I really don't understand what people think they will gain by deliberately trashing other companies. It is one thing to point out problems but the degree of vindictiveness and glee which is being displayed in some of the postings at other people misfortune is really distasteful and doesn't help sort out the issues. "Childish" is the best description I can use for some of the postings.
The postings in some of these threads doesn't help Bitcoin either as it will scare off potential investors and gives the opponents lots of ammunition with which to go to the regulators and try to ban commercial Bitcoin transactions. This sort of behaviour will prevent wider adoption and a future rise in the value of Bitcoin.
The Bitcoin world is big enough for people to have different opinions, just live and let live, it isn't big enough for public religious jihads being launched at different members of the community.
You don't burn down the entire tower block because you don't like your neighbour.
Understand that this "misfortune" (if jumping off a highway overpass, with hopes of never hitting the ground, could be called "misfortune") affects me too. These flying lessons resulted in dangerous carcases on the highway below. I use these roads. I have to keep them clear of carrion. *Even though I didn't put a satoshi into this idiocy, I am tired of being ashamed to admit that I use bitcoin. This suicide fest has just got to stop. @michaelGedi: This idiocy has destroyed any chance of mass adoption in Cyprus and added to the lolcow image of Bitcoin. If you expect people to take us seriously, stop.

...The plan is solid. This thing can't lose, it's like money in the bank NeoBee fair point, the plan is/was not solid, but essentially for any bitcoin startup to expect to succeed it's almost a prequisite to be bullish on bitcoin, so whatever they did they were already exposed in some shape or form. Can you suggest a workaround for the pegged account plan in a bear market? Or would you just scrap it altogether? ... I point out that your perpetual motion engine won't work. You ask me to suggest a better perpetual motion engine, if I'm so dang smart. You know my stance on bitcoin banks: as useful and desirable as a screen door on a sub. [Edit] if above is unclear: it's too late to scrap plans at this point, this sub is 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, battening down the screen door proved useless. Surprise!

Let's not forget TaT stands for 'Thick as Thieves'.
Much like trusting 'Magic the Gathering: Online eXchange' with money... ... Let me guess: You've trusted your money to both? Re. "remaining silent won't protect...": Because you should always talk as much as you can, without a lawyer.

I'll speculate again (a bit more) in this thread:
"liquidity issues" ...Perhaps this is an issue with their being overly reliant on bitcoin going up, and deciding to merely "hold" their coins... The plan is solid. This thing can't lose, it's like money in the bank NeoBee

But not before getting buttraped. The talk about "due diligence" is just talk -- the whole thing breaks at the weakest link, like a trusted exchange folding and *poof*, so much for due diligence. Which shitty stock have you got to sell?
Due diligence is not just talk. It's a requirement before investing unless you want to be raped. If the exchange is the weakest link, then use decentralized exchanges. Err, which decentralized exchange would you suggest, while we're on the subject? <==This is typical of the "due diligence" bullshit. Sure, due diligence is essential, but with the current state of bitcoin securities, the only thing it tells me is "walk in an orderly fashion towards the exit and don't start laughing 'till you're out of earshot."

Think before calling people "trolls." It fuckin' sux when they turn out to be right, and you turn out to be the idiot. No graceful way of getting out of that. So remember your manners, yes.

... In the prospectus Danny mentioned he had a background in banking and finance, I have found that Danny has been a company director of 3 different companies but none seem to be associated with banking. ... Cool research. Caveat: It is much more useful to do it *before*, not *after* you invest in a company.

It's a shame how bad due diligence led to an entire group being described as "worth exactly nothing."
There are a few needles in that haystack.
To be fair, there are a few buttraping rabid elephants in that haystack too. Along with all of those dirty needles. @binderclip: What's meant by "do your due diligence" in this instance is something along the lines of "if you spend your whole life digging through pigshit, there's a chance you will find a pearl." But a much better chance that you'll catch something really unpleasant and resistant to antibiotics.

Lol, Ohither Stuartuk, dropping by to shill for Danny instead of Ken? Or do they share you?

Is it possible for two people, unconnected by blood or other bodily fluids, to come up with identical gobbldygook? .... That's the final straw for me. Well done crumbs, destruction won. I'm scrambling my password. ... The zumzero account password is about to be scrambled and made unretrievable. ... *Relevant because this guy is the universal shill, "Trust Danny" for this one & "Trust Ken" for Active Mining. I: "...there may be legal/ethical reasons preventing him from being as open as he'd like (to paraphrase Danny)" You: "yeah, everyone always uses the legal/ethical excuse when they know something illegal/unethical was going on." I: "Everyone seemed fine with Danny using that line with the Ukyo gig." You: "you're just trying to stretch it to be relevant. If he lies about what he had for dinner to friends, it has no relevance to a thread about the business he is involved in." I: "Lying about huge sums of money is no more relevant your assessment of a banker than what he had for dinner? "
Which brings us here.
To be clear, TAT has not stated or even hinted at being bound by law/ethics. That was a hypothetical, made clear by "...there may be..." It was you who brought up such statements likely being bullshit. When Danny used that excuse to keep everyone in the dark about huge sums of money, (a line you yourself pointed out is usually crap), you argue that while [presumably] crap, it is no more important to this topic than a lie about his dinner. Topic being Danny starting a bank to handle other people's money. But possible lies about other people's money are irrelevant.

If you suspect your CEO is bending the truth, it seems relevant. Especially when he holds your money and you have next to no recourse if shit goes bad.
now, you're just trying to stretch it to be relevant. If he lies about what he had for dinner to friends, it has no relevance to a thread about the business he is involved in. Not everything he does is relevant to Neo. As I remember, a thread was opening specifically for the Ukyo issue, and Neo wasn't involved (Danny bought them out), talking about the Ukyo case on a Neo thread was irrelevant. In any case, that's not what we are talking about, we're talking about something extremely relevant, TAT possibly knowing of wrongdoing and hiding it from Neo shareholders. Lying about huge sums of money is no more relevant your assessment of a banker than what he had for dinner? I guess i got nothing.

No, but your particular blend of herp and derrp is unmistakable. Why would a kind and merciful god troll the world with more than one of you? <==proof *Before the police can investigate, a report has to be made. None was.

Everyone seemed fine with Danny using that line with the Ukyo gig. I remember folks questioning it not getting much love in this thread well, technically, it wasn't relevant to the Neo thread. If you suspect your CEO is bending the truth, it seems relevant. Especially when he holds your money and you have next to no recourse if shit goes bad.
