721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to cash out perhaps ? on: April 03, 2019, 12:27:20 PM

I believe this is the time to cash out if you are in profit already

Well it might be the time to cash out for you but people who are long term investors are not ready to cash out any time soon. What if you cash out and the coin he/she invested in gains a massive improvement in its market value to about 90% increment? People like me are not into the crypto space because of profit but i'm into it for the ideas and motivates behind the use of cryptocurrencies. The price fluctuation is just how people represent the value of cryptocurrencies.
722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Less price = more profit? on: April 02, 2019, 11:28:14 PM
Prices just represent the value of the crypto coin at a particular moment in time. A crypto coin with less price does not really necessary mean it has the potential of making you more profits.  It is very possible that the price of the coin can further drop in value. If you want to invest and make profits, forget about the price and just research on trends of the crypto market.
723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: alt millionaire on the next bull run on: April 02, 2019, 11:20:59 PM
Please don't waste your time just  buying any altcoins without researching about them. Don't be fooled by the sudden increase of the prices of cryptocurrencies. If you want to become an altcoin millionaire then you need to have a relevant strategy to help you with all your investments. prices doesn't matter if you are investing into a crypto coin but what matters is the underlining idea behind the coin.
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can bounty hunting be considered a job?? on: April 02, 2019, 11:10:17 PM
on my opinion.. I think he's right.. Bounty hunting shouldn't be considered as a job.. because

1: payment isn't guaranteed
2: bounty hunting is more of luck than skill

Definitely, Bounty hunting should be seen as the easiest passive income investment. I this case instead of investing money, you invest some small portion of your time to earn passively. For me I don't see bounty hunting as a job because it does not have the characteristics to be qualified as a regular Job.

Quote
3: it could turn out too be a total waste of time at any moment

Bounty hunting is not a waste of time. When you spend all your time on a scam project without researching enough about it before joining  thus when it becomes  a waste of time and energy.
725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin conceptualization in the context of globalization on: April 02, 2019, 09:27:56 PM
What role do you think Bitcoin plays in the context of globalization? Bitcoin conceptualization in the context of globalization
Technology advancement is general the basic tool needed for globalization. Considering the  purpose of Bitcoin to the  financial ecosystem, it has helped people to do their transactions easier and faster on a peer to peer system which eliminates the third party systems and limitations associated in funds transfer.
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: it's been a long time I have access mew on: April 01, 2019, 10:19:01 PM
I usually store my tokens on an exchange because I'm an active trader.
It is a bad idea to store your tokens on an exchange platform. Leaving your tokens on an exchange platform is like parking your car with the key inside the car. Once the site is attacked by hackers, your tokens are definitely gonna go along with all the coins available on the platform at the time of the hack. In as much that you are a active trader, please don't leave your tokens of the platform whiles you are offline.
727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who are they behind ico? on: April 01, 2019, 10:08:19 PM
maybe this is not important, there is no benefit to this question. but I am very curious about who is the top person behind ico?
So like this, bounty hunters work in the field of project promotion, I assume we are at the root. while the team and developers manage the project to keep running, including finding funds from investors. the question is, who is the top in the ico project? say like bitcoin "he is the top of the other coins, even the creator of bitcoin doesn't receive the slightest profit from his own creations.
First and foremost, you need to understand that ICO is just a method of obtain funds from people who have an interest in a crypto project in the form of offering them an opportunity to own the project crypto coin as way of investing into the project. So basically, the team members behind the development of the crypto project are the people behind ICO launch and all the processes involved in ICO activities.
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where do we go from here on: April 01, 2019, 09:58:56 PM
The bull run is not gonna happen any time soon looking at the current state of the crypto market and the crypto ecosystem in general. This year is gonna be a year where most crypto coins will maintain a particular range of value prices which will indicate that the crypto market is in the process of becoming a stable ecosystem with just small range of change in the prices of most coins. The crypto market is stabilizing...
729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to survive cryptocurrency on: April 01, 2019, 04:08:27 AM
Heres a short and sweet answer, buy bitcoins, hodl.

Simple as that.
Surviving in the cryptocurrency ecosystem is not as simple as buying bitcoin and hodling it. People bought Bitcoin at $20k and they are still holding them in their wallet till now which indicates 80% drop in the initial capital they invested in it. Do you call this kinda hodl as a simple one ?

732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can you reverse or cancel a bitcoin transaction? on: March 31, 2019, 10:13:46 PM
Once you click on the send button, your transaction can't not be reversed or cancelled. I wish this aspect of Bitcoin could be upgrade to help people cancel their transaction request if the transactions has not yet been confirmed by the blockchain network. Such upgrade is going to transform the whole nature of the bitcoin ecosystem.
733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Comparisation with BTC and Other Payments Methods. on: March 31, 2019, 09:44:40 PM
The basic reason why people compare bitcoin to other payment systems  is because  the general idea behind the creation of Bitcoin was to present a system which allows people to either send any amount of funds or receive any amount of funds from anyone at any part of the world with no third party involvement. So bitcoin operates similar to these other payment systems therefore people do this comparison to identify the differences each platforms provides.
734  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Too easy to manipulate? on: March 31, 2019, 08:23:43 PM
It is very easy to manipulate Bitcoin because of the decentralized nature of the entire blockchain portfolio but certain conditions need to be met in order for someone or a group to manipulate it.  The first condition is that, the person who wants to manipulate Bitcoin needs to own not less than 40% of the amount of Bitcoins in circulation in the crypto ecosystem and the crypto market. With that, you can control the market value of Bitcoin at any moment in time. The second condition is that, you need to be very active on every active and big exchange platforms to monitor every activity going on with regards to Bitcoin trading. But the key factor needed to manipulate Bitcoin trading is you owning huge amount of Bitcoins.
735  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Will Bitcoin Be Back To $20,000 ? on: March 31, 2019, 06:12:25 AM
When do you think Bitcoin will go back to the $20,000 mark and what factors do you think could contribute to making it happen sooner rather than later?
Considering the current trends of the crypto trading avenue and the crypto market in general, there is no possibilities that Bitcoin is going to hit $20k. After the market price of Bitcoin hit $20k in the later part of the year 2017, the crypto ecosystem increased exponentially in terms of the number of people found in this ecosystem. Majority of these people got into Bitcoin mining increasing the amount of new Bitcoins mined into the ecosystem.  This affected the amount of Bitcoins in circulation which further affected the supply and demand chain of Bitcoin influencing people to sell their Bitcoin at a cheaper rate. This caused the market value of Bitcoin to drop throughout the year 2018.  The highest market value of Bitcoin I see it reaching will be about $10k.
736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you still hodling that shitcoin? on: March 30, 2019, 10:33:48 PM
The crypto ecosystem is very unpredictable. prices of altcoins  either shitcoin or non-shitcoin can change whenever there is an increase or decrease in the price of Bitcoin. Most people hodl their shitcoin because they have hopes that it will become valuable in some months to come. Me personally, I'm still hodling my shitcoins because i haven't gotten enough time to follow up on them and even to think of selling them.
737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is simply too difficult to buy to gain acceptance on: March 30, 2019, 05:37:13 PM
Why do you need acceptance? Do you really believe in Bitcoin??
Don't be a fool. Most of us mine and trade bitcoin here is to make profit, not to use it as real currency. Right now in bear market, I do short selling, just like stocks. Either way, I make money from it, and that's enough.

Definitely,  a lot of people in the crypto ecosystem are just in this ecosystem to make profit without thinking about the idea and purpose behind the creation of Bitcoin. Some also see it as an investment avenue to double or triple whatever amount they put into it. It will take about a century for the world to really use bitcoin in its right way.
738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think mining is still fair on: March 30, 2019, 04:17:11 PM
Considering the current state of the crypto market, crypto mining is a huge investment on its own and it's a long term investment section of the crypto ecosystem. It will take awhile to start making some profit from your mining investment. The crypto ecosystem has good potential of becoming a widely used and accepted entity in the financial world. If you are someone who wants to enter the crypto mining  business, you understand and know that you will start to see profit after months of your investment.
739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What made you fall in love with crypto? on: March 29, 2019, 10:54:09 PM
I fell in love with cryptocurrency after i read the whitepaper of Bitcoin. It described how the limitations presented by the banking systems and the centralized nature of our financial ecosystem can be made into a peer to peer system where people deal directly with other people providing goods and services. My love for cryptocurrency increased when Ethereum introduced smart contracts to the crypto ecosystem to help improve the nature of blockchain technology.
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Government does not like crypto? on: March 29, 2019, 10:37:02 PM
First and foremost, cryptocurrency and blockchain technology operates on a system which is described as being a decentralized ecosystem. This system has no central authority which will have a total control of how things are run on the system. Most government dislike the idea of the system not having a central authority in charge of controlling the amount of cryptocurrencies in circulation. They also believe that using cryptocurrency will make it difficult for the government to monitor people who pay taxes and those who don't pay taxes. In fact they describe cryptocurrency and blockchain technology as a system that will prevent people from paying taxes. Another reason why some government are not in support of cryptocurrency is the idea that it has no restrictions to the amount of money one person can send to another person within a short period time which is non-traceable.
