Yh I think Halep messed up or it was a 100% correct result LOL. Bencic came back and won the match.

Honestly speaking one mind is picking Bencic  and another mind is pushing me saying that Svitolina will win the game. I give Svitolina advantage because of her consistency. Whatever the result will be, we will see a good fight in betwee Svitolina/Bencic

I read reports saying the she really grew tired in the second sets and that she is getting cramps and then his achilles started to flare up that's why she can't get a good serve. Make sense since this is a very fast court. Anyways, not taking anything from Bencic, she really did play well in that match, that's why its really hard to pick which one is going to win in the semis.
7302  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with smart contracts? on: February 22, 2019, 12:40:15 PM
Yes, this is a binary option which is based on Ethereum network. I haven't tested it yet, but I will gave you one thread I found: p2ptrade.io-decentralized p2p trading platform.Based on smart contracts. But since this is a binary options, it's more of a gamble to me, so just be careful. Also you can PM the user p2ptrade directly if you have any questions or doubts.
7303  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-20] Bitcoin is back!!! on: February 22, 2019, 12:30:10 PM
Bitcoin has never been gone. These news have been monitoring the movement of bitcoin, when it pumps there will be a headline. And whenever it dumps, there's always a headline for it.

It really shows that Bitcoin is really affected by news, whether good or bad. Of course, Bitcoin is here to stay, although many exited because the price went on a dramatic slump, but it doesn't mean we're gone, we will always recover and come back strong.

That article says that bitcoin would move up to $4,200 which is likely.

It's just a matter of time. Bitcoin has been hovering around the $4,000 in the last week, just a little push and we will be there.
7304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you buy National Lottery tickets with Bitcoin in your country? on: February 22, 2019, 12:19:07 PM
I am just curious to know if you can buy lottery tickets for your own national lottery in your country. I am not referring to all these scam gambling sites with supposed "Provably Fair" lottery systems.

Even though I lived in a country wherein we can used our bitcoin to pay our monthly bills like electricity and water and credit cards, I'm not aware that it's possible to used bitcoin to buy lottery tickets.

If enough people ask for this, they just might consider giving us that option to pay with bitcoins.  Grin  What payment options do you have for online lottery in your country?

I'm not really sure if this is a effective method though. Buying lottery tickets here is all about timing, if you're going to buy close to the date of the lottery, expect a long line, so if bitcoin is going to be used, it may slow down and I'm sure lots of patrons will complain about it. So I guess, the old and traditional fiat will still be the best option.
7305  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: “World’s first unhackable device” on: February 22, 2019, 12:09:54 PM
So the title of this thread should be
 “World’s first unhackable device”
Exactly, the claim for that has been gone. They can't prove their claim as someone successfully hacked that device, yes this is one of the oldest. And you know what's more?

The one who's able to hack that wallet is just 15 years old by that time named Saleem Rashid.

Not only that but Saleem previously hacked or exploited Ledger in 2017. For more of his exploits you can read below. This kid is really a genius.

https://saleemrashid.com/

I don't know if he receives any bounty from Bitfi, however, he turn down the bounty in the Ledger exploit because Ledger wanted a NDA, which he refuses so now he shows everything how it can be done. You can follow everything on his blog and his other exploits as well.
7306  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: “World’s first unhackable device” on: February 22, 2019, 06:30:27 AM
But isn't it was hacked already? Not once but twice already:

https://techcrunch.com/2018/08/30/john-mcafees-unhackable-bitfi-wallet-got-hacked-again/

Quote
Security researchers have now developed a second attack, which they say can obtain all the stored funds from an unmodified Bitfi wallet. The Android-powered $120 wallet relies on a user-generated secret phrase and a “salt” value — like a phone number — to cryptographically scramble the secret phrase. The idea is that the two unique values ensure that your funds remain secure.

But the researchers say that the secret phrase and salt can be extracted, allowing private keys to be generated and the funds stolen.

And I think this is a old news already. Nothing is unhackable in this crypto verse. Anyone will find a way to exploit systems, just saying, whether your hardware or software attacks.

There goes Halep losing again after winning the first set. How is this even happening so many times? Everytime she goes up a set and a break, she somehow manages to lose from there. Something is wrong mentally.
Too bad that Halep lost. It was a bad show for her.

Anyway we got our forth semi finalist too. Svitolina won the match. This means

Hsieh
Kvitova
Bencic
Svitolina

are the four semi finalist.

Bencic vs Svitolina and Hsieh vs Kvitova. I think Kvitova and Svitolina is going to see each others in the final. Bencic may have a chance too.

WTF? What happen to our Halep @Royse777? We could have perfectly predicted the QF outcome except for her lost. Grin. She was up the first set and then suddenly choke? What's up with that? Anyhow, it going to interesting, I wanted to see Hsieh continue his giant killing spree but I wouldn't be surprised if Kvitova will end her run. Bencic vs Svitolina is also very intriguing. I will go with Bencic here, maybe she still has the momentum of that huge Halep upset against Svitolina.
7308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Mikey Garcia vs Errol Spence on: February 22, 2019, 04:41:35 AM
Betting line here from Nitrogen sports and Sportbets.io - I would go for Garcia, I like the odds, looking for an upset in this fight.

Oh thanks. Yeah, probably would love to go with Garcia because of the good odds.  Grin

@Twinkledoe - Yes, as I have said, Manny Pacquiao shows us how can someone moved up in weight and be successful, but not everyone can do it.

For me, Mikey's best weight is around 130 lbs - 140 lbs, he is like a ballooned in 147 lbs that might affect his performance in the latter round.

@NavI_027 - Someone's 0 will be gone, that's for sure. Grin
7309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Mikey Garcia vs Errol Spence on: February 21, 2019, 03:36:20 PM
~ snip ~

I think increasing the weight isn't the reason for the losing of the fighter it's depend of their Dedications and capabilities with big brave heart How to get victory. I will watch this exciting event this march.

Yes, however, if you're talking about Manny Pacquiao, well he has rose in ranks and fight bigger guys, but Manny is a freak of nature. Just look at Nonito Donaire, he try to emulate Manny, move up in weight and challenge Walters, for the featherweight title and lost.

@YuginKadoya - yes, definitely Garcia has a shot of winning, but Errol Spence is the natural 147 lbs so it means he has more power against Garcia who's going to really push his body to meet the required limit, although he doesn't need to drain his body, but most of the time, fighters who are moving up in weight will have a lot of disadvantage.
7310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is completely legal in at least 111 countries, and illegal in only 10 on: February 21, 2019, 03:25:29 PM
It's kinda funny to realise that bitcoin is illegal or restricted in most of the "not-so-democratic" countries.
The real problem is the unclear status of bitcoin in the Tier1 countries(USA,UK,Canada,Australia,New Zealand)+the EU countries.By 'unclear' I mean that bitcoin isn't considered a currency. It's still considered as a digital asset.

Isn't it Australia already the second country to adopt bitcoin after Japan in July 2017?

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-to-become-just-like-money-in-australia-july-1

Anyways, it will be exciting to hear the stance of Tier 1 countries, but for now, it's clear that regulations is really needed before they can somewhat classify what bitcoin is. But at least lots of countries really regulated or at least very open specially to bitcoin, which in the last 10 years have gotten lots of bad media that's why countries took a hard stance against it for the possible "disruption" in can bring to their financials system.
7311  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-17] Crypto Miner: The Next Bull Run Could Take Bitcoin Up To $700k on: February 21, 2019, 03:15:50 PM
Random and overestimated prediction for the near future... The only thing I could think about is this guy trying to make the buzz to attract customers to his service and cryptocurrencies in general.

Definitely, there's a lot of over estimated prediction as of late, specially in the last couple of days since the market has somewhat make some rally. But I don't know, this is just a marketing ploy on their side since their business rely on bitcoin so it's obvious they want to make a hype right now so that people will invest and everything will fit on their narratives. And if ever it reaches $700,000, it might take a decade to happen, so let's see how it pans out.

7312  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price increase on: February 21, 2019, 02:56:09 PM
This week Bitcoin has begun to show a good increase and I think many people are happy and happy with the current increase,
will the price be as soon as possible to recover at $ 20,000?

I really don't understand why you guys are so excited to see the price jump to $20,000. You just have to remember that it took us months or years to see the price hits all-time-high. So in this case, it will not be overnight, we have lost like 80%-90% already, so to get to at least $20,000 there could be waves of bull run to happen, it could take years though.
7313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEM Philippines Helps Universities Provide Blockchain Electives on: February 21, 2019, 02:45:38 PM
Wow, was surprised by this news, I envy the young generations of today, a lot of opportunity for them to really take advantage of this new technology and I'm sure those who enter this course will have a good future ahead. I still consider Ateneo de Manila University a good school in the country, so this is a win win situation for Filipinos who really wanted to sought out what this technology is all about and in the future companies who's going to implement it will not have a hard time finding qualified individuals because the training is already been laid out as early as today in the Philippines.
7314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Boxing: Mikey Garcia vs Errol Spence on: February 21, 2019, 02:28:22 PM
I haven't seen a thread about this two, this is a exciting fight as Mikey Garcia moves two weight class and challenge Errol Spence for the IBF welterweight belt on March 16.

Source: https://www.boxingscene.com/mikey-garcia-errol-spence-get-best-me--136441

I don't think that Mikey Garcia though could get a win here. He is not a natural 147 lbs and Spence is on a different league. I'm expecting Spence to win a UD and give Garcia his first career loss. Please take note that Spence name has been throw as well in the Manny sweepstakes so it's gonna be exciting to see this fight as well.

What are your thoughts about the fight?
7315  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What approach/methods will you use during the next BTC Bull Run? on: February 21, 2019, 02:20:20 PM
Based on the last bull run we have in 2017, I would say buy and HODL, there's nothing wrong with this strategy, just saying. And as long as you have to funds and you're willing to take the risk, then why not? Well, there could be other approach but if you ended up with the same result then you just stick with the proven strategy already. Again, I'm a proponent of don't make things complicated, I like "if aint broke dont fix it", attitude.
7316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: February 21, 2019, 02:10:11 PM
Ok, so this is the quarter final setup:

Halep vs Bencic
Kvitová vs Kužmová
Hsieh vs Plíšková
Suárez Navarro vs Svitolina

The match is hard to predict because this ladies is like evenly match at this point. I'd say that Halep, Kvitová and then Hsieh and Svitolina will move on the semis. How about you guys?

Hsieh already got the ticket to the Semi. Now for the rest here is my try although I have no much knowledge about some of them:

Kvitova
Halep
Svitolina

And seems like we both have the same prediction. Let's see.

Kuzmova Vs Kvitova is about to start.

Ok so Hsieh got the win already, so continue his giant killing spree. Down 1-5 in the third set and eventually won 6-4, 1-6, 7-5.

Kvitova also won on the other side of the bracket, 6-4, 6-0 setting up match between the two.

So let's see how the other side on the bracket tomorrow. I still think that Halep will overcome Bencic in 3 sets.
7317  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Exciting New Project on: February 21, 2019, 02:00:39 PM
You didn't even provide the link to the exchange, then how can we get excited from it? LOL

Of course we love exchanges, the more the merrier. However, this is a cut-throat business and there are a lot of established trading platforms already. Do you have the guts to take them head on? If I where in your shoes, you need better marketing than this, you get to go out and hire someone to promote it if you wanted to stay on this business. Goodluck though.
7318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung confirms the rumor! on: February 21, 2019, 01:40:09 PM
~ snip ~

i am still not sure about this. i think i have to wait until it is actually released to see what it is doing. at this point it mostly seems like the infrastructure that allows storage of private keys in a secure manner in the phone's hardware and it is not a wallet but you have to build wallets on top of it yourself. if that is the case then it can be a good thing in my opinion although it still is a bit strange to be honest.

Yeah, it's a bit strange, but my problem is that hackers all all over the place, so the possibility is always there, but we will see, I'm sure there could be lots of mix emotions about it one, specially for those crypto holders who are paranoid about security.

~ snip ~
An expensive phone like this doesn’t even fit on my pocket, so I will also not buy this one just because they support cryptocurrency. Anyway, I also love an old school phone but of course this is great for samsung users here.

For me as long as the phone has the basic support, ability to call or received a call, of course the sms messages, then I'm fine with what phone I'm using. But yes, this is really great for the whole crypto market, so I'm not totally against it, but I'm not willing to shell out thousands of dollars.  Grin
7319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung confirms the rumor! on: February 21, 2019, 04:09:08 AM
I'm still not buying this, too expensive to be honest. I'm an old school as you can get so I would rather buy hardware wallets as they're way more cheaper plus you still feel safe. I'm not saying that the Samsung phone is bad, but we all know our smart phones are always online, so there is the risk than your wallet can be expose and your coins can be compromise, just saying.
7320  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think crypto trading can help nation with no Job create jobs? on: February 21, 2019, 03:59:11 AM
Anyway it looks like you're just promoting your trading platform here. But to answer your questions, obviously, it been tested already that crypto trading can be used as an alternatives to make money. We have seen many threads before specially during the crypto peak in 2017, saying that they quit their job and just focused trading to make money. But the main thing here is that making money here doesn't work clockwise, so don't depend on it like it's your main job to bring food in your family. You still have to go for a regular job and treat crypto trading as a sideline, IMHO.
