Whilst I know it must be frustrating not being able to recover your account it's not just the case of not having enough time (though both theymos and especially Badbear are ridiculously busy with other tasks and account recovery isn't a priority sadly). There are also many issues that can arise from quickly recovering accounts to anyone that asks for them so there needs to be some investigation gone into the situation. Only admins can recover accounts and that's not something you can just outsource. theymos likely has to consider you very trustworthy to give you access to the database so unless Badbear wants to step up and do it the best I can advise is to keep bumping this thread every so often and send another PM once a month or something (as frustrating as that is).

Was surprised to see it on my favourite wares blogsite this morning. Think I'll watch it later today. wouldnt wonder me if that torrent was a xmas present from obama+sony (its kinda rare nowadays that you get good/high quality ripps right after airing especially if the movie didnt even aired lol)well they released via other mediums It is not, Sony released it online at seetheinterview.com and via Google and Microsoft, only available on USA, people ripped it and shared via bittorrent for the rest of the world, thanks RARBG. Seems silly them doing that. Stream any film and it's going to get ripped as soon as you do.

It leaked. Nice Christmas present for Kimmy . Think I'll watch it later today.

@hilariousandco stingleword is removing everyone with more than one account from the campaign, I think. People are being kicked out faster than entering. xD
Ah, but still, slots on this campaign were usually always snapped up as soon as they became available.

Are these digital codes? If so, please move this thread into the Digital Goods sub. Thanks.

I haven't checked this thread in a while, but damn, 12 free slots! What's going on? I wonder if people are not just joining this because of the bet requirement. What is the minimum you have to bet to become ellegible?

People openly sell these bars on eBay for around £10, though it might be a legal grey area in reality. I suppose it could be trademark infringement or something with the branded bars.

Was it removed of it being unfair to users?
Pretty much. I'm 50/50 on whether it should return or was a good idea getting rid of it. It never really stopped scammers or spammers as anyone determined would just bide their short time whilst it still punished casual or newcommer users. My vote would be on a warning akin to the scammer tag. It would be in eye-catching red, displayed next to the names of Newbies in any Marketplace forums. People have suggested blocking Newbies from the Marketplace section as a whole, but I guess that would be pretty annoying to a lot of people who register here for the first time just to trade. Newbies would be able to trade, but I think a warning of sorts would be a better deterrent. I think that sort of warning would also be annoying for them not to mention a bit extreme and unfair/unnecessary. Generally people know to use caution when dealing with newb accounts anyway, and if they don't and lose out then it's their own fault. Newbs should only be given 'warning' via negative feedback when they've done something to demonstrate they deserve it and not before.

Can you check if these albums are on waffles (or any other music tracker you have):
English Frank - Frankenstein Logic and Last Resort - More True Talk (make sure it's the more one and not the first True Talk).
Thanks.

I'll start writing down the various names. I regularly read one, think; "hmmm it's that guy again" then I look at name, always different.... I wonder if it's a sweatshop or gold mine rather, a bunch of guys and they rotate accounts so if you check the post history there's a variety of styles? Are you sure it's not many different people and you're just incorrectly assuming they're all the same? If people are posting shit just report them via the report to mod button and they'll get dealt with.

A few bitcoin/crypto related sites have been compromised in the past. I think the Feathercoin forum possibly had their database compromised after a hack. I do occasionally get bitcoin spam so someone got my address from somewhere and they even unsuccessfully tried logging into it one time (there's nothing of value in there anyway).

i received it too, i guess forum database was stolen
Have you used your email address anywhere else? On any other forum? I haven't recieved anything.

Did you send the item to his address listed on his eBay and PayPal and was it verified? Sadly it seems with PayPal anyone can say they didn't authorise the payment whether they did or not and get away with it.

Yeah, don't use PayPal . Can you provide more details? What is the seller claiming is the issue?

Yes, you can post your suspicions of potential or attempted scams here. In fact, it's better to warm people before the scam actually happens rather than wait for it to be successful. Just make sure you post all the evidence you have and be prepared for a backlash if you're wrong .
