My suggestion would be to update the core, bitcoin v0.10 solved the POW drifting problem; peercoin has also new fixes that make help. It appears that pos and pow are both working again. Also - Wallets can not have POS on while syncing, this can cause forks!!! Please hard code POS off in the wallet until synced. I am 100% supporter of MAGI, I run a full node to support the network, currently have 53 connects. Keep up the great work, you are one of few that are truly honest with the community. Thanks MilkandPie4U Its good for all of us to read fine words. This was a very heavy period for Magi. All remember only use official links from Joe. Use others at own risk.

Guys,
I'm new to cryptos and am mining this coin as well as others. I run multiple web servers and was wondering if I can help the cause by running another pool for this coin? I'm only trying to help and not be a hindrance. Let me know if this is helpful and I will get one going.
B
Welcome in our awesome Magi community! Think another pool is always good.

My wallet out of sync for 16 hour now. Does anyone has a working wallet?
Yes, my wallet is synchronized (now at block 1448285). Using the only 1 node in conf file (104.128.225.215 - rest comented), I have 16 connections. On the other hand, network weight is very small ~2600. Is probably ok... I don't know what to believe ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Same for my wallet. Working fine. Looks like chain needs to become stronger again!

The only way to avoid splitting in future is to accept and execute my suggestions: 1. Hardcode main pools in client (need list) to be guarantors of the chain, not forever. For example, we have 10 pools in list, if 7 of 10 accepted block, that block true. 2. Try to find out vector of attack (pow or pos) and develop a protection system. 3. Test protection system several times with emulation of attack 4. Remove hardcoded pools.
Without this steps, we will have new splits again and again.
Thanks iam sure Joe will look into this. This is what i like. Working together on solutions

I understand this is frustrating while this is the situation we have at this moment, and becomes quite most recently. My looking back the chain turns out a lot of PoW blocks mined right after the fork point pointing to one /few miners own considerable hash to push the chain faster than the rest, and I go the direction that the big miners somehow reported by people might be the cause. I'd see this a dilemma we're facing when we try to maintain the whole network hash up to a limit but few parties can bring in huge hash from whichever channels they can acquire. This is the plan we are thinking of to take on at this moment:
1) Please connect to the chain that 104.128.225.215 and poolinfo.systms.org are on. Shortly, I'll get an updated block data / wallet for downloads.
Edit: You can use the block date from here to catch up http://coinmagi.org/bin/block-chain/
Place connect=104.128.225.215 in magi.conf, or
magid -connect=104.128.225.215
2) We will make changes to the PoW ASAP. I must admit and make such a note upfront here that there is no guarantee that we'll be 100% isolated from hard fork, and there is always a probability unless we grow up to a scale that no one can compete the rest in both PoS and PoW. I recognize a weak point that we keep the network hash to a lower limit to favor low-hash miner, and that is where we're suffering from, while I would remain to stay on this.
Please make suggestions.
Be sure you adjust the magi.conf

Check the post from Joe and follow that info
Your advice to me? Looks like its not easy to find the right chain. Joe posted some info about it last night. Best advice is take some time to read those first.

Wait for post from our developer! Issues are made to be solved!

I have transferred 150 coins to bittrex to become involved in trading and they vanished. I had sent them prior to the last fork when i was in wallet 1.4.1
I cannot find the transaction. They seem like they were lost to the fork? I cannot get them to come back with Repair Wallet.
How do i get my 150 coins back that was half my wallet! I am not ok with losing 50 dollars in coins to a software malfunction.
Where'd my coins go and how do I get them back?!
Enoch
At this moment i can not give you a good anwer on this. Looks like Magi has still a hard time or maybe under attack. Don't understand why but we need to find a solution. For all don't send any coins anywere at this moment. Chronosphere i will try to help you with your coins after the issue is gone!

By the way, suprnova start to mine our fork ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Your fork? What do you mean with that?

Enough of mining and supporting this coin! Spending and wasting a lot of time on the computer reading forums and trying to figure out how to properly mine, sync wallet, keep my coin (not mentioning how many I already lost twice).
This is exactly what somebody is trying to do. Panic and angry people. Don't go with it and stay strong together to find a solution. Together we can achieve more!

Can it be some party is trying to force a panic sell by doing this , im just thinking about those pumps, i dont know enough about this so maby i just talking %$#%^^ ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Why? You can't sent coins into exchanges to sell. These problems started about the same time a big pump n dump started, and a very large 'solo' miner, so I don't think it's far-fetched to think it might be connected. What are the options to track the huge miner?

Here's what I'm noticing, 1st my wallet keeps losing sync after new peers show up, if I close and restart with only the peers in my config it's ok for about 10 minutes. Suprnova and poolinfo on different blocks.
So let me ask the question that's been bugging me, is it possible that a huge solo miner is causing the fork each time and that solo miner is one of the peers that we keep connecting to? I'm asking because I don't know and it seems like that might be what's happening?

After the fist big pump Magi got the first fork. After recover another pump came followed by another fork. Community might panic and party can buy back cheep XMG after dev fixed the forks.

Strange ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) When i click on deposit on Bittrex it shows a few seconds last block 1 minute ago and after that it shows last block 85 minutes ago!
