I believe this is tantamount to trust buying. I had loanees who requested me to give positive trust, and not only I refused their request I warned them of the possibility as being marked as trust buyers.

So at the end is it forbidden ?
As Badbear said it's not forbidden but most people think trying to buy/encourage/ask for trust is very frowned upon, but you can take each incident on a case by case basis, but what people leave feedback for is largely up to the individual user and this type of behavior is for the community to police. I don't think this is the worst case of trust abuse so I think taking this thread as a warning (or at the most a neutral trust) would suffice and hopefully conteaza has learned where he went wrong.

I think the vast majority of people taking (and sometimes those giving) the loans do so to build up feedback.
Jeez tantamount to trust buying? I assume you're not known with how hard BB are made.

It does not matter if it was hard or easy. You asked for trust in exchange for something. That is equivalent to trust buying.
redsn0w should be commended for bringing it to light instead of agreeing to it.
The problem he has asked me a positive feed. but I'm not in the defaultTrust list so at the end my "feedback" doesn't count anything and especially "it is not seen".
Just because someone is not on DefaultTrust doesn't make their feedback discountable and it is still seen under 'untrusted' which doesn't mean 'worthless'. A person can always get put on the default trust at a later date as well which will instantaneously make their feedback 'green'. Feedback is always worth something and can help you make up your mind about a user. If people can see you have done many trades this could also help people in deciding whether to put you on the default trust list themselves.
