BitWhite was Bitcoin White back in the day, right? I hear that Bitcoin White was backed by the US treasury or something? Was/Is that true or am I misremembering things? Sorry if it's a stupid question.

I have the same question, hope someone will answer  Roll Eyes
7162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀[ANN][PoSToken]First PoS Smart Contract Token[Lending Platform Available] on: April 22, 2018, 02:11:21 AM
I fortunately already gave up this project, and I joined ACC (Accelerator) Token has the same effect and POSToken,
there is 300% POS in the first year, 100% in the second, 50% in the third, and so on ...

coinexchange has fixed the wallet, fully functional for deposits and withdrawals
in coinexchange the ticker is like (ACCL).

supercomputer expansion started earlier this month.

I am simply loving the project .. active team and always with news ..

now is in a great time to buy Tokens .. due to the BTC inquiries in recent months some weak hands have taken action there are several orders with low prices ...

I leave here my gratitude to the community, POSToken ...
who wants to be part of Accelerator, with a great project .. stable and quality and with 100% active team .. the moment is now ...

Strong hug.

if i remember it correctly they were exist because of PoSToken right ?
because they were copying what PoSToken did such as Smart Contract stake system and other stuff.
even they gave an airdrop to them who held some of PoSToken on their wallet.
so what make it so different compared to this project ?

They are using PoSToken standard and yeah they did give small amount of ACC to PoS holders.

ACC is utility token, you can mine other coins such as ether, monero, etc with it. And they have their own exchange too.

Ok but what is the pourpose of all this? Why "new" token? Apart from the fact the many new tokens gets spawned everyday. Why this should replace POS? Sorry for the maybe newbie's questions, but I'vent followed POS lately.

The original dev is gone and PoS is effectively dead. So some guys decided to start a new coin with the existing community.

And new guys don't have private keys to access old dev accounts so they had to come up with a way to somehow continue development and reward the PoS token community. They opted for new token and some sort of airdrop/token swap.  I am not sure that they will succeed with that, but it is much better than abandoned project.

For more info visit the discord of the new token or ANN page. Links are on the previous page I believe.

It's not token it's new "coin".

So are you saying minting the POS is actually a waste of gas?

I guess so, you should mint once every 90 days and then wait for a miracle.

So will all the mined postoken from the past months be eligible for the snapshot?

It depends. If you minted them before the snapshot then yes. If it was after then no.

When is the snapshot?

It's already taken. I dunno exact details but there will be manual swap as well.

Sorry, I do not mean to offend you guys. But, Twitter is not a good way to promote your ICO, tweets every few hours feels like a spam.

The future of this project it's so bright and congrats to all participants, better days ahead

Yeah, this project is waiting for days, it's better than not ...

I understand that the moon will not be. Maybe they will find a way out? A good way out of this situation.
I also hope that the team will come up with something. We want growth. No recent changes. He does not develop the project at all, unfortunately.

Leave hope my friend. This project is dead, there was no team only one person who has abandoned the project! Sites will also be vanished once domain expires.

Just a heads up.

IDice airdrop bot asks for private key to claim airdrop. NEVER EVER give your private key.
7168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] www.PR.network – An Incentivized Real-Time Opinion And Value dExchange on: April 18, 2018, 02:08:41 AM
OK, managed to vote now. It cost me 1 xpr each vote and I need a negative and a positive vote. So its 2 xpr cost per couple of votes.
So I need 4 xpr to spend each day to use all my votes.

But I don't understand the incentive still.

I already have 350 + 350 votes from all the previous days. The daily rewards from the total of all these votes are very small. Less than xpr each day.
Why should I spend my 1000 xpr to vote when votes return so little? I will never gain that back.

Also I don't understand what is the point of owning cards. They don't seem to give me any reward. Or is it that when people vote on my cards I get their vote money?

Is there a place that explains all these things in detail?

Actually, I don't understand these things as well but spending XPR seems to worth it, yesterday I spent ~12 XPR on votes and I left at 991, when today I checked I have 1008 XPR.
7169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOU]Lend the network - Airdrop - 15th of January(start of the airdrop) on: April 18, 2018, 02:01:15 AM
I posted some of this to the POSToken thread:   There is a lot going on with this DOUGH token for POSToken holders, including a new airdrop around now.  But, I don't like the idea of losing my POSTokens, I would just like both, hold them and get the DOUGH tokens as well.  That seems the fair way.   Is that what's going on or will the old ones be burnt?  Everyone knows old tokens often retain their value, burning a ton leaves someone with more supply and less demand.

If there is an airdrop we should be able to keep our PoS tokens, right?
I don't understand why they make it so confusing. swap or airdrop what is it? who will get the airdrop an how?

I guess there will be regular airdrop for bitcointalk members and there will swap for those who had PoSTokens at 1:3 ratio (1 Dough/3 PoS).

Need for information about news! I hope this coin will grown up to ICO price in next times!
....

3. Represantatives:
Representatives are engaged in the promotion of BitWhite in its territory. These are public figures who are ready to speak at conferences, negotiate, communicate with people, and represent the interests of the BitWhite community. The representative is approved only by all DAO.

Not trying to be grammar nazi but such mistakes gives bad impressions about the project.

The method that you posted doesn't actually open the post where you left off. If a thread gets a new reply, then the ".new#new" url would lead you to the last reply of that thread instead of the actual post where you left off.

In order to achieve the same, here are the steps :

1. Click on the post form where you want to continue later as shown :

2. The url that you land upon must be bookmarked

->

Sorry mate, but it always lands me to where I left Huh

So, Didn't it solve the purpose of this thread ?

Actually I meant that the method posted in thread is working, it always lands me where I left.

None of it actually. It's better to buy good alt coins and then convert them to BTC.

Okay, so some of you might already know this and some don't.

If you already know, you can leave this post since there is nothing new.

Now, for the rest of you.

Just put these two words at the end of topic link, then whenever you will use this updated link you will start from where you left.

".new#new"

Suppose, this is the link of topic,

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2110712.0

After editing the link, it will look like this.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2110712.new#new

Bookmark this new updated link and use it, everytime you open it you will start from where you left.

My explanation skills are crap, so if you have any questions feel free to comment.
