7201  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin to $10,000 soon! on: May 29, 2019, 11:24:20 AM
Ayon sa article na ito https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-price-raises-bull-flag-in-preparation-for-possible-move-higher,

Quote
A break above $8,890 would confirm a bull flag breakout and create room for a rally to $9,940
Kaya kailangan lang nating i break yang price na yan, at tuloy na tayo sa $10,000.

Ano sa tingin nyu kabayan, kaba ba yan this firs half of the year?

Halos ang lapit na na tin sa price na yan bago o sa first week of June abot na sa $8,890 naniniwala ako na bago magtapos ang second quarter maka break na tayo sa $10000 mark, two ago nasa $4000 level tayo, double na, sana sa taon gito malampasan natin ang dating all time high kaya naman kasi wala pa anaman tayo sa half year.
7202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: HAVE YOU EVER MET ANY SUCCESSFUL GAMBLER on: May 29, 2019, 09:55:32 AM
So i was just wondering, aside the times i see the names of rich and successful gamblers during my google search, i dont think i have personally met anyone who made it big in gambling. Its possible there are  but i know more of those who have lost more than those who have made it.
Please note that by been successful, i  do not mean those who make this little and minor winnings on a daily bases(NO). I mean those with Big records, like who have won over 1BTC from gambling. If you know any either in an online or offline casino please dont hesitate to share their story, you can include the name of the site they made their wins, i am sure someone would be encouraged. Lets go guys Roll Eyes

Unfortunately, I haven't met one and I'd like to meet one, some of them are high profile individual and it's hard to befriend these people as long as you have contact among his peers, these high rollers are well guarded go check the casinos in your city and you will see what I mean.
7203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO better than ICO? on: May 29, 2019, 09:22:44 AM
To me ICO and IEO are somehow identical only the main difference is that things are easier in IEO, the question is does making it easier change the overall view of perspective regarding investors or its just the same making IEO a faster or more convenient version of ICO, it bothers me a lot since for me making it more convenient is a side grade more than an upgrade since it just offers extra utility and it does not make IEO better than ICO.

Tell me what you think, is IEO better than ICO or they are just the same with only difference in method.

IEO's are doing better than ICO now, they are getting funded, investors do not have to wait for months to get the coin to the market, IEO came because ICO's are not performing in their expectation and investors are not getting results that they want to see, IEO is a better replacement for ICO.
7204  Economy / Economics / Re: Problems In Chinas Economy & Escalating Trade War Will Cause Large Bitcoin Rally on: May 29, 2019, 08:52:40 AM

Jason talks about how China's economy getting worse plus the US vs China trade war escalating means that many CCP elites in China and rich Chinese businessmen are getting around capital controls and getting their savings out via Bitcoin.

Click here to watch this video and to read more:

https://goldsilvernews.blogspot.com/2019/05/problems-in-chinas-economy-escalating.html

This will surely benefit the market, the Chinese are the strongest in bussiness just go to any Chinatown in any country and you will a lot of Chinese controlling some areas of business in that country, but I don't think they will just go for Bitcoin, with so many good coins in the market, they are going to diversify their investment.
7205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this even possible Craig Wright? WTF!?! REVERSE BITCOIN HARD FORK (RBH) on: May 29, 2019, 05:37:06 AM
I'm getting SICK and tired of people trying to fix Blockstream's code. It doesn't matter what Satoshi Nakamoto thinks at this point does it?

And we don't need another hard fork. And I don't even think this is possible. Thoughts?

I don't even think this deserves attention, no team support using different words or algo or anything like that we can stop this scam fork if we stop giving attention to this kind of coin, people are launching their own fork because it will become a cash cow for them.
7206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What If Nothing Change In 2019? on: May 29, 2019, 03:43:25 AM
2018 is not a profitable year for almost all Crypto enthusiasts. Though there's an increase in adoption of blockchain technology but almost all crypto assets have lost close to 90% of their all time high and there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. In some weeks now, we will say goodbye to 2018 and the hope of market recovery will now cling to 2019. Though am not trying to be pessimistic but what if nothing change in 2019, what if the bear market continues unabated, will it be the end or sign of the end for Cryptocurrency because I don't think many will still continue to retain their hope if nothing positive happens at least for the first quarter of 2019.

Based on my observation bull run is coming but only those coins that are already in the market are moving up, new coins are having a hard time to get a good price, most of these new coins are still 50 to 80% down on their ICO price, this is the reason why investors are more concentrated on coins in the market.
7207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buying for a long term. on: May 29, 2019, 02:54:07 AM
Your list of coins are not relevant anymore in the present time, the best coins to hodl are Tron, Eos Litecoin and of course Bitcoin and Ethereum, but if you are really looking for a new coin for a long term investment, I advise you take a look at Banano, you can mine it through browser or buy @ 19 sats each, really cheap for coins with good potential.
7208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS IT POSSIBLE THAT ALL ALTCOINS IN THE FUTURE WILL BE BITCOIN HARD FORKS????? on: May 29, 2019, 02:17:48 AM
Just reading about the next Bitcoin Hardfork coming up in July. It's being billed as a Reverse Bitcoin Hardfork (RBH)? WTF Cry Huh

Thoughts? Is this even possible???

Reverse Bitcoin Hardfork (RBH) Sounds new to our hears, well what is new we have seen so many so-called hard-forked by popular coins, that offer nothing to the table but the free airdrop, we are in a mess because of the so many hard-forked not only on Bitcoin but some of the top coins as well like Ethereum.
7209  Other / Off-topic / Re: Come on people, start giving out your merit! on: May 29, 2019, 01:45:23 AM
Aloha,

Please start giving out your merit like the title says.

Mahalo nui loa,

dumplingsandsushi

I have already given merits to over 11 people but your post does not deserve merit, it's like you are begging for it without us giving you a reason why we should give you merit, do your assignment by posting relevant and creative post and you will become a good candidate for merit.
7210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Compilation:The most stupid questions about Satoshi... on: May 29, 2019, 01:38:11 AM
I am sick and tired of the amount of stupid questions regarding Satoshi Nakamoto that gets posted on the forum everyday. This nonsense just keeps going on and on:
"What would Satoshi think about this?,What would Satoshi think about that?"Is Satoshi a gay?"Is Satoshi a woman?""Is Satoshi  the NSA?"...
STFU people! We can't answer these questions because we are NOT the one and only Satoshi Nakamoto and we can't look inside his mind.

Can you add your mindless question to the list? Grin

The list will be endless because we can think of every possible question, because he has not left us any clue of his identity so expect people to ask the most outrageous question about his identity from him being gay to being an extraterrestrial, but to me the most stupid question is: Is he Craig Wright, because he can never be Satoshi.
7211  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Caused Bitcoin to Jump 100%? on: May 28, 2019, 11:28:21 PM

Is there any particular reason Bitcoin has jumped 100%+ in 5 months?

The article below is really interesting naming 5 of the potential causes, but i'm still not convinced this is sustainable - it's reminding me of 2017 times and I sense a correction. Let me know if you think it's any different this time and why?

https://medium.com/@marcus_61942/return-of-the-bitcoin-bulls-a-summary-of-the-potential-causes-f9febb1a4664

These 5 factors have contributed to Bitcoin jumping to 100% but you did not mention the entry of Facebook in Cryptocurrency, it's a big factor also, they are the biggest player so far to enter on this technology and it's a great miles stone, with this and the 5 other you've mentioned, we can possibly see another all-time high even eclipsing the latest one.
7212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Do you realize a Crypto project is scam or Fraud? on: May 28, 2019, 11:19:03 PM
At a point the team start given excuses to abide by what they promised to do or stop communicating with the community then I can sense the project is scam. How do you determine a project is gone bad and won't fulfil it promise? What criteria do you use ? or you wait for years thinking all will be well ?

It's very important to trade all the sign that they are going to run away, the earliest possible time, always check the team if they are real, the whitepaper if they are a copy cat from another project, and the platform if it is really working and of course communication.
7213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Care of security and don't store your coins on exchanges! on: May 28, 2019, 11:02:05 PM
If you want to increase easily the security of your coins you can do it by a simple step. Just withdraw your coins from the exchange to a personal safe wallet where you have the private keys. In case if the exchange gets hacked your funds are safu. Never store more in exchanges than you actually need for buying other coins.
A crypto hack can also happen to big exchanges, like it happended to Cryptopia, a big exchange from new zealand where huge amounts of crypto funds were stolen from people that had their coins stored on the exchange when the hack happend. All users that had withdrawn the fund before were safe because they stored their coins in their own wallets.
Even big exchanges are no guarantee that they can't be hacked, so better be safe and store your coins yourself.

Storing your coins safely will prevent your coins from getting hacked and you won't lose your crypto by exchange hacks.  Smiley

You can edit your post and add Binance they are the latest exchange that's been hacked and the hacker got away with 7000 worth of Bitcoin, but compare to other exchanges, they handled it really good, but you are absolutely right exchanges should not be your option when storing your coins.
7214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin and Ethereum Pump's up on: May 28, 2019, 04:27:20 PM
Do you see right now that bitcoin get first pump and same to other altcoins get continuosly pumping up in this month from March to May hopefully its good to hold right now. So tell me what is your strategy?

For me converting low performing coins in place of high performing coins and allocating money out of the pocket to buy more coins that are on the top of the market, the top coins are one that will benefit when the bull run continues, just like what happened in 2017, this is going to be a good repeat.
7215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CoinGecko is introducing "Trust Score" to combat fake exchange volume on: May 28, 2019, 04:15:00 PM
Coinmarketcap has a better traffic rank but with these new features Coingecko will pull a lot of traffic, and they can shorten the gap I'm using both but will use Coingecko more because of this new feature, I have no problem on both of their ads since I do my own research when I'm investing.
7216  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Sino dito ang naka experience ng last bull run (2017) on: May 28, 2019, 03:59:58 PM
Tingin ko timely ito dahil paparating na malaking bull run, hopefully this year.

1.) Ano ang mga na enjoy ninyo sa last bull run? Sa anong coins kayo kumita at sa anong paraaan?

2.) May regret ba kayo sa last bull run? Ano yun?

7218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi Created a Telegram group or Channel? on: May 28, 2019, 02:36:52 PM
The real Satoshi can create now, it was not existing when he is still active, the possibility of him created a new group is there is he wants to finally come out, maybe he will log in here and post his telegram channel and will invite few possibly the pioneerS in Bitcoin, I would love to see this happen one day.
7219  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to explain blockchain/Bitcoin to millennials on: May 28, 2019, 01:55:47 PM
Hi, I'm not new to bitcoin & blockchain and I'm a full time trader with quite a little knowledge on tech background. I do trade cryptocurrency coins and studied a lot on blockchain technology. But I have a question, I always stumbled across this in my mind when people ask me why blockchain is the future, why should you care and buy?  Anybody can give me some tips and answer for this?

Would appreciate it.

It's hard to explain that to millennials but they can relate if you can invite them to watch videos on Youtube about blockchain and cryptocurrency and how everything works, a long explanation will not do good, millennials love watching videos if it is about something worthwhile, so why not compile a link of the best videos on Youtube about cryptocurrency and blockchain.
7220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HELP] distribution of tokens on: May 28, 2019, 01:17:43 PM
what is the most interesting and safe way to distribute token example (erc20) so that it does not have high dumping in exchange?
If what you mean is distribution for bounty hunters, you can distribute it via percentage every month you can do 30% distribution every month, but if it is investor's shares then you have no recourse but to distribute right away, if you have a good project and you think it will have a support of the investors, there's no need to worry about distribution.
