Actually I am expecting that the distribution tomorrow goes as planned, there will be no more delays.
A couple of reasons for them to stick to plan B:
- They can't say anything about exchanges, because their under NDA. The exchanges in question (Kraken, Bittrex, etc) have a their own planning. All is depedent on one another, and my guess is that they don't want to put to much pressure on Kraken and possibly other NDA's
- If it's being delayed longer, the investors lose some trust
- Ethereum's network is being spammed yes, but if you update the client ~ or start with a clean chain-data and use the fast option it is possible to sync.

Anyway. Just want to tell here that my Ethereum is finally syncing allright.
I had to delete the whole chaindir before I could use the /fast switch, then in 8 hours I was up to date.

Well I am having serious problems with syncing Ethereum (yes, latest version of geth). I cannot see my balance anymore, wallet is totally screwed. HOWEVER, I am thinking about using myetherwallet. But is this safe enough? That's the question. |

Amazing how much ETH is being attacked right now, and that it didn't happen earlier this year. Lots of issues over the last month, can hardly run the client.
Exactly correct ! ive been trying to sync my ether wallet 0.8.4 (latest ) for about 3 FCUKING DAYS ........ i can see eth going back down under $10 if they cant fix this soon ..... same here, its annoying.. Especially considering the fact that most stuff in the chain is pure bloat. hoping for a quick solution |

Dear diary (X.16) is atleast syncing. Last one stopped with 24,000 blocks to go. I deleted the whole chaindirectory.
The keys are stored in Appdata right by default?
