I see people setting a sell goal of $100k for the next bull season, but I have a higher target because I believe the upcoming bull season will be a super cycle. Furthermore, I will only sell when the price reaches the target, I will not rush and excitedly sell the majority of my bitcoin just because it surpassed $69k, which was the old ATH. It may be high compared to many, but I believe bitcoin will be able to reach $150k-180k in the upcoming bull run and that is when I will sell my bitcoin. In case bitcoin fails to achieve that target, I will continue to be a long-term holder for next season. That's why I decided to choose DCA monthly and not worry too much about the price in the short term. I feel as if I am repeating myself, and I know that we are not talking about selling in this thread, but sometimes there seems to be some need to make a point, which you keep talking about selling all your bitcoin which and then you talk about holding after that which largely seems to mean that you would sell and then try to buy back later. Let's say that a hypothetical person got into BTC in early 2016, and such person had a salary that when from $10k to $30k in the past 7 years, so if such person had not made too many other investments, maybe such person had made some mistakes along the way, but maybe ended up accumulating 2 bitcoin.... so it could be possible that such person never sells all of his/her bitcoin but instead maybe shaves off 10% of his/her then holdings at various points in time.. at $100k, at $150k, at $250k.. .. so even if there might be questions of BTC price direction, the amount of BTC that is sold is less than the profits that had been made in the integers.. and surely you could look at 2 BTC and you could say that from $30k to $100k the profits had gone up $70k per coin, so a total of $140k for that price move, so if there is a decision to sell 50% or less than the profits, you will never run out of bitcoin and you will still be able to skim off pretty decent profits to either be able to buy back if the BTC price goes down or just use such value for consumption purposes.. . yet, I still would suggest that if you are still in accumulation stages, then it is problematic to be selling too many BTC on the way up and expecting to be able to buy back lower.. but if you think you got it all figured out regarding when to sell and when to buy back that is up to you.. and I think that I probably have already deviated enough from the topic in terms of talking about selling ideas, since this thread is not about it and I still think that conservative selling on the way up if any is still somewhat potentially somewhat still aligned with ideas and accumulation focused theme of this thread. Basically, Jose Mourinho is like a hero for the AS Roma club. This is also what shaped the US general policy over the past 80+ years, a "grease the pol behind you" kind of policy. This also clarifies why US sees any country that improves as a "national security threat"! Because if for example Africa regains its independence and strength, West Asia gets rid of US backed terrorists, etc. that means they will all kick the colonizers out which means all the resources US has been stealing all these years to build that "empire" will no longer be accessible to the regime for free. I agree with what you said, my comparison may not be entirely correct but I just want to say that many fans of the US still stubbornly refuse to accept the weakening of the US government and the rise of other countries, especially BRICS. You can't really easily say that US will lose power soon, it's too early to say that, especially when it has the best military, best weapons, has influence on the whole world and so on.
I'm not saying that "US will lose power soon", I say US has been losing power for years and it is now only speeding up. Take dedollarisation for example. Something that people denied is happening 1-2 years ago and we only keep hearing about in the mainstream media recently has been happening for at least 15 years. It's easily seen on statistics too. 15-20 years ago US dollar was used in 75-85% of the entire international trades. Today that is barely reaching 50% and is dropping fast. Not to mention that even Bitcoin falls under the category of dedollarisation and also was created 14-15 years ago. Same with military, weapons, influence, etc. that you mentioned. You see inflation and capitalism didn't just hurt regular people and industries. It's hurt everything. For example a simple UAV costs a shit ton of money to manufacture inside US, and the capitalist ridden companies have turned into the biggest scammers like Lockheed Martin that is more of a thief at this point rather than a solid aerospace company. Off the top of my head I could mention the story of manufacturing The Beast aka RQ170 that you can read in books like Drone Wars. In short hundreds of billions of dollars were wasted Lockheed Martin for R&D on failed projects for years to lead to the final "successful" one that created what US considered to be the most advanced stealth aircraft. In its first attempt to spy on Iran back in 2011, not only it was easily detected by the Iranian defenses but also it took them seconds to hack it, take full control and land it safely inside Iranian soil. They then decrypted its data, reverse engineer its technology and mass produced it at ridiculously cheap prices! This extends to the similar aircraft like B2 Bombers and of course the so called "stealth" fighters like F35. And US Airforce is supposed to be strong and advanced lol. There are numerous examples I could give in other fields. Take influence for example. 5 years ago nobody could imagine Saudi regime (the 51st state) going against Petrodollar let alone threatening US with "economic devastation". I like the point that you are emphasising here and it is true that if we are ready to invest in the DCA way, especially if we have started it, then I think there is no specific reason to look at how vulnerable the price is because consistency must be maintained.
The problem that often happens is when we're already working on DCA and we get bogged down with the thought of price, which in the end will make our strategy fall apart in the end.
My initial period in 2002 was like this because I was dizzy with my thinking that was based on price but over time that became the main problem I had because when I was based more on price we would be dizzy so I tried to learn from the beginning and indeed for now it can be said that my method is much better than before with DCA which should not be too concerned about price.

I don't think that Haney is fast though, and I think he hasn't face a fighter that is very quick. He was almost beaten by an old Loma and there are those who think that Loma was robbed during that fight because he was wobbled and Loma try to rally late in the fight. But I do agree that this could be a chess match, Prograis trying to hit that one punch, and then Loma trying his best to avoid it. So who ever adapts and had a good ring IQ might win this fight. I actually think that he is fast and we also know that guys who are more muscular and have a lot of muscles are generally not that fast. So I think Haney is going to be alright. One thing that might be a problem is him not being very confident. As you said, he almost lost against Loma. That is definitely going to give his opponent more confidence. Prograis is definitely going to be harder to beat. Each of them has to predict what the other is going to do. That's the way both of them will be able to avoid the opponent effectively. |

So many surprising results in this week.
1. Arsenal play really awful, honestly Tottenham able to beat Arsenal, but Romero make many stupid moves which cause Arsenal can scored 2 goals. I think he should play as defensive midfielder, just like John Stones in Manchester City. The North London Derby was entertaining with a great deal of actions from both sides, we would have expect good results from Gunners but they relents and didn't give enough energy to match the level of Spurs. Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta thought it would an easy game against Tottenham Hotspur, relaxing their nerves each time they take the lead, Spurs reciprocate by equalizer from Son. He scored a brace in the game and crucial assists from Maddison. I enjoyed every minute of the game, but both couldn't make difference, tied to a draw game. It was a very exciting match. Twenty two teams played very well. After losing Harry Kane, the main striker of the Tottenham squad, we expected to see a further decline in the team's performance this season. But this season Tottenham seems to be stronger. Tottenham team is now fourth in the points table. Won 4 out of 6 matches and drew 2. Tottenham's performance has been very consistent so far Arsenal played very well and tried to win in the end. But Tottenham's defense was solid. I also believe that Haney cannot handle getting hit by a powerful puncher like Prograis. He got wobbled by an old Linares and he looked hurt against Lomachencko as well. And he is also moving up in weight which means he is also fighting a bigger guy whom I believe will be stronger than him.
But maybe Haney learned a lot from his past experiences and is becoming better with his defense. While Prograis had a bad performance in his last fight some believe that he might be past his prime already and he is also in his mid-30s.
The question is, will Prograis be able to land punches on Haney? I mean, we know that Haney has mastered his defensive skills in boxing and has improved as he identified weaknesses in his previous fights. So, many still believe that Haney would win, despite being the challenger. While Prograis is known as a KO artist, Haney has faced KO artists in the past and has successfully handed them defeats. Yes, we will have to see that, I think Regis will really go out early and test the chin of Haney from round 1 and see if it can hold or not. And we all know that a power puncher like him will have to land at least one good punch. Haney is very defensive, but we can see that he sometimes slip as well. Even in the Kambosos fight, he got tag a couple. So it will be interesting on how Haney will deal the power if he tasted it, or will just play pure defense and win on the judges hands. Haney is really fast. And it is also hard to land punches on a fighter who is faster than average. Personally, I think a fighter who is faster can actually gain an advantage over his opponent. But both of them are great fighters. And just because one is faster, compared to the other does not mean that the other fighter who can punch really powerfully is not going to be able to adapt. I think we have a very interesting fight upcoming. Haney will have to get out of the way of his opponent's hand if he wants to win this fight. I do not think that Kane deal was this obvious, I know that he is a great player and he would do fine but I did not expected him to make this much of a huge change to be fair, turns out it was bigger impact than I expected and the team was right about insisting on trying to get him.
I think it should be important to note that Tottenham was almost not selling him, it was an achievement to keep pressuring them to sell him and keep increasing the offer more and more and more constantly to eventually get him. I agree with you. Firstly getting 1 point in an away match can be considered as a good result in Champions League. And Newcastle managed to gain 1 point. Secondly I would say after a long time the team is playing on a big platform like Champions League. Players are more excited and at the same time they are under pressure. It is much more difficult to perform well against a big team like Milan. Newcastle team managed to stop Milan.
