Re: Why are people rushing to buy the IEO at Binance?

Probably because people are hoping to get the same returns like in 2017 ICO bubble. They're basically bigger gamblers; as if bitcoin wasn't risky and volatile enough for them.

It's the new hype in investing and investors are in a hurry to take part because they know that it could probably not last, just like what happen to ICO on its heyday, where every ICO launch are successful even those duplicate project, I'll give IEO two years like and it will suffer like what ICO is suffering now.
7182  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Udemy: Weird Support System on: May 28, 2019, 11:38:09 AM
I did not know that they have this kind of support, they are a huge online courses company to have this kind of support, maybe you can try on their other social media account, a site as big as this should not have a support like this, even big issues like yours should be handled in a timely manner.
7183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dead? on: May 28, 2019, 11:27:25 AM
Interesting article about the death of ICOs and the emergence of IEO... https://cryptotradernews.com/investing-trading/are-icos-really-dead/

What do you guys think? I don't think ICOs are fully dead. They just need to be regulated in more efficient ways. Most ICOs from 2017-2018 never delivered on their promises because they were being ran by a bunch of assholes who didn't deliver squad... We need more regulation. Only then will ICOs get better imo.
Regulating the unregulated industry, who can do that, there will be corruption if we ever create one because millions are involved here, look at those rating sites, we all thought it's going to help us pick the best project, but in return, they favor scam project for a good rating.
7184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best airdrop you have ever gotten... on: May 28, 2019, 11:15:14 AM
At the beginning of last year, I heard about airdops for the first time. I thought then wow - that's it !!! Thanks to that I will be rich in a few months! Wink  I spent the next two months searching for more cosmic airdrops offering theoretical earnings from a dozen to several dozen dollars. I entered many projects thanks to which I spammed my social media accounts and filled my telegram with hundreds of groups. After a few months it turned out that out all these projects only a few actually send me tokens, but only two or three of them today have real value, but not exactly what I was hoping for, because all my tokens earned in airdops are worth about two dollars ;-)  Seeing this, I found that airdops do not make any sense and it is not worth wasting my time...

But this month I hit the energi airdop (138 place on coinmarketcap) already listed on 4 exchanges (including kucoin) which offers up to 100 tokens, which (according to the current rate) are worth over $ 200! Unfortunately, currently there are only left spots for USA and Canadian citizens ;-( If you live in one of these countries, you still have a chance to get your free 100 tokens.

Seeing that the airdrop could actually be valuable, I started to look for other similar ones (big value and already listed) - the best I found this year was from ONTOLOGY ~ $ 50, but unfortunately it ended very quickly ...

I'm wonder if you manage to find any really valuable airdrops? If so, write about the best you ever managed to get. And please do not write about few cents or dollars ones - let's focus on examples above $ 10. I'm really wonder what was the best airdrop ever...

Best airdrop even by an altcoin was EBTC so many members have gotten that airdrop and you don't have to do a task to get that airdrop, I made over $150 in that airdrop , after this so many airdrops have popped up, but none of them has become profitable like Ebtc it creates a big buzz here almost a year ago.
7185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is needed for a gambler to the success? on: May 28, 2019, 10:30:47 AM
Everyone know gambling is filled with success and loss but what is the most important for being successful in gambling
Luck or experience?

Both, of course, both are ingredients to become a successful gambler, the experience is how to stop when you are having a bad day in betting and how to stop in the midst of winning, luck is when you are having a run of winning but if you don't have the experience it's hard for you to know when your run of luck will run out.
7186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any Decent Exchanges? on: May 28, 2019, 10:24:25 AM
After the Binance hack, I no longer use Binance. Delayed withdraws, hacks, ect. I just don't want to deal with them anymore. So, with that being said, I want to find a new exchange for my crypto needs. I also, am not a fan of Coinbase/Coinbase Pro due to their Bitcoin Cash fiasco. I've been reading about several exchanges and HITBTC is one that keeps popping up. It seems like it has a decent amount of positive sentiment surrounding it (https://tipestry.com/topics/5ce9b551e528302571b89464/hitbtc-possibly-insolvent,-claims-new-report). What do you guys think? Is it worth using? Have any of you ever used this exchange?

I don't know where did you read that HitBtc is a good exchange, in fact, there are a lot of bad reports, and those reports are valid in the scam section, do your own research and check out the scam section and you'll see the many scam reports about Hitbtc from delayed payment to banning people with valid arguments.
7187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop is more profitable than Social Media Bounty ? on: May 28, 2019, 05:14:44 AM
When you see in every spreadsheet bounty, why every member join social media bounty always get low rewards ?
But in Airdrop their rewards is enough for their task.

I see in bounty group there are many people who join social media bounty rewards is under airdrop rewards.
$1.8 for do facebook bounty but every member who join airdrop get $5. Is enough for bounty who always do task every weeks ?

This is my opinion why airdrop is more profitable than social media bounty

Task for Airdrop is easy than Social Media Bounty

In Airdrop, you only need to join their official page and join form. In Social Media Bounty, you must create, share and like their official page. Most of Social Media bounty must share 5 post and create 2 post.

Social Media Bounty makes more post than Airdrop

To join Social Media Bounty you must make Proff of Authentication then send your bounty report every week. But Airdrop is simple than Bounty, you only create Proff of Authentication

Most of newbie always join Social Media Bounty

Every newbie who try bounty, always join social media. If that bounty is only 4-6 weeks, their rewards is enough about their task. But if in bounty is 8-16 weeks. Social Media Bounty user is more do task and their rewards is too low.

This is more of an exception than a rule, bounty still offer the best rewards than airdrop I have been into both and got huge rewards participating in bounty than airdrops, maybe what you mean is a social media where everyone can participate, it could be true in som ecase but you cannot say that in signature bounty
7188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinGecko Adds “Trust Score” to Combat Fake Exchange Volume Data. Can it work? on: May 28, 2019, 04:29:10 AM
Hello crypto lovers,

CoinGecko has added a Trust score to exchanges to try to fight fake exchange volumes, do you think this can work?

https://www.publish0x.com/coingecko-publish0x-blog/coingecko-introduces-trust-score-to-combat-fake-exchange-volume-data-xwnzjd?a=GELe3POa69

Also I would check out the platform that the article is written on. It's a new blogging platform where you get crypto for creating articles / upvoting articles. I have been using it for a month and I've already earned more than I had on Steemit.

I like using Coingecko now, with their new features, it offers a lot of data that can help you with all your analysis on what kind do you like to buy, this is a big help for investors  I used it together with Coinmarketcap for comparison, I started with CMC and very much used to it.
7189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone heard of Sequence (SEQ)? Thinking of buying. on: May 28, 2019, 03:54:30 AM
Looks like a stagnation coin to me no volume or price change this year and if it gets delisted from bittrex its game over. Although the projects twitter account is still active so its not abandoned. lastly that supply looks fairly big so I wouldn't expect too huge of a price increase and possibly the opposite if it keeps inflating.
48 million supply is ok to me some of the other coins in the market has hundreds of millions of supply, but I agree that for a coin to have a maximum potential in the market, there should be more exchange where it is listed, not only on one exchange, although Bittrex is a good exchange with a good volume.
7190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRX will pump, and I have reasons on: May 28, 2019, 02:02:38 AM
Here's my reasons:
Justin Sun knows well about marketing, he promotes trx everywhere he can.
He has a good relationship with Binance, when trx launched in Binance ,it went 100x.
And when Binance got 7000 BTC stolen, Justion show strong support.
Now Binance has shown margin on its website, and Justion posted twitter that big event on NO.1 June.
I connect the two things together ,TRX will pump

Tron is moving fast in the market and I have seen so many applications and websites that are created on Tron, the developer is making a lot of great moves, investors should have a second look on TRX, this is a coin that has the potential to go on the top 5, although I read some claims that it is a scam project but OP cannot sustain that.
7191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen if we find THE REAL SATOSHI ?? on: May 28, 2019, 12:10:05 AM
Just curious  Wink I have seen many news about who claim to be satoshi and who might be satoshi. Let say we skip the part where we got the proof satoshi then what.

Will the price go up??
What will he do next Huh

Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley

if we found out who the real Satoshi is, of course not the impostor Craig Wright, it can push the price and adoption further, he can shed more light on Bitcoin and Blockchain and promote  his creation, because he is the ultimate authority on this matter, although there will be security risk, but we can all help provide a full security or a company that supports cryptocurrency.
7192  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Tokenizator - FAKE TEAM - using computer generated images. on: May 27, 2019, 10:57:40 PM
I think every member of ICO should have a video or a webinar or an event where all teams are present,
I'm afraid I have some bad news.

Damn, that is so brilliant, you have to be very good at this to spot the difference, the team should have some sort of questions and answer in Youtube or in a webinar for us to believe that we are talking to a real person, just like they do in MLM and affiliate marketing.
7193  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Most likely a scam attempt giveaway on: May 27, 2019, 10:44:40 PM
I've redtrusted this account Jack5050

For this giveaway https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5147346.0

Archive: http://archive.fo/wD3kg

There is a high chance that users will be scammed if they join this giveaway, waiting for a signed message from the op with the address with 50 BTC or an address with 50 BTC Held during April - May 2019

Scammers are getting very innovative now, and they are very brave to post it here I'm getting similar messages on Telegram and just ignored it, but asking him to sign his Bitcoin address that has 50 Bitcoin on it, is a good proof that his offer is legit but won't guaranty that he will not scam people.
7194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do to recover your losses? on: May 27, 2019, 10:35:16 PM
You have a long list of altcoin portfolio that have tanked down by 90% since you participated in the ICO.  What was $5000 is now worth $500.  You are at a loss of $4000 and there happen to be an upcoming token sale that is pretty hyped.

You are in desperate need to recover your losses and you plan to invest in that hyped token sale in hope that you can earn 5-10x.  Would you:

1. Pump fresh fiat out of your pocket into the token sale or
2. Trade off the the altcoins you have for BTC/ETH and invest into that hyped token sale.

Share your thoughts.

You can make a bad decision in desperation. but if you are 100% sure that this can recover your past losses you can implement any of the two or both but like what I'm saying invest only what you can afford to lose, you will be very disappointed and frustrated because you are making plans out of desperation.
7195  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Dexage (DXG) is scamming bounty hunters by locking bounty's coin for six months on: May 27, 2019, 11:52:22 AM
The decision to distribute bounty tokens was because we extended our ico and didn't want to keep bounty hunters waiting for so long to get their tokens since we already gave them the date to distribute their tokens before we extended ico period.

We extended our ico past the distribution date we already gave them. We had to keep our words to bounty by distributing it to them on time, but since they started to dump our tokens without allowing us to conclude on the ico.

We had no option than to lock the tokens for 6months and we will release 20% of the tokens to them every month.

The locking decision was not just to sustain Dexage project, but it is for the best interest of the entire community

I saw the conversation on telegram by bounty hunters and the dev, locking the coins for six months looks like a punishment for bounty hunters for selling on ether delta, then made a late decision the 20% release every month is just to calm bounty hunters who are all in protest about the action.
this is becoming the new rules of the dev locking the coin and defending to protect the coin, I see it as a punishment.
7196  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2020's gonna be lit!! on: May 27, 2019, 11:39:36 AM
Next year is gonna be a lotta excitement for all of us the Bitcoin community and cryptospace at large. Should this be anither "parabolic move," Bitcoin ia gonna soar high because

* Halving is on its way 2020
* and I'm hoping Facebook's "GlobalCoin" comes after that- (this is going to introduce about a Billion people to Bitcoin and crypto)
* Craig Wright's sh*t has been gotten over haha
lastly, another possible China FUD Smiley lol

Make sure you're hooked up onto your seat- it's gonna be an exciting ride hopefully Cheesy

The two news you mentioned is
Quote
* Halving is on its way 2020
* and I'm hoping Facebook's "GlobalCoin" comes after that- (this is going to introduce about a Billion people to Bitcoin and crypto)
is a good reason why you should buy top coins before we go through 2020 in 2017 there's not much news that is as big as these two so start buying more coins now.
7197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top coins to have in my portfolio? on: May 27, 2019, 09:39:54 AM
Hey guys, other than these 10 coins https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/10-coins-to-have-in-your-portfolio/ which other tokens should I consider having in my portfolio?

Input is appreciated!

Those are good coins to hold if you want to add more then go for coins that are already in the top 20, as much as possible do not add new coins that are on ICO stage you will wait almost a whole year to get a result on your investment and sometimes, the results is not that good, proof is the many ICO that cannot reach their softcap.
7198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEW LCM Coin Launch on: May 27, 2019, 09:24:11 AM
I have seen similar roadmap in the past, from other projects but some of them are dead and I cannot recall their name, this is not a good way to announce your project if this is cheap and unprofessional, you can hire people to create a good announcement thread, not this way, it will not generate support from investors.
7199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If a whale is buying Bitcoin then I too will buy Bitcoin. on: May 27, 2019, 04:49:08 AM
If the whales are secretly buying up Bitcoin than I will buy Bitcoin at the current market rate. Even if it goes to 2500$. Gives me sum hope in the crypto space. Only if I find out they are buying through forums etc.

Whales have been buying a large amount of Bitcoin ever since they partly control the market, I wonder why you are not aware of it, you should read a lot of articles about this, this is the reason why many new coins that are being launched are controlled by whales, they want to control the coin when it hit the market it's possible to all coins that there are whales behind.
7200  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is STEX.com a scam? on: May 27, 2019, 02:47:20 AM
Hello, I would like to know if the stex.com is scam. I can not access my account after allowing only one IP (My ISP changed the IP after a local network failure), I contacted the chat support, they requested to contact via email, but so far I have not gotten a response. Chat support only repeats the same message: Send your data via email and ask to disable "Allow Logins via IPs". I'm already out of patience. 3 days and still did not respond to my email.
Sounds like this was your fault? You enabled an option that blocks every IP other than X and you changed your IP (regardless of if it was intentional or was your ISP's fault)... Looks like they are just doing what they have been told to do.

So, you already emailed them with your data and request to disable the IP option? If that's the case, 3 days doesn't seem like a lot of time to call them a scam.

That could be the reason, they have an option like that in your personal dashboard when I'm still in Azart campaign I sold all my coins in that exchange after I verified my account I did not face any hassle depositing, trading and withdrawing my coins. everything is easy and hassle-free.
Support asked me to prove that I am the account owner.
I tried this with my 2FA code and now they are sending a tutroial about using 2FA, and I just want to have access to my account, but I can not have it because I'm blocked by IP. They are sending me the automatic answers, it's the same attendant, and the guy does not look at the history of the conversation?

Is there a possibility that you access it from the IP that you've used that is not yet blocked or use another IP you can try to message them in their other social media channel if you keep receiving the same message, or a telegram channel  I'm sure they have one, most exchange has one.
