721  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: April 29, 2014, 06:48:29 PM
On the other hand I am working with them to repair one of my miners (2 bad cards and 1 bad card on a working one). So far they have been helpful if a bit delayed. At the moment I have 3 bad cards due to a default setting my miners had...I corrected that and things seem to be working for the remaining cards. For me personally it has not been all bad. At the end of the day its just been communications issues as has been stated. I can't speak for anyone else but myself, so far my own experience has been while a bit delayed they have eventually replied. That being said I do get that people are fed up and want answers.

Hopefully this all gets resolved to everyone's satisfaction. There is more bad blood here than a hemophiliacs convention (no offense intended to hemophiliacs).

Why are they helping you and not helping mrpark or myself to get my miners fixed?
Because he is lacking zip king ass that is why. And Zipkin is desperately trying to show off with second miner delivered in amt history.
The sad pard is that opium believes in Zipkin lies especially the one that cards got broken due to software settings. The saddest part is about to come. He will be fucked again for sure and probably he will enlighten us how it feels like to be  Grin
No seriously Zipkin is lying g you opium and he will continue to to do so
Period.
The massage which zip king is sending through opium (he is using him of course) is behave lick my ass and you will have special treatment  Grin

Hia,

So, just to clarify and confirm:

That is roughly 20GH at circa 65W?

Apologies for the negativity here, but that does not seem to be very efficient?

Seems like the BitFury based ones are much more efficient and cost effective?

BR//D.

It is about chips and technology dude
And yes furies are more efficient
723  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: April 29, 2014, 03:43:01 PM
I am sorry, but AMT's words have zero weight at this point in the game.

Well for us that is true. However the courts will have to go through and deliberate all that until its proven. Which takes time. Cant say I blame you for it though. The communication has been difficult. With any criminal charges that result in prison or whatever, it basically means the company goes into receivership. We might get hardware and the MPP maybe fulfilled depending on what funds are there OR the assets sold off and we get money back OR the company gets assigned new management under the courts supervision. No matter how its sliced that will take a long time to resolve. In the short term people get the short term satisfaction that justice has been done, in the long term we still get nothing until all that gets sorted out. And even then we are lucky if we get anything back at all. You might personally benefit as you are directly filing charges. But the rest of us get screwed in the process even those filing the class action. Just something to think about.

To add if the company goes into recivership that might be an option that helps everyone out. But right now its a lengthy process as the court system is not known for its swiftness.
Hey,
Amt are scumbags. No matter if you sue them or a criminal charge or whatever you will not get a nut from them
So you are asking people to stop just because everyone will lose?
Apart of the money lost there is something called dignity and honer. This two words do not have a price. That is what folks are fighting for. So I am sure that poserkoto Zipkin will get out clean in terms of money loss. He will pay to lawyers and it will turn out that amt is just a ballon without owning a fucking cent. But I do believe that his ass will go to jail at the end
By the way how is your crap doing lately?
A pool graph if you do not mind will be great
724  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: April 28, 2014, 03:50:05 PM
Our payment was sent to AMT so we cant sue Zipkin directly. Now if he truly didn't make a LLC or some other proper business entity then yes, the same lawsuit would apply to him directly. Either way, the owners personal assets would be assessed as well for payback even if they declared bankruptcy.

AMT is not registered to do business in PA, so yes, they do not have a proper business entity.
Nice so criminal charges then even better
725  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: April 28, 2014, 03:32:02 PM
Guys
Take  a legal action against Zipkin as individual not against amt
If that is possible at all that will be the thing to move his ass quickly where it belongs
Ask you lawyers what options do yo have
726  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: April 28, 2014, 01:18:49 PM
Reference?
That must be a joke. There is no such reference. And besides 1.2T miners turn out to be 0.9T miners in best case scenario.
Apart of all a criminal lawsuit  against poserkoto Zipkin like person should speed things up a bit Grin
Ask your layers about this also what are options. Then he will feel the sweet cage pain for sure Grin Grin Grin

Plugged my miner is after I got a blackplane from another AMT customer.  Note: AMT has not shipped me a backplane.

This is the result:

The backplane started going up in smoke when I plugged it in.

Notice the burn marks at the top.

No wonder they conveniently forgot to include a backplane.

This passes the borders.....

731  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Problems Overclocking Antminer U2 to 2.6GH/s!! on: April 26, 2014, 09:17:55 AM
I have 10 Antminer U2's that I was running at 1.6GH/s when I got them, after my Arctic Breeze fans came in, I overclocked them to 2.2GH/s and now recently I noticed you can just keep going, there's overclock support for up to 4GH/s if you can get it working with proper cooling.

Now when I found out about these new values for overclocking further then the "supported" 2.2GHz (x0A81), I decided I would start testing slowly one step up at at time until I notice the heat increase so I stepped them up to 2.4GH/s (x0B81) and ran those for about a week, didn't heat up at all, the fans are keeping the heat sinks cold to the touch from ambient room temperature.

The problem though, is earlier tonight I decided it's time for the next step and upped it to 2.6GH/s with x4C81 only to have crazy hardware errors (something around 13-15% on boot and they just kept climbing). After this happened, I would have to disconnect everything, plug each hub back in with nothing in them, and plug each Antminer U2 back in the hubs one at a time while the hub was powered on just to get all 10 working again otherwise only 4 would come up if I tried to open my .bat file again after changing the overclock value back down.

So does anyone know why my Antminer U2's run flawless at 2.4GH/s (x0B18) but as soon as they're set to 2.6GH/s (x4C81) they go crazy and then only 4 work until I unhook everything and hook them up one at a time? They're handing 2.4GH/s just fine, still cold even so I don't see why 2.6GH/s would be so glitchy when they're barely even making heat with how I have them cooled.

EDIT:
I forgot to add, I tried 2.8GH/s just to see if maybe it was a 2.6GH/s issue, perhaps skip it and go on to the next but that wasn't the case, as soon as I opened BFG Miner when set to 2.8GH/s (x4D81) they went from all 0 to 100% hardware errors instantly.

I just don't understand why it's such a drastic jump in issues. I've been back on 2.4GH/s for about a half hour now and I still have 0 hardware errors but 0.2GH/s more and it jumps to a 13-15% starting rate for hardware errors and keeps going up, then another 0.2GH/s more and they start off at 100% hardware error.
Can you increase a voltage. They need more juice in my opinion
Volt mod or something
732  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: April 25, 2014, 02:38:04 PM

And how this affects your POOL graph?
733  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX8A1 - 130/260 GHs Coincraft A1 board-389/807 EUR April on: April 25, 2014, 10:43:09 AM
Hi thanks for replies and info, it helps.

so on 130  unit there are 4 chips?

also why are there two 6 pin PCI-e  and what are the terminals ?

what info have you based power (12v 17amp) on?

I would like to ask Marto what sort of power supply he would use please?

Yes (lol) i have run two 130 boards on the 300w PSU conected like something out of film adaption of Jules Vern novel.
one PSU is not working now (over heated) in an other 12v line wire began to melt at hexminer voltage 1000. I got a few of these 300w PSU for cheap price (10 euro each), yes u get what u pay for some times.

but it has meant I did not get chance to break more expensive PSU ( I am a beginer really)
When I ran the two 130 units hexminer voltage "890" PSU heating up was less and ran 4-5 hours but with low hash rate
 about +/-100gh/s.

so for correct power supply I should know all factors of power requirements of parts on unit eg. chip, fans etc.
ok thanks again and if you can help with further infomation that would be ace!

EU40Niner
After all the explanations i am wandering how you still are not on fire Smiley
Listen to zich
Chips need power - that is why two connectors are there. Zich have measured them in the past

In short for eight chips measured by zich

Here is the result on 12V rail:
260/1005 = 33   A
265/1030 = 37   A
265/1040 = 38,5 A
265/1050 = 39   A
270/1050 = 40,5 A
You can go lower of course that is OCed Wink

So divide this by two and add 15% safety margin at least for 4 chips

I recheck 2 PSU and lots of Cables

Switch to 250/100 and so on dosent work

Greetz Glen

Do as follows
1. Unplug USB
2. Restart cgminer
3. Wait for it to start
Plug USB cable
If you are on tplink USB hub is a must
Post Dmesg output also will you?
Set it to 240/970

oops many HW Errors, i restarted the Pro under Windows and try to go higher with Voltage

Damn how i can get add am JPG here ?

What is your voltage and clock?
Try it with 230/970
For some reason it refuses to start when voltage is low. You can go up to 1050 mv no problems do not be afraid
And use tplink or Linux if you can. If you insists on windows reinstall USB driver
738  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: April 24, 2014, 06:39:34 PM
Why do they not follow the same rules at Bitmine.ch?

Q: I changed my mind, can I request a refund for my order?

A: YES, if your order is in the “Reservation queue” and you didn’t pay for it yet, you can cancel your order at any time. If you opted for the “Preorder queue” and already paid for your order, you can cancel it only if we are too late in shipping  according to our Customer Protection Plan.

Because the money is spent.

i'm sorry does yourpaltoots work for AMT_miner? i'm confuse or did i miss something
Yes you did. A couple of guys received the crap which is not/half working. One of them had tremendous privilege to get from Zipkin hands in person Grin they begun to lick Zipkin ass in hope for the good. Buying psu's is not helping them so this is the only option left. However poserkoto Zipkin just does not give a shit Grin

Ha ha ha,  to funny.  AMT is such a joke.  What do you expect with BOZO the clown running AMT at the Helm, AKA JOSH ZIPKIN.  Not that they have any other employees who are any more qualified. You can't compare AMT to the other bitcoin mining builders because THERE IS NO COMPARISON.  First off, they have NO COMMON SENSE!  NONE!  Nor did they ever plan on it.  Anyone of us could run AMT better.  Their game is a money grab.  Answer this: When?, since the conception of AMT have they ever been there for any of their customers.  You think that is going to change?  GOOD luck.  I am in the same boat with the rest of you, only I can see AMT for what they are: A SHAM who have taken our money and are throwing tidbits to us from time to time to instill hope to those who still want it.  I don't think there is one customer that would turn back the clock and say "I think I will order from AMT again".  Tell me if I am wrong.

@ATM- Nobody wants your empty promises or your now outdated, improperly shipped, plagued with problems, "do our job and build it for us" Heap O Crap and/or kits.  We want our money refunded.  I no longer want your over-sized brick, I want my 10K returned to me along with these other customers who you have taken such good care of.  The customers that have given you more than the benefit of the doubt.

AMT not keeping their promises?  SHOCKER!!  Oh by the way, if they don't come through for you tomorrow, WAIT LONGER!!  Also just so you know, NO REFUNDS!!  If you have a problem with that, call one of the many friendly customer service reps at AMT and they will answer your unanswered questions promptly.    If by chance, you get their answering machine, no worries, they will call you right back.  HAPPY HASHING!!
