7382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EXCHANGE HACKS.WILL IT EVER END? on: June 24, 2018, 07:16:42 PM
No, it will not end soon, like bank robbery, you can lower it as much as possible but you will find always some people trying to figure a way to steal from it.
Exchanges need to enhance its security level and customers need to move always their earning to cold wallets
Yeah, there really is no way to stop exchanges from getting hacked. If it were easy to stop hacks, then they would have stopped already. One thing to also remember is it is hard to prove that an exchange that gets "hacked" isn't just an inside job. How hard is it for someone in the company to steal funds? Or even then, its really easy for the owner of the exchanges themselves to steal from customers and then claim it was a hack.

Inside hack is the first possibility that any policeman will look on it. Mt gox, is the best known example, at least until Karpeles proved to be innocent.
7383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EXCHANGE HACKS.WILL IT EVER END? on: June 23, 2018, 09:34:55 PM
Is there really a permanent solution to this nightmare by hackers?

No, it will not end soon, like bank robbery, you can lower it as much as possible but you will find always some people trying to figure a way to steal from it.

7384  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price December 2018 on: June 23, 2018, 09:21:14 PM
Some analysts are of the view that Bitcoin Price could reach a peak in December that is double the price now?

There is a huge chance for the prediction of crypto analyst that bitcoins might surpass $20k dollars because bitcoins and other cryptocurrency has been already legalize on other countries.

Being legal in many countries is a good step so more people get involved in cryptocurrencies in general but that doesn't mean necessarily that the Bitcoin price will pass $20,000. The end of the year is always promising and having a stable price over $10,000 or $15,000 should be more important.
7385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Football league rise Bitcoin price? on: June 22, 2018, 07:45:24 PM
Roumers say football league would be rise the bitcoin price but as you see the market condition football league not effected yet bitcoin price.
So what do you think guys? Will rise the bitcoin price in this football league?

The only possibility of a potential rise is the association with people making more bets, else, i don't see how it will affect the price. I don't think many will use Bitcoin to buy a coffee or make a reservation with it in a hotel.
7386  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-22] Bitcoin Declines To 4-Month Low Amid Technical Pressure on: June 22, 2018, 07:39:28 PM
All time low i mean for this year of course Undecided
I don't know how relevant this technical selling but for sure the recent hacks and this shitty time of the year have something to do. I hope Bitcoin price gets its real value over $10,000 soon.
7387  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bithumb hacked: price went up = good sign? on: June 21, 2018, 06:42:51 PM
that is because the rise for halving started about a month before the actual event in both cases (we had only 2 halvings so far and both were the same).
price went up a lot before the halving, halving happened, price dropped for correction, it stayed stable for a while for accumulation then the rally continued. that is why you think it didn't move for weeks.

You are correct and that's the point. The bitcoin price movement is complex and depends from many variables. Having good news while a correction is about to happens will not prevent the price from dropping and vice versa Wink
7388  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bithumb hacked: price went up = good sign? on: June 20, 2018, 08:32:33 PM
Market prices are hard to predict. Sometimes there is a lot of good news for crypto, but the price of the market will drop. And today when there is bad news such as exchanging Bithumb attacked, but prices have not dropped and are trending up.

That's correct, I remember when the bitcoin halving happened for example, the price didn't move much until many weeks later. It is the same now, the price will not be affected so much until a large amount of coins will be dropped in the market later.
7389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most crypto friendly country in Europe is Switzerland. on: June 20, 2018, 08:05:15 PM
Switzerland has been named the most blockchain-friendly country in Europe by the Blockchain Conference Europe 2018
...
Gibraltar at second place, and Malta at third
...
Other countries that make the cut were United Kingdom, Denmark, Germany, Portugal, Netherlands, Finland,...

The actual listing is only temporary, changes happen in a matter of days just like what happened in Asia with China as the previous leader then Korea and Japan took the lead. Now Malta is getting more attention, the most important part is to keep politicians and bankers away from any decision related to cryptocurrencies.
7390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best source to find better ICOs? on: June 19, 2018, 07:53:36 PM
lot of ICOs in these days are scams or don't have real working product.and also they go below ICO price after list in exchanges.but i want to invest on real ICOs that have working product and give me 3x,4x back for my investment

I didn't try it yet but bountyhive seems to be a safe place to look for ico and bounties. Their team claims to inspecting and managing the ico which is relatively reassuring.
7391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins You Think will Grow on: June 19, 2018, 07:38:55 PM
ETH and Bitcoin Cash can go up, but XMR is also very promising. If we look at https://coinmarketcap.com/, we can see ETH and Bitcoin Hash in 2nd and 4th places. XMR is not so popular now. Ripple and LTH are also quite good for going up.  Wink

Those are classic coins which have a price trend similar to bitcoin, so when Bitcoin goes over $10,000 it will follow it.
XMR is not too much popular maybe but many use it for mining especially from scripts Undecided
7392  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-18] Bitcoin Miners in China’s Remote Regions are Undeterred By Restrict on: June 18, 2018, 04:51:27 PM
You will never know what those Chinese aim exactly. From banning trading to their local currency and taking down exchanges + ICO and lately rumours about banning mining activities! However in this article I see that the opposite is happening. Besides, Bitmain seems to have some impact in the economic and maybe political level which may explain this flux situation
7393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins You Think will Grow on: June 17, 2018, 09:48:01 PM
look at the previous year, everything was so cheap! now everything is much more expensive! so I think next year will be more perspective

2017 was a good year for cryptocurrencies in general where many people joined and bought coins, many projects and ICO were launched. In 2018, everything seem to stagnate and some cryptocurrencies returned to position 0. Players should learn to sell at the best moment. We will see if everything will rise again at the end of the year.
7394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason for recent dips? on: June 17, 2018, 09:41:42 PM
The market always moves like ocean waves, growth alternates fall and Vice versa.

I like this description however the reason of having those waves is bid and ask.
If we have more people buying than selling then the price goes up and vice versa Smiley
Some panic selling however could happen from time to time because of bad news  Undecided
7395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins You Think will Grow on: June 16, 2018, 06:48:25 PM
Litecoin has the potential to grow a lot. The coin's blockchain of 2.5 minutes make it one of the most successful coins out there. Also, since Segwit activation, this has also seen great improvement. The coin is considered as silver to bitcoin's gold and currently holds a market capital of $6 billion. Coinbase adoption has increased the coin's market value a lot and the coin has the potential to cross the $500 mark in the upcoming months.

Yes litecoin has good potential to grow although lately its price dropped a lot like the other coins.
For me I am attracted by the low price of dogecoin and wonder if it worth investing on it or not. I want to hear what others think about it.
7396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: planning for down market on: June 15, 2018, 09:47:28 PM
when market is going down what strategy you adopt??? like some people will sell or may be buy , some will hold or may be convert btc in usd.
i would like to know from all of you about your planning/ strategy.

Trading cryptocurrencies to $ when the prices drop is a big mistake, the opposite should happens actually. Better to hold your coins or buy if you can the cryptocurrencies which have a good potential and wait for a good opportunity to sell it.
7397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason for recent dips? on: June 15, 2018, 09:43:38 PM
Everything seems to be falling. Did I miss some news? Or is it just the markets correcting themselves?

The drop was synchronised with the hack of a Korean exchange but some people think it is related to it. What's clear is that the guys selling are way more than those buying.
7398  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-15] Venezuela Begins Monitoring Bank Accounts for Crypto Transactions on: June 15, 2018, 09:33:34 PM
They focused on what they called gold smugglers then they targeted cryptocurrencies which are traded with USD to avoid later the devaluation of their local currency. They closed also some exchanges and authorised others which don't seem to trade cryptocurrencies? What is going on with them!

7400  Economy / Speculation / Re: TRIPLE BOTTOM CONFIRMED??? on: June 14, 2018, 09:00:59 PM
People say yesterday I regretted not selling , Now they say we have another or third bottom
i hope this wall in 6000 broke for stop Bullshit

The trend lately is not telling good things, another pull and we will drop under $6k.
This negative trend should stop and keep holding for the future, after the summer things will be better.  Wink
