I don't think so, bitcoin has competition and bitcoin needs competition,
the competition of bitcoin are altcoins as instrument of investments
it will makes bitcoin be alive and there are choice for making investments into digital coins,

Enthusiast are now been reassured that no matter what kind of rejection from the authority Bitcoin receives, it will still retain its value and even getting stronger. I bet those who think that Bitcoin will crash is now having a second thought about their belief. They are eating their own thoughts as of now when they saw the current price of bitcoin which totally goes back up again after the rejection which means bitcoin doesnt depend on those events and no matter how they reject bitcoin it would still be the same the price would always goes up as long the adoption is there. There are some some people who use altcoins for investments on them (trading altcoins) include me,
but there are some people use altcoins for build the projects on altcoins network it is minority,
mostly the people use altcoins for trading and make money from them.

I think there are not driving altcoins fluctuation of price depend on the updating from developers, investors, traders and some speculators that pump and dump the coins, also the news from media about the altcoins good news will make up trend and bad news down trend basiccally there are not groups registered on exchangers that has plan to pump and dump.  |

My account (5000 euros) has now been wiped out due to failing stop losses on kraken. (ETF dump)
This is not the first time that this has happened for me and a quick search reveals that this happened for alot of people.
I have notified kraken, that I expect full compensation or I will report them to the police.
I just want others to know, that trading on kraken.com is highly risky as stop orders fail repeatedly.

I heard a lot about trading and mostly it was about that trading is the best way to make your botcoins work on you. But I still didn't try to trade, I have a wish, just looking for something checked and save. I am not a professional as you can see. On this forum there are tans of information about trading and from this you can find which areas for trading more or less predictive.
We are actually in the same thinking about in trading, this is what most often said by the community here. But its kind a bit confusion to me, I still don't know how to read the graph, and the right timing when to sell or buy, even in prediction I'm too weak for it for now. So it is really unpredictable. Basiccally trading is unpredictible job but doesn't mean there are not method for make bitcoin/money from trading, unpredictible in here is mean we must do cut lost because there are not prediction 100% accurate, you can see on the main page what is needed on trading although I have strategy trading and not same with OP, it is more about strategy trading in my opinions. |

Dashcoin is going trend down, I don't think the party is over because dashcoin's price is going up again,
Yes, around 40mBTC btc price levels, dash seemed to fall back but it again pumped toward 64 mBTC levels. I guess those manipulators will start profit booking around 80 to 90 mBTC. I remember same thing happened with dogecoins and LTC by Chinese traders. But not sure who are behind this time with Dashcoin. Everyone is looking for the fee fall of Dash, but it is getting strong everyday, but I am sure how long those manipulators will be able to hold with single hand. Drastic rises are always ending up with steep falls. Yep, dashcoin is just fluctuation of price, all of coins are fluctuating include bitcoin it is needed by all of traders include the investors (the traders long time investments) because without fluctuation they can not make money/profit from trading, the traders just need way how to trade constant profit from trading activity |

but doesn't mean transaction fees will kill bitcoin its self,
bitcoin will be difficult killed because of the high fees transaction to sending bitcoin,
bitcoin is suitable for big amout of transaction, so don't use bitcoin for small transaction.
You are right but still we can think about it in positive ways , let's think that if we will pay more fee with the transaction Then all credit goes to the miners which are helping us to perform our transactions successfully . So with the pay of transaction fee we are supporting the Bitcoin network directly . In this way the life of bitcoin will increase . But still here a bad thing about this is that even after the better amount of fee transactions sometimes we are not getting much speed of confirmation of our payment . Here needed some better improvement . Yes, I hope there are solution for the problem of block size and high fees transaction, although the solution of segwit still not be activated because there are comunity disagree with segwit, we hope there is solution can be accepted by all of comunity bitcoin. |

Yes it is fluctuation of price in dashcoin, all of coins are fluctuation in the markets, it be needed on trading activity because if there are not fluctuation mean there are not profit can be taken but if we are losing money in trading, doesn't mean it is gambling it is part of risk in trading. |

I think no, I am not a bagholder but I am just looking for profit from trading altcoins,
I am not hold in trading altcoins if I was wrong made analysis technical and the markets against my positions.
I always stop lost because it will make more losing money in trading altcoins,
i am trading altcoins on poloniex the coins be traded are ETH, dash, xmr and ETC of course with different method
because the coins has different movement of price.
Thanks for sharing the coins that you currently hold. I usually like to hold many altcoins, and trade those which are pump and dump, making me a nice profit in a short amount of time. While their prices are unpredictable, I try to invest a very minimal amount into them to test out new strategies on the exchanges per their price movement (with pumps and dumps). There are many shitcoins I hold which are good for profiting in pumps and dumps, but there are also good coins that I hold which will aim to survive as years go by like Ethereum, Litecoin, and Monero. The recent Dash trend in price, has made me a good amount of profit, so I have benefited from holding it. Nevertheless, if only there was a way to get rid of coins which don't have market support or active development, then it would be great. But up until now, I guess that it would be up to baghold those altcoins. Just my thoughts. Yes you are right, many shitcoin out there usually I just choose altcoins that had survived on the markets for long time ago, I don't trade in new altcoins it is dangerous for me because will be traped in there, I always choose altcoins from http://coinmarketcap.com/ for ref. |

When knew about bitcoin first time, I was learning bitcoin just for fun and knowledge about new technology on internet also digital currency, I did not save bitcoin at the time because I did not understand about it, by the time comunity of bitcoin at local area started talking about trading digital coins, so I followed them with started learned trading altcoins, right now I save bitcoin for future purpose.
