7161  Other / Meta / Re: Community generated suggestions to improve the forum (+ eventual voting on them) on: December 10, 2018, 03:01:15 PM
So, what was done since the last big update - new Merit requirements? Nothing! Any of these things which were marked by theymos as "ok" weren't implemented. Is it really so difficult to add simple things which we really need, like new mods, no dedicated staff for account recovery or automated software for recovery, no welcome message for new members, no signature campaign guidelines, no more specific altcoin boards (like beginners an help or technical support). Since August, when theymos posted on this thread, only one meaningful thing was implemented here. I don't want to push theymos, but current situation in forum is far from being perfect and we need some changes.

Only me is getting the infamous:

Sorry, something very bad has happened - please try again later

right now?
I get same message on Moon Bitcoin, don't know about faucets, I didn't tried recently.

Thanks guys!!!  That's my first win ever in your lottery Cool

Congrats! It's nice to see people winning money in lottery and posting proofs of winning. Enjoy your money!
7164  Economy / Reputation / Re: Someone is selling my script... on: December 10, 2018, 12:28:18 AM
Yesterday I saw another guy trying to resell one crypto faucet script without permission, but seems that this thread already deleted. I want to ask about forum staff position towards these resell attempts. I checked Bitcointalk rules, but didn't found anything about illegal resell attempts on marketplace. Can mods delete such threads and ban these users, or this thing like all other type of scams are left to DT members only to judge? It's pretty pointless to mark these users with red because they are using throw-away accounts.
7165  Economy / Reputation / Re: "Dig Bicks" you should prove your negetive feedback. on: December 10, 2018, 12:17:18 AM
Oh! my bad... I thought everyone knew him. It's THE digaran. Petty that he gave up (my guess) from his original account (last active September 01, 2018). I personally used to enjoy his nonsense humours Cheesy
Oh, didn't knew that the big D is his nickname Cheesy. It's interesting where he's gone now. Well, it's really possible that Dig Bicks is his new account, but I'm not sure.
Because I want to expose him and ask question why he called me scammer. (D) digaran offline from long time, may Dig Bicks is fan of him  Wink
If he would have valid reasons to call you scammer, he would provide something in reference in trust feedback. But he didn't provided anything, so, probably he is just angry at you for some unclear reasons.
7166  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Not all crypto apps in App stores are safe on: December 10, 2018, 12:08:14 AM
I'm not an Apple fan Cheesy Actually I don't like Apple! I'm using Android Wink I just don't use mobile wallets.
I am not technically strong enough to explain exactly what the Android gaps are, but I will give you examples of interesting articles about this:

https://cointelegraph.com/news/major-risk-for-mobile-android-wallet-users

This one is very old, but also interesting:

https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/critical-vulnerability-found-in-android-wallets-1376273924/

I hope It will help.
Thanks for the links to these articles. I'm not saying that Android is perfect system, as your links shows. But in my opinion, in mostly cases it's fault of phone users that they lost monry. They are just not careful enough - they download fake wallets, don't use antivirus, 2fa and etc. If you don't follow even basic security suggestions, you're unsafe, no matter which system you're using - Android, Windows or iOS. I found one article https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2018/01/24/hackers-targeting-apple-google-app-stores-with-malicious-crypto-apps.html and I'm actually surprised that some fake crypto apps were found on Apple App Store also.
7167  Economy / Reputation / Re: "Dig Bicks" you should prove your negetive feedback. on: December 09, 2018, 02:57:52 PM
Why do you care about feedback that he left. He isn't DT member, so his rating doesn't affect your trust score. People aren't paying attention usually to such feedbacks, same like to these feedbacks that you got after exposing scams.
Dig Bicks (Big Dicks) is a troll. Ignore him is my best advice to you. For some reasons his trolling reminds me the great D  Grin
digaran
Who is the great D? Cheesy
7168  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: December 09, 2018, 02:02:23 PM
Nope you are wrong, literally it goes that way but what I meant, you really need to get exactly 10000 not 0 in order to get that $150. The 0 will get the lowest payout so yes it is pretty useless to have 0 results. Anyway doge is pretty good coin, besides their fast transaction, this is what I called gamble coin because it is cheaper and everyone can manage to have it but to get it from faucet which is around 0.24 doge, I do not think that it is really worth because doge prize is already on the lowest price
Yes, 00000 gives the lowest possible reward, but as I said, it's technically same like to roll 09999, jit's just from other side.
Maybe 0.24 DOGE isn't something amazing, but I remember they were giving something like 0.05 DOGE last year when crypto prices where ATH. How you would call such reward? I would say that now it's not bad time to collect free coins from faucets. Crypto markets are red and faucets gives bigger rewards when prices of crypto are low. If markets will start to recover, these coins collected from faucets will be worth much more than now.

7170  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Not all crypto apps in App stores are safe on: December 07, 2018, 11:53:06 PM
Good topic, OP. This is a serious problem nowadays. There are lot fake wallets in Google Play store. The problem that is very easy to upload app to Google Play - you only have to pay $25 sign up fee. These apps don't even have to checked by Google staff. iOS is better at this aspect because it's more difficult to upload apps to their store.
But it's not that difficult to spot fake wallet. Usually original wallet are shown at the top of search results. Original wallets usually have large number of downloads and many reviews, while one of indicators of fake wallet is small number of doenloads and reviews.
Freewallet uses an account verification procedure to prevent hacking attempts and money laundering. We have an excellent track record of blocking accounts used for illicit activities and we will keep improving our security algorithm.

If you have not been suspected in any illegal activity, you are more than welcome to use Freewallet.
Centralized wallet which can seize users money if they find something what they don't like - this is what we really need. IMO, such wallets aren't much better than these fake wallets mentioned in this topic.
If we're talking about Android apps, then we can say, that probably none app is safe. Android has so many gaps in the system that every good hacker will have no problem getting into your mobile wallet.
Tell us more about what exactly you're talking. Or it's just whataboutism from Apple fan?

cant believe this shit scam still online...

Got my account since 2016 its 0.0000025 btc

....
I have Qoinpro account since 2015 and already have 0.0000415858 BTC. Early retirement, here I come!

I confirm there isn't any withdraw option there!

Stay away, this is very dangerous.
In old version of website there was withdraw button, but still, I haven't saw people posting proofs that they got payment in recent.
It's not dangerous to have account there, because we don't have what to loose here. But offcourse, people shouldn't try deposit money into Qoinpro or promote their ref links. There only one worying thing - Qoinpro have big number of registered users, it's possible that they can try to sell database of users passwords and emails.
7173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: December 06, 2018, 11:20:53 PM
What you guys are forgetting that the new teams that got promoted usually play with the high or promotion and usually do better on their first season than rest and gradually start to play worse. We are talking about bilbao who has never been a real threat to top teams ever and the last time they actually manage to win the league was 1983 so what were the fans thinking when the league started. First of all not relegating is still number one priory for this team, if you are not aiming at winning the league but aiming at not dropping, being here is still understandable.

Also they are not that far from staying in the league, I know they are 4 points behind with just 1 win but couple more wins in a row and they will be in top half let alone the bottom of the league. I think it was a too quick of a decision, any managerial change during December will not yield you a better manager.
Well, Bilbao is a big club in Spain. Maybe they weren't title contenders in last few decades, but they were strong team, they often played in Europa or Champions league or Copa del Rey finals, so it's not common to see this team in bottom positions. Now they changed manager and today beat Huesca in Copa del Rey match easily. I hope they will be able to run away from relegation zone.
7174  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Good Multi Currency Desktop Wallet for Win 32 Bit??? on: December 06, 2018, 03:03:47 PM
OP, there aren't many good multi currency wallets in general, there are only few wallets available in market. You can try Jaxx, but same as Exodus, I wouldn't suggest to use these wallets to store large amounts of money. I don't know any other wallets which would be trusted enough to use.
Coinomi is probably best multi currency wallet. The problem that this wallet is available only on Android and iOS. If you want to use it on Windows computer, you can only run it using emulator.
Best option would be hardware wallets like Ledger Nano S or Trezor. It costs about $100, but it's much safer than desktop wallets and it support large number of currencies.  And with app like Ledger Live you can manage your cryptos like using typical desktop wallet.

7176  Other / Meta / Re: Is this forum boring? on: December 06, 2018, 12:45:28 AM
I wouldn’t call it boring: You’ve got soap operas (mainly in the reputation section), dramas (scam, banned and merit related threads), comedies (flat earth thread, "I did not plagiarize" threads, etc.), science (bitcoin/altcoin technical boards), kid’s time entertainment programs (social reporting for example), Big Brother (popcorn cat fights all over), etc.
I don't agree with you. I think forum become really calm. You probably didn't saw what was going on in Reputation section few years ago. It was real soap operas and dramas with hundreds of posts daily. And probably half of these threads was about Lauda made by Quickseller and his alts Cheesy. And majority of reputed forum members was called as alts of Lauda at some point Cheesy. I'm missing these threads because it was fun to read.
Nowadays in Meta or Reputation we can see pretty much same things each day - banned users for plagiarism, Merit abuse, complaints about unfair Merit system, exposed scam ICO's. Sometimes I'm feeling like in Groundhog Day by visiting these boards.
If we talk about situation in other boards in general, it's probably related to current situation in crypto markets.
7177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: December 06, 2018, 12:26:01 AM
Lots of Copa Del Rey matches on tonight, I don’t think there will be much value in ML betting so you might have to be imaginative.
Barcelona, Villareal and Atletico will play today but indeed betting ML will get nothing because they will play against weak teams from lower divisions and most of sportbooks only provide the odds less than @1.1 but the match results will be so unpredictable because possibly they will play with reserve teams however i personally will skipped those games and focus for league match only
And all teams from La Liga didn't had issues to beat teams from lower divisions, despite playing in reserve squads. Indeed it wasn't worth to bet with such odds, so I made over 3.5 bets on Barca and Atletico matches and I catched Sociedad win @1.65 and Valladolid win @1.72. I'm surprised that Sevilla managed to score only 1 goal against team from 3rd division.
Few games will be also played today and it looks more interesting than matches on Wednesday.
7178  Economy / Goods / Re: 4K ANDROID TV BOX on: December 05, 2018, 02:20:03 PM
Can you give more details - which Android version, how many RAM and ROM. Does it have EU plug? How many USB ports it have?

Android 6.0, Regular American DC Wall Plug,  1gb Ram, 8Gb Rom
Thanks for answer, but I'm looking for a box with a bit more RAM and ROM (2GB and 16GB at least) and EU plug. Sad.
7179  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: December 05, 2018, 02:15:07 PM
@Cloudbet, I'm again here to talk about missing lines from various events and league. Today I visited your website and wanted to bet on some basketball matches. I noticed that number of available leagues and matches to bet increased (probably I saw full list of events). I tried to bet on one match, but I got error "your bet wasn't placed". I tried to reload page and most of these leagues and matches disappeared. Now only few leagues is available (NBA, NCAA, Euroleague, Euroleague women, Australia, Finland, Brazil, Denmark and Italy leagues).
