7301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think Bitcoins biggest vulnerability is? on: October 05, 2019, 12:28:12 PM
For now, I'd say the government is still Bitcoin's biggest vulnerability, whether through heavier regulation of on and off ramps, or through straight up investing billions in mining to ruin the whole infrastructure.

If bitcoin keeps growing at the same pace, in a few years not even the governments will be a risk for bitcoin
I may agree with this on some points because there are some countries right now that banned cryptocurrency in their own country for some reason which is a bit frustrating because they don't know what Bitcoin can do and how it can help them but... there are more countries who accepted it compare to those who banned it.

Maybe the FUD's that are spreading in the internet and the ability of the whales to manipulate it are its biggest vulnerability. Bitcoin can be easily manipulated by different whales if they want to. They can sell if they want and buy if they want. I'm predicting that in the next years, more and more people will be using not only Bitcoin but other cryptocurrencies and the chances of it to be manipulated will decrease slowly.
7302  Local / Pamilihan / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Ban rate. 82/310 members = 26.45% on: October 05, 2019, 10:43:48 AM

Robelneo and fortunecrypto and coin-investor were alts but I don't know if they will be red tag as I think it's not specified in the campaign rules that alts are not allowed. I don't know maybe let's just wait on yahoo's decision as they were reported with all valid proof.

I don't want to say this because he/they are our countrymen to be honest, this is one proof that there are some of our countrymen who are greedy when it comes to money. They will do everything just to get more money.

I don't know the owner personally but if this will be proved, there is a high chance that they will be negged.

7303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Things That Comes Into Your Mind When Winning... on: October 05, 2019, 10:31:55 AM
It depends on how much I won. During normal gambling days, I usually made moderate winnings. There is nothing so special about them. Say I won $25 today on my favorite collegiate UAAP team, in a couple of minutes I forget about it already. Those winnings do not really call for celebrations. Perhaps when I win a jackpot prize or a huge lottery prize, I will definitely be spending a good portion of it for celebration with my friends.
Agree, but it all depends on the way they play, if they play just for fun at least they don't care about the money earned from the victory and will spend it on something that is basically not very important. But for those who gamble for a profit, then at least they will save the money from the winnings to return to gamble the next day or may soon be spent on something that is indeed their need.

That's correct. I also noticed that if you gamble together with your friends, you will end up drinking and celebrating afterwards regardless of whether the game results turned out for or against you. That is my personal experience. And we talk and talk about how our betting turned out and we laugh about it even if we lost. That's the fun when you gamble with a group of friends. But when I place bets online and alone at home, whatever the result is, there seems to be nothing special.
I know some people who are like what you said. They are gambling in different sports as a group and when they win, they will use some of their winnings to go to a bar to drink (in short happy happy time Cheesy).

In my experience when I'm gambling offline and winning, I often use my winnings to buy some food with my friends and I treat them. When I'm gambling offline, I don't feel anything even I make my initial money x2 or x3. Just a normal feelings for me.
7304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: October 05, 2019, 08:13:37 AM
Lottery is a unique game if you ask me. The rules are simple, just beat the odds and win the price. You can play it several times but the cost will pile up and there is no guaranteed that you will win next time. But what encourages people to continue playing lottery is the great reward they will get. Imagining that your one-digit bet can make a million worth of money is what makes people love lottery.
Its the most simple gambling game I think but it is the least number of percentage of winnings and that makes it unique compare to other gambling games. One more is that, you don't need skills to bet in lottery. You just need numbers and money then you're good to go. The huge reward in lotteries makes it attractive to gamblers that is why many are still betting on it even they know that the chances of them to win is close to zero.
7305  Other / Meta / Re: Staff Dabs abusing merit? on: October 05, 2019, 08:06:32 AM
I don't know if Dabs is a merit source,
Base on our merit source @cabalism13, Dabs is a merit source in our local section but I rarely see him sending merits to our section.

To be honest below post doesn't deserve even single merit from me even I am a merit source and I don't see how this post could consider even good post,

I got my tokens, but I'm not sure if I've received the Incent bonus.
Well, this is something suspicious. There are more merit worthy posts than this post and yet it receives 4 merits Huh

Why do we have to care about how others use their merits? They have rights to hold their merits or send them to any posts of any user they want. There is no official guide or rule on how to send merits. Ideally, merits should be sent to good posts, but it does not matter if someone sends merits to a funny one.
Merit can be send to anybody even a spammer and a shitposter. I believe that every sMerit holder has the right to send their sMerit to anybody and there is nothing we can do about it unless we will tweak the rules about sending merits.

Overall, I find it suspicious but like I said there is nothing we can do about it as they have rights to send it into every user they want.
7306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will There Comes A Time That All Online Gambling Sites Are CryptoCurrency Based? on: October 05, 2019, 07:36:48 AM
Crypto is the best for gambling. No one willingly wants to do KYC to play gamble on the internet. So, if you choose fiat, you have to go through the KYC procedure. And honestly, every people love to stay anonymous on the internet, so, cryptocurrency is the real solution to make a gambler anonymous and safe. So, day by day all the gambling sites will be based on crypto, which will bring more volume on the crypto market!
This is one reason why adoption of cryptocurrency around the world. There are many crypto gambling sites at this moment and I believe that it will increase year after year. There are many gamblers too who doesn't want to reveal themselves or their personal information so they prefer gambling online rather than going to casinos.

Crypto gambling sites will help the increase of adoption of cryptocurrencies.
7307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice - A small mistake emptied my wallet. on: October 05, 2019, 04:35:46 AM
When I bet in some sites, I always double or triple check the amount that I put for clarification. Maybe that is the reason why you lost all of your funds. You didn't checked the amount and just use the martingale strategy and that leads you to a huge loss and I feel sorry for you.

On the other side, you will not post a thread like this if you won on your bet don't you Cheesy.
7308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: October 05, 2019, 04:29:16 AM
Gambling is an industry that provides jobs to millions of people around the world.
There might be people living off on gambling wins but they'd soon run out of luck and end bankrupt and might even go insane or turn into a criminal.
Jobs?? Maybe those employees who are working in the casino then you can consider them but to those gamblers who are seeing gambling as a profession? I don't think so.

Those people who are living off in gambling will be ran out of fuel soon I mean they will become a loser anytime and their money will be lost and will become a bankrupt.
7309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: October 05, 2019, 03:57:34 AM
In the first place, in today's NBA, Centers aren't that much of a used or main focus of a team's offense even in defense. Power Forward's position is now considered as a Center so I don't see any reason why Porzinigis should shift to the Center position. He can do some Center plays while maintaining his key role. Last season, Dwight Powell as a PF plays center for the Mavs and he did well. He can do again the job working on a center position alongside their newly acquired giant Boban Marjanović.
I agree with this. I see Warriors in the past years when they acquire KD and they usually put KD in the paint alongside with Green and Thompson or Igoudala. In my opinion, Porzingis must stay as a PF as the Mavericks have other players for the Center position like Marjanovic and Powell can be a center too. Its better if Porzingis will stay in the PF position because he can also shoot in the perimeter and in the 3 point line too.

On the other games, Brooklyn Nets won against the Sesi Franca 137-89
7310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Cock Fighting on: October 05, 2019, 03:04:13 AM
I dont see why so many people are against here cocks fighting
This is a cultural sport and might shock many people (such as myself) but this is about more then the cocks
There are people who want to gamble on the animals with BITCOIN so I think they should be allowed to as long as its legal in your country
For some countries who doesn't have cock fighting then they see it as a cruel to the animals but in our country, there are many gamblers who loved to gamble in cock fighting. Yes it is a cultural sport for us and many people are gambling to it.

In our country, it is very popular that they have created a parody music about it. Here is the video (just a parody) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifIwRHrADBc

7311  Local / Pamilihan / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Ban rate. 96/310 members = 30.96% on: October 04, 2019, 02:51:43 AM
Mukhang may mga kababayan na naman tayong masasali sa listahan ng ban account ni yahoo, see below links for info. Sabi ko nga, this campaign is a trap so better be very careful mga kabayan.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5188200.msg52639859#msg52639859
Well to be honest, marami sa ating mga kababayan ang mapang abuso pagdating sa mga campaigns kagaya nito kaya maraming nababan at may mga kababayan din tayo na kasama sa mga dun.

In some points, yes it can be consider as a trap dahil may mga users na gagawa ng investigations sa mga kasali dun at once na nakita nila na may prob. sau ibaban ka agad at sa future campaigns ni yahoo. On the other side naman, if alam mong di ka spammer ok lang na sumali ka sa yobit camp. pero para sa akin di magtatagal to Cheesy
7312  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [GAME CONTEST]--💰🎁PREDICTION PRICE OF BTC in Q3🎁💰-- on: October 03, 2019, 02:58:36 AM

7313  Economy / Speculation / Re: Q4 -Quarter 4 speculation thread, where will 2019 end, join the LIST on: October 02, 2019, 06:21:53 AM

I used Observation Haki to my prediction Wink
7314  Local / Pamilihan / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Ban rate. 82/310 members = 26.45% on: October 02, 2019, 05:58:29 AM
Langya angbilis. Imagine mo, parang as far as I know 1-2 weeks palang tumatakbo ung CryptoTalk campaign tapos ganyan agad karami ung na kick? Well, at least mahigpit talaga si yahoo62278.

7315  Local / Pamilihan / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Ban rate. 82/310 members = 26.45% on: October 02, 2019, 01:41:46 AM

7316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big news for BTC exposure and adoption! on: September 22, 2019, 01:33:33 PM
It is one step towards mass adoption Cheesy.

Within this year, more and more establishments are accepting Bitcoin and some are advertising it. Compare to last year, there are more people who are advertising and introducing it to the public. Well I know that this will increase in the succeeding years.
7317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which do you think is better, buy at tokensale or buy at public exchange? on: September 22, 2019, 01:28:21 PM
From the 2, I think buying in the exchange is better because the risk is lower compare to buying it in the tokensale. If you buy it at a tokensale, yes there is a huge bonus that you can get and the amount of tokens you will get is higher but the question is will it be listed on an exchange? Some aren't listing it.

Now if it is listed, as an investor you must sell it immediately after listing. What if you didn't sold it after a few hours and you can only sell it at a loss? Take note that after listing, most if not all of the tokens are plummeting immediately after listing on an exchange.
7318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sometimes its always the investors fault on: September 22, 2019, 01:09:54 PM
For me, I think the fault of the investor is they are expecting too much profit in investing in ICO's and IEO's to the point that their expectation is very high already. I know how tokensale works already. They will launch a token sale mostly on reputable exchanges and then after the sale and the time comes that it will be listed, the team and the investors will dump the coin causing it to plummet and then they will buy it again to pump a bit. This happens all the time with coins after listing on an exchange.
7319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening to new projects? on: September 22, 2019, 12:53:44 PM
What the *eck is going on? we have many good projects coming into crypto space but they mostly end up failing, too many good new projects are dying as if they are been created to just die, what do you think its killing new good projects apart from scam projects?
Lack of community and supporters - One reason why projects are slowly dying because the project doesn't have any supporters or investors.
Lack of marketing / advertising - this and the first one has a relation because if the team doesn't know how to market / advertise their project, the investors will not know what the project is even though it is a good project.
7320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has Altcoin Season Arrived? on: September 22, 2019, 12:36:24 PM
Nope.

It is just a pure manipulation. Did you saw what happened after that pump?? It immediately dumped because the manipulators are just controlling the market and those newbie investors did join the train and now some of them are at loss. In short they got FOMO'ed because they hoped that the pump is the start of the altcoin season. Stupidity
