i'm waiting to sell off my last 100 shares. id be happy even selling them at .4 each i still feel that is overpriced.

lol ok ill take them off your hands then
742  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: January 23, 2014, 02:49:48 AM
i think AM is doomed, people desperately trying to push the price up in a last ditch effort to get out. With so much more competition coming AM doesn't stand a chance i get the feeling FC doesn't really care anymore because he's working on something else without investors. Try and get out while you can. AM is a good way to turn 10 btc into 1 btc. 90% risk.

welllllllllll looks like someone sold out at a loss
743  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: January 23, 2014, 02:38:36 AM

There has been a big sell off on havelock since the last divs were released
744  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE 220 TH/s on: January 23, 2014, 02:36:54 AM
That was me adding shares just below IPO. I was just taking a smaller position. I still have 2/3 of my original amount and wasn't acting out of any insider knowledge or anything sinister. I'm not going anywhere.
'

There you go scaring everyone lol
745  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE 220 TH/s on: January 23, 2014, 01:51:21 AM
Someone is dumping a lot of shares right below the block of leftover IPO shares under 0.05btc. I've been watching the trade history for a while and it seems that anytime a bunch of shares are purchased and take out the ask orders below the IPO block, someone comes in and places more for sale. Makes me a bit nervous because I've seen thousands of shares sell like that, so someone really want's to get out of a fairly sizable position. So I get that Cointerra should start shipping this week, but does anyone have insight about their other supplier delivery dates? Beginning to wonder why the big money got scared all of a sudden and If I should sit on the sidelines for a bit.

Theres nothing to worry about, people cash out all the time we dont know exactly why but it could be anything

In all honesty I've been on here for almost a year now and I'm a solid investor and miner myself. Taken a few risks but I wouldn't be purchasing of a new user especially without escrow and especially for goods not in hand. No offense to op but its just that we have all witnessed one too many scams on here. Op if I were you I'd be seeking a loan with fiat to purchase the goods and sell on here with escrow. At those prices as you can see you will have interest for those specific cards. It's just a matter of having the cards at hand to sell with escrow as opposed to selling pre orders as a newbie. Once again you may be a legitimate businessman seeking a good venture here and I mean no offense to you, but in order to gain trust you need to meet people half way.

Ok, You brought my sanity back to me, time to bail out. I cancel my order, please send me my BTC back. I prefer to pay bit more than risk that much/.

Oh wow, no escrow? This could get very interesting...
749  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone bought from mammoth mining? on: January 22, 2014, 01:27:19 PM
this forums ability to spot scams is awesome! Good detective work!

thats what we are here for Smiley when in doubt, all you gotta do is ask
750  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [Group Buy] SAPPHIRE TOXIC R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 on: January 22, 2014, 01:05:10 PM
I tell you what if you do find a way to do this via escrow i will take all the stock available because that is the cheapest in the world at the moment so I find it way too good to be true.
751  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: SAPPHIRE 280X TOXICS 3 FAN + ASROCK BTC PRO MOTHERBOARDS. ALMOST ALL READY TO GO on: January 22, 2014, 12:37:30 PM
Sounds good - no frame included though? Also I thought you didn't need powered risers with the BTC Pro board as you just put additional power into the MB

Frame not worth sending overseas as it would be cheaper to just purchase a frame from a dealer locally or build one yourself. For 6 gpus in a rig in my opinion i would make the rig quite long so shipping would be very expensive..

EDIT: Sorry missed the powered risers section.. I wouldnt rely on just the molex power adapter on the motherboard solely as 6 gpu cards will definitely draw alot of power with risers, and besides the USB risers that are out now all come with power adapters, mine are SATA + Molex so why risk not using it? The are much cleaner and easier to work with than the ribbon cables too

Note their scrypt miners are images from another LEGITIMATE website also:
https://openrigs.com/vitalia-standalone-gpu-frame

This is just plain laziness, they have gone all this way to scam others they couldnt even come up with their own prototypes/images of them.

Steer clear guys.

Oh well lets see how this turns out. I think its time to gather investors into my GPU mining farm and extend the living hell out of it. I wonder if I can get an IPO up and running instead of renting all my miners out I can invest in more and more seeing that I have access to everything I need, I think it can be very successful.
Havelock... You got mail!

How are you going with this mate any news on the DIY solution?

Im actually working on getting these settings right, so far ive managed to get one rig stabilised at around 4.6Mh/s. In a day or two I think I can get it up a bit.. I dont want to promise 4.8 and send out 4.6 but if thats all I can get then I will just have to edit this. This is what the package would consist of:

6 x Sapphire Toxic 280x
1 x Asrock H81 BTC PRO Motherboard
1 x G1820 Dual Core CPU
1 x 500GB Hard drive 3.5 SATA
8GB DDR3 RAM
5 x 1x16 risers powered USB style both Molex + SATA 50cm
1 x 16x riser ribbon style 30cm
2 x OCZ 1000W PSU 80+ Gold Rated
1 x Dual PSU adapter

Thats everything you need to get up and running and including shipping around the globe with fedex $4,150.00. Thats well under $0.90/Khash that most others sell for.

nice round numbers on this site.. however the prices are well above most on the internet. op you might want to have a look at https://agoracommodities.com as they take bitcoin as payment too and maybe if you could compete with those prices youll be opening the door to many customers in my opinion

Now that we are so close to start hashing, can we talk a little more about the rest of IPO shares:

Does anyone know if the IPO shares will continue to be available for sale after hashing begins? Just curious, as presumably they wouldn't be able to add to the capacity without a bit of a wait?

Looking forward to getting started Smiley

There is no reason for them not to be. They are repaying themselves with the ipo, so its in their interest to keep them up.
Considering the money they had to put out upfront to get this venture going I don't see why they wouldn't just receive and install all hardware they have ordered and keep the profits from the unsold shares for themselves/reinvestment until they sell.

I think that IPO shares have to be removed, or at least moved at higher price. Why? Well, for one, those that buy IPO shares now are not taking the risk of late hardware delivery, and can NOT be entitled to that 20% 'protection' (hashrate increase to 2.88). Also, it's not fair to early investors - we all could wait until now, and buy just now, with minimum risk and still at IPO price!?

If CryptX has hardware ordered from unsold shares, he can still mine with it, privately, and keep all the coins from that part of hardware.

I completely agree with ujka. It is not fair on the early investors that new players come in a receive the shares at below IPO cost and still be entitled to the 20% hashrate increase for receiving the units late. What do the early investors get out of this??
