7341  Economy / Speculation / Re: Former CEO of Paypal on CNCB: "Bitcoin is going to 0" on: August 20, 2018, 06:27:16 AM
Great news! Bill Harris saying that stuff again means Bitcoin will go to 50k soon.  Wink
I do not know why I remembered a bitcointalk user called kwuckduck when I read this  Tongue
It is shameful for a CEO to speculate such idiotic stats.
7342  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-08-15]U.S. investor sues AT&T for $224 million over loss of cryptocurrency on: August 17, 2018, 06:40:48 AM
Too bad for AT&T, apparently they will have to pay since it is clearly its fault but I doubt the punitive damage will be accepted as it is by the court.
7343  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the BTC market warming up? on: August 17, 2018, 06:26:49 AM
Bitcoin is in accumulation phase and it will explode if etf gets approved. So yeah, you can say that BTC market is warming up.
Traders will soon buy more and more Bitcoin since the price they bought at is not much profitable now after few days hovering around $6,400 so I assume a new bull run will start soon
7344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is ETH will hit 400$ on: August 16, 2018, 06:45:36 AM
I think that Ethereum will not fall below 250 dollars, there is too strong support at this level. Now is a great time to invest in ETH.
That was said before in the 400 dollars level then the 300 level and no one of the above proved that the ethereum market will recover soon. Loosing more than 80% of its highest level will make the investors unsure and prefer to move its funds to bitcoin or trying new promising projects.
Ethereum should send positive news to convince people to keep buying and investing.

7346  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-08-14] Turkish Bitcoin Volume Soars as Traders Flee the Lira on: August 16, 2018, 06:35:22 AM
Bitcoin remains the safest place to hold your money in countries with economics difficulties especially if sanctions are taking place like Turkey now. Although, this economic crisis may just be temporary but it incites people about the benefits of following cryptocurrency revolution  Wink
7347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto market is all time low on: August 14, 2018, 06:36:21 AM
Maybe this bad news is also one of the reasons for the crypto price to fall again. https://www.ccn.com/saudi-arabia-bitcoin-trading-is-illegal-in-the-kingdom/
No, il do not think so. This country is not holding basically any major activity related to cryptocurrencies so I doubt that it will impact the prices.
Massive sell for small amount of money is ridiculous, just hold your coin, the market will rise again.
7348  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is bitcoin regaining dominance? on: August 14, 2018, 06:30:57 AM
Most altcoins are created for a short period for a fast gain. Look at the coinmarketcap site, you will not recognise half of the coins there = fast turn-over. However, a little bit solid altcoins like ethereum and bcash dropped hugely so I think people are escaping to the safest alternative which is bitcoin.
7349  Economy / Speculation / Re: DO YOU STILL BELIEVE IN RISING UP OF BITCOIN? on: August 11, 2018, 06:48:52 AM
I think, most of the members in this forum, for those who hold bitcoin, I think they still strongly believe in the increase in bitcoin prices. well, maybe for now, the price of bitcoin is falling, and a lot of people are panicking, and frustrating.
I believe most of the bitcointalk users are long term holders so they don't really care about the drop of the bitcoin price in the short term and as you said they expect a rise each time a drop happens.
By the way why the OP is writing caps lock on!
7350  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-08-10] Huge Demand for ‘P2P’ Crypto Trading Seen in India After RBI Ban on: August 11, 2018, 06:37:27 AM
Creative way to bypass the crypto ban imposed by the Indian central bank.
Exchanges hold cryptocurrencies and allow you to trade it for USDT for example and it is up to users to buy and sell from each other and for the exchange to act as an escrow.
7351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: every country has crypto currency on: August 10, 2018, 06:38:25 AM
One of the reasons that make me join the cryptocurrency wave is having a coin that I can spend all over the world without moving from my chair and without using stupid services like PayPal. Having a local crypto that can be traded easily to bitcoin or to an altcoin should be essential or else we will miss the spirit of cryptocurrencies.
Apart from petro, i think there is not any crypto backed up by any government.
7352  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin after 5 Halving - 10 years from now - What will be its price? on: August 09, 2018, 06:51:10 AM
The history shows that speculation and FOMO had much more effect on the price than the halvings.
An ETF may get approved within one year and then we can discuss of a recovery. However, no one can tell what will be the price tomorrow, so why try to speculate so far away?
Spread hope  Cheesy
Of course with the halving, we have increased difficulties and less rewards for miners so there will be a rise in the mining fees and finally a rise in the bitcoin price.
So the key message is HODL.
7353  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-08-08] First U.S. Congress Member Reveals Owning Bitcoin, Ethereum on: August 09, 2018, 06:36:43 AM
From accepting cryptocurrency donations to owning it, American politicians are evolving since finally cryptocurrencies are money. In the Bob case, his son may influenced him in a way or another since he is involved in coinbase.
7354  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happened to this 'easy 10k'? on: August 08, 2018, 06:32:21 AM
Just wondering guys, you were all so confident we were in a strong bull market and would break 10k easily, looks like the opposite is becoming a reality and we're heading straight back to new lows.
You forgot that 1 Bitcoin is always equal to 1 Bitcoin.
BTC vs USD is fluctuating and in short term no one can predict anything, big players always try to profit, who will not sell with $1,000 profit for 1 BTC?
7355  Economy / Speculation / Re: ARE WE IN THE BULLS FINALLY on: August 07, 2018, 06:40:44 AM

Probably won't be for another couple of years.
this is simply bullshit.

I very clearly said "probably". I can't be sure, and you can't either.
Wait for a comeback at the end of this year "probably".  Looking at the market those years you will notice that the price always increases in December even if there is not a good news or a major event  Smiley
7356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do the bitcoin dump is affecting the price of altcoins on: August 06, 2018, 06:39:45 AM
If Bitcoin will dump more down in future than what will to other Altcoins it will also dump or bull high?
This is what we notice most of the time. When Bitcoin dump, other altcoins follow it. I think people are just following bitcoin trend so they buy when it rises and sell when it is down. The only exception is USDT which is almost stable comparing to USD of course  Smiley
7357  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-08-05] The truth about Starbucks bitcoin payments on: August 06, 2018, 06:33:52 AM
In the near future most of the payments process using Bitcoin will be like this. Companies will use an exchange service like BitPay or other so the customers pay with bitcoin and they receive fiat. I do not consider it as bad, it is rather a first step in the long road to accept Bitcoin directly in final.
7358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: COINBASE now accepting BRITISH POUNDS for trading! on: August 05, 2018, 10:04:12 PM
The San Francisco-based cryptocurrency giant Coinbase has announced that the customers in the UK can buy now cryptocurrency using British Pound. According to Zeeshan Feroz, the CEO of Coinbase UK said that "UK banks have been conservative in terms of working with crypto businesses and we’re proud to be one of the first companies to get access to domestic banking"
It is a good step for people from UK to trade with their local currency. Hope to see more fiat listed in the future  Wink

7360  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-08-04] Starbucks To Accept BTC Payment For Your All Time Favorite Coffees on: August 04, 2018, 06:23:08 AM
And it looks like the news is feeding the prices bullish run.
It has already gained over $285 from yesterdays price nearing the relaxing point of $7500 to the bitcoin investor. Wink
I don't know what is the reasons of this rise but I do not think it is related to starbucks.
It is indeed a good news and I want to see how many people will use this service to buy their coffee with bitcoin  Wink
