721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bountyhive scam on: May 22, 2018, 01:09:11 PM
You join the Bountyhive campaign. You will not be able to say that your payment so far is very profitable because of the high number of participants. You also do not know how they calculate in the spreadsheet. But you can say that you have never experienced similar problems or paying difficulties. The team is very active and willing to help their participants to get a good bet and wait for your first reward, if you want to talk to them then you can contact their customer support.
I see some ICO projects they are introducing as potential, maybe some of them have ICO scam projects,
they also can not control it...

Bountyhive for me is one of the good source to find a good project.
Yes that's right there's some projects from bountyhive are scam but also there's bounty that I gain a big amount as a reward.

I thought they scan ICOs before managing it? Don't they have a requirement before they engage on an ICO?

723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the reason why we really need Bitcoin? on: May 21, 2018, 01:40:34 PM
We will need bitcoin for overseas transfers.

1. No intermediaries
2. No days of waiting
3. No big fees that doesn't even makes sense to us

I believe this is the best application for bitcoin.
724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My country banned bitcoin. What I can do ? on: May 21, 2018, 01:34:48 PM
You can either:

A) Cry

or

B) Move

or

C) Keep using it but go full Assange and all darkweb

Has your government actually made it illegal, though? Lots of misinformation out there.

Yes right, please state why your country bans bitcoin. Or maybe they just implemented strict compliance with it that you can't -for now- abide. I don't advise you to just follow anyone here saying use VPN or anything (use onion maybe) to use it as it is quite dangerous for you. Your ISP might be able to still track if I'm not wrong.
725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO AND FIAT MONEY BEST COMBINATION on: May 20, 2018, 02:05:18 PM
What's the point of keeping two different systems alive when cryptocurrencies are way more superior to fiat? As you stated, cryptocurrencies are much faster than sending a wire transfer and they are more secure. However, I disagree that using fiat is easier. For me, it would me much faster and easier to send and receive payments using my phone. I wouldn't have to waste time on counting the coins and bills and worrying if I have enough of them in my wallet. Fiat are going to die really soon. Almost every person has a smarrtphone which can be used for accepting crypto.

Some people still prefer traditional fiat or even a simple trade. If you travel on some 3rd world country. Where of course nature is at most preserved. You will see that bitcoin is not usable. And you might yourself in big trouble.

In some countries yes I believe that nobody can even shop without a credit card. But people are finding the most efficient and easiest way for them. So I think fiat will not be gone soon.
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Good Signature Campaign on: May 19, 2018, 01:28:23 PM
Hello Bounty Hunter Friends,

Could you please tell me which signature campaign is the best for now? And, Please share your way how to choose a good signature or social bounty?

Thank You

there are few great signature campaign right now, including XYO that i'm following.
To choose a good signature you have to answer two question:
1)is this a serious project?
2)how much will i earn?

A good way to answer second question is to see how much dollars are invested in the bounty and guess more or less how many stakes you will earn in week.

Wow, thank you for this advice! I am currently also searching signature bounty campaign. Because this one is going to end. I would like to try bitcoin campaigns but I find it hard to join them as the slots are hot when someone leaves. Plus the fact that is not always, there's a time that someone leaves bitcoin campaigns.
727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you guys pay Taxes for profit? on: May 19, 2018, 03:01:09 AM
As long we are talking about small amounts i don't think it's a problem....

if you have big amounts to convert i think you consult a accountant.

Yep! You must search the answers outside internet, find the financial expert if you want to do things in well

I agree on this, It is really hard to just enter a large amount of money in your bank account without the bank knowing where'd you get that large amount.

They will surely ask if you have paid taxes for it. And it will be a long process if you are not prepared, so always be ready.
728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO STOP HACKERS TO HACK YOUR CRYPTO WALLET on: May 19, 2018, 02:53:11 AM

5th: Do not trust PUBLIC WIFI

It's quite good to have access with free wifi's but have you think this: IS THIS A SAFE NETWORK? without you knowing maybe some of the people connected to that same network may have idea and skill on how to sniff passwords and credentials this method was so called DNS SPOOFING or SNIFFING if you want to use public wifi then use it not just with your bitcoin transactions.

This is one of the best things to say for some bitcoin beginners. They always tend to be happy and enjoy public FREE wifis. But they don't even know what the risk is.

If you check the DNS of a wifi network you will see that it is different and I find somehow unusual. Yes, they have their own DNS server. Most of the wifi networks I know is using 192.168.1.1 (to get from the ISP) as DNS, the OpenDNS DNSs (208.67.222.222 & 208.67.220.220) as DNS or 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 DNS from Google.

If I'm unfamiliar with the DNS I don't do bitcoin transactions or any login attempt. Most case's I don't use it.

yes mostly spoofing the network is hard to see but if you are using some sort of securing your DNS then there is a way to protect you but believe it or not most of people don't configure their network and security

I agree, and they ought to know how or why. For those who don't know you can actually edit the current DNS server you are using to any of the DNSs you like.

On Android, I believe it is the wifi settings. Tap and hold the network you are connected and select modify. There you can change the DNS.
On PC Windows, right click the network icon in the tray, it be Wifi or Lan icon. Open Network and Internet settings, Goto Network and Sharing, in connections, click on the network your at, click on properties, and double click on IPv4. There you can change your DNS settings.

Just make sure it is the right DNS or you will not be able to access a website. But you can still connect and modify.

731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Depending your future in bitcoin... on: May 16, 2018, 01:35:08 PM
I think bitcoin is really a good investment for now, but I don't think it is a good idea to put all your investment in bitcoin or crypto currencies since it is unpredictable and very risky to take. For me it's still better to start your own business than depend your future in bitcoin investment.

What do you think guys?

I agree with you, we should first create businesses, perfect and it and if we gathered some extra cash then we can invest. But let's face it Bitcoin is new, a high potential technology and we can't just ignore it. So what I do is I put at least 10% of my profits to bitcoin for the future.
732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Strategy on: May 16, 2018, 01:31:00 PM
Greetings! I am planning to invest $5,000 in cryptocurrency but I do not know how to invest. And where should I invest? - in Bitcoin, in alternate cryptocurrency, or in ICO? I’m asking for an investment strategy for professional traders or investors out there.

I guess this depends on your comfort. Do you want to work every time to earn? Try trading. Do you want to invest now and yield all the benefits later? Try long-term investing.

For me, I do both but most of the time long term and it is because I don't have that much time to analyze charts for trading.
733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to be used as world currency? on: May 16, 2018, 01:08:12 PM
I do agree that bitcoin cannot replace the fiat currency. The government will not allow any currency that they cannot control to replace their own national currency except if there is economic collapse. But if you notice countries are now making their own cryptocurrency such as Sweden, they are the first country that have launched the first ever government owned cryptocurrency. Soon other countries will follow their footsteps and eventually will  be used by people. But even though bitcoin will not replace traditional money but it will be still used worldwide.

I agree bitcoin can be used in many applications. If it does meet or is allowed to be a world currency then it can be a replacement on money transfer. I believe this is the best application for it.

736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe in ICO Ratings? on: May 14, 2018, 01:00:07 PM
I trust them somehow but still, you will need to check the ICO yourself. ICO ratings sites is a good site to do initial study and of course to know what to study. But don't rely to much on it.
737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is humanity prepared to be its own Bank ? on: May 14, 2018, 12:46:04 PM
I've been reading many cases in this forum about bitcoin losses, in fact too many cases. So, If all this happens to people with computer knowledge... imagine the masses, I mean "normal people" like your neighbours, grandmas, fathers, etc... The truth is that right now I can't imagine them playing with electrums, wallets, backups, etc.

So I wonder if we (like a society) are prepared to be our own Bank.

there isnt going to be a bank for humanity,

finance will stay the pyramid system it historically always was

I thought also, there will still be a center of everything. Just like exchanges. I think the only that will most likely change is the way the government is producing and handling all the money in the world.
738  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best hardware wallet on: May 14, 2018, 12:36:45 PM
I am currently using Ledger Nano S and I am not having any problem using it and its quite handy. The only problem is that, that time when a 15-year old boy attacked the wallet via backdoor.

Yes, that claimed the Ledger Nano S being hacked. But that attack was on purpose to alert the manufacturers about the flaw. They released an update now and got it fixed.

This is still up to you. But I can still suggest Ledger Nano S. Pros: Cheap, Handy, Cons: Might have errors, but can be fixed.
739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you say about Ripple? Should I invest? on: May 13, 2018, 02:08:48 PM
What do you say about Ripple? Should I invest?
You should not, as a centralized currency and that's not so good as a crypto. Ripple team is only focusing on the how many profit they can get from their business. This is a banker platform. I won't meantion any evidence but you can try to read all of the news related to the ripple. Try to invest in another just lik ethereum will much better.

I see many people who're into Ripple are also into other traditional stocks investments. So this maybe is the reason. Ripple is most likely to be similar to traditional stocks. Maybe ripple is really centralized.
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market Goes Down and Down on: May 13, 2018, 02:01:09 PM
2018 is the worst year for all crypto market. Looks like we are not at bottom right now.
Market looking for bottom and everyday we are falling down. Lets wait until we hit the bottom.

Do you think the crypto market will again bounce back? Is there any upcoming news for bitcoin? Seems the community is silent.
