Not sure whether the difference between the 290 and 290x is worth it but you can still purchase the 290 model for $499 at:

844  Economy / Securities / Re: PETAMINE IPO HAVELOCK TODAY on: December 10, 2013, 12:10:29 PM
The PETA-MINE is a hosted mining project with a maximum initial capacity of 240,000 GH/s or 240 TH/s of hashing power.

THE CONTRACTS

•   CryptX has a contract with Cointerra to deliver 60 TH/s of their devices of batch 1 (December Batch).
•   CryptX has also a contract with Bitmine to deliver up to 180 TH/s of their devices of batch 1 early January.
•   CryptX has a second contract with Bitmine to deliver up to 100 TH/s of their devices at the end of January.

Is that a typo supposed to be reading 340 TH/s as opposed to 240 TH/s or is there something im missing here?

User705 is on my ignore list, obviously for good reason. He's probably just weaseling out of the bid, nothing more.

It's been a while since I suggested such, but every auction should probably have something to the following effect:

"If you have are not yet a Full Member (3-coin forum rating), or have a negative trust rating, or are on my ignore list, your bids will not be counted unless a full backing payment to 1XYz1234568lhugfTGfkif22334 accompanies your bid. Any bid increases by such individuals must also be paid in full before they are respected as real bids. If such bidders lose an auction, all sent coins will be refunded to the address they were sent from."

Thats a great idea, but should be enforced with every user not just "3 coin forum rating" users. I myself am not a 3 coin rating yet though I have been a member of this forum for 8 months now and involved with bitcoin trades every day for a while longer than that. I think ive earnt my stripes just as much as full members have.. None the less, excellent idea to ensure that only bidders that are prepared to go through with their bids are the only ones involved in the auction.

20@3.2

You're very 'lucky' you were too late. Tongue
*FYI: You just bid 64BTC for 20 shares. Wink

Holy shit LOLLLLL  i just realised that!!!!

20@3.2

I fear that was sniped too hard... even though it was only 2 seconds i think the member that lost the shares would complain.

I now will make the endlist and send a pm with a unique payment address to each user.

Thanks for the auction!

Its ok seb looks like i wasnt outbid after all so i didnt even need that bid i dont think lol i just shit myself with all these snipers.. my original bid 25@.31 still stands?

855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [MEC] The pool owner of megacoin.miningpool.co steals $500 everyday!!! on: July 25, 2013, 06:47:02 AM
I got scammed out of a minimum of 2000 coins using this pool with 3 of my rigs for the day when the difficulty was around 10. I had 6500kh/s pointed at it for 20 hrs, found 6 blocks myself for this pool and received only 450coins in total. Biggest waste of time and money.
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: http://megacoin.miningpool.co/ on: July 24, 2013, 10:15:46 AM
Sorry but 460 megacoins when the difficulty was 10, finding blocks every 3minutes maximum and mining with 6000kh/s for 18hrs straight is a complete and total scam. That's 6 times under what I should have received. Since your pool corrected itself after 48hrs did it find my coins and credit my account with them? I don't think so. I can't believe people are still mining on this pool.
857  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: How long has your GPU lasted mining 24/7? on: July 23, 2013, 11:53:14 AM
4 x 7970 (running between 65-75c)
2 x 6990 (reaches temps from 65 up to 80)
1 x 6970 (65c)
3 x 6950 (65-75c)

24/7 mining (down only for maintenance or shifting to another area) approximately 6 months now.
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: http://megacoin.miningpool.co/ on: July 22, 2013, 09:06:26 AM
Yep the op is definitely pocketing a huge wad of all the solved blocks. I lost money mining with this pool. Had I of solo mined instead I would have 4 times the amount I got
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: http://megacoin.miningpool.co/ on: July 21, 2013, 09:27:32 PM
I tried this pool out for kicks yesterday, ran three of my rigs between minimum of 4gh/s to 6.5gh/s for a total of 18hrs and ive got nowhere near 500 megacoins let alone i should be looking at around 2500-3000 megacoins a day when you do the math, i was averaging 4-5.5 megacoins per block. When you're finding blocks every 3 minutes im no albert einstein but id cut my left testie off if theres not something wrong with this mining pools calculations.
BE WARNED GUYS SOMETHING SEEMS WRONG HERE.
Ill keep everyone posted on how the payout goes later in the day when the rest of my measly 21K shares get processed.
