721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin get banned worldwide? on: September 07, 2019, 10:55:14 PM
Looking at how the entire world is gradually transforming into a technological village, there is no way bitcoin is gonna get ban worldwide since blockchain technology is currently been adopted people and companies. Once Blockchain technology is still been using by people and companies, bitcoin will still be a necessary entity in the financial ecosystem..
722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Replace Gold! Here's Why... on: September 07, 2019, 10:45:02 PM
Overtime I've researched what has made gold desirable as a store of value.

Additionally I've come to understand the limitations of Gold, and why I believe Gold will be seen as the go to store of value less and less going into the future.

We're living in an increasingly high speed, digital world, where people expect instant access to their funds and their stored value.

Gold cannot and will not be able to offer this to future generations, who will not accept the limitations of Gold.

I believe Bitcoin meets the and surpasses many of the attributes offered by Gold.

For this reason I think Bitcoin will grow to become the primary store of value for people, and will begin taking market cap away from Gold.

I've created a video below where I list the attributes that Bitcoin has, that Gold simply does not have, and why Gold cannot compete with Bitcoin.

I believe proponents of Bitcoin have been too soft on Gold. Gold is severely limited.

Please watch the video and let me know what you think. Thanks

https://youtu.be/UyaNJMxWmSU

I don't really think you understand the main ideology and purpose of bitcoin. If you do, you will never say that bitcoin is gonna replace Gold. Bitcoin was not developed to be an investment entity but it was meant to be an alternate form of physical currency which has no central body controlling it and provide a peer to peer environment for people to transact business with lesser charges.
723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Back From The Dead? on: September 05, 2019, 11:10:42 PM
Looking at the Ethereum market ecosystem, the possible market value ethereum is likely to reach before 2019  comes to an end will be between $200 and $400. I don't really see it reaching 2017 market value.  Also considering the year 2019, Ethereum is one of the cryptocurrencies who's market value can't be really predicted.
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain technology is getting more and more misused by scammers. on: September 05, 2019, 10:54:12 PM
Finally, most projects present blockchain as a pill for every malady. But does it really make sense for that particular industry? Is it possible to implement the same project without a native token? Is blockchain tech a decisive factor in the final product’s infrastructure, or it could work pretty much the same without all those distributed ledgers and smart contracts? Does it really disrupt anything but your patience for the word ‘disruption?’

I don't think you really understand and know how blockchain technology works.  Scammers are no way misusing blockchain technology, they are just taking advantage of investors and newbies who do not spend time to either research or read about projects before investing into them.  Scammers just take advantage of ignorance of people in the crypto space..
725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are banks scared of crypto on: September 04, 2019, 10:42:48 PM
What is your thoughts on banks banning the sales of crypto do you think they are scared they will be replaced
What is your thoughts on banks banning the sales of crypto do you think they are scared they will be replaced
Banks are not really afraid of cryptocurrency. They just don't like the idea of decentralization where everybody can be in charge of their transactions without any third parties involved it the transaction.  They believe that with the introduction of decentralized platforms, people will no long need their services.

728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Happened with ETH ? on: August 12, 2019, 10:17:12 PM
Most investors and traders of Ethereum are currently trading ethereum with a stable coin pair, meaning an increase in the market value of bitcoin does not have any effect on the value of ethereum. In 2017, most traders use to trade ethereum against bitcoin which made an increase in bitcoin affect ethereum...
729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin so valuable just because it was first? on: August 11, 2019, 10:41:12 PM
The valuability of Bitcoin is not solely because it was the first workable decentralized digital currency but the introduction of blockchain technology into the world's financial space.  Blockchain technology is the major contributed to the valuable nature of Bitcoin due to the fact that the world is gradually accepting the use of blockchain techmology for data and financial analysis..
730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning bitcoin is hard but i still keep fighting on: August 11, 2019, 10:35:50 PM
obviously earning "money" is hard whenever you choose to earn it through low paying jobs, high risk jobs or hard jobs. and that is what your list is!

trading is a high risk job, if you are earning a living from something like stock market trading you are taking high risks and you could earn a lot or lose a lot.... same with bitcoin.

mining is a hard job, if you are mining gold or oil for example! it is hard, costs a lot of money and takes a lot of time but the revenue is good.... same with bitcoin

faucets, micorpayments, campaigns,... are low paying jobs, faucets are like gathering cans from the street and selling them, micorpayments are like the "online micorpayments" out there and they pay less. if you try to earn a living from these methods then obviously it is hard.... same with bitcoin.

in other words, earning bitcoin is not hard. the methods you chose were hard. try an actual job in real world and ask them to pay you in bitcoin. or use the money to buy bitcoin. then you'll see how easy it is.

Well said mate, thanks for enlighten us regardng what makes it difficult to earn bitcoin..  The procedure used in earning bitcoin defines how easy or difficult its gonna be for you to earn bitcoin. Someone can decide to invest $5000 into bitcoin mining and set 2 years plan and go by this plan and earn a lot. Another may also choose to invest the $5000 in daily trading and may find that easier than mining and still earn some amount of Bitcoin.
731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for Bounty. Why do it? on: August 11, 2019, 10:23:27 PM
Personal, I don't really see anything wrong with bounties requiring bounty hunters for KYC.   Most crypto projects want to know where and who exactly their coin or tokens are been sent to and also outline their possible market audiences.  Just like using your details in applying for a job, there is nothing wrong if a bounty campaign ask its participants to provide their details before they can receive their tokens...
732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties sometimes are unpredictable on: August 11, 2019, 10:07:22 PM
The entire crypto space is unpredictable not just bounty campaigns. The crypto ecosystem is one big mystery if you are thinking at the rate prices change in the market within some few minutes or hours. You just have to spend some time to analyse how relevant the bounty campaign you are participating is to the entire crypto ecosystem and the kind of solution it will provide. This can somehow tell the progress of the project in some time to come....
733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Only a Crime Tool on: August 08, 2019, 10:46:53 PM
Only people with shallow mind will see Bitcoin as a criminal tool for money laundering and other criminal activities.  Its high time people spend good quality of time to read and study the whitepaper of Bitcoin to help them truly understand the purpose and reason behind the development of it...
734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I love the speculators in Bitcoin. on: July 31, 2019, 06:29:36 AM
I just realized speculators add some value to all of us, when they cause spikes in the price. I am a hoarder through and through, but I like to support Bitcoin merchants by buying and paying with bitcoin for some food and drinks on a daily basis. This is the only way to make sure that there would be a continuous demand for coins, if we "feed" the merchants that supports us.

So my strategy has always been to use +/- 20% of all the coins I buy... and most of these coins are spend daily on food and drinks. I buy the odd hamburger and chips or Taco and drinks at a local street food merchant that accepts Bitcoin.

This gets me to the point of my topic and that is that speculators can have a positive influence on my spending habits and the amount of coins that I spend. If they push up the price, I get to spend less coins. A Taco and Cooldrink cost about say 0.0004 BTC today and when they drive up the price, I can spend less coins the next day, when that same food costs say 0.0003 BTC  Roll Eyes

Some people stop spending coins, when the price is too low and that is bad for the whole Bitcoin ecosystem.

Some people hate these speculators, but I love it when they push up the price and I can spend less coins. Grin

I don't really think speculators add any value to Bitcoin but rather scare new investors or people from joining the crypto ecosystem. Speculators introduce doubt and fear into newbies in the crypto space, which somehow prevents them from understanding the true nature and purpose of the use and creation of cryptocurrency or Bitcoin to be specific. Speculators are just bad nuts in the crypto ecosystem.
735  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bull Run ‘Hasn’t Started’ on: July 31, 2019, 05:21:12 AM
I'm a bit confused here, Bitcoin bullrun hasn't started !!!....  Is this person new to the crypto ecosystem ?? or he is just saying things to just get the attention of people in the bitcoin ecosystem?... The bull run of Bitcoin started for a while now and its kinda in a slow phrase currently.
736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC and Gold? on: July 31, 2019, 03:32:41 AM
Why do people really waste their time on making unnecessary comparison between Bitcoin and Gold forgetting that these two entities are different in so many ways.  Bitcoin in no way be compared to Gold, they are both unique in they own kinda way...
737  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will go below 100 $ and then > 1,000,000 $ on: July 31, 2019, 02:19:41 AM

I heard if anyone do Cocaine then they sometimes come up with this kind of speculations 🤪

Hahahahahahaaha ...I think I might strongly agree with you on this.... How can you think that Bitcoin will go below $100 ?  I think he doesn't really understand how the entire bitcoin ecosystem operates. He is just saying anything he feels like saying.
738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Croatian post office now offer crypto exchange on: July 31, 2019, 02:15:00 AM
This is super incredible that some countries are gradually adapting the use of cryptocurrencies. I just hope other country's authorities can see this and also try to spend some time to understand the basic purpose of cryptocurrencies and how they can gradually transform the entire financial ecosystem.  We are just hoping other countries join soon..
739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi IP address on: July 30, 2019, 11:58:25 PM
I really don't get it why people are eager to know the identity of Satoshi. If he wanted his identity to be known, he would have added it to the bitcoin whitepaper.  There is no way anyone here can find the identity of Satoshi. He planned to stay non-known, lets just accept it like that..
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trends in altcoins today on: July 30, 2019, 11:50:52 PM
Trading is currently the trending activity in the crypto ecosystem now. You can join this current trend by buying a particular crypto coin and selling them within a specific time interval. To join the trading ecosystem, you need to first understand and know the basic precautions needed and developing strategic plans to minimize your risk of losing your funds.
