Randomx is mean for cpu not for gpu, you can still mine with gpu, but the ratio is 3:1 perfomance on the same power, vega need switch to other algo after xmr implement randomx |

What does it mean to have the "hw" code triggered for a GPU? My Radeon VII GPU is having almost a 40% "hw" triggering even though the pool is still accepting its share. However, the poolside hashrate for the card is very low. I am using TRM 0.5.2 and running my GPU @1575cclk/975mclk/855mV.
Any ideas what is happening and how to fix this?
Can you share your hashrate,power draw and stable settings. Did you manage to solve your "hw" errors problem? I'm also interested to buy one and I'm curious with the power draw and the temperatures. Also does it come with Samsung memory? Lowering you mem clock, then hw error will gone |

Well vega 56 is the best for monero and very stable card compared older amd gen, they cheap 200$ 2nd, new card co$t around 280$
Hashrate around 2350 stable using teamred&memory timing power consumption 190-200w
Dont mixing with other card on same mobo,
Here some trick: use ondt & reg for oc, you need to set every gpu core to 1410mhz, you need to see it on hwinfo on real running while mining, every gpu will be different on ondt setting
Tested blower model, on ambient room temp 34, gpu temp around 55-65 some gpu cooler/hotter

Prices on new GPU's were firm to slightly higher this week, especially at the lower end 1660's and 1660TI's. I saw them on sale through out the week, but most involved some sort of MIR - I don't like MIR's and I don't include them in my analysis. Still, if crypto prices continues to improve, and mining payback ROI starts to come back to the magic "365" day level, I except that demand will continue to keep GPU prices firm. And I don't expect to see GPU prices drop going forward, at least not in the aggregate. But I am keeping an I out for a good sale - come on Fry's, Micro Center.... Any help Newegg?  I must say nvidia suck in mining compared with 200$ vega 56, 1.43$/day , - electric = 1$/day |
