7241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEW LCM Coin Launch on: May 27, 2019, 09:24:11 AM
I have seen similar roadmap in the past, from other projects but some of them are dead and I cannot recall their name, this is not a good way to announce your project if this is cheap and unprofessional, you can hire people to create a good announcement thread, not this way, it will not generate support from investors.
7242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If a whale is buying Bitcoin then I too will buy Bitcoin. on: May 27, 2019, 04:49:08 AM
If the whales are secretly buying up Bitcoin than I will buy Bitcoin at the current market rate. Even if it goes to 2500$. Gives me sum hope in the crypto space. Only if I find out they are buying through forums etc.

Whales have been buying a large amount of Bitcoin ever since they partly control the market, I wonder why you are not aware of it, you should read a lot of articles about this, this is the reason why many new coins that are being launched are controlled by whales, they want to control the coin when it hit the market it's possible to all coins that there are whales behind.
7243  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is STEX.com a scam? on: May 27, 2019, 02:47:20 AM
Hello, I would like to know if the stex.com is scam. I can not access my account after allowing only one IP (My ISP changed the IP after a local network failure), I contacted the chat support, they requested to contact via email, but so far I have not gotten a response. Chat support only repeats the same message: Send your data via email and ask to disable "Allow Logins via IPs". I'm already out of patience. 3 days and still did not respond to my email.
Sounds like this was your fault? You enabled an option that blocks every IP other than X and you changed your IP (regardless of if it was intentional or was your ISP's fault)... Looks like they are just doing what they have been told to do.

So, you already emailed them with your data and request to disable the IP option? If that's the case, 3 days doesn't seem like a lot of time to call them a scam.

That could be the reason, they have an option like that in your personal dashboard when I'm still in Azart campaign I sold all my coins in that exchange after I verified my account I did not face any hassle depositing, trading and withdrawing my coins. everything is easy and hassle-free.
Support asked me to prove that I am the account owner.
I tried this with my 2FA code and now they are sending a tutroial about using 2FA, and I just want to have access to my account, but I can not have it because I'm blocked by IP. They are sending me the automatic answers, it's the same attendant, and the guy does not look at the history of the conversation?

Is there a possibility that you access it from the IP that you've used that is not yet blocked or use another IP you can try to message them in their other social media channel if you keep receiving the same message, or a telegram channel  I'm sure they have one, most exchange has one.
7244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your thoughts on Facebook's GlobalCoin on: May 27, 2019, 02:33:42 AM
GlobalCoin is coming. What are your thoughts on this new Facebook-made altcoin? What have you heard about it?

They are not yet finalizing everything the last article I read was they are building a team around it, and they are going to launch last quarter of the year, we will read more news about this Facebook before the launching so I expect a lot of new threads about it, because  people believe this is the biggest coin to launch in three years.
7245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can someone explain to me the motive behind airdrops? on: May 26, 2019, 11:55:49 PM
I'm still wondering why developers will organize airdrops and distribute an amount of tokens which is far lesser than the minimum amount of the tokens that can be deposited on an exchange for trading. If you don't want the users to cash out the money, why do you let them waste their time?

Airdrops are for awareness, they just want you to buy more so you can trade in the market, besides asking for your sensitive information, which some of them do, sell them online this second one is very risky but as well don't do it a penny for information.is this right?
7246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: road to success on: May 26, 2019, 11:40:33 PM
What kind of PR methods are successful in a crypto project ? and what attracts you? For example, digital marketing platforms like twitter, facebook or airdrops or bounties. What is your opinion ?

All you've mentioned are good enough but it will always come down to what you offer if you have a good offer, people will buzz about, tweet it and write about it, people want to share or hype project that has potential in the market, and we have seen that in many projects before.
7247  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin hit 100k in 2020? on: May 26, 2019, 11:26:30 PM
Bitcoin is about to get a lot more expensive than it is today,
So is it possible to see Bitcoin price hovering around 100k each by next year and why?

Source:   https://medium.com/@Amiono4/can-bitcoin-hit-100-000-in-2020-a4c424cc1d34

There are a lot of experts prediction about the price of Bitcoin and I do believe in some of their predictions, but a $100k for just a year is not realistic for me, there should be good data backed by why it should go on that level this early and I don't believe in just the production value as stated by that article.
7248  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ALLERT (for new comers) Wasu, wasu, wasu is back (bitconnect 2.0 is coming on: May 26, 2019, 04:11:27 PM
Is it just me or the tweet has been deleted?
The Bitconnect site itself is now on sale. Hmm, what a nice way for resurrection.
Check this too: https://twitter.com/Bitconnect2_0/status/1131212301925781505

If there are people who still believe in this scheme, I don't know what should we do to educate them anymore.
New comers probably since they have a less knowledge about the previous scam of bitconnect, its hard to educate the person you don’t know but if there’s an attempt for bitconnect to comeback then its better to make a real overview about the possible new ponzi scheme. Bitconnect2 will be handle by a different team, but it doesn’t mean you can trust them, better to stay away on any bitconnect updates.

I promote, invest and got scammed by Bitconnectcoin if they are going to come back, and they think that it's ok to come back, people will stop them and that includes me, they are the biggest scammer and Ponzi scheme in the cryptocurrency and there will be no second chance again for these scammers.
7249  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC hit $11,500 in June 2019? on: May 26, 2019, 03:29:35 PM
I don't think so the movement for the last two months is very slow but steady, and it will continue that way heading to the 3rd quarter it will increase fast last quarter of the year heading to the much-awaited halving, even the news about Facebook coin did not help to pump Bitcoin.
7250  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: easy bite for scammers on: May 26, 2019, 11:35:00 AM
Scammers are ruining the crowdfunding in our community, this is the reason why there are so many legit not getting funded because investors are afraid that they will get scammed again, we need regulation and a governing body that will run after these scammers and make them pay for their activities.
7251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 61-year Old Chinese Grandma Convicted For Stealing Electricity To Mine Bitcoin on: May 26, 2019, 11:18:58 AM

A Thursday report from China disclosed that the Kaiping District People’s Court of Tangshan City, Hebei Province has sentenced a 61-year-old woman to prison for stealing national power resources for the mining of bitcoin.

https://coinfomania.com/61-year-old-chinese-grandma-convicted-mining-bitcoin/

Just imagine seeing your grandma during holidays and asking, "what's keeping you busy?", and the responded will be, "mining bitcoin" Grin. That will be priceless.  Grin. So for 10 months, this old lady has been 'stealing electricity', but it look closely at the article, it looks like the profit is around $940 only. But she has to pay $1450 + jail time.
Knowing China they are very strict with their laws, they never give consideration even old age, if this happens to other countries like here in the Philippines, they will just let him Scott free,  fine her and if he has no money to for the fine they will just ban the household for applying for electric connection.
7252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese citizens could safely hold Bitcoin on: May 26, 2019, 11:05:53 AM
As title said "Chinese citizens could safely hold Bitcoin", just read a article from Ethereumworldnews, you might read that article for more details "China: Hodling Bitcoin (BTC) and P2P OTC Trading is Legal".

However, this is a good news for Chinese crypto users. They could hold bitcoin legally without fear of government. I think the positive impact of this news would reflect on bitcoin price.

What you think about it?

This word is very conflicting

The government maintains its ban and there is a very thin line between what is legal and what is illegal.
where does holding Bitcoin borders? Chinese holders should first understand the restrictions because this could turn against him there's still danger holding Bitcoin in that region in my opinion.

7253  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the Market Stabilizing? on: May 26, 2019, 09:53:39 AM
The market is kind of stable and at the same time, I can say the it is stabilising. So, it kinda confuses llme. Since bitcoin climbed up to 7k, I have seen steady movement in its price. Although it's still trying to overcome the $8k mark. All I can take from the movement so far is that even with the market instability, it is on the verge of stabilising. Pulling from a bear Market can be tough.
We like better price than $8,000 but price stabilizing is good, however, we need to accept the truth that it will never last, we can expect a possible pump or dump that will happen in the coming days or weeks, crypto has never been stable, so its norms will be followed.

The market will always stabilize after a dip or a surge in price, this is a reality that we must accept in a market that is so volatile, the market depends on the pump and dump of the whales and the positive news and negatives, the market will always react that is why it's important to keep abreast on the latest news so you'll know what's coming.
7254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this really better than Bitcoin? on: May 25, 2019, 06:04:53 PM
Is this really better than Bitcoin?

I just saw this thread of Mayapreferred https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5126669.0 and this https://www.fatbtc.com/
They are better than Bitcoin? Is it good to invest with them? I want to know if anyone invested already?

I don't know how did you come out with that sentence, it's like you do not do proper research, my advice is do not invest if they are preaching that they are better than Bitcoin, hundreds of scam coins have preached that, and they are gone in just a few months.
7255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A New Bitcoin Rival Is Coming? on: May 25, 2019, 03:22:38 PM
There's should not be an ICO for this soon to be launch coin from Facebook, it's going to be a big joke if they are going to launch one, I don't see this shooting to the top 10 as soon it's launch, not because Facebook is the biggest social networking sites, they have to offer something not just their payment processor to be able to beat the top coin in the market.
7256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cannabis Coin status and future on: May 24, 2019, 01:32:04 AM
I have been mining Cannabiscoin lately. The coin has been around for 4 years or so, but they are being delisted because they found vulnerabilities in the blockchain .

They are working on integrating to a better platform .  They are considering Komodo or Waves platform .   Does this process take a long time ?

For some reason , the price of the coin has been rising .  I thought it would keep dropping because its being desisted.  Any thoughts ?

I don't know much about Cannabis but if they are going to transfer, they should consider Ethereum smart contract, very low fee faster transaction a lot of Dapps associated with it, Waves is good but people are having a hard time with their DEX sometimes it lags.
7257  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How do you feel about businesses that stop accepting Bitcoin? on: May 24, 2019, 12:31:02 AM
My experience is on Fiverr, I used to hire a lot of people here because they use Bitcoin and I don't have or not using PayPal anymore, but after they take down Bitcoin I have to shift to Bitcointalk services section, or ask a friend who has paypal to use his paypal to make a transactions, but still hoping that they will accept Bitcoin again.
7258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex Withdraw Completed But Not in Wallet? on: May 23, 2019, 02:50:36 AM
It wasn't bitcoin but an altcoin.  I did put the txid in the explorer for that coin and there are over 200 confirmations.

The address is correct because it matches my address.

Anyone have a clue what is the reason for this?

You did not name the altcoin or it's algo so we can also check it, blockexplorer will never lie, once it confirmed it always shows up in your wallet, check if you really own that address, you must have supplied a wrong address on your withdrawal.
7259  Other / Off-topic / Re: FREE Advisory services by Kristinn Spence on: May 23, 2019, 02:10:43 AM
You did not post your telegram channel, do you have one for this kind of services, if you want to get more clients, you should have one specifically for your clients, I'm surprised that you offer this for free, is this really free or do you have a premium service accompanied.
7260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop chasing the "next" bitcoin on: May 23, 2019, 01:04:34 AM
Because blockchain and cryptocurrency is a young technology, people are constantly looking for the next big thing in the market, some people are lucky to find one or two coins with good potential, but many people are victims of a scam because there are so many scammers are now victimizing cryptocurrency investors.
