Why do people want Bitcoin?

Bitcoins act as new currencies in the digital age. It can cross borders without any banks or governments.

The recent boom in Bitcoin may be great news for those who put money here early. But it also made it possible for Bitcoin to become a distant currency.

I can now use my Bitcoin number to buy stuff at Overstock or book a hotel at Expedia. But if I use Bitcoin to buy $ 25 on the Overstock today, and next week Bitcoin prices will increase fourfold, I'll feel that stock is $ 100. If Bitcoin loses its price, at least I still have the stock to use.

Bitcoins are considered as a kind of asset, instead of currency, with great profit expectations later on.

the new money fake but everyone starts to realize it's fake ?

To be frank the real thing that brought people in the world of bitcoin was making in the first place. There are more google searches of bitcoin than previous top searches and it makes me think that bitcoin has made everyone crazy. We might think that people want to avail the different service of bitcoin but no, that’s not the cases, people don’t search where I can use bitcoin, people search how can I earn with bitcoin more often. That completely tells us how greedy they are and it’s all about the money and nothing else that is attracting many peoples here. Let’s be just honest about that.

Is the past people started investing in bitcoin due to being a fresh technology with great potential. Honestly right now, many people only invested due to all those news about bitcoin on the media where it grew god knows how much % during 2017 etc Most of them don't know about the technology or anything, they just have the dream of hodling and getting rich out of nowhere like many did before

bitcoin is now mostly used as a good asset to invest, it is what affects that people will be much interested in bitcoin, especially invest in it.

but as a person who has more hopes on this blockchain technology, I really hope that bitcoin later really can be one of the official currency that is traded and used as a transaction process anywhere.

To be honest, most people wants bitcoin for its speculative purposes nor for its future technological currency. We know that bitcoin is here in use for almost a decade but most of the people talking about bitcoin from 2017 due to that huge bump happened at the back end of the year.
But people have to keep bitcoin for its amazing technology of peer to peer transaction and it was decentralized. You are the full controller of your bitcoin you can use it anywhere you want with ease. You just going to need the receiver bitcoin address to make transaction anywhere in the world.

There are actually numerous reasons as to why people are interested in investing to cryptocurrencies, most especially bitcoin itself. For example, most people patronize the use if bitcoins because it behaves as an asset or a way for them to profit. Others are interested behind the processes and functions of bitcoins. Some are futuristics and are supposing that butcoin will be the future of money so they have to be the ones to tap first on bitcoins. Whatever it is, we are connected with the fact that we are gere because we have been curious!

People basically wants Bitcoin because of the financial help that it will give to the owners of bitcoin. Bitcoin can be converted into cash in which we can use it in our daily lives. The blockchain technology where bitcoin lies is now giving interest for other people to use it into their own projects and this would give a lot of improvement for our technologies.

Bitcoin is special to people that they see it as a way to achieve their dreams. Bitcoin helps normal people to move forward and keep on fighting on everyday battles that they are facing.  It acts as an investment that generates profit and as a currency also that can be used to buy services online.

Most of us here have experienced the growth of bitcoin especially in 2017. That makes us want bitcoin!
Hopefully, some of the altcoins I've invested in will follow in bitcoin's footstep.

Honestly, most (or even all) people use/buy Bitcoin not to use it to purchase something online or peer to peer, instead they are just taking advantage of it because it has the potential to increase its value even more, this is why we have experienced a lot of ups and downs. I will be shocked if anyone here are just using their Bitcoin only to purchase something online and not to make profit. You are right that Bitcoin is more functioning as an asset/investment right now but it doesn't mean that it cannot be use as a currency.

Keeping it simple.

I use Bitcoin and Ether because I have no more use for saving dollars, euros, or kroner. When I need those, I convert some Bitcoin or Ether into them.

Bitcoin and Ether don’t disappoint me. My 401K and other retirement accounts disappoint me often.

Each time I reach into my digital wallet for either Bitcoin or Ether, they buy more dollars, euros, or kroner than they did the last time I reached.

What more can you ask from a money?
