Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

It will be confirmed, yesterday people sent me with 2 sat/b fee. I just accelerated it and it goes confirmed about 3 hours, so i think your transaction will be confirmed too if you accelerate your transaction. Or you must wait about some hours or mabe some days

How do you accelerate transactions? What doesn't that mean? Adding additional miner fee after it's  been sent?

How do you accelerate transactions?
You can found a lot free service that offer accelerate transaction in service section. But you can try this one https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ , just simple copy and paste your txid and put it on there.

What doesn't that mean? Adding additional miner fee after it's  been sent?
Umm... Its looks like your transaction will be prioritise by miner. Something like that.

It's a fancy name that implies that your transaction be confirmed quicker. It doesn't actually do anything to the transaction itself or the network itself.

These acceleration service providers, such as the one cissrawk used to submit your tx are actual miners. When they accept your tx, they just promise to include it into the next block they find. If they find a block and the network accepts it, it's added to the blockchain and your tx, which was included, is confirmed.

So, your tx confirmation has an improved chance of getting confirmed: either still being picked up by other miners or when the accelerating miner finds a block.

The other individuals in this forum also providing the service either are miners themselves or are able to ask miners to include txs.

To be honest, i accelerate it. So the transaction confirmed when some miner mine got a new block. If you want to use wallet that you can control the fees, use bitcoin core / electrum. If web wallet, you can use blockchain.info (even i dont recomend you use web wallet, but choice in yours)

Core wallet and electrum are ones of those wallet which you can actually able to edit the fees. seeing on the transaction above it is indeed being confirmed already which he set up 4 sat/byte is actually low.Anytime you do make transactions you should always check this in order to set the fees: https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ . Since this transaction have been confirmed already then its much better to lock this thread.
