7281  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be careful. (Newbies and others ...) on: October 24, 2017, 08:06:47 PM
In my opinion, most people who are investing in bitcoin currently are new to crptocurrency world and they are riding the bandwagon, but surely, there are also smart investors who have invested lots of money into bitcoin and altcoins. Business minded people will not let their business go down, instead, take the opportunity to buy more bitcoin when the price hits the bottom. Although we may see the price of bitcoin to fluctuate, it is normal in the market. Bitcoin's development will never stop unless technology itself stops. Just hope for the best and believe in the future of bitcoin to be bright.
It is expected that bitcoin price will drop after 25th October, but i think bitcoin has a very stronger support from wise investors, they do not want to let bitcoin down on any cost. We have very good experience from previous day, when bitcoin dropped from 5000$ to 3000$, but at 3000$ bitcoin got a strong support and the price once again start increasing. i am sure that bitcoin price is not going to dump any more, it will now continue increasing and hopefully will reach to 7000$ very soon.
We might not still able to see price dip or correction as of now but yet we cant still be sure since we are still yet on 24 hours passed which means anytime soon those price corrections would happen unexpectedly but regarding on its price development theres no really doubt on that but we should not really believe on it too much knowing the properties of bitcoins price it can really drop anytime.
7282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin ending up like Yahoo in the future? on: October 24, 2017, 07:28:50 PM
The truth is, Bitcoin is not a perfect coin. There are hundreds of good altcoin than Bitcoin like DCR. But the thing is BTC is the first altcoin known by the world. I dont think Bitcoin would end up like Yahoo. Because Bitcoin is not own by any one but rather owned by the whole world.

Yahoo was the first (?) search engine at the time when Internet started.  It was the pioneer in its field.  In the late 90's its market cap reached to a high closed to $120B.   Three and a half years after Yahoo started, Google came out and gradually took away market share from Yahoo.

After 22 years, Verizon bought it for $4.8B.  Would Bitcoin ending up like Yahoo in the future and got beat up by new competitions?

What do you think?  Please provide your reason(s) to support your view.
This is the difference of Bitcoin among those things who are being owned by someone.Just like on Yahoo it is being owned by someone which they do really come to a point on where their era or popularity have fade already.Even on bitcoin isn't really excluded on that one since nothing on this world would really still remain into its place which means it can anytime be replaced by even more advanced and more developed but yet on my view Bitcoin has everything as of now.
7283  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Satoshihack.com?!? on: October 24, 2017, 04:16:57 PM
Hi all,

Im extremely new.

Is Satoshihack.com illegal in generating satoshi and giving them away after completing offers?

Is Satoshihack.com illegal or legal?

Thanks,

HB
Fake! All generators on this online world are 100000% fake and when I test it out on whats behind it then its just the traditional way for them to earn by just accomplishing surveys and others stuffs that would make them money specially on the owner of the site. Only fools would really believe on such thing.Instead of earning you would really be just only the tool for them to earn.Keep away on these kind of websites or offers.
7284  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: bitcoin legal vs illegal ??? on: October 23, 2017, 08:12:09 PM
The key problem is that bitcoin is a huge and better competitor for the fiat money system of the banks who owns the governments. In many cases the total debt of a country is similiar to what this country has paid as interest for money they have borrowed from the private banks. In other words, if governments wouldn't borrow money for interest from banks, then the total debt of a country could be zero and there would be much more money available for the people.

So if a country declares bitcoin as illegal, then because it's a dangerous system for their money printing system and not because you have the option to use it anonymous. And as several countries already declared it as legal confirms that the possible anonymous use of bitcoin is irrelevant for this decision.
This is true on which there would be always a friction among two things and this is why banking system do really see bitcoin as a competition but yet some wont really bother at all because they know that people or community would still able to stick on traditional ways that they know specially if its backed by the government.Come to think off that most people would really always rely on those things that being legalized or backed by them.
7285  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I want to start cloud mining on: October 23, 2017, 07:35:58 PM
if you really wanna use cloud minig ther is only http://www.genesis-mining.com/a/797444  and https://hashflare.io at moment .
both are tusted and proofed of there minig !
iam using genesis minig since more than 2 years now ! and its very great they pay at moment when you reach 150 000 Satoshi direct to to your bitcoin wallet!
earlier when thebtc prize was lower the payout was 50 000 Satoshi.
you cna find many poofs of there minig on there webpage and on the hole net Wink

kind regards

How can you advertise them as trusted if the only trusted thing about them is that they have the hardware. Their business model is still scammy.
It was explained over and over but there are still dumb people who send them money and get a small profit because Bitcoin suddenly became worth 5 times more.
Wake up. You haven't earned thanks to those great cloud mining companies and their system was made to benefit them, not you.

Agreed.

Genesis Mining doesn't pay everything - I'm waiting over 6 months for some payments, and it isn't still resolved. And the july-debacle created another bunch of missing payments - and unanswered tickets.

Hashflare sells you a lifetime contract and then change it to 1 year "because they can, it's written in their contract"

So they are scammy indeed.
They are starting to show off their true colors when it comes on using their service on longer periods. They cant really sustain to give that life-time contract on which I do really expect from them to do this decision on shortening the contract for 1 year. There are already lots of issue been faced either on hashflare and genesis as of now when it comes to payouts on its investors and this is the reason why do some selling out their account already on such site.
7286  Economy / Economics / Re: Generating Passive Income on: October 23, 2017, 07:11:47 PM
you can read up on the POS (proof of stake) algorithm.
It is designed to reward people that hold (stake) a certain amount of altcoins for a certain time.

This way, you can create passive income, however, it's only a limited number of altcoins that use POS, if you pick an altcoin to stake, and you gain 10% in one year, but in the same time, the altcoin's price goes down 50%, you end up with more altcoins but with less actual value.

But you can always choose solid altcoins that have even potential for their price to raise. That way not only you get extra free coins for having them, but they all grow in value. I think for now Lisk would be such candidate, as they look solid enough. And when ethereum decides to switch into PoS, I guess they will be the leading coin to hold and earn passive income so it may also be a good idea to acquire them till they are still cheap.
If ETH would really switch into POS then this would really be a huge step and yes it can really be a good option to have passive income and so as on other altcoins too but there would really be only few candidate which can able to give us on that kind of opportunity. Pointing out on those coins would really be somehow hard since we cant really be sure if they are truly capable or not specially on longer runs.
7287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Australia moves to regulate the bitcoin is it good or bad ? on: October 23, 2017, 06:13:56 PM
We still have the type of people who are afraid of bitcoin so a government making regulations will probably make that fear go away, I believe this will only bring more users in the long run.
People do really have their own opinion on such movement made by the government on planning on regulating but I do doubt that they would only adopt or regulate it on the services that do make use bitcoin thinking off that they cant really control bitcoin no matter what they do.I assume that they would just do the same thing on where Japan did made regarding on its adoptions. This would really indeed more users in longer aspects.
7288  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tricky Question, Sell BTC and buy Altcoin? on: October 23, 2017, 04:36:22 PM
It is  a good time for Crypto Land, we are on the moon,.... and even better.
When we have to sell Bitcoin and buy Altcoin?
Forking makes your Bitcoin higher,
so I can sell it.

These extra money can be used to buy (cheap) altcoins,... anyone has suggestion when do I have to start to buy it?
Its your decision to sell out your bitcoins as of now which I would say it is indeed a good decision too since this would be the sweet spot to sell on specially if you are an active trader then you would really do such thing because I do really have the doubts that price will decrease later on after the fork when the community decide on profit taking for sure.Accumulating for the sake of free bitcoin gold did really affect the price of bitcoin.
7289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does an ICO need to be successful? on: October 23, 2017, 03:22:43 PM
I am wondering what you all believe what makes an ICO interesting and successful in the end?
To answer this one ICO would really be successful if theres really a good community support because of having really a good potential project. If community would saw this thing is beneficial and really good for long term this mot likely this kind of project succeed on their crowdfunding but yet this would also need a good marketing strategy to expose more about the project because it would be somehow useless if it wont really be scattered properly about on its existence.
7290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the 3 thing you look for in an ICO? on: October 22, 2017, 09:44:30 PM
If you are totally new to ICOs I recommend the following guide as a starting point:

https://coinclarity.com/ico-101/

I'm going to be writing my own personal guide to ICO investing, probably a bit lengthier than the one listed above, having followed the phenomena since 2014.

If I had to limit the criteria to 3 things, I would have to make some sweeping, all-encompassing generalizations:

1. What is the ICO attempting to accomplish that no other project before it has? How original is the idea? Is there a sincere reason why this project could be profitable and successful, or is it just a copycat / clone of another, previously successful idea?

2. Do a gut check on the legitimacy of the ICO. What do your instincts tell you about how sincere the ICO team actually is? Is there a whitepaper, a public dev team, a decent website and decent community interaction?

3. Who is backing or supporting this ICO? Does it have any notable investors backing it, preferably ones with a demonstrable success record? Is it just trying to raise funds from an anonymous public or are there any other companies / individuals signing their support for it?

This is just a summation of about 10-15 different things I research before investing in an ICO.

Thank you for this ! I am new and these kind of posts help a lot - will check your website as well. Great. Especially the third point seems to make a lot of sense to me. It seems as when the projects do not only have the backing of participants from the ICO world, but also the backing of people from the underlying industry, there is a real connection between the two sometimes which can be very good.

Well, that's interesting ideas and as a newbie I have to read very carefully the details of those ICO platforms which been presented in the bounties of altcoins. Most importantly the reputation of the manager can give us an assurance to trust the project, like checking the spreadsheet of the campaign so you can determine how promising that ico been raised to generate good profit. But, we must be more vigilant as always because an ICO doesn't mean successful all the time, there maybe scenario that it will fail like from previous other projects who failed.
The manager has nothing to do with the success of the ICO but yet hes the one who do handle on such marketing stuff been required for him to do on such project. If we do really look up for the ratio on success and failed ICO or projects we would really able to see that Fails is more than on success. This is the reason why we should really be keen on selecting projects on which we would decide to invest on to our money.Usually I do look up for its project potential like usage/real life benfits, next developers experience and transparency.
7291  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mobile Miner - Simple Android Mining v1.1 on: October 22, 2017, 09:17:56 PM
can you add some feature witch will pause mining automatically when temperature will be high or make some timer, for example stop mining every 30 min for 2-3 minutes, it will avoid damaging phones and will be good

thanks and good luck...
In my own view you would manually pause the mining activity since its being stated you would really need to monitor up your phone for its temperature.Rates are quiet good if you do able to say the minimum earning on minute basis is 100 sats. Lets calculate 100 sats x 60 mins= 6000 sats per hour x 24 hours = 144k satoshis for an entire day that's almost $10 which isn't really bad at all and questioning have this miner do have testimonials on its profitability? seems impossible since you would most likely to burn up your phone without having any roi for sure.
7292  Economy / Marketplace / Re: 1 Year in Cryptocurrency still no luck earning bitcoin. Need some real advice. on: October 22, 2017, 08:34:35 PM
Need some expert or real advice on how I can earn bitcoin. thanks

What a waste, 1 year in cryptocurrency but your bitcointalk account rank still newbie. If you keep posting till now your rank can be sr.member right now and with that account you can earn bitcoins in this forum. What do you do in the last year man ? My advice keep posting to get activity and increase rank your account.
Wont you consider that he do engage on cryptocurrency without accessing this forum? You are just scaling up for ranks which you can earn on doing signature campaigns or some bounty campaigns.Yes this can really ad up on earning bitcoin and this is the common thing on here but actually there are lots of ways and 1 year time is really quiet long for you not to be able to upgrade your bitcoin earnings but still it not too late to make some changes. All informations are already on this forum.
This forum is not only a wonderful opportunity for so many of us to earn a good amount of money but it is also a very good way of keeping yourself up-to-date. All the necessary information related to bitcoin can be found on this forum.

Signature campaign is no doubt a very good way of earning money. If you haven’t tried your luck in this forum, then you should give it a try for having a good amount of earning.
This is the thing I do like on this forum which the latest and the recent news regarding on bitcoin and other cryptocurrency which can really be seen on here and yet this is one of the most biggest bitcoin forum then expect there are lots of valuable informations on here which would really give you idea on the ways to earn just like what I said earlier. This thing would really depend on how you search and scale up things and applied it for yourself. The harder you work the more possibilities you would earn even more.
7293  Economy / Speculation / Re: After 6,000$ When will have 6,500 on: October 22, 2017, 02:57:15 PM
Days back we crossed $6000 and the price growth didn't continue to stay above $6000 and reach the next price barrier of $6500. Hope with the entire digital currency usage increasing as a whole expect the price to reach $6500 or even higher than that after the fork or by the year end.
$6500 is somehow hard to achieve now and same as you said the price didn't continue to grow or even sustained for too long above on $6000 price which we can really presume that those ranges would really be the next target and we do see an ew resistance but still its really good to see that bitcoins price did able to hit up $6k price in a matter of short time but still I do expect always for price corrections.
7294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is important to find an escrow for ICO project? on: October 22, 2017, 02:11:46 PM
Is important to find an escrow for ICO project? What qualities should be present in an escrow?
This thing is one of the most important specially if you are an investor on a certain ICO which would really give you some assurance that you investment or money is safe incase there would be a problem or the project did fail.Unlike on not having an escrow which dev or owners of certain project would potentially ran of on the funds which would really potentially become scam.I do always refer to join on ICO which do have escrowed funds and yet there are lots of trustable escrow on this forum.
7295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Six Interesting facts about ICO on: October 21, 2017, 03:35:41 PM
Interesting research you have completed, First of all, ICO is the most profitable system at present so that it is the most popular platform. There are a lot of ICO systems which generate huge profit for this platform.
Basically, ICO is the platform that offers many profits so that a lot of investors have financially benefited and become successful from this platform. Hopefully, ICO will be one of the best investment platforms in the future and it will be the great asset for this making profit.
Back in the previous years ICO are really worth to join on those years because probability on making profits is really high but now on this year which there are already lots of crowdfunding do pop out everyday which would really lead up on saturation for the market when it comes to ICO which would really add up the risk on losing money come to think off that most of them do fail and worst become scam.By the way I do appreciate the effort posted on OP.
7296  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Help, my blockchain wallet might be hacked! on: October 21, 2017, 02:39:22 PM
i don't know what address it was stored to but it says To:2 Recipients
From:
1N58kYfGAeLTiPYJ2cdCxruz3knc5Jpn92

I never saw this kind of transactions in my life when i started using blockchain but yeah this seems interseting...

"2 Recipients" indicates that there were 2 output addresses used in the transaction... your transactions are:

https://blockchain.info/tx/b2e519a5ea5e3578a541b601a3ab420dd4134bc0afd351df1e2425fd2eb28e69
https://blockchain.info/tx/c576762297df62b40ccab89c70bd6ac8be109b20f6091a83f9c9e4ea7fe07a3c

If you did not send either of those transactions, chances are that your wallet has been compromised.

Did you store your 12 word recovery phrase on your computer or cloud based storage? Does your b.info wallet use a strong password? did you have 2FA enabled?
That wallet is already been compromised once there are uncommon transactions happen inside it then it is compromised already and most likely the 12 phrase is already been known which the best solution for now is to transfer all the remaining funds on other wallet which is more secure and I would recommend electrum instead on blockchain.Better to do it asap before its too late and those balances would be gone.

7298  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: what do you do when your idea is taken ? on: October 20, 2017, 06:50:02 PM
If someone has launched something similar to your project or token, think of what makes your project better than them. Don't be discouraged to stop because it's your project, thinking of a concept isn't an easy thing and if you do have a real business and you want to support it by that token so what's the reason that you should stop because there are some that are first to you? if I were you I'll do this.
Go forward. Be confident. Truth and perseverance will prevail.
But if you know to yourself that your project doesn't have any future plans and you don't have any realistic goals, just stop.
This thing should really be done on which if you really have the idea then better to fight on it as long you do know that you can make it even more better than to those on people who did able to copy your idea. This kind of situation do really give an odd feeling when someone did took on the thing you should tend to make but this thing actually depend on how you would further develop.Just create another one and don't mind on the copy-cat just be sure that you can do better than on that one.
7299  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: freebitco.in "Browser Mining" - is it worth it? on: October 20, 2017, 11:04:39 AM
I think it is really worth it if you have a PC (not a smartphone or tab or a laptop). Just traditional PC. And with no graphic cards. Then freebitco mining is a good option. You don't need to run your computer specfically for mining, but you can just mine when you are working on PC. Like you can set the CPU usage to 70%and keep doing your own regular work. Don't use it while gaming or some other heavy work like file conversions, video editing and all. Even though you will get very less saoshi, but the good thing is that it adds up in your regular freebitco account. And then after you reach 0.0003 BTC, you even get some daily interest. Along with other free btc rolls and all. So all your freebitco earnings gather at one place and it becomes easier to withdraw or gain interest. Also bitcoin prices in future will surely rise, so no harm in earning some satoshis without doing any hardwork!!

Is it really worth? I dont think so, I would prefer to claim faucets hourly in some faucet sites instead of using this mining feature. Indeed this feature does not requires a lot of work but claiming faucets will give more satoshis imo. I wonder how much you someone with an old PC will earn through this feature if it does not work 24/7?
I would definitely do the same thing too on which  i would rather claim faucets on hourly or on some time limits compared on wasting up my cpu processing usage. At the post above using your cpu computing power on high percentage on daily basis would really give some effects later on and i dont believe that this wont harm your pc and besides i do have suspicion that they arent mining bitcoin but rather on mining monero but well no matter whar they mine i dont really care at all.
7300  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What do you expect from cloud mining? on: October 19, 2017, 02:28:58 PM
Hello,

I'm currently looking to understand more about what are the top things you consider when it comes to mining in the cloud?

Don't bother and don't understand anymore because these kind of things are useless and most of them are scams. If there are cloud mining then its not profitable at all and would really waste up the money you would invest to. Better to find another way of investment which would really be much better on this cloud minings and if you do have the money then why not create your own mining farm?
