the network effect is very important. when ethereum or altcoins are rising, thats also good for bitcoin and vice-verse.
its not like its the only one coin, or blockchain, that will rule the world.
Alot of people on reddit are pushing very hard the strings against core and for classic and for ethereum and against bitcoin. however, i stopped participate on that, because thats really just for morons and small children.

what i now, you can use services to buy online everything with bitcoin. you have just to google paying with bitcoin <insert your shopname>
so you dont need to rely on paypal or cc anymore, when you buy online something.

I went all in DAO some week ago. It is hard to resist a 50/50 chance lottery.
It looks like i got in at the right time anyway before ETH took off.
Now it is time to just sit back and hope for the best.
I was planing to buy ETH for DAO yesterday and the price went up. ETH sure made it right this time. If DAO will be widely use in the future as a token to invest on projects, DAO will also have higher value too which we all want. how can the DAO coin get a higher value as the the amount of ETH it has collected to fund their projects? when DAO is fund, so the value of the DAO coin will be the sum of the ETH its holding. |

There is a difference between being "hot" and being "used". "hot" is more like being anticipated, while Ethereum and Litecoin are obviously bigger in China right now. I'm only talking about being hot there, not that Lisk is the biggest and most popular crypto-currency in China. Just the most anticipated.

A lot of DAO tokens will be burned back to ETH so don't think that will be the final number it will decrease a lot, how much we don't know, it's pure speculation based on ETH price and DAO tokens price too when they start to get traded. my speculation with numbers tells me they will create some 2 Billion tokens. The value in $ will depend on ETH price (i guess it will raise, but its very volatile, so hard to tell numbers). I do hope alot of people will buy some tokens to make this project a full success. The more money they collect, the more they can spend on projects :-) |

However given that around 10% of eth or more is in DAO, this looks open to another interpretation.
If much more that 10% of Eth are collected, I wonder how well eth can function given the block or Eth in relatively small hands....if it get to 20%+ % then what?
I think they will collect 30% of all ETH at the end. Or it could be that ETH will rise in value, then they collect less, but the total amount in $ would be bigger. Now they have 10% of all ETH and I think thats just one third what they will collect at the end. The price of ETH will skyrocket to 0.04. That what I see. |

why are the devs not developing together with lisk, it would make their chance to have a successfull project running higher.
it will give you alot of problems forking a coin in development and working on it. there were projects forking darkcoin in 2014, almost all of them are gone. it would make sense to fork now dash, but not a system in development. it was the same with bitcoin, there were alot of forks, all gone. -i think you are underestimating the problematics -make a good coin, another coin, start from scratch, make an unique coin. this looks like a scam and probably is, even with good intentions. alot of people starting with good intentions and end bad. |

My Son owns a few Thousands of Lisk that I gave to him, and he wants them in 8 years for his 18 Party, what should I say to him ?  #Lisktalks Learn to code, write a Dapp so you use your Lisks. Write 100 Dapps and you will be successfull, so you can throw a good party. What else can you use Lisk, as for Dapps? For storage of wealth, i would not recommend. It will be an avalanche good for all the ETH ecosystem. lisk from 45:00 in the video. he is not having to say anything about it. I would say, LISK has to do alot of homework, before the launch and after it. Then Lisk can attack ETH, with Dapps on working side chains. also they are saying ETH has to do alot of homework too. Lisk has the power of the community and the technology. it could fail, no question. Doing just a new coin is a fail, like Rise try to do. |

What a load of crap. Many people bought both Lisk and Waves, I don't know a single person who is still waiting for Lisk to launch so they dump and buy Waves. Makes no sense. You must be kidding, waves next eth movement? You mean next pump & dump coin movement. Anyway, where do you think the money will flow after waves ICO? Lisk my friend, Lisk. I hope that I am wrong, but I predict, that a lot of people will sell (at least some) lisk and buy into waves ico, if lisk is really coming out before end. Just think about it. You made 20x with one ipo and there is another one coming out. Why should you not sell (at least a few) and get immediatelly on the next train, before it leaves? Many people don't think about the actual product, but only profit... Don't understand me wrong, I am all for Lisk, thats why I propose a launch AFTER the Waves ico ends... its only a few days anyway... The reason why Waves is overhyped is because people who missed the Lisk train are thinking the same success level will happen with waves, and it seems like soon waves will be overbought too, too bad. In a wave investor position, I would not consider a wise movement to move so much stake from Lisk to Waves, it can burn you. not every ICO is a success. knowing that, i would consider skipping waves ICO or just keeping Lisk, which will go much further as one day after the ICO. 1st June Max is taking part in important conference. I would just wait instead of dumping coins in a new risky involvement. |

i think they will collect up to 10% of all ETH, thats so crazy! Imagine they want to sell the ETH, they are going to break the price of it. Its going to be very exciting with this DAO. I do hope i will be not a debacle and losses for investors as it was with Omnia (Mastercoin). They are launching right after the ICO. |
