741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptopia SCAM on: February 24, 2018, 08:40:27 AM
May be you can provide any proofs. Some screenshoots, transactions or anything else? Quite big exchange may be some mistake? What do you mean dont credit account?

Yeah, you have to show some necessary attachments that could back up your claim so that we will take a look into it and know the real deal of your complaints. If you are not doing this here, I hope you did it when you sent your complaints to the support of Cryptopia. I think they will respond to it a bit faster and efficiently if you are supporting your complaint with evidences. For quite some time that I am using Cryptopia, I have not encountered a single instance when I felt being scammed or cheated. I guess there were just some technical glitches involved in your case.
742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC? on: February 23, 2018, 06:53:16 AM
I am a newcomer to the crypto market.
Should I invest in ICO projects or would I buy bitcoin to hold and wait for the price? Please give me advice.
Sincerely thank you.

Normally, I would say it is better if you invest in promising and most probably highly successful ICOs and then at the same time buy some Bitcoins also. This is what I am doing myself and I think a lot of people here are also doing the same thing. But since I noticed that you are still a beginner here, I think you are safer if you invest in Bitcoin as of this time while learning the necessary techniques in order for you to end up investing in great ICOs.
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: eth going strong on: February 22, 2018, 06:12:53 AM
eth is good now ..

Ethereum is good now and in the future. To those who want to join the huge body of Ethereum investors, time to buy right now because the price of Ethereum is going back to the less than $900 price. This is a great season to join and buy Ethereum. Sooner or later, Ethereum will once again soar and will be breaking the hard resistance in $1,000. By that time, it will once again start its bull run and will never go back to that level.
744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can go wrong! on: February 21, 2018, 05:23:11 AM
If we learn from our mistakes, what words of caution would you like to share.

I have several in mind actually. Let me try to list them one by one here.

1. Avoid getting emotional. Emotions will lead you to actions you might end up regretting later on.

2. Continue to HODL and HODL despite the prices going down. Selling during bloody days will end up with a loss as well as regrets for sure to the sellers.

3. Learn to read whitepapers and check the websites of the projects whose ICO you want to invest in.

4. Just enjoy the crypto ride, keep calm, be patient because in the long run, we will all become rich here in crypto.

5. We are part of the future. Do not quit!

745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in 2018 on: February 21, 2018, 04:45:24 AM
The journey of bitcoin from 2009 to 2017 is very interesting. Although the stories of individuals(investors) are very interesting and motivational that how they initiated and what problems they faced at earlier stages.

In 2017 the number of businesses accepting bitcoin continues to increase. Where you see the bitcoin in 2018?

The last quarter of 2017 was a very crucial point in the life of Bitcoin. It was the time when Bitcoin far exceeded the target and almost shocked everyone. The very strong surge made Bitcoin attract the attention and interest of so many people across the world, even those who were for a long time against it. Bitcoin made it to the mainstream. I think that was the start of the world's acceptance to Bitcoin. The year 2018 will even be bigger for Bitcoin.
746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is ETH 'too big to fail'? on: February 20, 2018, 07:15:18 AM
It is not about Ethereum too big to fail. It is about Ethereum having something to put on the table. The cryptocurrency world is being dominated by Ethereum-based coins. This only means that Ethereum is already playing a very vital role in the entire crypto setup. And the full potential of Ethereum is still not yet maximized. There are still a lot of huge companies out there planning to join the Ethereum blockchain community. I think we are going to see Ethereum in the $2,000 level in a month or two.
747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Envion price prediction? on: February 20, 2018, 01:41:54 AM
How much do you guys predict the new coin Envion EVN to be this coming week when it joins hitbtc.

Who among us here did not hear about this new coin? Such a very popular coin. I am not one of the investors of Envion. I was just a bystander observing how the ICO went out. It was very famous because of how huge the number of promoters. In addition, I always encounter their ads everywhere, especially in social media platforms, and even in coinmarketcap. The result was pretty amazing, a huge sold out. I think they even get into a certain rank in terms of ICO success. The coin will easily double or triple its initial value.
748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: February 19, 2018, 06:35:09 AM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.

I guess I will just say what I have earned or gained through Bitcoin. It is indeed very hard to counter or argue against a very subjective opinion of someone who have not yet even experienced the real beauty of Bitcoin. I guess there is no need to resort to some heated arguments if you wish to convert the man and incite the interest in him. There is no point doing that to a man who has already shown some hatred to Bitcoin. Just show some hard proofs instead and leave him to decide on his own. It is not your loss after all.
749  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you trust chart analysts? on: February 19, 2018, 06:00:34 AM
Do you really trust chart analyst?lot of people predict bitcoin price with chart analyst.but i don't trust them.i think bitcoin price and other crypto price depend on supply, demand and NEWS.

There are some truths in chart analysis although of course it is not 100% accurate. It cannot be that accurate. We have to admit that Bitcoin and altcoins' prices are unpredictable in general. There may be some accuracy but it does not happen all the time and it is only to a certain extent. The supply of crypto does not move anymore. They are fixed. The prices are basically based on the demand. News, updates, and other very important announcements also play a very vital role in the prices of cryptos. But it can also be seen on the charts somehow.
750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people want Bitcoin? on: February 18, 2018, 07:01:56 AM
Why do people want Bitcoin?

Bitcoins act as new currencies in the digital age. It can cross borders without any banks or governments.

The recent boom in Bitcoin may be great news for those who put money here early. But it also made it possible for Bitcoin to become a distant currency.

I can now use my Bitcoin number to buy stuff at Overstock or book a hotel at Expedia. But if I use Bitcoin to buy $ 25 on the Overstock today, and next week Bitcoin prices will increase fourfold, I'll feel that stock is $ 100. If Bitcoin loses its price, at least I still have the stock to use.

Bitcoins are considered as a kind of asset, instead of currency, with great profit expectations later on.

Bitcoin may be viewed and used both ways. And for me, it is great using Bitcoin either of the two ways. I love Bitcoin because it is like a world currency. There is no need for one to convert to another country's currency when visiting other parts of the world when one is using Bitcoin. And then the convenience is also awesome since it is online-based. At the same time, your unused and stored Bitcoins in your wallet is increasing in value.
751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good time to buy BTC? on: February 17, 2018, 05:09:15 AM
as bitcoin price has come too low from 17000$ to 11000$ , im just curious now will it will decrease more?

is it a right time to buy btc??
what are the chances of bitcoin rise?

The $11,000 was not even the lowest point. It even went as low as $6,000. But it is not the end of the world. We know that Bitcoin investment is not a smooth and straight ride. It is actually really like riding a rollercoaster or an off-road and very bumpy ride. But the end of everything is a very fulfilling sight. If you invest in Bitcoin, your portfolio will experience highs and lows. But in the end, the highs are really the ones that will dominate.
752  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin finally hit 20K on: February 17, 2018, 12:46:48 AM
After a long wait Bitcoin is rising up in charts.Do you think Bitcoin will finally hit 20K this month if its price increase rapidly? Roll Eyes

Bitcoin is indeed rising. And this is going to continue for the entire month of February most probably. The growth is moderate so it will take time for Bitcoin to enter the $20,000 value. However, this is already a very good news. I actually do not take it as a big deal if Bitcoin moves up slowly for as long as it is continuous. But I am seeing $20,000 for Bitcoin in the first quarter of 2018.
753  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is recovering! on: February 16, 2018, 10:26:02 AM
You are right. The price of Bitcoin has slowly recovered. This is it. This is the moment everyone has been waiting for. This the confirmation everyone needs to finally know that Bitcoin is still very much alive and that it will still break new peaks in the months to come. Although the recover is a little bit slow, it has been consistent in the past few days. This is rather good so that hard corrections coming from spikes will be avoided. There is a very healthy rise and fall of prices in the charts but the trend is in a climbing direction.
754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference between ICO and Token sale? on: February 16, 2018, 09:04:31 AM
Hey Guys,

What is the difference between ICO and Token sale? not sure I totally understand it.
Just invested at www.payperex.com . there it is Token sale.

I really appreciate your help!

Both names can be applied to each other actually. Well, if you want to be very detailed about it, you may replace "token" with "coin" because strictly speaking "coin" and "token" are two different things. But they are used interchangeably just like ICO and token sale. During ICO or Initial Coin Offering, the thing that is being offered to the interested investors are coins or tokens and so I cannot see any difference on the two terms being used. ICO is a more business-like term, perhaps taking from IPO.
755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to dump ETH? on: February 15, 2018, 10:20:42 AM
What is the particular reason this thread is resurrected? This thread has been here for almost a year already. Anyway, to answer a question that applies last year as much as today, it is not yet dumping time for your Ethereum (ETH). The come back is currently happening right now and I think Ethereum will successfully break the $1,000 resistance. From that point, Ethereum will easily get back to its $1,300 level and even go beyond that approaching $2,000.
756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be hacked? on: February 15, 2018, 08:56:43 AM
I love the concept of Bitcoin. I believe the Internet will redefine currency as we know it.  I hope this helps the Bitcoin community to develop a currency that's really resilient to attacks.

But, is it possible?

I am afraid it might not be possible at all. The progress in the online world is a double-edged sword because it does not only mean that the security of sites and other online innovations have developed, it also means the progress of hackers and their capabilities. For all we know, the online world is actually an everlasting battle between hackers and the people who maintain various online systems. But it is unfortunate that there are times when the hackers are ahead a few steps.
757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Local forum or International forum? (Newbie) on: February 14, 2018, 11:34:17 AM
hello everyone.. I am newbie in this forum. which section is better to grow for newbie like me. local or international forum? I speak in both languages. thank you.

You can actually explore, read, raise questions, and respond through both channels. In the local thread, the good thing there is that you will raise questions and receive responses in the local language as well. But there is a probability that the answers you will receive are rather limited because only the members speaking the local language will be able to respond to you. In an international thread, you will be answered and guided by anyone in the entire forum.
758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash is going to $3500 by June on: February 14, 2018, 01:20:27 AM
There is a information in the corners that Bitcoin cash will goto a new height a touch near $4000very soon and may even the king. A lot of people are shifting from Bitcoin to Bitcoin cash.

The problem is that in other corners the talk is that Bitcoin Cash is one opportunistic coin that fuels their growth by trying to do damage to the one true initiator of cryptocurrency and blockchain which is Bitcoin. And the talk of the town right now is that the team behind Bitcoin Cash is composed of greedy people who are bent on doing anything just to have a taste even a little success. Well, I am inclined to agree with such talks.
759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i am newbi so i am late or not to this field? on: February 13, 2018, 12:51:01 PM
Hi,
i am newbi so i  am late or not  to cryptocurrency field?
if train is gone? -Thank you

The train will always be here to those who want to ride. The train we are talking here is the crypto train. It welcomes everyone for as long as they truly believe in the ideals and vision of crypto. There is no problem whether you arrived just now or before. There are basically the same ideals crypto is promoting before, now, and in the future. Decentralization, transparency, anonymity are the top of which. In terms of investment also, you are not too late either. The room for progress in crypto and even Bitcoin is still very huge. Bitcoin and the rest of the altcoins can still multiply several folds.
760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like airdrops? on: February 13, 2018, 12:04:42 PM
Hello guys!  Wink

Today I wanted to ask you, what do you think about airdrops?

As for me, I work in the KickCity project and recently we launched airdrop. I do really like the result! We have a lot of newcomers and new people who are interested in the company. If you want to join you can ask the team in the community https://t.me/kickcity_chat

SO  Shocked

Are you taking part in airdrops? Do you like the result? What is the feedback?
Or maybe you are working in a project launching airdrop?

Right now, I am already losing my appetite with crypto airdrops. I used to join airdrops and even check some updates on a daily basis. However, it seemed all the coins I received are nothing but either little peanuts or useless shitcoins. With that, I stopped exerting effort in looking for airdrops, signing up, and checking every now and then for updates. What I received were not worth my effort.
