook to make their own alt.
7113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does crypto market decline affect your gambling? on: February 08, 2018, 01:24:13 PM
It doesn't affect me when market is declining, it affect me when its increasing ans casinos have same minimal bet. When you gamble you need to know your bankroll, minimal and maximal bets, it's not same when 1 mBTC minimal bet is 1 dollar or 19 dollars.
Like some other people here I also use other alts for gambling, when ever I can. Nitrogen where I play poker doesn't accept any other coin, just bitcoins, who knows maybe they will change that. But they don't have slots and I like to play slots sometimes. Last time I played was at fortune jack, they had nice promo if you deposit doge so I deposited doge coins.
7114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: please help me seriously to leave gambling ???? on: February 08, 2018, 08:11:02 AM
Today i realised i am in huge huge trouble due to gambling...i just kept loosing amount in gambling quickly...decided many times to leave gambling but never happened....today i counted that i have lost almost 10 bitcoins in gambling in last 1-2 years and the amount i loose is going to keep on increasing...
i just tried to do every thing but nothing is quiet working...what ever i earn i dont know what to do with them and in some time i loose them again...
i am realising i am in big trouble, already in huge loss what to do... Embarrassed

Why are you lying that you try everything? Did you try to not gamble for example?!
You don't know what to do, but you know how to come here and cry?! You are not in trouble due gambling, you are in trouble because of YOU! You can blame gambling or drugs, you can blame whom ever you wish, but problem is in you, sooner you figure that out, sooner you will fix your problem.
You know what you need to do, its stupid to ask something like that. If you don't know what you need to so with your money give them to someone who knows.
And advice to others, don't try to help this poor idiot because nobody can't help him. Some things in life we need to do alone, if he is so stupid to continue to lose money that he doesn't have on gambling that is his decision and his stupidity.

PS: why you came here in gambling section to cry about your gambling addiction?! Later you will go in casino to find a cure for your addiction?
7115  Economy / Speculation / Re: IT'S TIME TO BUY BITCOIN ?? I SAY YESSSS on: February 07, 2018, 06:23:58 PM
We can say yes to all but that doesn't mean a thing to others you know. People need's to feel this money, and to feel power of bitcoins in their wallets before they join here.
Is it time for crypto, not yet I will say. We are young, and many more years will need to pass before people figure that out. If you wish to outsmar people around, and close to you, you should invest in crypto. In couple years they will ask you where did you earn so much money and you can say here, without any fear.
Its time for buying bitcoins and many other alts, don't fool yourself. This is the future and if you don't join now you will regret for the rest of your life.
7116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If people stop buying bitcoin on: February 07, 2018, 08:58:33 AM
If people will stop to buy bitcoin for sure bitcoin will going to be no value in the future, because all of us will sell their bitcoin slowly or maybe sell it immediately until bitcoin will lose it's value because no one will value bitcoin anymore.

Laws of economy, if demand is zero then price will go to zero, nobody needs to be super smart to know that. This will not happen to bitcoin in some near future, I am open for new things and maybe some alt can outshine bitcoin one day, bit that will not happen this or next ten years.
Last year popularity of bitcoin was enormously high, because of that transactions were slow and fees were high, I wrote about that here and I said bitcoin progress will be slowed down because of all that. Now we are waiting for that lighting network and then bitcash and other cash coins will stay far behind bitcoin.

Why use bitcoin, why exactly? There are many innovative cool blockchain platforms with their tokens, which are profitable to invest and useful to use. For example - SAFINUS (https://www.safinus.com/) look at this ... that do u think?

I don't wish to look at your token, find better place to advertise it, not BITCOINtalk forum, and section BITCOIN discussions. I don't remember I saw Safinus forum and their section, work on that couple years first and then come to advertise it, goodbye sucker.
7117  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What else after this massive dip ? on: February 07, 2018, 07:27:16 AM
Hello everyone
Crypto markets are currently under huge downtrend after a glorious 2017 ear. Some of you consider that it's a healthy correction but others don't think so.
Bad news never stop coming since a while talking about an eventual crypto ban from Asian authorities. What do you think about crypto world ? Is it still meriting the worth to invest into
crypto currencies ?

good question.. but may i ask? will anything goes straight up always?

Nothing is going straight up, just fools believe in that. Basically he didn't ask a good question, because he is the one that believe that crypto prices should go up and up, and after every drop to cry and ask is it worth to invest now, bla bla bla. And I'm so annoyed from people who still talk about Chinese, Korean and others from Asia, they are masters of spreading the fud, and they are doing that for years now. I'm here for so long and they changed their opinions so many times. Today they are banning, tomorrow they are legalizing, who know what f. communists are doing, but nothing good for sure. I don't believe them nothing. If they say that its raining outside I will go out and check that first! That's how I feel about news from Asia. And here I don't count Japan, they are different.
7118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to overcome the fear of holding? on: February 06, 2018, 03:00:22 PM
I've always been one who sells to earlier, either to minimize my losses or to realize my earnings ASAP and leave. I've seen in most of my investments, if not all that if I would've just left the coins there they would've been worth 10-50x what I put in before. This is upsetting as a person and trader, as I see how much money I'm missing out on.

How do you traders do it, hold and hold and hold. Waiting around for more and more money?

Don't trust anyone, hold and don't read what other people wrote, don't hear what they say on the news, don't trust Warren Buffets of the world, just have goal and follow that till the end. That is how you hold and don't care about anything, even when its going down like this month's.
I got to say that getting out from the game is good sometimes, look at the markets everything lost value more then half until now, and drop is not stopping. You need to be a real magician to predict this market dips and to get out before it. I didn't predict this so I'm holding for now, I don't cash out, I don't move my crypto I just wait until I see stable market again. This is good times for holding ans buying more, at least who have money for investing.
7119  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying Coins on: February 05, 2018, 12:50:43 PM
Where can I buy some coins with the cheapest price? Too many exchanger & trading sites out there, you don't know which is the best one.

I wrote so many times that you, or anyone else show wish to buy any alts, should first choose alt, and then to ask for specific alt, and where to buy it for the cheapest price.
I am registered at many exchange sites, price are not the same everywhere. Compare for yourself and then buy alt you wish. You can always try to wrote here what you need and which alt you wish to buy and maybe some member is  selling that alt, that will be cheaper because you will skip paying exchange commission. Next time try to be more opened and to share with us what you wish to buy, you never know is there some member that can offer you a good price.
7120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WARREN BUFFET says Bitcoin won't end well on: February 05, 2018, 11:14:18 AM
Warren Buffet is a traditional investor, and has no understanding of technology. That can be seen from the fact that he invested in Apple Inc. just recently in 2016. If he had the right mindset and knew the potential of the company, he would have invested in that in its early days and not when the stock is already highly priced. Same can be said for the other tech stocks that he didn't invest in in the 90s. How his prediction ends remains yet to be seen, and I am fully confident that his prediction will be proven wrong.

Warren Buffet has also been wrong a couple of times, he even admitted being wrong not to buy stocks from Google and Amazon.

Source: https://www.cnbc.com/2017/05/06/warren-buffett-admits-he-made-a-mistake-on-google.html

There's no reason why he couldn't be wrong on this too.
He might have a point as well, this is starting to look more and more like the dotcom bubble, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing though.

I would think that once the bubble bursts, most of the bad actors in the industry will start to go down, but the good ones will survive.

I personally wouldn't mind a period of relative stability at whatever price point, we've seen it back in 2015.

Warren Buffet is a billionaire investor, until now he had more then 10 statements against bitcoin. If you ask me he is working with China to stop bitcoin, but all of them will suck my d. in the end. Bitcoin doesn't depend of on China and Warren, that's why we support decentralized bitcoin, some other people have vote in this more then whole China together with Warren Buffet. Look price of bitcoin is not dropping, to be clear bitcoin price is already high and simply some people and players are withdrawing the money, nothing strange about it, that happened before many time.
I was here when some people cry how they bought bitcoin on 1200 dollars top and later price dropped to 200 dollar's. Who was patient saw big profit at 19000 dollars. Same is now, be patient if you bought at 19000 dollars wait at leas a year and you will sell at 60000 or maybe more. Don't trust this spammers from China and idiot's like Warren, f. billionaire can suck my d. What good he did for me or anyone else here, we should be strong and stick together against him and people like him.
