We don't tell you if big or small. It's your choice!

Right now, every Slush Pool miner can vote for larger blocksize.
Simply use one of following mining URL to do so:

stratum+tcp://stratum.bitcoin.cz:3301
stratum+tcp://us-east.stratum.bitcoin.cz:3301
stratum+tcp://eu.stratum.bitcoin.cz:3301

Please note that voting does not affect Bitcoin network in any way at least until 1.1.2016.

Is that a typo?  If you had hw errors ~ 40% then you had something seriously wrong with your machine or settings.

Just seen that, is corrected in my post above  Wink
7150  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3+ Discussion and Support Thread on: July 09, 2015, 06:49:52 PM
I've put an updated AntS3 update archive in my binaries git hub of latest 4.9.2 cgminer.
For details and installing: https://github.com/kanoi/cgminer-binaries/tree/master/AntS3

It's an update to the previous AntS3 release I did:

Code:
2015-Jul-7 Update cgminer-ants3-4.9.2-94e04f6-2.tgz
---------------------------------------------------
Update the cgminer init.d script to run ntpd a few times trying to set the date

Add more frequencies to the Web Advanced Settings tab
Warning, the higher frequencies marked with a warning can risk damage

Tested and running on my pool of course Smiley

Really thanks for the good work! Have updated all my S3 and S3+ to the latest version and running stable for more than 24h now  Cool
Better infos on status page, hw errors have dropped 0.0047% and the system load is also reduced 0.62 0.61 0.65

Just had a thought about selling my 2 remaining New-RBoxes these days but now I will wait a little longer and watch this thread  Wink

Going to update my system tonight. No problem to do this by commandline  Wink
7154  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3+ Discussion and Support Thread on: June 28, 2015, 08:05:44 AM
Once the miner is running I can do everything with him what I want to do except of turning off the PSU.
Everbody say that it makes no sense and I have to agree but it is like it is!
I have given up on it...thanks to anybody for the kind help.
7155  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3+ Discussion and Support Thread on: June 26, 2015, 07:40:37 PM
...but the controller board is still ok (like mentioned in my post before) Wink
No need to replace this
7156  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3+ Discussion and Support Thread on: June 26, 2015, 08:29:43 AM
First of all big thanks to all of you that you try to help me  Smiley

The weird thing is I think hes using a serial to usb on the controller to get it to work.    Real-Duke do you have the usb to serial plugged in for it to turn on?

Exactly this is the point of attention!!! -> The miner won't boot without these connection <-
Once he starts booting (green light on the miner network plug appears) I can remove the USB/Serial connection and all is working flawlessly until I turn off the PSU again...

7157  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3+ Discussion and Support Thread on: June 25, 2015, 08:53:12 PM
Yeah looks like this miner is unique  Undecided
Tomorrow evening Im going to remove all screws inside and hopefully I can see something whats maybe wrong with him. Until there Im sure he will do a pretty good job for me  Wink

7158  Local / Mining (Deutsch) / Re: Antminer S3+ nur rote LED... on: June 25, 2015, 08:41:55 PM
7159  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3+ Discussion and Support Thread on: June 25, 2015, 05:48:04 PM
Could you find out what your network settings are? Most likely nothing to do with it ... still could be something there.

The Network is set to a free fixed IP but even dhcp is possible. Im 100% sure it has nothing to do with the network adress, because if I power up the miner without the "Better Ground-Contact" he is simply not booting
7160  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3+ Discussion and Support Thread on: June 25, 2015, 05:26:32 PM
Hey guys thanks that you try to help me! Cool
I owe you some more details:
In the moment the miner is working since 22 hours together with my other miners. I have full access to him over the webinterface. Better to say: He is working 100% like any other miner, I have yesterday even changed the firmware to the latest from 9.1.2015.
If the miner is up one time, he is running well!
But the problem appears when Im turning off while unplug/turn off the PSU
Without the contact (say stand-alone) to my PC or Netbook (that must be powered from the wall !!! too) he is not be able to start again.
So to me as a non expert it looks like there is not enough Power-Ground. But this little connection from the serial ports with a other device powered by circuit is the little bit that is needed to start.
Once it started and the network led on the miner becomes green I can remove the serial connection and keepit running.

With less words: If the miner is running I can do all the things I want, even reboot, flashing new firmware, make changes in pooll settings...all works like it should be.
But to make the miner start up he needs the "starting help" otherwise there is only the red LED of death  Undecided
Any suggestions?
