Awww...he actually apologized. Dude must have learnt his lesson...though the hard way. Can we try give him another opportunity to prove himself and his intentions for the project? We all deserve second chances 🙏

Why though? It's just another copy-and-paste masternode project out of countless others. There's no team, no plans, no roadmap, no sponsors, no real innovation going on.
7282  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Qwartz Network - Plagiarized whitepaper on: June 03, 2019, 04:47:09 AM
I notice that the Dash white paper is the most highly copied out of all of them. That's probably because of the whole masternodes thing. Just another copy and paste project...

I'm really enjoying the newest iteration of your hats homer, they're 3D A.F.
7284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Uncomfortable Truth on: June 02, 2019, 11:32:25 AM
Speak for yourself. I use it all the time. I quite regularly use it to buy phone plans (mainly mobile data) for myself and others, and as a vehicle to exchange currency. We're talking 3-5 times a week.

I do agree that more real-world transacting and use case scenarios would help it gain more respectability in the minds of many, and help it get away from the whole "Ponzi scheme" image problem it frequently has.

Its just not practical to use in some situations where cash can accomplish the same thing, and is even moreso in periods of high volatility. However, as was mentioned above, its still relatively in its early stages and it might be a while before relatively crazy price fluctuations begin to subside.

7286  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: Bitcoin SV (BSV) - fake team member and plagiarized white paper on: June 02, 2019, 10:55:08 AM
BTC forked out in 2017 with Segwit implementation in August.
BCH forked out in 2018 November with Wormhole Protocol among other implementations.

Between 2017 August and 2018 November, yes, some pushes were made by Bitcoin Cash dev/s because in that period BSV didn't even exist, existed only BCH and BTC.

What is your point exactly?

My point is BSV is not the "real bitcoin."

What coin do you think people discuss the most on this forum, which Craig Wright claims to have founded? (this issue has never been brought up but its part and parcel of CSW saying he is Satoshi)

When your average, non-biased crypto investor is talking about "bitcoin", are they talking about BTC, BCH, BSV, BCD, BTG, or BTCP?

When the media talks about "bitcoin", are they talking about BTC, BCH, BSV, BCD, BTG, or BTCP?

This tactic of trying to confuse/trick people into buying your version of bitcoin instead of BTC has already been fully deployed by the BCH camp with feeble results. Its dishonest, untrustworthy behavior, which is why I don't disagree with Kenzawak's tag.

(ps: if you really think your tag is unfair then you should start a thread in Reputation about it and ask for feedback from other DTs -- this isn't really the proper thread to contest it)

Where is the lie?

Sorry but that won't work with me.
Not giving you the satisfaction.
Just read the ref in the trust feedback I gave you.

So there is a lie or not? Can you prove or you just libel people for no reason?

Kenzawak's feedback reads as such:

Quote
Spreading lies in order to shill BSV.

Moments after you wrote this:

Now giving me negative trust for promoting the real Bitcoin.

Saying BSV is "the real Bitcoin" is a lie. Its a fork of a fork. Did you not see the image I posted earlier which shows that a Bitcoin Cash dev is partly responsible for building your protocol's code?

His statement is only libel if its assertively not true. More people here agree with him that calling BSV "the real bitcoin" is a lie than not. Ergo, no libel has taken place. Using that term at all infers you are considering pursuing some course of legal action, which I guarantee you will not end in your favor. But, do what you gotta do.

One WO’r found another ..... perfect set up of my GF Cheesy

This is indeed a cool pic, and I was forced by the hand of Yehova to send you a merit, but still, I have too many questions....

1. Is it like a Western Union fanclub meeting going on?

2. What is generating so much trash on the beach??

3. Did you guys remember to wear sunscreen???

Anyhow, its a big world filled with billions, and its cool that you two could meet up IRL.

Me and Mic were about 50 miles apart at one point, separated by a $40 flight. I hope to make up for that at some point.
7289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 01, 2019, 07:07:28 AM
Ok its off topic, but we all love charts here and I saw a very interesting chart today.  Cheesy

I realize Shitvision Icon Calvin Ayre's chart would be 15-20 range, but Leo is with consenting adults so he gets my respect for this. I suspect many wealthy hodlers will have charts similar to this in the future after we overtake 100k.

Leo takes chicks in their prime years and then passes them off to guys like Tom Brady and Green Lantern when they are too old for him. The guy is in his own league.

I thought it was pretty clear Leo is gay and these hot supermodel beards make it even more obvious.  Cool

It could be... After all, they all pretty much look like the same damn woman. Its like jeez Leo, mix it up a little bit. At least date a brunette or a fair skinned latina or something.

Edit: at least his most recent pick is a part-time brunette.

When I was reading posts from banned user, I found this phrase

Native language: Englesh

LOL. That made me chuckle.

This guy started a career as a hardcore troller and basic all-around spammer after getting busted for running a fake signature campaign. Now he's banned.

just another signature spammer, he deserves the perm ban

Most of his comments are more awful than funny, but this one has a certain degree of irony to it.

When I was in the Shanghai airport for a layover, the first thing I did was try to do a Google search for "Tiananmen Square." But, I couldn't connect to Google, so...

Everything Google- and Facebook-related was blocked. Also no Wikipedia.

I could access tor though. Didn't screw around too deeply for fear of being arrested for thought crimes.
7293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Comparison of Offchain Solutions for Crypto Coins on: May 31, 2019, 06:21:00 PM
The real question ,  is why does knowing the truth
that Offchain is Offloading and not scaling bother you so much.

Did you miss the part of my reply where I said "who cares"?

Maybe because the scaling myth is needed for a false PR campaign , that you help promote.

You're literally attacking a problem that doesn't exist.

After your adamantly-worded doomsday predictions about bitcoin failed to materialize I don't why you're not too embarrassed to continue posting here.

But for fun let's take a look at your comment edit. Perhaps you thought you were coming off as a bit too trollish and wanted to add some substance.

True Scaling can only be achieved by Onchain Solitions, such as larger blocksizes or Faster BlockSpeeds.

For your consideration:
To increase capacity, of moving water from spot A to spot B.
You would
1. Use a Bigger Bucket
or
2. Use the same bucket but move twice as fast between Spot A & Spot B

You're not really thinking outside of the box here.

1. Bigger buckets require more energy
2. So does moving twice as fast between Spot A & Spot B

What if you could create a channel between the two spots to move the water for you?
Then you don't need to bigger buckets, and after having set up the channel the water would move with very little energy.

LOL, it was worth enough that you gave me a merit.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

In my publication number 1337 I find this:

It does not show the number of messages, shows Ieet. Shocked

I do not know what explanation it can be?

- SMF forum error
- Some gadget of @theymos

The meaning of Ieet (1337)

Quote
The term "leet" is derived from the word elite, used as an adjective to describe formidable prowess or accomplishment, especially in the fields of online gaming or computer hacking. The leet lexicon includes spellings of the word as 1337 or l33t.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leet

Any comment on this?

Yep, its a little gag put into all SMF software. It only shows on post 1337.

I tagged him too !

Also i found this about him , and looks like he copy and paste !

That's straight-up plagiarism, for what looks like scamming purposes. Surprised the plagiabot didn't catch him yet. Normally I wouldn't encourage somebody be banned for 4+ years-old plagiarism but I'm making a special exception for this guy.
7296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥[ANN][ICO]AMANPURI – Ultimate exchange – PRIVATE SALE🔥🔥 on: May 31, 2019, 04:23:00 PM
What next? We must wait until ICO ends or it can go with IEO in couple?
Both options are good, but I like IEO better.
Agree with you. The Ininial Exchange Offering could give more profit then ICO.

Dev: you really should have agreed to a minimum number of words per spam bump from your thread bumping service. These guys have just been regurgitating the same brainless one-liners for months now. I guess its a good thing you hired them. Without them, or me, your thread would be completely lifeless.

How much have you shelled out paying these guys so far?

However much it is, its way too much. I bet you've paid them more than you've collected from your little "project" thus far.
7297  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: Bitcoin SV (BSV) - fake team member and plagiarized white paper on: May 31, 2019, 04:17:14 PM
I wholeheartedly disagree with all your points, your facts, and your hostile attitude.

Only time will tell. Seems as though I’ve made a much better investment since we started arguing. Those facts don’t lie.

I don't think we'll ever agree as we apparently have different definitions of the word "fact."

I do agree with you on one point: only time will tell.

See ya later chief.

Could I get a response for a miner who understands what I am talking about please?

Nobody understands what you're talking about because you're basing your conclusions on too many assumptions.

BSV will implement gigabyte blocks in July, by then the mining reward will actually be less than the fees collected by the miners at that scale.

You're assuming that SV's blocks will be full by then. Currently, the average BSV block size is 153 KB. That's 0.12% of its max capacity of 128 MB. What good is raising the block size limit to 1 GB going to do when you're having such trouble filling its current blocks?

You see where I’m getting started? Time will tell, ive said all I’ve need to here.

That would be fine but somehow I doubt its true. I welcome honest debate. However, you're not being honest with your calculations thus far.

Miners are NOT second rate citizens in this capitalist economic model. Lightning Network damn well won’t save you. Raise the blocks or get everyone’s BTC on the lightning Network.

Bitcoin and Lightning are doing just fine, thanks for your concern.

You have now 1 month until 1 GIG blocks are implemented, and with OP return and all these applications being built on the OG protocol of BSV, it’s in the networks best interest to spam as many transactions as possible through as many applications as possible built on top of the original protocol (BSV)

That's like building a super-sized Wal-Mart in the middle of the desert. Have at it, it's not my money.

A super computer that powerful with that much hashpower can destroy all the other blockchains.

With its relatively piddly hash rate BSV will fall to this problem well before BTC.

Time to understand the facts. I really, god honestly believe none of you guys understand Bitcoin.

You don't understand the difference between an original protocol and a fork. You should probably take the time to learn that difference before you start giving lectures.

Bitcoin Blender Cryptocurrency Mixing Service Shuts Itself Down

Quote
Cryptocurrency mixing service Bitcoin Blender has reportedly willingly shut down after issuing a short notice asking its users to withdraw their funds, tech news outlet BleepingComputer reports on May 30.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-blender-cryptocurrency-mixing-service-shuts-itself-down

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=436467.240

All mixers are going to disappear.

Oof... extra glad I got into an exchange sig campaign. There's gonna be a lot of sig campaigners out of work when/if ChipMixer shuts down. Better try to up my post quality from now on as there might be some hungry competition out there.

Wasabi wallet and one's like it will fill the void

CoinJoin really is a smart way to combine transaction outputs.. Its a meaningful way to take advantage of bitcoin's relatively long block times to mix coins together. Even if something like Wasabi wallet is some day considered a "money laundering service", there will eventually be decentralized applications not owned by anyone that can achieve the same effect.
7300  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: Bitcoin SV (BSV) - fake team member and plagiarized white paper on: May 31, 2019, 03:33:30 PM
How can we deny that the original protocol is NOT Bitcoin?

Have you checked BSV's GitHub repository? BSV isn't the "original protocol" -- its a fork of a fork. Did you know that your code has edits made by Amaury Sechet (BCH) and Pieter Wuille (BTC)?

Did you see all the applications being built on BSV?

No, and nobody cares.

Attacking one character does not constitute a scam given there is a fair economic capitalist model of competition for the miners.

It certainly does. It's quite evident that most of BSV's market cap is driven by the idea that Wright is Satoshi. Have you been paying attention?

When BTC shrinks the blocksize, where the hell do you think the miners are going to go on the next halveneing? Better get all your BTC on the third party lightning network fast boys.

Why would BTC shrink its block size? You mean to less than 1 MB? Bitcoin has no problem attracting miners. In the 10 years since its inception, it never has.
