Solo is back up.

Excellent news, have changed my sticks back Smiley.
723  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 0.5% fee solo mining USA/DE/CN servers 142 blocks solved! on: December 22, 2015, 10:16:22 PM
Seems like the pool is still down. Can a DDos prevention service like cloudflare or similar be used to protect the pool?
Who's gonna pay for it with the piddly profit this pool makes? The size of ddos prevention scales according to fee and this attack looks rather big...

Ah ok I understand what you're saying. Hopefully everyone has set your other pools as backups.

Fingers crossed it doesn't continue for long.

Yes I just pointed my sticks to the de pool instead of solo but using same hedgy stick address.
726  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Dec 11 to Jan 11 Sidehack Compac Stick pool club latest setup. on: December 22, 2015, 09:03:05 PM
So what do we have to do now?

You can point your stick(s) to either of these pools for now:

Germany: http://de.ckpool.org, mine to de.ckpool.org:3333
Hong Kong: http://hk.ckpool.org, mine to hk.ckpool.org:3333

Stats wont be counted for the club pool though.

Perfect thank you, good luck with your sales.

I have embedded the pictures for you below Smiley:

730  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 5 Bitcoin Casascius Coin 2012 S1(auction) on: December 22, 2015, 12:17:19 PM
hmmm :| embed isn't working for me I was already doing that, but I guess I'm stuck with links Sad

just upload your pics here: http://en.directupload.net/

Use the "hotlink" link and paste it in between [img ] [ /img] (without the spaces)

I don't know why this isn't working for me lol.

Images are disabled for new accounts, I remembered this thread  - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1172918.0

Looks like you'll just have to post the links sorry.
731  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 5 Bitcoin Casascius Coin 2012 S1(auction) on: December 22, 2015, 11:45:02 AM
I would suggest you take some more pictures with your forum username and date in and accept escrow.

Absolutely plan on doing escrow, thanks for the tip!

No problem, the new pictures will also definitely help.

Also if you want to auction here's a link to the auction section: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=73.0

I don't necessarily care if it's an auction or not, I really only did that because I'm not sure what the going rate is on these coins. Also, any tips on embedding the pictures?

Ah ok no worries. With the pictures if you insert the link between img tags (clink on the photo frame top left above the winking smiley within the text console box) then the image will show rather than a link.

For example this is your first picture, I used [im g width=500] in front of the link to reduce picture size to 500 px width:

[im g width=500]http://i65.tinypic.com/2zggq5g.jpg[/img]

No space between m and g though.

734  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Apple iPhone 6S 16GB - Rose Gold - Factory Unlocked on: December 22, 2015, 08:48:44 AM
It has pics with phone and name.

Best regards,
Kevin

So your forum username is kevincl01.

And the photo shows a poorly photoshopped image with Michelle on?

You need provide real photo's with your forum username and date on to be taken seriously because at the moment this looks like a scam.

735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: December 21, 2015, 08:26:19 AM
Any sites you recommend?
Strategy?

If anyone knew that they'd be rich and certainly wouldn't tell anyone Tongue.

In reality most people lose with gambling and end up chasing their loss resulting in losing even more.

What starts out as fun can quickly get out of hand and bring financial problems further down the line.
736  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience Compac BM1384 Stickminer Official Support Thread on: December 20, 2015, 06:13:18 PM
First batch five sticks chugging along on 7 slot usb 3.0 Superbpag connected through usb 2.0 to pi zero.
Second batch of four sticks doesn't work so far on 7+3 Anker usb 3.0 either connected through non powered usb 2.0 or directly to rasp pi 2.
Did anybody made this Anker work?

EDIT: 4 new sticks work fine in Superbpag on pi zero and do nothing on Anker (USB 3.0) on pi 2
next step, I will connect Superpag to pi 2, but this should theoretically work as this definitely worked for others.
a bummer- i don't want to buy yet another hub (a third one).

EDIT2: well, as i expected, four new sticks on Superbpag (usb 3.0) and pi 2 work just fine.
The problem is that 10 slot Anker (usb 3.0).
Oh, well, will dedicate it to phone charging.

I have the 10 slot Ankers running sticks from a pc but not a pi. Perhaps this is one of the many USB 3.0 hubs the pi's dont like Huh.

Remember it is Sunday and depending where he lives it could be the middle of the night or family time also he could still be trying to fix his pc and / or wallet. I honestly think you have nothing to worry about although I can understand your concern.
738  Economy / Reputation / Re: Urgent Help Needed ! on: December 20, 2015, 11:38:49 AM
Give him some time I'm sure this will get sorted out soon.
739  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS my PS4 on: December 19, 2015, 04:38:14 PM
Well no one asked so I didn't bother
It's too late to do it now so I'll do it when I have time

@guyaskingforlocation I live in Victoria.

You have been asked several times for pictures and you still haven't provided them.

This looks nothing more than a lame scam attempt at the moment and its up to you to prove its not.

740  Other / Meta / Re: Hilarious bots posting nonsense: what's the point? on: December 19, 2015, 04:26:11 PM
If people want to be a member on here then they wont mind solving a captcha or waiting for a post to be approved. Those 2 things alone would cut out so much of the garbage.

Until that is done members have to keep reporting posts and moderators / admins have to check the report and delete the post and possibly the user. So in turn many people have to be involved and have their time wasted when the process could be pretty much automated by eliminating it from the start.

Still, never mind it doesn't matter what I or anyone else thinks its the powers that be that have the final say and if the new forum with its improvements ever gets made then we'll see. There's been talk of a new forum for ages now, I'm starting to wonder if it will ever happen.
