7361  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase issue on: October 05, 2017, 06:55:24 PM
People here who are giving Complains about coinbase has been with coinbase for over 2-3 years now, I have only used coinbase a year now, but have not received any difficulty with them. I guess this depends on the country, cause I have a same country guy who has been using coinbase before I knew about bitcoin and has no worries with them.
This kind of situation would really be on random some people do experience problems with coinbase and some is already using their service for how many years and still haven't experienced any issues.Related on the situation posted on op.Why hes being blocked on using their service without any warnings? that's an unprofessional way on handling users.
7362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why do alt's use Slack ? on: October 05, 2017, 05:55:16 PM
Slack is like the wild west with scams and phishing attemps

If ETH forked each time I got a push notification stating as much there would be 1000 different chains

There are imposters everywhere

Why do alt's and ICO's continue to use it ?

I am uninstalling the app
Back on previous month there are lots of users who have been hacked because they are able to get victimized by phishing links which mainly they target out mew users. For now I do see some ICO do tend to make use slack but already on less numbers compared in the pas. They are using up telegram as of this date which is good for both developer and on its investors the same time.
7363  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Yobit Exchange and the Case of Inactive Wallet Address on: October 05, 2017, 03:18:30 PM
I do not understand why, despite the countless complaints and scam accusations here, so many are still confident in trading on this exchange. It's as if they read the scam stories but then are all "neuralyzed" by the same neuralyzer seen on the Men on Black movie.

You will need a ton of patience if you want to wait for Yobit to return stuck funds. That's if they even decide to return it, the chances of which are slim or even nil.

Few peoples don't like to do some search just because of this they have troubles and they start to crying about this issue which was already mentions by many this same case happen here with Yobit we have many complaints and scam accusations cases against this exchange but still peoples using this and then crying its not good must use mind and do some work before investing in scam
I do know some of my friends who are still using yobit exchange I don't know what are the things they do like this site. There are lots of issues but yet they can sustain to live with it which if those situation would be putted into my case then 1st day of using their service would already be long because for sure I would jump on other exchange which would serve me better.
7364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Forkin' Mess 101] What will be the real Bitcoin (BTC) at the end of 2017? on: October 04, 2017, 07:29:21 PM
Sorry, I have not had time to keep up on the current state of the Forkland events. The original intent of this post is to know the status, not to extend/invite debate, thanks.

What will be the real Bitcoin (BTC) at the end of 2017? Has that been already determined or will it be fought out on exchanges and mining pools?

Are the people backing Seg2x (still) attempting to have exchanges (and the world) call that one Bitcoin/BTC?

I think that will be new fork after segwit2x.
We will have BTC+BCC + new fork.

Forking is not good.. but price will be rise again and may be rich $8000-8500.
It's my opinion only.

I Dont think price will rise that high that fast.
Price May Drop slightly before the fork, but i think it will recover pretty fast.

Back to topic:
Bitcoin will still be the "real" Bitcoin.
More interesting is the value of btc compared to the new fork. But this will probably be the Same situation as with BCC

Having 3 kind of coins is really pain my eyes but still my loyalty would only go to the original one no matter how many forks would possibly happen on bitcoin. The original would still be the same. Regarding on prices I do have doubts that it would repeat again just like what happened on august 1.
7365  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Rankings for the bounty campaigns managers on: October 04, 2017, 06:35:13 PM
I always see new topics in the 'services' section about newbies looking for managers to manage their bounty campaign. It would have been so much better if there was a sticky topic containing the list of all active campaign managers with complete and detailed information about their service. This way we can also prevent different users from making the same new topics like "Need Managers for bounty campaign!", "Need Sig Camp Manager and designers", "Bounty campaign manager needed!", etc..
Not a bad idea on having this kind of sticky but it would be somehow hassle for mods to update the list considering that anyone could be a manager either on bitcoin or altcoin bounty campaigns. Having a list would be good but ranking them would depend on the community. People do have their own bet so ranking it up would be some pointless.
7366  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: wex.nz scam or it's support that suck ? on: October 04, 2017, 05:51:54 PM
Why do you even bother with questionable services with semi-legit reputation? When your money is at stake I would rather use some more reputable exchange.
I don't mind sharing personal data and sleep well at night, rather than trying to be anonymous and get scammed by some equally anonymous people.
Wex.nz  is not a scam yet but it is not exactly the best exchange IMO, it could be gone any moment.
There are really people who do really love to use unknown or not yet famous exchangers and as being said above this is the old btc-e?-correct me if I'm wrong. If it does then their support do really suck since from the beginning.
As being suggested better to send them tickets on Russian and this method might work out.
7367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if China ban was temporal on: October 03, 2017, 06:16:00 PM
Not really news, it's pretty much what everyone has been thinking so far. They only want to be sure to stay in control and thus they wanted to regulate it first.
This is the thing on which most people do really think off.Even myself do believe that those banning incidents or news are just really temporary they cant really impose a total ban since they know they can able to benefit from it and the main thing they do really want from here is they would able to control such thing. They do love to regulate anything as they like.lol
7368  Economy / Securities / Re: ★ BTC Renew ★ - Official Launch October 2017 on: October 03, 2017, 04:33:56 PM
Are you really so stupid to believe that someone will put any satoshi to an "Investment" site, made by WordPress simple themes?!
Your project is nothing more than a HYIP and a crap one. You have "low" interest plans for fishy reasons,to make it more reasonable. That's all.
Enjoy your paint scammer,cheers!

P.s I love this true pro explanation in your FAQ,for what you do and get this "profit" *gough*-my arse-*gough*... Cheesy

Who are we?

BTC Renew is a Bitcoin investing program that invests our clients BTC for them in order to payback a return on that investment.

https://imgur.com/a/lsdfj
Wordpress simple themes indeed. haha! This is really a funny thing regarding on their FAQ on who they are. Investing investors money to give them returns? How if those funds failed what you can guarantee to repay? This is just a simple obvious scam attempt 5-8% return is unbelievable and no business would able to give that too good to be true returns in a short span of time but only on those scam hyip/Ponzi sites.

Hi Carlfebz2,

Thank you for your comment. If you continued to read our FAQ, you would see that we have separate funds in case of poor weeks. This fund will give us the opportunity to support payouts until our investments come up again Smiley
Be aware that we aren't promising 5-8% weekly. It is possible to earn up to that much per week - it is our main priority to reach that percentage but we may not always do so.

Thank you for your feedback.
Are you building charity on here? Its quiet odd for a company that they would get funds from their own pockets just to payout their investors if the week wont give them any good returns? Lets assume if a whole month the investment wont give any good results from your so-called investments, how would you handle this? You would still be willing to patch up money to pay to your investors?

Hi Carlfebz2,

Thank you for the return comment.

We aren’t professional scammers that know how to produce and market an HYIP in order to bring in a few hundred people to start paying - not saying we’re an HYIP Wink - We truly are paying for everything out of our own pockets to run this program. We saw what HYIPs were doing and we wanted to make a difference. I’m truly passionate about this and have been spearheading most of this project just myself. Based on our projections, we are able to payout to clients for over a month from our own funds. Now, we definitely don’t expect to be under in our investments for that amount of time, but anything is possible. Now, with our projections, we don’t expect to have 100 clients invest the maximum of 0.25 BTC - so we will be able to pay out just fine Smiley

Thanks again,

BTC Renew
I almost forget this thread to reply on.Okay lets assume that you can pay investors on your own pocket. Please tell me how you do assure your investors? As I said earlier nothing on this world do give 8% returns on their investment without doing something.Even banks wont able to give such thing.Just forgot to ask whats the source of investment to pay up people? Just lazy to read up on the site.
7369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX1060 vs GTX1070 on: October 03, 2017, 02:52:04 PM
yea, go amd if your planning to mine just ETH but in my opinion 1070s a good buy for more versatile/flexible gpu

Sorry not aware that AMD is better for ETH. but for future use 1070 is better than 1060? for AMD part which is better to purchase?

I prefer 1070 for its flexibility. But if you focus on ETH, P106-100 is a good choice for better ROI.
I'm using P106-100 for mining ETH, each card costs about 240$ here, and it could draw 25.5 Mh/s, while 1070 may cost about 470$ and hash 30.5 Mh/s.
If you do really want to save up I would really choose  P106-100 because its cheaper and the price difference is too big when you tend to buy 1070 on just mining ETH. This is only on case to case basis but if you do have plans on mining other alts then I would go for 1070 because it is better on 1060 performance but as expected roi would be longer considering on the cost.
7370  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the world really needs virtual currencies on: October 02, 2017, 09:46:11 PM
World has changed significantly in the last 20 years. Primarily moving whatever could be moved to the internet. Knowledge, shopping, communication, dating, etc, etc. So it makes sense that also the currency moves on the internet. One could argue that debit/credit cards are already this, but they're coming from the classical banking system.
As in the quote the growth that has happened with the help of the Internet is very big. This has made the systematic functioning of each and every sector in a much better way. If Internet connectivity gets disconnected worldwide everything will collapse big. Now our bitcoin makes it more efficient and easy to use that of the traditional banking system.

Hmm, I am not saying that, because I do not really know why the world really needs virtual currencies. But, I think virtualcurrency is important. In a simple way, it is good and give us privacy and freedom. No more taxes, no more bank, only us. The most important thing and the most simple way I think about virtualcurrencies, is that they can give us a financial freedom. Smiley That is all I am going to say.
Bitcoin not is virtualcurrency, it is cryptocurrency and you have a wrong knowledge about cryptocurrency and virtualcurrency. If Bitcoin is virtualcurrency, it also controlled by someone as PayPal, Perfectmoney, Advcash, Neteller ... That is the difference between them.
Very well said. Cryptocurrency and Virtual currency is different in the sense that one of them cant really be controlled which is actually we can see on crpytos. If its backed by the government then it cant be considered as a decentralized thing which it would definitely belong into those traditional electronic money which is existing as of these recent years.
7371  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are some disadvantages of BTC? on: October 02, 2017, 07:46:10 PM
We all know the advantages of BTC, but what are some of the disadvantages??
Going back in the past I do love bitcoin because of its fast and less transaction but now those things have changed to slow and higher fees which I can already say that this is some of the disadvantage of bitcoin this is why I do make use on some alts when it regards to fast confirmation with less fees transactions. On the other hand bitcoin do have disadvantages on its anonymity feature which can really possibly being used to commit crime.
7372  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Did Bitmain just declare war on BTC? on: October 02, 2017, 05:48:30 PM
Why would Bitmain declare war on BTC? That would be illogical because their biggest market for their hardware would still be BTC. Jihan Wu is also a businessman, so whatever that move is, its probably a business decision and not a declaration of war.

I guess it's mostly a business decision in that it is in the interest of Bitmain that BCH regains some traction. So not necessarily a declaration of war against BTC, but definitely a statement of support for BCH, possibly due to having a major stake in BCH...

Another thought, maybe he loves BCC very much. Cheesy

...or because of that. Yeah, I'll go with that explanation. I guess he likes big blocks and he can not lie?
Using the word "War" isn't appropriate on this one.Why cant just use the word they do switch their interests into BCH.Just simply as that and Bitmain would switch on where they can make more money. Cool
7373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction with a low fee on: October 01, 2017, 04:23:25 PM
487792 ( 2017-10-01 10:45:27 + 852 minutes )
The transaction is confirmed

So, has someone accelerated it or time done it instead?
No one had accelerated it on which miners did really recognize that transfer inspite on having low fee.Just like what I did on other day which I did accidentally put up low fee 5 sat/byte which I just let it aside and doesn't really rush up and I checked it theres no confirmation have been counted for how many hours (4+ hours) until the time that miners did recognize it.As far as a I remember it was completed for 7 hours.
7374  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Will Reach New All Time Highs Just Before The Segwit2x Fork on: October 01, 2017, 03:34:50 PM
Quote
A battle has been brewing among Bitcoin ecosystem participants for quite some time now. If taken at face value, then the battle is all about how Bitcoin should scale (bigger blocks, Segwit, Lightning Network, or Huh). However, as time goes by, and more pieces of the puzzle fall into place, it is becoming more and more apparent that the battle is actually a front for at least two hidden agendas. That is a complicated topic, one which I will save for another occasion. I promise to post my opinion on such soon. For now I simply wish to point out the main reason why Bitcoin will reach new all time highs in the near future.

More here: https://www.decentralized.tech/blogs/speculation-bitcoin-will-reach-new-all-time-highs-just-before-the-segwit2x-fork
I do already view this thing would really happen on this upcoming segwit2x again and again on which the price did rose into new ATH which we didn't really expect after that event. All of bitcoin users or on cryptoworld do really shocked on that thing happened and now here we go again on another segwit and the non-stop drama on this ecosystem. I do already expect that we would able to reach new ATH soon but before that we would suffer dip prices too for sure.
7375  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: FREE MINING SITE (WITHDREW WITHOUT ANY INVESTMENT) on: October 01, 2017, 12:27:46 PM

i brought mypayment todayy  Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley

And i wonder why this Ponzi scheme Thread of yours, is here.
This is not a service discussion topic. Fake/scam sites don't considered as a "service", neither their promotion as you are trying to do here.

So move it here or lock it.
The second choise seems wiser.. Cool
2nd choice would really be the best move since no one would really fall for this shit this is just a plain ponzi scam cloud mining site and who the hell would make an investment site which its users doesnt need to put money but they can able to withdraw?  You are not building charity on here folks.
7376  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GPU vs ASICs ? (India) on: October 01, 2017, 11:20:34 AM
I was hoping to order ASICs miners but in every official site it is either out of stock or does not ship to my country (India).
And sites like ebay and amazon sell them for insane prices like around 3x or 4x their original price.
I see a lot of youtube videos using multiple GPUs for mining( like 6 or 8 )...So i was wondering if these people use GPU setup just because they cannot get their hands on an ASIC miner or do they see any benefits from GPUs?
If anyone has any links to legit websites that sell ASIC miners...Ill be pleased to visit them.
On the other hand if i should build a GPU mining setup, can someone experienced help me setup the rig?
And also what are the advantages of having a GPU mining setup over an ASIC miner?
And besides, electricity cost is cheap here..so there is no worries about it.
ASIC= Bitcoin
GPU= Altcoins

Its peoples preference on what he would like to mine but seeing on your situation I assume that you do plan to buy asic on Bitmain.Am I right? They are always out of stocks due to high demand which we don't really have the patience to wait for longer months until their stocks would come out. There would be a lot of queue.GPU mining is also good as long you would see its profitable there are lots of guided on how to set it up even on ASICs.
7377  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: List of local Asic seller on: September 29, 2017, 09:17:03 PM
Thank you. Already contacted them and look for updates.
But I was looking for a local reseller list.
I know, that I can trust Antminer and Bitminer and the offical continental distributions.
My favorit buying method is shop in a store.
Costs a little more, but avoids waiting times for shipping, customs and maybe other additional unknown costs.
http://www.dk-tec.at/ Fixed date when it will arrive, all costs included and get the hardware direct eye to eye and have local support.

Just been suggested above I would always go for the legit and known suppliers of ASIC which is bitmain knowing that there are really lots of fake or scams on this online world who are pretending to sell but they actually not. Since you are able to shop with the local store you are saying here then try it but don't blame if anything goes wrong. As long they are offering equally or somehow do have small difference on the actual price on the miners then it might be legit.
7378  Economy / Economics / Re: Is an economy without physical money safe for the poorest? on: September 29, 2017, 08:48:58 PM
What are the consequences of such an economy for the poorest of the population? Do you think that a few people can influence the digital wealth of people and wouldn't hackers be the best people to have as friends?
To envision a world just transacting only with digital currency it takes a really long time,we will have a balance between fiat and digital currency ,you cannot eradicate poverty from the world and so you cannot force anyone to shift anyone and start using digital currency without eradicating the problems the world is facing and for the other part of your note of befriending hackers . Roll Eyes
It would really takes time or wont happen at all thinking of that all would be digitalize considering that not all people do have the resources or tools to engage with and adoption will took too long because some even didn't know how to use internet, gadgets etc. and this is why local fiat would really remain no matter what. Technology is fast upgrading but leaving behind our local paper fiat would not really be easy.
7379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why are there no bounty signature campaigns for newbies? on: September 29, 2017, 08:24:00 PM
these rules can make you excited about making quality posts, not spamming, keep the spirit guys, you can do it, wait until your rank minimum jr.member, so you can participate in siganture campaign
They should really have patience knowing that they become Jr. member on a month and half.Bounty programs do really accept Jr. not newbies since its easy to create new account and joining a campaign which is really prone to abuse. This is why they don't really allow newbie to join and as being said above they do lack knowledge on things into this forum which isn't really suited to wear any companies signature.

The thing said above is definitely the reality on them which they do react on someones issue if it already calls attention into the public.
