7301  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to get started on escrowing? on: October 19, 2017, 01:23:28 PM
After being around the forums for about a year, I find the escrow service a really interesting one, and would like to be able to be one myself when I rank up a little bit more. I guess that there are still some key points I'd need to know on how to becoming a good escrow (basically not getting a shiny red trust from day 0). So there goes my question, any tips on how to be an escrow?
You wont get red trust if you don't really do something stupid. As long you are doing the service well then you should be fine. Being trusted on this forum would be somehow hard specially to start up if you do really try to look on the competition where there are lots of trusted escrows on here which you can really view that people will normally go into reputable ones but wishing and becoming an escrow isn't impossible. You can start up anytime, just a piece of advice start up on small transactions which on your start up its better to make it free regarding on the service you would made.
7302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Ever Be Shutdown? on: October 19, 2017, 12:57:31 PM
I was just wondering, what would it take for the Bitcoin Network to be shutdown completely?
No electricity, No internet connection. These two will completely shutdown bitcoin because there would really be no transactions would be made knowing that it would really need internet for bitcoin to be transacted and all other things that do rely on internet itself will surely collapse too even on traditional banking system this would really make things mess up for sure.I cant imagine a world without internet though. Cool
7303  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin - new Business Opportunities on: October 19, 2017, 11:58:54 AM
Hi all,

I would like to know if you see some business opportunities in Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency in real market. You can report real case of local business opportunity, for example ATM machines, advisory activites, support to business, lottery, etc...that you have seen in your country or abroad, and that can be easily followed at the own country.

 Wink

Well, i obviously see a lot of business opportunities with Bitcoin, but unfortunately i don't see any of them happening around me. I have never heard of a news of any Bitcoin activity going on within my country, and i really want that to happen in future. In other countries, there are shops accepting bitcoins, now even universities and some other educational institutes have started accepting bitcoins in some countries. So for sure, bitcoin provides a very large platform for businesses if someone is willing to use it.

Same with here I didn't see any news regarding on bitcoins implementation and adoption but we can still see some numerous of opportunities given with this coin, And you shouldn't wait for your country to accept this coin since the acceptance will start from you and you could bring up some people to this out and can able to give some opportunities by teaching them out on this. And expect that in future if bitcoins adoption will be good, there are business establishment will came up adopting bitcoins in good cause.
This is the best thing to do now when bitcoin services or adoption on your place is still low then better to spread awareness of bitcoin existence even just only the place or your vicinity which would really give others some opportunity to know bitcoin. It might be on small scale but somehow would add up on spreading the news.Actually ive been waiting for this thing to happen until into these days but I'm sure this will really happen and I would really be glad on using my bitcoin on the services I do know or even buying goods.
7304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I was super cheap, think this transaction will ever confirm? on: October 19, 2017, 09:47:27 AM
Hi as i can see this transaction is confirmed,i want to ask from where did you done this transaction at this cheap price.
I use exodus wallet and they charge very high on transactions ,and i donot even have control over the fees, could you please tell.
Thanks.
To be honest, i accelerate it. So the transaction confirmed when some miner mine got a new block. If you want to use wallet that you can control the fees, use bitcoin core / electrum. If web wallet, you can use blockchain.info (even i dont recomend you use web wallet, but choice in yours)
Core wallet and electrum are ones of those wallet which you can actually able to edit the fees. seeing on the transaction above it is indeed being confirmed already which he set up 4 sat/byte is actually low.Anytime you do make transactions you should always check this in order to set the fees: https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ . Since this transaction have been confirmed already then its much better to lock this thread.
7305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: altcoins bounty campaigns are waste on: October 19, 2017, 08:37:58 AM
Recently i took part in couple of bounty campaigns, and i though i can earn some decent amount through it...but it was a total waste...i took part in targetcoin and coss ico campaign and after 2-3 months i recieved the bounty which is worth only about 8 USD including both Embarrassed it was just total waste of effort and time
You should really expect these kind of situation knowing that joining bounty campaigns wont really assure you that you can able to make money once the project did able to launch on exchanges. Some may succeed some may fail and the worst thing is that it would become scam. I have tried out this thing on which I do participate on some bounty campaign for a month but unlucky the bounty were too small which isn't really worth the effort but well it didn't make me stop however and treat those experience as learnings.
7306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum wallet on android on: October 18, 2017, 10:43:12 PM
If you are comfortable with online wallets, then choose Coinbase. They do have an Android and a iOS App and have the same functionalities like the BTC and LTC wallet. Besides that, there is also price chart and widgets.
If you do try to read it again on what being said on op he did say that he feel uncomfortable on using web wallets and we all know that coinbase is an exchange wallet which we dont have the access on out private keys and i would rather choose up myether wallet than on this one. It would already enough for me and for op if you do really like to try something else then try jaxx same as suggested above.
7307  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: job and trading together.. on: October 18, 2017, 10:18:07 PM
I think I can earn limited amount of money every month. I want to invest my money in trading. How can I get a good
a good amount profit every month??How I research the market? How to find out the good coin to invest? Thanks in advance ....
If you do have work then the kind of trading would suit you in is on for long term which I would suggest that invest on the top marketcap coins which you would tend to hold up for too long because active day trading wont really suit you out knowing that this thing requires time or even full time in front of a pc. The active you are on trading the possible more incomes you would make but would still depend on how skillful and experienced you are on this one.
This is actually true where you wont really have a time too much for active day trading which is primarily need for you do have which is "Time" since you do have day stable job then sideline trading will be always a good idea and this is what I'm doing now.Im having a job and when I'm on the office I do make some slight trades either an active one or for longer terms depending on my trading style and situation as long I can see for me to able to make money. Its just really a matter of time management. Good amount profit on trading is really possible.
7308  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin atm on: October 18, 2017, 09:45:47 PM
There is a atm in dubai also it's not open for the public but i couls sneak in as no one from the office it was in used it a lot and they still have 40 bitcoin left i did buy 1 bitcoin but the best part was i wasn't charged any fees not even the transaction fees. We won't find these features in publick bitcoin atm but the transaction took 1 hour to be sent
It quiet odd that those atm are not open on public. How those bitcoin atm owners would able to make some profits?Knowing that this is also a business after all unless if the owner decide to bought it just for the sake of trying it out on selected people only not solely for business. It isn't bad after all and good for you that you did make some purchase which is you don't have even a charge but for me bitcoin atm is solely created to be put it publicly on where people could able to purchase on.
7309  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo fees is too high. on: October 18, 2017, 04:11:15 PM
Before xapo is one of the best wallet for me, i love this wallet before because it is very easy to used and the confirmation is very fast, and i do not experience any problem on this wallet, but when the transaction fee is continuous increasing all things getting worst for me and i stop it already because my earnings cut down due to transaction fee. Now i am looking for other wallet as alternative to received income to my other earning method.
It really was, they started out nice and all of a sudden they just lost it. And I can't really say the same any more. If you are looking for a very good wallet, I will advise you just move straight to a desktop wallet like exodus or electrum as they are decentralized.

However for online wallets, bolckchain.info really do have a good reputation. Now they provide 2 options for setting fees for out going tx. I choose "normal fee" (another one is high priority fee) most of the time and getting confirmations within 1 to 2 hours.
This is what I like on those lite wallets like electrum because you can set out a particular fee which would really suits you in depending on the situation on how fast you would like to be confirmed on such transactions. Coinbase and xapo now do really charged way too high and cant really be changed at all which if you do make micro transactions then you would really feel the pain on sending because fees are way too high.
7310  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is falling, But don't worry! on: October 18, 2017, 03:11:48 PM
Bitcoin started falling and might fall upto $4800. The main support is at $4800, bitcoin markets supports doesn't works like other currencies as rumors and fake peoples makes panic between peoples to make the market fall and buy coins in cheaper price. Now its time!!  Grin Buy more BTC's because BTC is going to $10K soon!!

Yes!! Last month this same f**k happened with us with JP Morgans speech and panic between peoples. Let bitcoin fall as much as possible and buy more coins that you can make more money. Bitcoin is the #1 Number One Online Currency now and popular in all over world.  Wink

Now it starts falling and you will find rumors in google about fakes news to make panic between peoples. Bitcoin will be higher in $6000+

#ITS_TIME_TO_BUY

If we do base on technical analysis you can really drawn out on where the main support is which is really on $4800 range which I do really wait up for that price point to go back and buy all I had which I consider this point would be the cheapest bitcoin as of this year but well anytime it can breakout that support which means it would still potentially go down even more. FUDS are normal for people and it did somehow affect the price and you can really avoid those people who do easily panic.
7311  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoinker lure people in, then gradually lowers pay? on: October 18, 2017, 01:48:10 PM
We did indeed reduce the claim amounts a few days ago, due to the Bitcoin price increase.
Thanks for replying here.

I think the site should be more transparent about its policies. And maybe changes are better enacted gradually. A drop of about 25% is quite noticeable.
I switched from another similar faucet, that has not changed its rates, because it seemed like here there's more bang for the buck, for a similar number of captchas until reaching minimum pay threshold. But the number of cycles to reach minimum threshold has jumped from the initially apparent, after the first few tries, of 1000, to 1100 after a few more, to maybe 1500 now.

You cant do anything about it since its owners decision on changing rules or threshold. If you don't like on sudden change then you are free to leave and jump in other site. Its just like that. Payrates would really change anytime since they would depend on the price of bitcoin. If they wont do such thing specially on sudden price increase then they would normally lowers the amount on bitcoin rate. PPC sites are waste of time and there are lots of things or way that much better on this one.
7312  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Turning crypto into fiat or is that even nessesary anymore! on: October 16, 2017, 05:49:19 PM
Most efficient and cost effective way of exchanging BTC to fiat is using your local exchanges for many reasons, of-course make sure they are trusted before you use them.

The issue is that local exchanges can be potential scams. I'd say dealing with someone very trusted here who accepts escrow is better than dealing with a local exchanger. Overall, exchanged just boil down to what you're comfortable with though.
There is no doubt in this thing that there are so many scammers sitting in the local exchange market but this doesn’t mean that you stop converting your crypto into fiat or vice versa. You need to find some good trading exchange like that of Bittrex trading exchange. You’ll hardly find any insecurity while performing any transaction over there.
Always go for those sites which are reputable and been known regarding on legitimacy on their service when it comes on exchanging your bitcoin to fiat itself but there are really some limitations which a certain individual would find out exchange would really be hard for them specially if the option on exchanging isn't available for them but well there are lots of alternative ways which you can eventually select and as being suggested just really be careful on to whom you are dealing with.
7313  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Research Shows Half a Billion People Are Mining Cryptocurrencies Without Knowing on: October 16, 2017, 04:45:07 PM
This is something that is not only ethical but I see as invasion of privacy but there is nothing anyone can do about it because of this site are essential to be visited on a daily basis. I think I also need to appreciate frebitco.in because its from there I first heard about something like this and for the fact that they are making it open to people, makes it worth commending all the same time. I wish this can be corrected and people are even been compensated for the use of their resources.

You meant unethical, right?  Cheesy

I think this issue is easy to solve though. One website that uses your computer's power to mine is said to be PirateBay. Just download what you need then close that website's tab. I think that should be easy enough. Or probably install a sort of noScript browser extension.
There are other plugins/extensions that one can install to block coinhive miner. i have installed this one (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/no-coin/gojamcfopckidlocpkbelmpjcgmbgjcl).

What?Huh  They should inform us or at least ask for permission.  They got all the profit at the expense of our CPUs.  Criminals in disguise.

QUOTE
We found 220 sites that launch mining when a user opens their main page, with an aggregated audience of 500 million people. These people live all over the world; there are sites with users from the USA, China, South American and European countries, Russia, India, Iran… and the list goes on.

The ethical way for a website to earn money by mining through its audience’s computers is to ask the audience for permission first, and to allow them the possibility to opt out. Actually, such a practice could make mining even more ethical than ads. After all, nobody asks us if we would like to see ads on a website.

is this what you called cloud mining? how?
It's called browser mining lol.
That's for the link brother since ive been searching on this kind of thing which do actually blocks possible backdoor mining. This would somehow get rid of those things. Browser mining is the new trend now and I was amazed that it is possible to mine with it. What are those hackers they are really good on money making  Cool
7314  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I want to enter on this ''business'' on: October 16, 2017, 04:00:45 PM
Hello to all . I am new here and i hope you can help me with some answers of my questions.

I am a little bit new in this ''business'' and i want to know if i can enter now to mining bitcoin .

I have 1000 euro for beggining and i want to know if i can start to mining from home . The electricity is not problem for me ( cost 0 ) and also i have a room where is cold all the time and is ventilated . Anyone can recommend me something to start ?

Thank you
Seeing on the amount you are willing to invest in then it wont really be sufficient enough to buy a single miner itself unless if you do go for 2nd hand antminer s7 which can able to mine bitcoin since you don't have any problem on electricity then you would really make some profits but don't expect that ROI would really be short and considering that s7 would have lesser hash than on latest s9. You can check it out there bitmain.com on their prices.
7315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes on: October 16, 2017, 02:36:36 PM
Well people were paid in cash for crimes too, bitcoin is just another currency. And why now, BTC rose with the darknet markets that sold guns and provided what all services. Still provide I think
Even when there was no bitcoins, crime was very rampant and criminals were still making money. People should stop attributing bitcoins for use by criminals alone because there are lots of people including myself who uses bitcoins for legit things only.
Yes, even before bitcoin getting into usage crimes were happening all around. Bitcoin with its key features made some criminal activities to be done in a much easier manner. Based on the same media started to attribute bitcoin along with crimes. People should understand the goodness it can provide and should work accordingly.
When it comes on popularity of bitcoin but on the negative side which was caused by media on where they do really always say such thing against bitcoin but we cant do anything about it since bitcoin can really be used in crimes since from the start while it was just starting knowing that bitcoin does have a value which means criminals would normally think to use this as a perfect medium for their operations because bitcoin does have the perfect feature to execute such thing.
7316  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: any one is mining in the Philippines? what is your rig specs? on: October 16, 2017, 01:39:00 PM
any good advice for what is the minimum rig? that can compensate with the expenses?
I would like to say that you should join on those FB groups which do mine on Philippines.I have seen them mostly having 7 gpu set-up in order to be profitable on mining considering on the electricity cost in PH is really expensive compared on other countries.I have seen them that they are mostly using 1060-1070 or rx 550 or rx 470 it would really depend on them on what would be the gpu but atleast you do have 7x gpus.
7317  Economy / Economics / Re: Bumps on the road to BTC general adaptation, preventing increase in its price on: October 15, 2017, 08:57:19 PM
I looked at my web search history and I see that I searched for bitcoin back in 2013, 2016 and 2017. In every instance, I saw negative comments, especially from mainstream media and how useless bitcoin is. Most of the time apparently I went to bitcoin.com and it did not convince me to get bitcoin. I vaguely remember going to a faucet one time back in 2013 but it was full of ads and I did not get the concept back then Sad
This happened until after I was fired from my job and saw the high increase in 2017 July, which is kinda late. I spent like 2 months to figure out how to send fiat money to a good exchange.
These are the bumps on the road to the general adaptation of bitcoin.
Do you have an idea on how we can make Google search bitcoin-friendly?

Even now the top three search results come up with:
Bitcoin rallies to hit a one-month high but experts warn of a volatile upcoming event
C[Suspicious link removed]m · 23 hours ago
Bitcoin's price bubble will burst under government pressure
The Guardian · 18 hours ago
Collapse of Bitcoin Inevitable According to Harvard Economics Professor
CoinTelegraph · 5 hours ago
ALL NEGATIVE!

If you have search for bitcoin back then so you are all aware that is has risen many folds and that people are going to bitcoin because its a safe haven as investment and store of value. And people are getting away from traditional banks. So banks are threaten that's why you will heard a lot of negative news from them. That's one sector that doesn't want bitcoin to take off. This is another bump in the road. You will always get this negative news and I'm telling you it won't stop anytime soon. If you understand the value of bitcoin, then you don't have to be afraid of the negative news you will find on Google. Just go and invest on bitcoin and don't be affected by all the biased mainstream media.
It wont be easy as it goes because peoples mind is somehow dependent on the informations given by the government specially on media. Bumps and blockage is really normal on bitcoin field and same as you said government are really threatened on this one because of the potential effects that it would give specially on financial aspects together with criminality increase knowing bitcoin is anonymous and can be used on illegal stuff. This is the reality on the negative side of bitcoin but we should set aside that stuff and better to focus on its positive side.

HYIP community? Then it would be a big No for me. For sure people most on here are already aware on whats HYIP and why we would join up the group? for what purpose? On planning on scamming greedy people?
No thanks and this thing shouldn't really be tolerable at all and I would rather join up ICO community and discussing about it rather than on discussing scam HYIPs.

Hello,

Recovering them would be somehow impossible if you don't have the keys but well there are feedbacks on here.
7320  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: It is good to invest money to a btc doubler mining sites??? on: October 15, 2017, 06:06:10 PM
thank you so much for the info about that ponzi2 schem..
better ignore to that kind of double sites.. instead to double???rather become into zero..
thanks guys for the info ..  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Very nice, now you can tell your friends and acquaintances that it's not a good idea to invest on such sites, spread the word and these schemes will have even less and less investors... Some people see it like gambling, but not the poors ones that are losing hard their few satoshis, so let these 'gamblers' sustain these sites by themselves without money of poor people involved. Also, if you are already satisfied with all answers you can close this thread.  Smiley
It would really be a good idea to spread the awareness of these scam site so that they wont victimized newbies but yet seeing on the situation there are still some websites do ran which there are still people who do easily fall into these traps. The greedy nature of a certain person is really he main cause why we do really fall into these one.We should think off that theres no easy money in the internet which we do really need to work to attain it.
