Finished worked early, put all errands on the side and came back home directly only to see magical scoreboard 5/3. Damn guys, its nightmare Cheesy now it all depends on Indian middle order and what an excellent opportunity for Dinesh Kartik and Rishab pant. They both can become a hero or zero from here. Let's see what happens.

No more comments .... Zip

The rain came at a bad time for New Zealand as they just started to get going after a slow start to the match, it will be interesting to see what happens on Wednesday as New Zealand need at least another 50+ runs to set a decent sized target for India to chase. If the rain sticks around it could make things very interesting.

Not really, Kiwis were lucky yesterday because momentum was with the Indian team, Indian bowlers were bowling exceptionally except Chahal's one over where he gave away around 18 runs. we should not forget that Rain came after 46 over and Bhuvi and Bumarah had their 2-2 overs left. i highly doubt that kiwis could slog against them and get 50+ runs in just 24 balls.

And who the fuck you are to decide that? Jesus Christ? There's a difference between predicting and illogical conclusion.

It appears to me that you don't remember how the Indian team performed against English team last year and of course who can forget playoff match. Having said that if India and England face each other in finals then my money on the Indian team.

This is why I said before the start of the tournament that teams from South Asia  should arrive in England at least two weeks prior to the start, and get themselves acclimatized to the conditions. Bangladesh was the only Asian team which did that, and the impact was evident from the first round of matches. That said, both India and Pakistan fought well after the initial setbacks.

Small correction, Don't know you remember or not but the Pakistani team played 5 ODI and 1 T20 against the English team in England, just before the World cup. They were literally camping there.

This will be bad:

It would be a disaster for cricket fans if it happens, even we miss single over due to rain and the last thing I want to see DLS in last 3 fixtures.

I'm interested to see if Steve Smith can get some runs as he has been poor so far in this tournament so maybe that will all change in the semi-final and he goes on to make a century and help Australia to victory. Warner has been in top form and is the best Australian batsman of the tournament so far, he hasn't missed a trick since coming back into the team. He looks set to have a good Ashes series coming up soon.

I think, its because management was playing ping-pong with his number. Sometimes at 4, and a couple of times at number 3. I know he's not performing according to his reputation, but 3rd spot belongs to him. Usman Khwaja exclusion could turn into a blessing in disguise.

Still, have some doubt on Stonis's injury. And I am sure Alex Carey is very much capable of batting at number 5. Good news is wade can join the squad, who is in excellent form right now, not sure about Junior Marsh.

Anyone need kidney?  Roll Eyes

"There are no excuses to be a nocoiner.

The biggest-ticket organ you can legally sell in the U.S. is your heart: They're going for a cool $1 million. Livers come in second, worth about $557,000 and kidneys fetch about $262,000 each.

That's like 200 BTC right there.

We're on the edge of printing organs like toilet paper, so selling a kidney might not be the dumbest idea for younger folks.

@eddie13  please read Bold part.

I want Sir Jadeja to play in the semifinal match against New Zealand. Mediocre players like Kedar Jadhav and Vijay Shankar were given multiple opportunities so far in the tournament, but the best Indian all rounder was left out of the team in 8 out of the 9 matches. When he was given a chance at last, he made the maximum use out of it and got the crucial wicket of Kusal Mendis.

Bhai I want Jadeja in the team as well. But don't forget what happened in Champions trophy Tongue  Kedar and Vijay are not mediocre players. Kohli didn't use Kedar well, if he's not bowling 3-4 overs then he's useless because he comes to bat at lower middle order, nothing much to do there. And Vijay Shankar didn't click, It Happens with the players all the time.

interesting, Timon aka JSRAW had 9 margin win  Shocked

Still i messed up Tongue. was away for one week so i missed at least 5-6 matches, Chances are you are going to top the table. @royse : hard chance for him because he's going to lose points by supporting only OZ in semis lol Cheesy

Just kidding Royse i know you want to see Aussie in Final, your bet is on Smiley

I'm supporting India to win easily against New Zealand tomorrow but knowing that India lost to them during the first round got me thinking otherwise.

Keep your finger crossed only for 2 games Cheesy

Its personal preference if one wants to believe on conspiracy theory or not, I am not a big fan of this kind of approaches, its good for discussion but in the end, everything should be judge on Merits only. Having said that if anyone wants to believe he's a victim of some conspiracy theory and Whole world is planning against them then it's fine as well, it's their choice, who are we to judge them?

And India won the match, I guess the same will happen again.

Its new game, so anything could happen on Tuesday, but India have upper hand in this fixture, no doubt about it.
7338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: July 08, 2019, 02:24:17 AM
It'd have been a big success for ICC!

But, ICC don't fancy big money anymore, so they fixed that particular match and India lost to English team intentionally, just to keep Pakistan out.Tongue .............sarcasm and not rubbing it

I remember a couple of posters were saying with conviction that it's Aus vs Eng final in the end. guess it was @vella?   Facepalm!

Regarding Semis, it's no cakewalk for any team, I am hoping for a competitive clash between all of them. English and Kiwis have a habit of choking in big tournaments, let's see if they manage to cross the line this time. kiwis wining the world cup is upset IMHO.

My fav teams are still same for the World Cup winner.

Hey Guys,

My favorite team for World cup is England because this team looks very balanced to me. they bat deep, got a couple of good allrounders and playing in their backyard. those days are gone when the host team used to lose in every world cup.

Other than the Eng team, India is doing pretty good if they manage to get their combination right for playing X1 they no one can stop this team.
I would not be very surprised if India and England playing finals against each other.

Australia is the underdog in this World cup or to some extent Afganistan too. this team can surprise any team in their day, they showed the determination in Asia cup.

Newzealand and Proteas are good teams too but they don't give much confidence as a team.

Personally, I would like to see Ind vs Pak in the world cup final. if it happens then everyone can imagine the excitement in the cricketing World and for sure lockdown in both countries during the match.

PS : Australia was underdog because they were in very rough patch during that time.
