Lottery is one of those games where you are likely never to experience a win, of course the jackpot can be huge but that is because of the super small odds.
The odds to win in gambling is close to zero but the fact that the jackpot is very huge attracts most of the gamblers to continue to gamble in lottery. I don't gamble in lottery to be honest not because of financial problem but I know that I cannot win in lottery. That is how I think in lottery ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) .

So KD and Kyrie are recruiting the still unsigned Melo to join them in Brooklyn. What do you guys think? A one year contract sounds like a good deal to me since KD won't be able to play for a long time. I hope Melo's manager don't act like a tough guy if ever the Nets management contacts him.
If Melo can adjust and he can remove his ego and accept his role as a bench then maybe a one year deal will be a worthy deal for him and a chance for him to redeem himself. I watched him carrying the Knicks way back 2014 I think and carried it to playoffs. The all-star Melo type is gone already but he can be helpful in the Nets with KD out for the whole season.

Naging silent sila in the past few weeks.

All of the choices helped to increase the usage of Bitcoin globally.
At this moment, the ratio of the users of cryptocurrency in the world to the total number of people worldwide is very low but I believe that this will increase in the succeeding years. If many people will become rich in the future because of crypto, they can share it to other people to spread awareness. If many people will be financially free with the help of crypto then they can share it worldwide. The fact that crypto is very volatile makes the investors to not invest into this.

Nice timing to post your thread. I was just reading in Meta board and someone is saying that Theymos must be Satoshi. Maybe you should have a debate or discussion with with that guy? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I have thought this for a while too that there is a slight chance that theymos = satoshi ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) . Anyway, whether this is true or not I don't care to be honest. I don't think that anybody or many will believe into this after numerous claims of people that they are Satoshi. I don't care anymore if this is true or not but they hype of the true identity of Satoshi is high ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) .

My plan, simply put is: - Invest a % of my Income into BTC (£100,000 / $120,000) - I have almost completed this step
- Wait for that investment to grow by 5-10x
- Pull out my profit and invest into residential property
- Live off the rental income (passive income will be £100,000 / $120,000 p/a)
Having a long term plan if you are engaged into crypto is a very good idea and I have also a plan too. Since I'm engaged in a signature campaign whose paying me Bitcoin, I hold some while I convert some to invest into different investment like stocks and some of it are for the future business. I want to have a passive income with my early age so I need to learn more and at the same time earn more. Anyway, you're plan is good. Having a residential property and use it for rental purposes will give you passive income. Good luck with your future plans.

1. Buy and Hold buying cryptocurrency in small or large quantities and holding it for several months is a form of financial freedom from cryptocurrency. Unlike a bank account, creating a new cryptocurrency wallet is very easy for anyone who has access to a smartphone or computer connected to the Internet, you can install and access the wallet in just a few minutes. 2. Daily trading Cryptocurrency is traded on an exchange, whose function is similar to that found in global equity markets. If you have expertise for technical or fundamental analysis and believe that your skills are suitable for the cryptocurrency market, trading can be very profitable. However, daily trading can be a risky endeavor, given that some tokens can experience short periods of high volatility at any time. 3. Mining Mining refers to the process of using computing power to verify transactions and create new cryptocurrency units. While some cryptocurrency like Bitcoin cannot be mined using consumer level hardware, it is different from others like Ethereum and Zcash. Although mining can be very profitable, a large amount of investment is indeed needed at the beginning in the form of hardware. But if you pay attention, mining can be profitable and can generate income passively
It can make you financially free but the 3 things you shared can't guarantee you to be financially free. How can you say that you are financially free?? For me, when my expenses is lesser in my income and I'm investing a percentage of my money to different investments. The 3 things you shared can give you financial freedom but there is no guarantee in cryptocurrency. Trading is the most risky in those 3 especially if you are not a professional.

It has been used as an alternative payment option in some of the huge stores and companies already and more will do this too. Aside from the stores and companies that has been accepting this, criminals and some bad people are using cryptocurrency too ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) . Well, both of them can increase the global adoption of crypto. Whether you use it in good or bad, its ok as long as more and more will use it in the succeeding years.

I'm sorry to hear that. Gambling addiction is a horrible thing to deal with, and takes a tremendous amount of will power to break free from. You've lost a lot of money, but you still have the most important and valuable thing.... Your life and health. Try to find something to replace gambling with. It could be a hobby or a Church group. Stay strong and keep moving forward in your life. Your past doesn't equal your future.
I agree that is why I don't spend too much time in gambling. I don't want to get addicted into it and at the same time, I don't want to spend too much money on it. If you got addicted into gambling, it will be hard for you to remove it and it can affect your life too. Life with your family and your own lifestyle. Its better if you spend your time to do some recreational activities or just travel or spend time with your family.

I believed that XRP is a good coin to hold for the long run but I have watched some Youtube videos regarding XRP and after watching them, I realized that it is not a good coin to hold. Their main target is the banks which is the main enemy of crypto (looks like a movie ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) ). Ripple is good for mid term only for me but if you will buy some altcoins, I think you should not invest it on Ripple. XRP has been launched a long time ago but until now, their main purpose isn't fulfilled yet. To be used by banks although they believe that banks will use XRP on the future.

I don't think it is only Ethereum but most of the altcoins. People rather choose to buy Bitcoin and hold it since its dominance is getting higher and they don't believe that an alt season is coming in the next months.
As an investor, its better to see this as an opportunity to buy since its price is going down. In next year, Ethereum 2.0 will be launched and maybe the price of ETH will go higher when this will be implemented.

I think the trustworthiness of Bitcoin let it stay from the top. We know that it is the first cryptocurrency that has been created and many believe that buying and holding Bitcoin will give them huge profits in the long run. In terms of technology, no doubt that some altcoins are better compare to Bitcoin but the fact that it is the first crypto to be created let it stay on the top.

One is Pride. Being Satoshi will boost their pride because they created a digital currency that can change the world of currency. I think there are some more benefits but there are more disadvantages than benefits and one of them is your life itself. If you claimed that you are Satoshi and many believed on it, there is a possibility that criminals will hunt you and get your Bitcoins that you hold.

I did not copy other people's posts.
My apologies if my answer might sound so generic, but i believe firmly that there is no better way to address your question but to be relatively honest.
My apologies if my answer might sound so generic, but i believe firmly that there is no better way to address your question but to be relatively honest. Now completing bounty tasks takes much less time.
I answered a person a question and made a mistake in quoting. Look at the meaning of the topic and my response to the post of man. Am I really stupid enough to post copied text almost immediately? I think there is a "Preview" button. You can use it first before posting it ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) . Anyway a ban because of plagiarism is like "end of your world".

It depends.
If the one who stole the funds is a thief then don't expect that it will be returned. I didn't see any incident that the thief gave back what he stole. Yes they are some who returned the funds they get but with the help of some authorities but to return them intentionally, I don't think they will do it unless they are stupid thieves.

I have read your post and in the first paragraph, I'm thinking that we are the same. We are both introvert persons but while going to the next lines... I don't want to say anything but another way of advertising your own investment to those newbies. You can advertise anyway but it makes you a stupid investor ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) . Investing into a coin which is not popular is like a gamble.
