721  Economy / Speculation / Re: When are you selling your bitcoins? on: May 23, 2016, 09:46:42 PM
I am selling coins when I need money and I can make a profit. I never think when I am going to sell my coins when I see the price and I think I can sell now that is when I am going to sell my coins.

i will also sell only if i need money but also only if i need money and i can't get that amount of money from other sources like my savings account in the bank. right now i am holding my coins firmly in my hand and never letting them go Cheesy
If you see bitcoins as an investment, then it's good but still simply holding the coins wouldn't help as the price may drop in the future. People lend their coins to earn interest rates and I feel it's better than holding. May be you can try that.
722  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: where to get cheapest bitcoin? on: May 23, 2016, 09:36:32 PM
I think Localbitcoin is the safest way for buy BTC.

Yes the localbitcoins has probably the cheapest rate as far as i know.  This is where you can even buy bulks of btc without trading hassle.  You can even witness the process scam is way far behind when you transact with the trader having an actual trade deals you can even ask for a lower value.
LC is no more a reliable website and they have too many scammers trading there (even users with 100% feedback have turned scammers). Also the rates there are similar to Virwox that has more trust than LBC.
723  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: May 23, 2016, 08:04:34 AM
It would be perfect if we can double our Bitcoins now but nobody will know what is going to happen with Bitcoin itself and that is the problem of the Bitcoin because that have to change also and that is nice.
But it is now not rising now so we have now to wait a longer time until the value will be more and that is hard because not everyone has the patience for it.
Free money can not be perfect. Only for greedy people, it would be perfect.
The idea of doubling bitcoin is originated from greediness in my view. This idea makes people losing their bitcoin by investing into HYIP or gambling bankroll. Instead of being ambitious on doubling, we must focus on earning more bitcoins.
724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Irish Newspaper cartoon: 'That's no use, he wants it in Bitcoin.' on: May 23, 2016, 07:33:37 AM

A funny cartoon picture from an Irish newspaper I spotted today:

-snip-

Basically there is an Irish tradition where at 12 or so your relatives give you some money, etc. In this cartoon the poor dad is scoulded for using cash when the son wants it in Bitcoin  Grin

That's one smart kid. Wink

That's what I figured  Grin
I'm not sure if I should be happy and laugh or feel sad about it. It feels funny because just as you said, their generation is probably going to be a generation of bitcoin users. By that, I mean many of them are going to be using bitcoins. It kinda feels sad because that's what the father can give and probably not be appreciated because 'it is not in bitcoin'.
Good publicity for bitcoins though!
725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: May 23, 2016, 07:25:52 AM
I just wanted to get your opinions on this one , what do you think Bitcoin would be if there was no Alternative coins such Litecoin & Dogecoin and the others ...
I mean it would be better with or without them Bitcoin would have no value at all ?

I think bitcoin without altcoin can continue to operate, cause altcoin there because bitcoin. But otherwise, if bitcoin disappears then altcoin also will disappear too. thank you, just crossed in my mind.
Quick question, what was the 'thank you' about? I'm mildly confused.
Anyhoo, I kind of disagree that alts will disappear if bitcoin disappear. Most will disappear but some alts like doge, lite, eth, they won't disappear because they're pretty stable and they can stand on their own.

They have their own value as of now so they probably will not be degraded, rather their value will go up because bitcoin users will switch to them.
726  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: May 18, 2016, 11:15:13 AM
No it wouldnt happen if 1BTC=$10.000 maybe you mean $10k it still small for affect to fiat value, maybe if it was $1M then I think it will be a different story but I dont think btc will reach that

Even I don't think fiat will become worth less ever. no matter if bitcoin price will reach 1million $ also. (which is almost impossible) fiat will not be worthless. because local currency have its own value.. I know some countries where local currency have not any value against Dollar. like Afganistan and Iran.. so any other currency won't affect another currency.
I guess your speculation is not practical. Because, when bitcoin has higher value by more popular, people will start moving towards bitcoin by leaving using fiats. This what happened for currency notes already with Internet banking and credit cards.
727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Dollar on: May 18, 2016, 10:39:25 AM
Dollar still be a winner. The dollar is used as the main currency in the world. the use of the dollar is very stable. almost all countries use the dollar today. I believe the dollar will still survive up to 100 years. and bitcoin will begin to undermine the strength of the dollar in the future.
In my opinion, dollar is started loosing it's place. Dollars may be the reference money and it has been used everywhere as a price index. But we are seeing everywhere how much people are facing problems in using dollars. Paypal kind of electronic money are becoming popular only due to the problems with dollars. Now it's time for bitcoin to take the place of paypal.
728  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: May 18, 2016, 09:10:32 AM
As of now, No. I consider my income in bitcoin as an extra income as i have my main source for a living and may bitcoin income is quite enough to sustain my daily expenditures.Hoping to increase my bitcoin income in the future.
yeah i was thinking the same as you though my income from bitcoin is big enough. I do not need to quit my job and live in bitcoin fully.while you can be very easy to set the time between real job and bitcoin.
bitcoin works in almost all of them are very simple

But I am still could not find enough earning with the bitcoins. If you share how we can make big amounts of money only from bitcoin related opportunities, but would be gratefully helpful. Making a living out of bitcoin still a dream for me.
Yes. Like many people here, I am also looking for making a living from bitcoin. Even I'm ready to quit my regular job if I find bitcoin earning is enough for leading a decent life in my country. But earning a living is not possible for all the country people in my view.
729  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: May 18, 2016, 08:59:48 AM
I believe in bitcoin and its team of devs. Although there are many problems right now with the bitcoin network, I believe in the ability of the devs to fix them.
Yes, no system will come with all the versatile functionalities from the beginning itself. Time to time fixing and adding features will make bitcoin more versatile in very near future. So, we must keep on believing in bitcoins always.
I too believe to developers of bitcoin system, keeping bitcoin so competitive and so secured as per modern Internet standards. So, we need not to worry about the future functionality of bitcoin as per the future requirements. The devs will definitely make bitcoin suitable for future demands.
730  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price to 600 ? on: May 18, 2016, 08:48:37 AM
Bitcoin was worth much more that $600 before and I think it is only matter of time when we reach that ATH value and beat it with new number.
$600 wouldn't be and end for bitcoin. We have to be patient now. Less than 10 weeks to halving.
Yes, when halving within reach, we must not hurry to sell off our bitcoins in the price ranges of $600 or $650.  Because we might get chances to sell our bitcoins around $1000 also. So holding now would be the better option IMO.
I do believe bitcoins prices may hit lifetime high prices again at the time of it's second halving. Because, the speculation of many investors will make bitcoin prices to go new higher price levels. So hold your bitcoins at least till halving.
731  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: May 18, 2016, 08:43:52 AM
No it is not because I do not want to spend any coins in real life but because I just cannot spend bitcoins where I am from the stores here just do not except them.
It would be better if you are spending it later when it will be more worth.
Yes many people here are not spending their bitcoins now itself. They are expecting more value for their bitcoins to spend later. This must be the one of the reason why we are not getting more shop to accept our bitcoins payments.
Yes spending bitcoin on real life based on how many people are spending and how many merchants are accepting bitcoins. But now, the trend is saving bitcoins for future use. Once bitcoin's values hits some bigger price, then many merchants will start accepting bitcoin payments.
732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Bitcoin? on: May 18, 2016, 07:51:27 AM
There are so many gamblers that uses bitcoins these days. Also with normal cash but coin gambling
is growing so fast cant get grip on that. Why would everybody want to lose their coins just for a gamble
i would never understand that.
The combination between gambling and Bitcoin has definitely paid off as you can see. Now there are still appearing more and more gambling sites were you can make use of Bitcoins as a currency.
Yes lot of new gambling sites are coming only for the reason of having bitcoin as payment system. Because there are lot of bitcoiners are interested in gambling where bitcoin payments are available to them. So, this combination will evolve more and more in future.
733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest gambling victory on: May 18, 2016, 07:36:45 AM
Greatest victory of all time is betting upon a toss between Pakistan and Australia on the past world t20. I just earned a decent amount of $20 in a very short time.
That is the one of the reason, people are always calling sports betting would be safer and assured way of gambling for making profits. Comparatively, cricket betting would be easier as there are very less number of teams, and usually Australia dominance all others countries.
734  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: May 15, 2016, 06:35:09 AM
In many countries people didn't even here a word - bitcoin, so bitcoin is very far to become an internatioinal currency, it's already reach a goal - the best crypto currency and it's okay. But i don't really think that's it will move far in 2 years for sure.
But, making people aware of bitcoin would be a just a week time of work.

Technologists are always faster than fire to spread out.
15 years back no one knows about mobile phone around the World except some developed countries. But, now even in undeveloped countries' village a man also using 4G mobile phone.

In my view bitcoin will spreadout more faster than mobile technology after a kick start.
A kick start = higher bitcoin price.
735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone have plan to make income on bitcoins :) on: May 14, 2016, 04:22:27 PM
The simplest answer to your question is "Yes." But aren't we all trying to make some income/profit on bitcoins, in one way or another?
If you're asking me what my 'plan' is, it's simply trading, signature campaigns, a little bit of alt mining and trying to stay away from gambling. I'm not saying that gambling is bad, but I don't want to take high risks.

I already lost a considerable percentage of my total earnings through gambling and I ought to not make the same mistake.
736  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What websites do you visit to check the price of Bitcoin? on: May 14, 2016, 04:14:57 PM
I usually just do a quick google search for a rough estimate and have around $2.5+- as for margin of errors. Whenever I feel the need for a high accuracy check, I do check the price at coinbase like when I'm going to do a transaction or something.
737  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020 on: May 14, 2016, 02:23:24 PM
It would be nice if Bitcoin can reach a high value in that year because now there are a lot of people that is still waiting for a price increase so that would be nice for them.
And of course you are not for sure that it can happen but you should take the risk that you are going to hold it.
I am pretty sure 2020 bitcoin prices are already above $ 1000, although it is still vague, but if this continues bitcoin rise it could happen, but right now we can only wait

Hmm maybe yes and that is realistic compare to $5000 price. Another halving will take place again that year. We can speculate clearly after we see the output of the upcoming halving this year if it will be the same in 2020.
Yes with another halving in 2020, the block reward of bitcoin network will go down to 6.25 bitcoins per block. So, definitely there would be huge demands for bitcoin at the time with large number of people already using bitcoins at that time. Maybe $1 million per bitcoin also possible at the time of third halving. The reduced supply will support bitcoin prices in greater levels.
738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Banks Hates Bitcoin? on: May 14, 2016, 01:07:37 PM
I think they didnt know how bitcoin works.. and they are affraid about scams.. because many scam and illegal about bitcoin thats why they are hating it..
they already knew about bitcoin, even they are interested in technology behind bitcoin yeah the blockchain, but they are aware of bitcoin, since they can't controll it, as we know that banks make money by charging fees for services they provide and by charging interest on money that they lend, if they adopted bitcoin they will earn nothing,
Banks are hating Bitcoin because there are now also a lot of people that is using some Bitcoin so they cant earn some money with it anymore and that is the baddest thing that can happen to them.
And that is namely because the world is also getting more digital so that is perfect for the Bitcoin itself.

Well yes, banks overcharge customers highly on the fees The same telecom operators did for years with buying minutes.
With bitcoin consumers do have an alternative which outperfroms the old way of sending/receiving money.

What I am interested about is how companies, eventually will embed bitcoin in their daily operations.
Yes, bitcoin will make banks suffering with lower profit making. When most of the people go for bitcoins payment system, then the chances of making average profits for banking would be much difficult. Obviously banks will start implementing bitcoins systems within part of their services.
739  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: May 14, 2016, 11:26:23 AM
I will use the bitcoin to buy some Etheruem and then buy into Slock DAO. After I have made some profits, I will give 10 bitcoin back.
it was the same as trading in altcoin etherum prices in recent months experienced a significant price increase. even the last time I saw price is in 0.003 btc and current prices now s around 0.02.
I think etherum is very potential
But I do not prefer to investing into any altcoins for the 10 bitcoins, I do get. Because I'm not ready for believing into any altcoins rather I always believe only with bitcoin. In future, bitcoin will definitely give more return compared to any other altcoins.
Yes, instead of wasting 10btc in any altcoins, we can simply keep those bitcoins in cold storage for some longer as if it comes for free. Yes, saving the free bitcoins will not be a problem for anyone. And bitcoin is stored for longer period, it will get multiplied by it's value which is not assured with altcoins investments.
740  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn Bitcoins fast and free?? on: May 14, 2016, 11:17:32 AM
If you want to earn it free then go for faucets and solving captchas

If you want to earn fast then go for gambling  Grin
Solving captcha is your work in faucet then, how we can consider faucet earnings are free.
Same way, gambling may give you faster bitcoins, but it may swallow all of your bitcoins in more quicker time.
Yes better stay away from gambling as well as from faucet earning. Because these are pseudo famous way of making bitcoins. But practically they are killing your money or time. If you consider your time and efforts are money then both gambling and faucets are swallowing your energy.
