2) personalmente mi va bene telegram , tuttavia potrei capire la necessità di usare IRC, nel caso mi adatterò volentieri
3) l'idea del foglio non mi piace invece, diciamo che ti te mi fido (diamine sei Hostfat) e preferisco che sia tu a creare quel foglio e manutenerlo, tanto non credo che saremmo tantissimi. Capisco che si tratta di una responsabilità e quindi in caso decidessi per il foglio pubblico sarebbe ok lo stesso.

5) tanto vale fare 2 chat, una pubblica e una privata a meno che la pubblicazione della unica chat privata filtrata non sia semplice (irc lo pemette?), ma almeno nella fase iniziale la farei privata poi se c'è il consesno del 100% dei partecipanti potrebbe diventare pubblica.

Not sure how long you've been following SoG. They are making enormous progress, developing a revolutionary and delivering a top-notch fun to play game. Creating a fabulous game is and should be top priority and they are succeeding in doing so. As far as I know all concerns mentioned above in regards Marketing the game by the time its ready to be marketed is also being worked on and options are being explored and carefully considered.
From the beginning, just look in this chat, and I'm the author of that spreadsheet. I'm a speculator, I place my bets on some crypto project, I repeat, Sog is a great project but the team have a serious problem in the promotional aspect. |

I think that Viva! is right, we need a marketing strategy to boost the game and Bitcrystal price, too.
I remember Factom, for example: some weeks ago I buyed this criptomoney with some difficulties, just because there were nobody in the book, on Poloniex. The same situation we live today for Bitcrystal.
Then Factom opened its trading to a secondary exchange in China, and since that moment the volume spiked up - and price too.
I mean: is it possible to make it possible to trade Bitcrystal on a Chinese exchange? It would be FONDAMENTAL, in my humble opinion... Bitcrystals today are tradable only on Poloniex and Bittrex, it seems to me, and this is non possible if we want to obtain a good visibility and also a good return in Bitcrystals' price.
Are you working in this sense?

Hi Fassa, and Super Kudos to you. This is definitively an awesome idea. Yodark you should consider it, probably list bitcrystals in a Chinese crypto market have some upfront costs, but I'm sure that it worth the effort. 1) more liquidity for bcy 2) a lot of new attention with near zero marketing efforts besides the initial listing process And if you want you should just translate http://bitcrystals.com/ in mainland language, not so costly i think. EDS have not to pay "a cut" for this kind of marketing solution. Whit Factom is working very well, Why it shouldn't whit bcy. (after all chinese people are furious player and gambler, China IS the market for Spell of Genesis, sog assets and Bitcrystalls) |

Currently, SoG runs a Bitcrystals swapbot where they put some of the BCY earned from cardsales back up for sale to the public. https://swapbot.tokenly.com/bot/spellsofgenesis/bitcrystals#chooseI think the buyback feature you are referring to will be implemented later on in the final release, right now players can not yet purchase blockchain based cards from inside the beta version of SoG. Buying cards for fiat is not yet implemented in the game. So I doubt that EDS would have any reason at this point to be buying BCY on Poloniex. But I guess SoG staff could better answer this question. The buyback feature is mentioned in the OP post on this coin, I am expecting that the game purchases are basically the same as burning BCY. A - When a player purchases a card pack via Google Play/AppStore Each time a player purchases a card pack via Google Play/AppStore using their local currency, EverdreamSoft will buy back 50% of its value in BitCrystals from backers (anyone who owns BitCrystals) and burn them in order to issue a new card pack. Obviously I would prefer the buy back happen on a market, as it would drive both volume and price...! this was a big reason I bought in, because owning the coin is investing in the game, which is brilliant. The exact mechanics of the BCY buy backs still need to be defined and I also am looking forward to getting some feedback on the plan how exactly this will be implemented from SoG staff. Well this is a real importan aspect of BCY, as it will directly impact the value of BCY in a huge way. Can you imagine 1000 users a day buying BCY with their in game purchases, it is brilliant. Agree, but the main problem now is to have a good game and a decent marketing, things capable to generate revenue stream either in cripto and in fiat money. Actual card selling (without official game e no marketing activities) is going down nearly to zero revenue month by month. That's the elephant in the room. And in my opinion the main problem is that right now we do not have a marketing strategy and frankly I don't see any direction on the cards issued. Is there any story here? Cards now in my opinion are a random walk trough some cryptocurrencies, cryptoservices, Mr Ryo (who the hell is this guy?), and other uncorrelated items. I'm little bit concerned about this. |

The main issue is: ......
Basically their offer is to promote Spells of Genesis trough their community platform, which has a good amount of users. It could definitely give a boost to the game, but since it’s mostly UK based, does it justify to give a cut to the worldwide sales ? They say they have good relation with Apple and Google UK (note all publishers say that) and that way the game could be pushed on the front door of the stores giving a lot of visibility and downloads. According to them, having a good visibility in UK store usually might lead to acquire a good visibility in other European countries and US too.
Advantages of working with channel 4:
- Small cut on the revenue, comparing to other publishers
- Reach towards their content channels with several millions users
- They are looking for new content, so it might be relatively easy to talk with them
Disadvantages:
- New to the games field, their ability to successfully promote the product still has to be proven
- Reach limited mostly to UK (could snowball but still to be proven)

I think that the correct answer is in the contract between EDS and Channel4, It needs some way out if sales didn't met certain targets. The biggest (or the second) crypto market is China, EDS have to be free to sign contracts in that area whit other community platforms. (IMHO) |

Hallo to all, I know that the main goal now is the game, not the cards. But I'm sorry to say that EDS currently is not doing any valuable marketing job-
Twitter followers are nearly stable, likes on the 2 FB pages (english and Japan) are ridiculous, the slack channel is nearly death.
In this situation (no game, no marketing) is perfectly normal that cards do not sell quite well.
Marketing is equally important than the product, I think the SoG need Hype now. For example (only one example) a chinese marketplace and a chinese cards (or a translation in chinese of the current cards).
