7221  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Dark marketplaces? on: September 19, 2016, 11:39:17 AM
I wonder about one thing, do they have lower prices then regular bitcoin shops? For example can I found PS 4 there, how cheaper it is there, and is there any guarantee that PS 4 will come to me or its a risk from the beginning?
I heard stolen things can be cheaper on market, but I never buy something like that. I wonder how big risk it is for buying something on black market?

It is very dangerous to buy anything from the black market.
If you found a PS4 there that has probably came from an illegal activity like theft or something.
That's why it is in the black market in the first place because they cannot sell it publicly.

Indeed that's why I'd avoid black markets because anyone on there has a reason to be on there which is most likely a negative thing.
You don't want to buy stolen stuff, fake stuff and get tracked by the police either. Which is kinda impossible unless they trap you though.
but I think people that already get into the dark market already know all the risk and if they still keep continue on doing this it's all just their fault at the end,so actually nothing to worry,if you seeking for a peace life then getaway and if you such a person that always breaking government's rules (LOL) then just go there
7222  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying clothes with bitcoins? on: September 19, 2016, 11:37:20 AM
I found this site this days http://www.gamiss.com

Can I buy this somewhere with bitcoins, prices are very cheap, and I saw some very nice clothes there. I wonder is there some similar site, where we can use our bitcoins to buy it. Now I need to ask people with credit cards to buy me this, I dont have one. But with bitcoins I would be able to buy it by myself.

It seems that the site don't accept bitcoin yet  as their payment method, you have to make a paypal account to buy some of this clothes but tbh the items are cool and seems so cheap also but I don't think if the site is legit any way

If there are going to have sites that are going to accept bitcoins for payment just like gamiss' products for sure I will going to buy.

I won't hesitate to think for buying it, because I'm sure that upon seeing the pictures they are somehow acceptable and good enough.

Anyone knows some clothing sites that accepts bitcoin and do shipping?
I just found this https://store.bitcoin.com/ the site selling clothes and any other stuff, they're accepting bitcoin directly and see their domain,it's bitcoin.com but even though the domain seems just expensive, didn't sure with their service so take a look to the people's feedback first
7223  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: September 18, 2016, 09:04:58 AM
We can say that it is global currency now because lots of people use it
just wondering if a currency is still not being recognited as official currency in most of country but still biased or just say between illegal and legal (not regulated) yet,can it be called global currency? though it's being used by people widely but don't know whether it's legal or illegal
7224  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: September 18, 2016, 09:02:04 AM

Actually confirmation is not really necessary because one you see the transaction in the blockchain that is good as transacted already and you cannot reverse that anymore, therefore bitcoin is faster than cash in transaction online.
you're so damn very wrong, when transaction is not yet confirmed, the transaction could possible being rejected by the network, thus the money will back to the sender, and it's could usually be done by doing double spending or making transaction without fee, that's why every website that accept bitcoin need atleast 1 confirmation for every transaction
7225  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: September 18, 2016, 09:00:13 AM
First I think I would try to make some money online, performing tasks in the forum, for example. Then I would try to get something more in trading, using part of the funds obtained previously.
I think if someone just need money desperately means they're in need of money at urgent or immediately, making money online will took quite long time and you can't just get money immediately,i think the one who need money will dead in hungry first before earning the money
7226  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Paypal a scam? on: September 18, 2016, 07:22:23 AM
paypal is actually not scamming nor a scam site, when a service is just popular and getting used by so many people,i'm sure their quality will be lowering and so many problem will occur either major or minor problem to their clients, they can't take care of their clients and can't pleasing all of their clients so it will result so many complain
7227  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: September 18, 2016, 07:18:08 AM
yes you should believe in the bitcoin because it has a good future a head and I also think that its gonna be a very good currency in the future, just keep patient and stay believing.
The bitcoin has a good future a head because of the growing part it has everyday, there are everyday users stepping in it.
bitcoin I think the future is in the hands of every user. if users trust and continue to use bitcoin then the future of bitcoin will be better again. so I very much hope that all bitcoin users can trust and continue to use bitcoin
yeah bitcoin is depend on its community, the bitcoin community will help the bitcoin growing itself to be better day by day,and that's why the community is so important for bitcoin, and also if the community keep making bitcoin looks good, the demand should be increasing
7228  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: September 18, 2016, 07:16:44 AM

I also like to use the GPU mining as it can be used to mine many different coins with quite high profitability.
i'm agree with you, using GPU will give us  benefits when going to mine altcoin,so we're not going to only mine bitcoin but another altcoin that seems profitable and exchange it to bitcoin when bitcoin's difficulties is just too high and seems not profitable anymore since halving just occur, only big miners will get the profit by mining bitcoin
7229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform ❘|❘ ICO OPEN on: September 18, 2016, 06:26:57 AM
Is it still possible to participate in the bounties? like signature here on bitcointalk?
Im think yes you can participate the signature campaign and this is the final week.Signature campaign is still open  for a new member.
if it's last week, and the last week just already running about 3 days, don't think he still can join the signature even he could he will not getting the payment fully maybe, but still worth a try to apply
7230  Other / Off-topic / Re: how many people do you think knows about bitcoin in your community? on: September 18, 2016, 06:24:31 AM
there's no one, most of my friend just use internet for social media or any such thing that just wasting time actually, they don't even care about payment option, they just use what they know from people around, never trying to learn new things, thats why they're very slow growing their knowledge and mind to be honest
7231  Other / Off-topic / Re: What value does Bitcoin bring to you? on: September 18, 2016, 06:22:58 AM
What I like the most about Bitcoin is the fact that you can send any amount of money to anyone anywhere in the world without any restrictions. Unfortunately this feature also facilitate criminal activities, I wouldn't be surprised if terrorist groups worldwide use it to move money anonymously across borders.
defininitely right, when we're going to transfer money with high amount to people either domestic or non domestic we will looks suspicious for government and even in some country would require us to do some verification to the government to make the transaction successful, even it's for preventing any criminal activities but still it's just too complicated
7232  Other / Off-topic / Re: Average Age of Bitcoin users on: September 18, 2016, 06:20:25 AM
During the first used of bitcoin i was more on thinking that the average age was from 18-40 years old but i was shocked because when i saw some old folks using bitcoin if i am not mistaken they were about 50-60 years of age and damn they are veterans tho.
that's very usual thing, why do you think around hundreds thousand of bitcoin users there's none of person are 50 years old or even older?
but yeah I guess they're veteran that seeing people with that age could operate the technology, maybe they're programmer or such a techy person when they was young
7233  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: September 17, 2016, 01:36:27 PM
I believe that, despite  the fact  that btc wallets still have to  evolve a lot to attract more users,  I think it is already much  better option than banks, because the use of btc  wallets can give to us real control over  our funds and, of course , better security,  if you know  how to use it.

I Totally agree with you. Anyway, I use both banks and bitcoin. Each has its uses at the nowadays. and we cannot ignore anyone of them.

the great thing is that you don't have to ignore anything. as you also said, both have their advantages and different kind of usage for a lot people. why choose one when you can have both. Smiley

Yeah and I don't see any valid reason to choose only one when can use both of them, as banks are important for day to day transactions as at this stage we cannot use bitcoins everywhere.
choosing both to fulfil the needs is definitely a wise choice, but I guess this thread is asking about the comparation nor the usefulness for the life
so we need to discuss about both's advantages so we will have the conclusion which one having more advantages
7234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: September 17, 2016, 01:31:29 PM
dont tink so lel, if they are poor i dun think a form of virtual currency helps them

It actually can, by poor country it does not mean that the country does not even has internet connection or computer systems, but means poor by economy or by value of money, and also in such countries people can use bitcoin to help themselves financially.

Even there's an internet connection in the poor country, doesn't mean all of people there could afford an internet connection,i think people who have internet connection only come from middle class to high nor the poor, the poor actually can't even have internet connection
7235  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins true potential on: September 13, 2016, 08:13:39 AM
I am quite confident that bitcoin will slowly get mass adoption and price will sky rocket. But this may take few decades so better to hold whatever we can for our future or for our kids futures.
it may takes decades, but also depend on how people are adopting the technology as you can see so many 3rd world country's people are still lack of technology even bitcoin could potentially helping their economy even a little, maybe because they can't afford to buy the following technologies so they lack of knowledge
7236  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2.5 Years in Bitcoin and still holding. on: September 13, 2016, 08:12:07 AM
That is a pretty long time if you are asking me and I think that is pretty good if you hold your bitcoins so long, on the other hand I think I already had sold mine.
Its hard to keep your bitcoins when the selling price is profitable, I already had this once but not sold them back in the days.

Good to know that you are holding your coins for last 2.5 years. You must have bought the bitcoins at that time for 100$  - 150$ and today if you sell them you can get 4x to 5x profit.
Can't hold bitcoin that long i don't have enough patience to do that waiting till the bitcoin price increase is not possible but there are chance that it will dump again and i think he gain lots of profit already brought bitcoin when bitciin is very cheap and it can afford by anyone else. If there are chance that bitcoin will be cheap again i dont hestitate to buy more and im going to hold too that long till it increase again

That is your opinion, hold the bitcoin always give us profit, now again the time start to going the bitcoin up, so why he sell his all bitcoins? he is lucky because he buy the bitcoin in a cheap price, and now bitcoin never and ever come back in that price. So i suggest him, hold them till you never think that you need money mustly,
you're right, selling without thinking twice is definitely not a wise choice,as I see there's still many possibility that bitcoins price could be rising even higher, even there's dump he won't losing money since the price of bitcoin just higher than when he's buying so definitely no problem to wait till it reach lets say 800$
7237  Economy / Speculation / Re: We would be 1000+ if bitfinex didn't happen on: September 13, 2016, 06:06:06 AM
I think it won't affect the price of bitcoin even without bitfinex hacked, because when the bitfinex happened, yes the price is dropped but for the next 3-5 days the price come back to normal again.
i'm sure that if bitfinex didn't hacked the price could possibly rising even higher,do you know the reason behind the price recover? i'm sure it's because of another business that affect bitcoin,so if the price could rising even after bitfinex hacked then imagine how if bitfinex wasn't hacked? the result will be ofcourse different
7238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you trust projects that use Ethereum? on: September 13, 2016, 06:00:53 AM
Just lets hope that hacking issue will not coming back. they are building trust again to people thats why the price is going back..

What on earth would make you believe that there will not be many more hacks of ethereum based contracts ?

he's actually just hoping that "hope" is just a hope and maybe can't be realized,no system is absolutely safe so the hack could possibly happen again if someone just find out the hole, nothing is perfect in this world
7239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of Litecoin? on: September 13, 2016, 05:58:41 AM
What do you think of Litecoin?
These past few days, litecoin price seems pump up from
btc0.00065 to btc0.15z Is this the sign that devs of litecoin
have a future plan on his coin?

Litecoin is old coin than another altcoins, it has new comunity on this https://litecointalk.io/ . And about the litecoin's price seems going up, it is just fluctuating of price and it is normal. There is time for litecoin's price going up and down.
i'm sure that there's always a reason behind pumping so if it's just being pumped without reason it doesn't make sense, maybe some whale just buying litecoin immediately and pumping it for seeking a profit who knows? even though I can consider that it's normal if it's about trading
7240  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why price of Bitcoin too stable? on: September 13, 2016, 05:43:26 AM
The price of the bitcoin is stable because there are so many Peopel who are not spending coins at the moment and what i do know is that there are allot who dont even know the price of the coin right now.
It has more to do with that people are just waiting for the price to go up.

A lot people were expecting the price to go sky high after the block halving, but as we all have seen, it didn't happen.

Some of these people are still hoping for it to come and thus keep holding their coins.
as I know that price already rising before halving occur so I guess it was affected to rising because of halving and when halving just occur no price rising because the price already rising, and I think the stable price are now because of its price just reached the stable point like what happening after price rising, and it's really normal
